Ep1: Due to the many missions together, Nya and Jay have pretty healthy relationship, as good as canon season 7, they been dating ever since the Overlord fight. So the love triangle isn't here, so Kai would go with Ninja while Nya goes to the students, the Perfect Match shows Jay instead of Cole. When the Ninja get the new suits, since Nya isn't there, Jay says "Something remind me to give this to Nya." Then Kai says "I'll hold on to it til we meet up with her." 

EP3: No love triangle, that's kinda it.

I just realized something, not a lot changes this season. so uh, not a lot changes. besides from removing some lines.
