New York City
In New York City, a  man heads heads home. Upon arriving at his place , it begins to rain, and he notices that his window is up.

He attempts to close it, but the window is jammed.

As he tries to force the window down, he drops his cell phone down the fire escape.

He leans on a desk, lowering his head, when a dove lands on the windowsill and leaves a postcard behind.

One side reads "Broken", the other has a picture of the and the phrase, "Greetings from Storybrooke".

The Enchanted Forest

Two riders approach a castle. Inside, Prince Philip cuts through the thorns surrounding the bier on which Princess Aurora slumbers.

Prince Phillip approaches the bier and just before kissing Aurora, speaks to his traveling companion," If this works, we don't tell her everything. Not right away."

His companion nods as Prince Phillip kisses Aurora, a burst of True Love springs forth, and Princess Aurora awakens, sitting up as she gasps," Phillip?"

" Yes, Aurora." Prince Phillip smiles and Princess Aurora says to him," I told you not to come after me."

The two kisses while Prince Phillip's companion walks away and Aurora sits up, looking around, confused as she asks," How long have I been asleep? What happened?"

" It doesn't matter, the worst of it is over. Now that we're together, we'll restore this castle. And our kingdom. As we dreamt, be here always." Prince Phillip says to her but Princess Aurora questions out the seemingly empty area," Where is everyone? Why does it need to be rebuilt?"

" It's a long story. And you, my love, need rest." Prince Phillip says to Princess Aurora but she declines," I've had my fill of rest."

" Then come with me." Prince Phillip persuades as he lifts her down from the bier," Our people have gathered in a new safe haven. We must join them."

" A safe haven. From whom?" Princess Aurora questions only for Prince Phillip to assure her," No. Worry not, she can no longer harm us."

" First she goes after my mother. Then me. Forgive me if I'm still a bit wary." Princess Aurora says but Prince Phillip says to her," Don't be. There are new dangers now. But nothing we can't handle."

With that, the two kisses each other.

Storybrooke

At the main street, the purple mist dissipates leaving David and Mary Margaret with their memories regained and together.

Mary Margaret looks around and she asks David,
" What's happening?"

" Let's find out." David suggests and Mary Margaret nods.

Holding hands, the two begin walking down the street, where they soon encounter Ruby and Granny, who like them also regained their memories

Ruby looks at Mary Margaret and she smiles," Snow?"

The two embrace as David and Granny hugs.

At that moment the counterparts of the Seven Dwarves approaches with Grumpy addressing Mary Margaret," Your Highness?"

Mary Margaret smiles at the dwarves; they bow and share a group hug.

Grumpy looks around and he asks," The curse, it's broken?"

" It would appear so." David acknowledges as he clasps hands with Leroy.

" So what do we do now?" Ruby asks as Mary Margaret answers," Now? Now I find my daughter."

At that moment. Emma, Henry and Zatanna arrives in the street and Emma gasps," So it's true."

Mary Margaret closes in, apprehensively, she touches Emma's face, then hugs her, tears in her eyes as she sobs," You found us."

David goes up and he hugs Emma as well.

Granny goes up to Zatanna and she smiles, " Zatanna Zatara? Is that you?"

Zatanna nods as Ruby also goes up to her, remarking out," My, look at how you've grown!"

David and Mary Margaret then pulls away from Emma as they look at Zatanna, with David gasping out," My God, Zatanna. You're all grown up!"

" Look how beautiful you have become." Mary Margaret gasps as Zatanna blushes," Thanks. You two still look as good as you were before."

Henry approaches the two and he addresses David," Grandpa?"

Mary Margaret laughs as David nods," Yeah, kid. I suppose so."

He hugs Henry as the boy remarks," She did it. She saved you."

" She saved all of us." Mary Margaret beams as everyone looks at Emma who could only stutter," I... Well..."

" Uh, then why are we still here?" Leroy questions out and David agrees," That, my friend, is an excellent question."

Mr. Clark sneezes and he questions out," And what was that smoke?"

" Who did this?" Doc asks as Bashful adds to his question," And what was that smoke?"

" And why?" Walter questions out as Happy repeats Mr. Clark's question," And what was that smoke?"

Just then, Mother Superior joins the group, saying to her," It's here. I can feel it."

Mary Margaret touches her hands as Henry asks Mother Superior," Magic? In Storybrooke? But you're the Blue Fairy . Do something magical."

Mother Superior shakes her head as she says to Henry," It's not quite that simple, Henry. No wand. No Fairy Dust. Matters are complicated now."

Zatanna waves her hands, feeling a little bit of magic growing and as she opens her hands, she watches magic sparkles conjuring out and she says," I can feel my power returning. But not to my full potential yet."

Leroy then angrily states out," Let's go to the person responsible for bringing it, the Queen!"

The other dwarves nod and voice agreement but Emma quickly stops them," No. Wait. It wasn't Regina."

Woods

After the purple smoke disappears, Mr. Gold and Belle are deep in conversation over her disappearance.

" My darling Belle. You have to tell me what happened to you." Mr. Gold persuades as Belle tells him," I was abducted."

" Regina?" Mr. Gold questions out in shock as Belle nods," She locked me away until her curse. And I've been in there ever since."

" For 28 years." Mr. Gold gasps as Belle nods," All these years, you've been here. Alive."

" Is that—is that why you did this? Why you wanted magic? For revenge?" Belle questions out but Mr. Gold shakes his head," Oh, no. But it might come in handy."

