Well to get started let's start thinking like Anakin. How would you feel if your master that had trained you for 10 years cut your legs off but decided he was going to save your life. Well, I don't know about you but I would be feeling a roller coaster of different emotions. I would be grateful he didn't leave me to die but disgusted he cut off my legs. In as few words as possible, I would say he would be in serious shock. The next thing on the plate to feel bad about is I don't know maybe FORCE CHOCKING YOUR WIFE! Yeah, that would be a big problem. I would expect he would be going through a lot of grief and would be in a deteriorating mental state for the next couple of months. Oh yeah and also forget about the rank of Jedi knight, you know what, what was I thinking. He would be expelled from the whole Jedi order maybe even sentenced to death. Huh, that kind of make the whole not killing Anakin thing kind of useless.
