I was in bed crying my eyes out and after Mom came in to talk to me. Father came in and boy does he look mad.
He walk in and close the behind him. Father went to sit on the edge of the bed giving me the look. Its means he is about to scold me.
I sat up and mumble, " yes Father?"
"Maxon, your mother came in to tell me what happen with the mayor and you incident? Do you want to talk about it?" Father asked gently.
"NO! AND GET OUT!" I yelled and bury my face in my pillows and cry until I can't stand it anymore.
"Maxon Calix Schreave, that no way you speak to the King Of Illea!"
"Just go away," I whispered and close my eyes.
I waited a few minutes to see he is gone and he was. Good, because I don't want anything to do with my demanding and overprotective father.
And anyways I'm 16. I was just having some fun. He made a big deal out of it. I just don't want to grow up yet and I want to take my time.