" No. No!" Belle begs but Mr. Gold refuses to listen," I cannot let this stand, Belle, I will not let this stand!"

" Look." She takes his hand as she say to Mr. Gold," Promise me. Promise me you won't give in to your hate. Promise me you won't kill her."

Mr. Gold looks away from her, saying nothing as she pleads," Promise me and we can be together."

" Oh." Mr. Gold expresses out and he caresses her face, swearing to her," Sweetheart, I promise."

They kiss and embrace.

The main street

Zatanna, Emma, Henry, her parents, the dwarves, Mother Superior, Ruby, and Granny walk down the street.

Mary Margaret then asks Emma," Is there anything that you wanted to ask us? I mean, you must have questions."

" The only questions I have are for Mr. Gold. Why did he double-cross me, and what did he do to this town?" Emma states, not considering what Mary Margaret is talking about which causes her to ask," Uh... Shouldn't we talk about "it" first?"

" What?" Emma stares at her mother as Mary Margaret clarifies," Us. Your life. Everything?"

However, Emma is very dismissive over this and she simply brushes Mary Margaret off,
" Can we do "everything" maybe later? Like, with a glass of wine. Or several bottles."

David goes up to her and he says to her," I know it's a lot to take in. For all of us."

Mary Margaret agrees," And we don't want to push, but we've waited for this moment for so long..."

" Yeah, so have I!" Emma bitterly spat," I've thought about this moment my entire life. I've imagined who you might be. But of all the scenarios that I concocted, my parents being... I-I just need a little time. That's-that's all."

Zatanna steps in and she says to David and Mary Margaret," Please you two. This is a lot for Emma so let's go back home first and we can discuss it later okay?"

Mary Margaret and David looks at each other before nodding.

Just then, there was a loud sound from a nearby commotion and David looks at Mary Margaret," Snow?"

Many townspeople, including the likes of Dr. Whale , are running through the streets.

Archie approaches the group and he urges them," There you are. Come with me, I need your help. Dr. Whale's whipped everyone into a frenzy. They're going to Regina's . They're gonna kill her!"

" Great, let's watch." Leroy sneers only for Archie to disagree," No. No, we cannot stoop to her level. No matter who she is or what she's done, killing her is wrong."

Zatanna agrees with Archie," Yeah, that's what my dad would have wanted."

" They're right." Henry nods. he looks at Emma and pleads with her," Please. She's still my mom."

Emma looks at Mary Margaret, understanding her son's point and she nods," We have to stop them."

" If the Blue Fairy is right and magic is here, Regina could have her powers back. They could be marching into a slaughter." David states as he and Mary Margaret share a glance, nodding.

The group takes off down the street, rushing to stop the mob from confronting Regina.

The Enchanted Forest, Aurora's Palace.

Back in Aurora's palace, Prince Phillip looks at Princess Aurora and he says to her," I missed you so much."

Phillip's companion walks purposefully to an entryway, laying a hand on the ground, which trembles.

They draw their sword, and a creature bursts up through the floor, knocking them back.

Prince Phillip notices and he rushes up to the creature, swinging his sword at it.

Still on the dais near her bier, Princess Aurora gets up and she shouts," Phillip!"

Prince Phillip slashes at the creature, cutting off a amulet, which falls to the ground.

The creature lets out a loud shriek and flies off, leaving Prince Phillip, who then picks up the amulet.

Princess Aurora rushes out, watching the creature flying and she asks," What was that thing?"

" Something bad." Prince Phillip answers as he lays his eyes on the amulet

Storybrooke, Mr. Gold Pawnbroker & Antiquities Dealer

Mr. Gold and Belle enter the shop as Mr. Gold tells Belle," You, uh... You wait here, Belle. I'm gonna find you something to wear. You've spent enough time in these rags."

Belle smiles at him appreciatively," Thank you."

Mr. Gold enters the back of his shop and unlocks a large cabinet.

Putting on gloves, he removes a small container.

Opening it, he removes the same amulet dropped by the creature in the Enchanted Forest.

Storybrooke, The Mills' house.

At the same time, the mob of townspeople shout outside of the Mill's House as Dr. Whale bangs on her front door, shouting," Open up! Open up or we're coming in!"

He bangs on the door again; it open and the crowd is greeted by Regina who simply smiles and asks him innocently," Can I help you?"

Dr. Whale growls," That smirk isn't gonna last forever, Regina. You took everything from us. And now..."

" What? Now you're gonna kill me?" Regina sneers as Dr. Whale nods," Eventually. But first, you need to suffer."

Regina steps outside and shoved Dr. Whale back, spitting," Listening to you has been enough suffering for all of us."

Addressing the crowd, Regina declares out," That's right. You wanted to see your Queen? Well, my dears."

She slowly raises her arms and enunciating," Here she is!"

She flings her hands forward and the crowd cowers and ducks, all clearly expecting magic.

However, nothing happens.

Regina eyes widens, shocked by the reveal and the crowd recovers, realizing that Regina has no magic before a man screams out from the crowd," She's powerless!"

" What?" Regina questions out as another man in the crowd shouts," Get her!"

The crowd move toward her, with Dr. Whale in the lead.

" Now," He shoves her up against a column and he sneers, preparing to punish Regina," Where were we?"

As Dr. Whale raises his hands toward Regina's throat, at that moment, there's a big puff of smoke followed by Zatanna screaming," Enough!"

Dr. Whale backs away as Zatanna stood in front of Regina, opens her eyes as she launches a burst of fireworks, shocking everyone, including Regina of Zatanna's restored powers.

Emma and the company arrives at that moment as Dr. Whale challenges Zatanna," Why should I listen to you?"

Emma quickly stands next to Zatanna and she says to Dr. Whale," Because my sister here have actual magic and if you know better, you wouldn't try anything."

Emma then pulls out her badge and she establishes her role, " And besides, I am still the Sheriff."

" Because she saved you. All of you!" David adds to Emma and Zatanna's words as Mary Margaret joins in," And because no matter what Regina did, it does not justify this!"

" We are not murderers here." Zatanna says and Dr. Whale retorts," Well, we're not from this world."

" Yeah, well, you're in it now." Emma states.

David puts himself between Dr. Whale and Regina and he coaxed the doctor," Okay, Whale. We're done."

Dr. Whale however, refuses David's orders, defiantly shouting," Back off! You're not my Prince."

David stares at him, pausing as he questions Dr. Whale's identity in the Enchanted Forest," Who are you, Whale?"

" That's my business." Dr. Whale retorts.

David then states," Well, my business is making sure this town doesn't go to hell, so whether or not I'm your Prince isn't the issue. We have a lot to figure out. And this isn't the way to do it."

Mary Margaret moves next to Regina and she tells the crowd," And Regina's death won't provide any answers. She needs to be locked up. For her safety, and more importantly, for ours."

Sheriff Department

Soon, Zatanna, Emma, Mary Margaret, and Henry are present as David locks Regina in a cell.

Regina scoffs out," So, I'm a prisoner now?"

David then asks Regina," If the curse is broken, why didn't we go back?"

" Because there's nothing to go back to. That land is gone." Regina states.

Mary Margaret then suggests to the rest," We should get to Gold."

" Are you sure?" Zatanna asks," He wasn't affected by the curse, well memory wise at least but considering everyone got their memories back, he's probably as dangerous as he was when he faced my father."

" Yeah but what choice do we have?" David says.

" I agree we can't trust him but he might be the only one who might know something." Mary Margaret says.

" Maybe even the one who did all this." Emma adds.

Henry then confidently adds," And besides, we have you. You have magic."

" Yeah. I guess. I still need to practice since it's been so long since I last used magic." Zatanna adds and Emma beckons to her family," Great. Let's go."

The group leaves, leaving Regina alone in the cell.

Regina eyes the lock on the door, holding out her hand as if attempting to use magic when a familiar voice interrupts her thoughts," Magic is different here, dearie."

Regina looks up, seeing Mr. Gold enter the Sheriff's Department and she says," I noticed. I assume this is all you're doing."

" Most things are." Mr. Gold nods.

" Get to it, Rumplestiltskin. What do you want? You here to finish the job?" Regina challenges only for
Mr. Gold to shake his head," No, no, no. You're safe from me."

" I feel so relieved." Regina sarcastically remarks, not convinced.

Mr. Gold states to her," I made a promise to someone that I won't kill you."

" Who could elicit that from you?" Regina questions as Mr. Gold answers," Belle."

" She's alive?" Regina questions out, pretending to be shocked but Mr. Gold is not fooled by her lies," You are a dreadful liar."

" I could have killed her. But I didn't." Regina states and

Mr. Gold agrees," Yeah, you did much worse than that. You kept her alive, so you could kill her when it suited you. A fate worse than death. Which, incidentally, is exactly what I've got in store for you."

He reaches through the bars of the cell, grabbing Regina's hand and pulling it to him. He produces the amulet and presses it against her open palm.

Regina recognises the amulet and she gasps out,
" Is that..."

" Yes, dearie. The one thing no one can escape. Destiny. And I promise, yours is particularly unpleasant." Mr. Gold threatens before releasing her.

Regina pulls back her hand and glares at him as he chuckles out in delight.

The Enchanted Forest, Aurora's Palace.

Princess Aurora, Prince Phillip, and his traveling companion continue to talk as a feminine voice exits from the helmet, " Qui Shen."

Prince Phillip puts the amulet into a purse at his side as the companion explains," In your land you would call it a wraith."

Princess Aurora asks Prince Phillip," I'm sorry, who is this?"

The Companion removes her helmet, revealing herself to be a beautiful young woman of a Chinese ethnicity and she answers," A friend."

Princess Aurora stares at her in shock," You're a girl?"

" Woman. My name is Mulan." Mulan introduced herself as Prince Phillip explains to Princess Aurora," In your absence, she has helped me like no other. We've fought many battles together."

Princess Aurora expresses out with a slight hint of jealousy," With a woman."

Prince Phillip nods and Mulan briefs to them," And now we have another to wage. The Qui Shen, the Wraith, is one of the most dangerous creatures in all the known lands. A soul sucker. According to legend it marks its victims and removes their souls, damning them for all eternity. My friends, nearly lost their lives until the magician  fended it off."

China, Years Ago, Mulan's Village

Mulan pushes herself up, seeing her comrades, Yao, Ling and Chien Po trying to fend off a Wraith as villagers ran for safety.

" Take that!" Ling screams as he swings his sword at the Wraith only for the creature to swing it's arm out, sending him flying with one hit.

The Wraith flies forward as Chien Po grabs a cart using his strength, he throws it at the Wraith only for the creature to phase through it before grabbing onto Chien Po.

Yao throws a spear at the Wraith and it simply throws Chien Po down onto him, crushing him underneath's the heavyset man's weight.

Ling, Chien Po and Yao helps each other up as the Wraith closes in onto a young boy and girl, only for General Li Shang to jump in, screaming out," Back off!"

Mulan also rushes in, only for the Wraith to simply grab Li Shang and throw him at Mulan, knocking them down.

The Wraith prepares to feast just as a blast of magic struck it.

" Huh?" The group widens their eyes in shock as Yao questions out," Hey? What gives?"

" Him." Chien Po says as the group notices a man firing another cackles of magic, fending off the Wraith.

The group watches as the man then uses his magic to bind the Wraith in a magical sphere before sending it flying out of the village.

With the Wraith gone, the man then says to everyone," Relax. You're safe now."

Mulan looks at the man in shock as Li Shang questions out," Who are you?"

The man turns, revealing himself to be a young caucasian man with a moustache dressed in an European style tuxedo and a hat, similar to that of a magician and he introduces himself," My name is Giovanni Zatara. And I'm here to help."

Enchanted Forest, Now, Aurora's Palace

The Wraith's wailing could be heard and Mulan explain," Those are the sounds of the souls it's trapped, trying to escape. But fortune favoured us, as we all avoided the mark. We need to begin our journey."

She turns and walks away as Prince Phillip assures Princess Aurora," It's okay. We'll be safe with our people."

The two embrace.

As they do, Prince Phillip notices a mark on his hand from the Wraith's amulet. Princess Aurora turns and Prince Phillip hides his hand before she sees it, asking him in concern," Phillip, what is it?"

" Nothing. Everything is fine." Prince Phillip lies

Storybrooke, Woods.

In the woods, Mr. Gold drops the amulet on the ground in a small clearing, his Dagger in hand as he holds it up, chanting," The Dark One summons thee!"

Mr. Gold stabs the dagger into the ground near the amulet.

Cell

The scene then jumps to Regina, on the cot in her cell, sitting up abruptly; gasping.

She looks at her hand; The mark of the Wraith has appeared on it.

Woods

The scene transitions back to Gold in the woods.

The Wraith appears from the amulet, rising up with the amulet around its neck.

Main Street

Emma closes the door of Ruby's car, with Henry inside, as David and Mary Margaret look on.

Zatanna also waits as Emma instructs Ruby," Keep him safe, Ruby.

Ruby drives off as David whispers to Mary Margaret," Don't push it, Snow."

" I won't." Mary Margaret assures him.

At the same time, Zatanna asks Emma, " Are you sure you are ready to do this?"

Only for Emma to retort," I don't know, are they?"

Mary Margaret then steps forward and she says to Emma," We need to talk. Gold can wait. I can't. You're my daughter. And I wanna talk to you. I know that we have talked. But we didn't know that we were talking. And we talked about things we probably shouldn't have even talked about. One-night stands and the like."

Upon hearing that, David looks at Mary Margaret in shock and he questions out," One-night stands?"

" Whale." Mary Margaret awkwardly answers as David stares at her," Whale?"

" We were cursed. That is neither here nor there." Mary Margaret expresses out before turning back to Emma," The point is, we did not know that we were mother and daughter. And now we do. And, so, please, let's talk."

" Okay. What do you want to talk about?" Emma says.

Mary Margaret then cuts to the chase," We're together, finally. And I can't help but think you're not happy about it."

" Oh, I am. But, see, here's the thing. No matter what the circumstances, for 28 years I only knew one thing, that my parents sent me away." Emma bitterly expresses out as Mary Margaret tries to defend her actions," We did that to give you your best chance."

" You did it for everyone. Because that's who you are. Leaders, heroes, princes and princesses. And that's great and amazing, and wonderful, but it doesn't change the fact that for my entire childhood, I've been alone." Emma states.

Emma pulls Zatanna close to her and she tells her parents," I was lucky Zatara took me in and Zatanna loved me as a sister, and they were more of a family to me that you were."

" But if we hadn't sent you away, you would've been cursed, too." Mary Margaret says only for Emma to retort," But we would've been together. Which curse is worse?"

She pauses before she changes the subject," Come on. Let's just... Let's go find Gold.

She walks off as Zatanna runs after her, assuring her," Hey Emma, come on. It's okay."

As they gaze after her, Mary Margaret and David join hands

The Enchanted Forest, The Woods

Mulan, Prince Phillip, and Princess Aurora journey through the woods on horseback.

Just then, Mulan stops and she says to the pair," We should camp here tonight. The Wraith only appears when light is absent. That's why it ran when it first appeared. Light is its adversary."

" And you want to stop? Now?" Princess Aurora questions out as Mulan explains to her," It's looking for a mark. Something alive. Our best bet is to be still until night passes."

" She's right. We have to rest here." Prince Phillip agrees with Mulan.

The trio dismounts and they began setting up camp.

Prince Phillip fashions a makeshift tent for Princess Aurora and he says," Here. You should sleep."

Princess Aurora however, refuses," No, I-I can't."

" Just relax, it'll come." Prince Phillip says but Princess Aurora once again, refuses," No, I mean I won't sleep. Not after what I just went through."

Prince Phillip pauses, gazing at her. She takes his hand and she asks," What's wrong?"

Prince Phillip remarks out," I just missed you so much."

Princess Aurora smiles back at him," And now you don't have to."

Prince Phillip then says to Princess Aurora,"  I'm going to find wood to build us a fire. I'll be back in five minutes."

He kisses her passionately as Princess Aurora laughs out," That's a see-you-in-five-minutes kiss?"

Prince Phillip chuckles out," I'm making up for lost time. I love you."

" I love you, too." Princess Aurora bids him farewell as Prince Phillip walks away. Once he is out of Princess Aurora's view, a tear runs down his face.

Storybrooke, Gold's Pawns and Antique

In his shop, Mr. Gold is making tea as Emma, Mary Margaret, and David and Zatanna enters his shop.

Mr. Gold looks up and he smiles," What can I do for you?"

" What you can do is tell us what you did." Emma demands and Mr. Gold asks innocently," I'm sorry, you're gonna have to be more specific."

" You know damn well what we're talking about." David adds

Mary Margaret tries to accuse Mr. Gold though not doing a good job at it," You double-crossed Emma, you, uh, took your—uh—potion from her."

" And did who-knows-what to this town." David listed out.

" And worst of all you risked Henry's life." Emma accuses him but Mr. Gold simply states," Well, that is quite a litany of grievances, now, isn't it?"

" Maybe I don't need answers. Maybe I just need to punch you in the face." Emma angrily growls butMr. Gold simply laughs, not intimidated by the young woman," Oh. Really, dearie?"

As he comes from behind the counter, Zatanna puts her hand out, a sphere of magic forms in her hand as she threatens Mr. Gold," You try anything to Emma, Snow and Charming and I promise you things won't end well."

" Well, I see you got your magic back. But calm yourself Miss Zatara, I'm not gonna do anything. Though..." Mr. Gold directs his attention to Emma and he asks," Allow me to answer your questions with some of my own, all right? Did your dear boy, Henry, survive?"

" Yeah." Emma nods, not disagreeing.

" Is the curse broken? And let's see here, Miss Swan, how long have you been searching for your parents? Looks like you're reunited. Seems like rather a punch in the face, I deserve a thank-you." Mr. Gold smiles

" Twist my words all you want, what was the purple haze that you brought?" Emma questions

" You know." With a flourish, Mr. Gold finishes his sentence," Magic."

Mary Margaret asks," Why?"

Mr. Gold however, refuses to answer her question," Not telling."

Just then, there is a rumbling, causing the store to shake

Emma looks around and she asks," What the hell was that?"

David, Zatanna and Mary Margaret look out the door window.

The Wraith is heard, wailing, and a strong wind is blowing along the main street. Streetlights flicker and sparks fly

Zatanna widens her eyes in horror and she exclaims out," Is that a wraith?! What's it doing here in Storybrooke?"

" That is my gift to you. That is gonna take care of Regina." Mr. Good answers.

Realising what is about to happen, Mary Margaret beckons to Emma," Emma, come on!"

" We need to go take care of this." David agrees.

Emma turns to face Mr. Gold and she says to him,
" We're not done."

" Oh, I know. You still owe me a favour." Mr. Gold simply smirks.

The four rushes out of the shop and Mr. Gold returns to making tea.

Just then, Belle emerges, a troubled look on her face and Mr. Gold greets her," Hey."

" You lied to me." Belle bitterly accuses him.

Mr. Gold quickly shakes his head," No, I-I kept my word. (Deliberately) I will not kill her."

" You toy with words like you do people. You're still a man who makes wrong choices." Belle angrily states, causing Mr. Gold to look down as Bell continues," I thought you'd changed."

Mr. Gold scoffs out," What, in the hour you've known me?"

Belle, visibly hurt by what Mr. Gold says, heads for the door, as Mr. Gold tries to call out to her," Belle, I-I-I'm sorry. Belle, I'm sorry."

She pauses, door open, looking back at him as Mr. Gold whispers," I am."

Belle turns to leave, slamming the door behind her

The Enchanted Forest, The camp

Near sunset, Princess Aurora sits in her tent, Mulan strikes a flint, attempting to light a fire. The Wraith is heard wailing. Aurora rises and walks toward Mulan, looking around before asking Mulan," Where's Phillip?"

Mulan looks up and she says to Princess Aurora," I thought he was in your tent."

" He said he was making a fire." Princess Aurora says only for Mulan to tell her," I'm making the fire."

" I can see that." Princess Aurora nods.

Mulan stood up and looking around, noticing the horses are missing before pointing out," He left. The horses are gone."

Confused, Princess Aurora questions out," Why would he leave?"

A dreaded feeling dawns on Mulan as she exclaims out," Because he was marked."

She gathers up her tinderbox and Princess Aurora asks her," What are you doing?"

" Going after him. He's sacrificing himself for you." Mulan states and Princess Aurora protests," No, for both of us! We have to get him!"

" I'm going alone. You'll only slow me down." Mulan brushes her off as Princess Aurora refuses to listen to her," No, I won't slow you... Mulan!" 

Mulan hurries off, ignoring Princess Aurora's shouts," Mulan!  Mulan, wait!"

Princess Aurora grabs her shawl and she hurries after her, realizing that Mulan is gone," Mulan! MULAN!!!"

Storybrooke, Streets

The Wraith flies down the main street, deep in it's hunt for Regina.

Storybrooke Sheriff's Department

In her cell, Regina holds her marked hand and the lights flicker.

Wary, Regina looks around and she calls out," Hello? Who's there?

At that moment, Wraith appears. Regina backs away, horrified as the creature rips into her cell, ready to take on it's prey.

With a gesture of its hand, it begins sucking out Regina's soul. 

Suddenly, David appears with a chair, shouting at the Wraith," Hey!"

He swings the chair at the Wraith, sending it flying across the room. As it flew, David attempts to attack the creature only for it to swing it's arm out, sending David flying with one hit.

Mary Margaret saw what happens and she rushes only, only for the Wraith moves a desk, making her step back. 

The creature then sends the desk toward David, who narrowly avoids it, then continues to suck out Regina's soul. 

At that moment, Zatanna rushes in and she chants," Emalf!" 

A blast of fire struck the Wraith as it releases Regina and goes towards Zatanna.

Zatanna launches a blast of magic, warding it back before she chants out," Maercs cinos!" 

Zatanna opens her mouth, emitting a loud sonic wave from her mouth, causing massive amount of pain to the Wraith.

The wraith then flies out the window, releasing it's grip of Regina as she makes choking noises

 Emma rushes in to help her as Zatanna asks," Did I..."

" Kill it? No. It's regenerating." Regina explains as she continues," It'll be back. It doesn't stop until it devours its prey."

She shows her marked hand, finishing her sentence," Me."

Zatanna then says to Regina," I know that thing is another Wraith similar to the one my father fought in China back before I was born. It was one of his most dangerous opponents he faced."

" So, how do we kill it?" Emma asks only for Regina to answer," There's no way. Can't kill something that's already dead."

" Then we have a problem." Emma says only for David to disagree, " No, we don't. Regina does."

" What?" Regina stares at David, appalled by what he said.

Mary Margaret looks at her husband," David?"

" You wanna let her die?" Emma questioned her father's moral predicament as David coldly shrugs," Why not? Then it goes away. Then we're safe."

" It's quite the example you're setting for your daughter, there." Regina reprimands David's lack of empathy for her situation only for David to angrily retort," No. You don't get to judge us!"

Regina then tells David," Let me ask you something, where do you think that thing came from? Gold."

Before David could argue on, Emma steps in and she tells David," I made a promise to Henry. She's not dying."

Regina looks shocked by what Emma says as Mary Margaret then asks," If it can't be killed, what do you suggest?"

Zatanna then answers," I remembered my father did told me about the battle. He couldn't kill it but he can send the Wraith to a place it can never hurt anyone."

Regina nods," She's right. And I know just the place."

Soon

At the Town hall, in Regina's office, Regina sets the box containing on a table and opens it as Emma and Zatanna looks on.

Regina then asks Emma," Did Henry really ask you to protect me?"

" Yes." Emma nods. Regina smiles slightly and takes the hat out of its box as Zatanna notices it and she gasps," The hat. You had it all along."

Regina asks," What do you mean?"

" That's Jefferson's hat." Emma pointss out but Regina pauses before lying,

" Who's ?"

At that moment, David and Mary Margaret enters, both carrying brooms as David says,

" Torches. For when it comes back. I know it's old-fashioned, but so am I."

Mary Margaret then asks Regina," So, how does it work?"

The group entering the main hall as Regina carries the hat, explaining to them," It will open a portal to our land. All we have to do is send the Wraith in there."

" Oh, yeah, just that." David says. Zatanna then offers her help to David," Come on David. Let me help you."

As David and Zatanna began lighting the brooms, Mary Margaret asks Regina," I don't understand, I thought our land was gone."

" It is. But sending it to a place that no longer exists... Well, that's banishing it to oblivion." Regina tells her.

She begins to attempt to spin the hat; the lights flicker and the Wraith's wailing is heard

" Regina..." Emma says to her urgently, realizing the Wraith is getting closer as Regina is still attempting to spin the hat, telling her," I'm trying."

The wailing is heard; the doors to the main hall blow open and the scene cuts to black

The Enchanted Forest, Woods

Back in the woods, Mulan, holding a torch, examines tracks on the ground when a sound is heard. She reflexes draws her sword, pointing it toward the sound for it to be revealed to be Princess Aurora approaching on horseback.

" I found one of the horses. I'm coming with you." Princess Aurora states as she dismounts from her horse.

Mulan sheathes her sword and she says to Princess Aurora," You need to stay here. It's dangerous."

Princess Aurora however, refuses to heed Mulan's warning," I wasn't asking for your permission."

Mulan stares at Princess Aurora and she says to her, " That thing out there is dangerous. And Phillip? He left to protect you. So even if I don't believe in his methods, I'm gonna honour his wishes. I'm gonna keep you safe."

" I never asked him to." Princess Aurora states but Mulan says to her," You never had to. Everything he does, he does for you. And now he's gonna die for you. Love is sacrifice. Something you clearly don't understand.

As she turns away, Princess Aurora steps up, not willing to let Mulan go in alone," I'm not gonna let him face that alone."

" He won't. But with all due respect, Your Highness, Phillip's best chance is me." Mulan states strongly only for Princess Aurora to simply conclude," You love him."

" What?" Mulan stares at Princess Aurora in shock as she repeats," Phillip. You love him, too."

Mulan brushes off Princess Aurora's accusation," I owe him much. We fought many battles together, side by side. Nothing more."

" Deny it all you want, I know love when I see it." Princess Aurora says and Mulan argues," You're wrong."

The wailing is heard again and Princess Aurora gasp," Phillip..."

Storybrooke, Town hall

The Wraith enters the main hall, hovering upwards as David readies himself to fight it with a torch on one side of a railing

Regina continues to attempt to spin the hat with Emma and Mary Margaret on the other side.

David and Mary Margaret swings the torches at The Wraith while Zatanna opens her hands, launching a stream of fire at the Wraith.

Though the attack is holding the Wraith back, it does little to slow it down.

Emma realizes it and she turns to Regina with a worried look," Regina."

" I know." Regina nods as she struggles to spin the hat.

Meanwhile, Zatanna thrusts her arms out, launching several magic blasts at the Wraith while David flanks her side by swinging the torch.

While Zatanna and David are fending off the Wraith, Mary Margaret pours alcohol along the railing before shouting to the two," David! Zatanna!"

David closes the gate of the railing and sets it alight with his torch before shouting to Regina,
" Hurry!"

" It's not working." Regina shouts back as Zatanna curses out," Oh you got to be kidding me!"

Zatanna moves Mary Margaret back up while David continues to slash at the wraith with his torch

The Enchanted Forest, The Woods

 Meanwhile, Prince Phillip stood alone, slashing a torch about as he screams out to the Wraith," Come on, you bastard!"

He looks about, seeing Princess Aurora and Mulan ride up and he shouts to the two women," No! Stay back!"

"Phillip! What are you doing?" Princess Aurora questions out and Prince Phillip assures her," You know what I'm doing."

Princess Aurora refuses to leave," No, please. We can help you fight!"

" Go! It will find me." Prince Phillip urges Princess Aurora and Mulan to leave just as the sound of the Wraith's wailing is heard.

Prince Phillip turns, showing the women his hand as he explains," I've been marked. It's too late for me. Go, there's no other way."

" Yes, there is. Give me the talisman, I can mark myself. You can live." Mulan begs but Prince Phillip refuses her offer," This is my choice. To save you. To save both of you."

Princess Aurora refuses to abandon him," No, Phillip, I don't wanna live without you."

Prince Phillip could only agree sadly," Neither do I."

The Wraith approaches from above ready to take Prince Phillip's soul and he instructs the two women," You two need to keep each other safe."

Princess Aurora screams," Phillip, no!"

The Wraith hovers above the Prince as he turns his head slightly, saying to Princess Aurora," I love you."

He throws down his torch. With a gesture, the Wraith sucks out his soul as Princess Aurora and Mulan screams behind him. 

Within seconds, Prince Phillip falls to the ground, lifeless, and the Wraith is sucked back into its amulet. 

With the Wraith gone, the women kneel over Prince Phillip's lifeless body, with Princess Aurora sobbing out.

Storybrooke, Town hall

Back in the town hall, Zatanna uses her magic to conjure a sphere, trapping the wraith inside to buy Regina more time.

Zatanna grits her teeth, tensing her muscle as she felt the shield cracking, the Wraith breaking itself free from it's magical prison as she says to Regina," Anytime now Regina!"

Regina attempts to spin the hat again to no effect, shouting out in frustration," It's not working!"

" What is the problem?" Emma comes up to her, asking as Regina explains to her," Magic. It's different here."

David and Mary Margaret notices the Wraith breaking itself out of Zatanna's magical shield and he urges Regina," Now would be the time!"

Emma touches Regina's arm and at that moment, the hat began spinning, opening a portal on the ground.

" Now sis!" Emma shouts as she moves Regina out of the way as Zatanna thrusts her arms out, releasing the sphere as she throws the Wraith into the portal.

The Wraith began getting sucked into the portal, but as it disappears, it grabs Emma's ankle and pulls her in too

Mary Margaret, David and Zatanna watches in horror and all three shouts in unison," NOOOO!"

Zatanna jumps in, screaming to Emma," Hang on Emma! I'm coming!"

As Zatanna disappears into the portal, Mary Margaret declares out," I'm not losing her again!"

" Neither am I." David agrees as the two rushes after the women.

 Mary Margaret jumps into the portal. 

David attempts to follow, however, the portal closes before he could enter after his wife, causing him to fall on top of the hat.

The Enchanted Forest, Aurora's Palace. 

Back in Aurora's Palace, Prince Phillip is laying in state on the bier Aurora slumbered on.

Princess Aurora and Mulan gaze at him as Princess Aurora says to Mulan," This palace was to be our home. We were to spend eternity here."

" How did you end up here in your cursed state?" Mulan questions out as Princess Aurora says to her," You're not the only one who knows about sacrifice.

Mulan then withdrew the Wraith's amulet, she places it in a satchel and hands it to Aurora, saying," You should have it."

Princess Aurora takes the amulet and she smiles at Mulan, thanking her," Thank you."

Storybrooke, Town hall

David gets up from the floor, looking down at the hat which was crushed under his weight from his failed attempt to go after the women.

Regina stands shocked as he confronts her, questioning out," No. Where are they?"

" I have no idea." Regina denies it and David approaches her in a hostile tone," Are they dead?"

" The curse, it destroyed all the lands..." Regina wasn't given a chance to explain as David repeats his question albeit loudly," ARE THEY DEAD!?"

" I don't know!" Regina shouts back at David.

Angry, David steps towards Regina, growling," I should've killed you myself!"

" Well, then, what's stopping you?" Regina challenges as she shoves him back.

She then uses her now regained magic to lift David up before slamming him against the wall, her magic summoning vines from the wallpaper hold him in place just off the ground, choking him.

Regina cackles out as she gloat over the helpless former prince, " You think you're some heroic Prince? Please. You're nothing but the son of a shepherd. I should've killed you when I could. And now... Now I can." 

However, before Regina could finish David off, at that moment, Henry and Ruby enters and upon seeing what is happening, Henry questions out in horror," Mom?"

Regina turns to look at Henry and she questions out," Henry, what are you doing here?"

" What are you doing?" Henry questions out, horrified at the sight of his mother attempting to kill his grandfather.

Regina turn her attention away from David, walking towards Henry as she assures him," It's okay. You're safe now."

Regina releases her spell, causing the vines to release their grip over David and he falls to the floor.

As Ruby rushes over to aid him, Henry notices that Mary Margaret, Emma and Zatanna are missing and he questions Regina," Wh—where's my mom? Where's Aunt Zatanna? Wh..."

Before Henry could as about Mary Margaret, Regina interrupts him honestly,"...They're gone. They fell through a portal. They're... Henry, I'm sorry."

Henry however, isn't convinced by Regina's apology and he spat out angrily," No, you're not. You really are the Evil Queen. I don't wanna see you again."

Shocked at what he says, Regina shakes her head as tears brims in her eyes," No, don't say that. I love you."

" Then, prove it. Get Emma and Mary Margaret back. And until then, leave me, leave everyone alone." Henry states, causing Regina to look at him and she ask," Where will you go?"

Having recovered from the attack, David stood next to Henry and he answers Regina's question,"  With me."

He exits with Henry, followed closely by Ruby, leaving Regina alone

Mr. Gold Pawnbroker & Antiquities Dealer

Back in the shop, Mr. Gold is absently spinning wool at his in the back of the shop, going back to his old habits when Belle enters," Hi."

Mr. Gold simply greets back," Hey."

Belle approaches him and she says," I, uh, went for a long walk."

" I thought you didn't wanna see me." Mr. Gold states and Belle says to him," I didn't. But I was worried."

Mr. Gold sighs out and he tells Belle about the situation with the Wraith and Regina," Well, the beast is gone. Regina lives."

" So, uh, you didn't get what you wanted?" Belle asks and Mr. Gold optimistically says," Well, that remains to be seen."

At that moment, Belle notices the teacup behind him and picks it up, recognizing the chipped part of the teacup and she asks him," You uh.. you still have it? My chipped cup."

Mr. Gold then stops spinning, taking the cup from her and he says to her honestly," There are many, many, things in this shop. But this... This is the only thing I truly cherish. And now you must leave."

Belle looks at him," What?"

" You must leave, because despite what you hope, I'm still a monster." Mr. Gold says but Belle however, refuses to give up on Mr. Gold and she takes his shoulders, stating to him encouragingly," Don't you see? That's exactly the reason I have to stay."

The Blanchard Loft.

Henry and David enters the Blanchard loft, the apartment looking much emptier without Zatanna, Emma or Mary Margaret around.

Henry crosses the room and gazes at a photo of the three women sitting on the counter.

David notices the way Henry is acting and he says," Henry?"

" Yeah?" Henry looks at him as David assures him," Don't worry. Emma, Mary Margaret and Zatanna, they're alive."

Henry looks at him and he asks David," How do you know?"

David simply answers," I have faith."

" But?" Henry questions out and David ushers him forward," Henry, come here."

Kneeling in front of him, David assures the boy," I will find them. I will always find them."

The Enchanted Forest, Aurora's Castle

Princess Aurora, has her head on his chest, mourns Prince Phillip silently as Mulan states to her," We should leave this place. It's not safe here."

Princess Aurora looks at Mulan, saying to her," But the Wraith is gone."

" There's more. You need to know everything" Mulan pauses as she says to Princess Aurora," Much has changed in our land since you've been asleep."

" It was less than a year." Princess Aurora says and Mulan explains,

" In a manner of speaking. You see, as you slept, and Phillip and I searched for you, something worse happened."

" What?" Princess Aurora questions and Mulan replies by name dropping a familiar figure," Are you familiar with Regina, the Queen?"

Princess Aurora nods," Yes."

Mulan then explains," She cast a curse on this land. A terrible, terrible curse. It ripped everyone away to another world."

" But we're still here." Princess Aurora points out and Mulan explains further," This corner of the land was untouched. No one knows why. But something saved us. And for 28 years we were frozen. And then, time started again. The terrible curse's power was weakened. Phillip and I were able to resume our search. We found you. But the land is ravaged with dangers more fearsome than you can imagine. For those of us who remained, we found a safe haven. We must go there now."

Just then, a rustling sound could be heard.

Mulan and Princess Aurora approach the hole left by the Wraith and Mulan warns Princess Aurora cautiously," Something's in there. Stay back."

" What did it bring? What is it? What do you see?" Princess Aurora asks.

Mulan lifts up a piece of the rubble, the two women stare at what is lying beneathas Princess Aurora questions Mulan, " Mulan, what is that?"

"That? That is what brought the Wraith here. That's what killed our Prince." Mulan angrily states as the two women looks down at the unconscious Emma and Mary Margaret lying in the rubble

 Emma is moving as if to awaken.
