A year later...

Katelyn's POV

It was a beautiful afternoon. The birds were chirping, the breeze was refreshing to feel, and the sky had a mixture of bright colors.

The love of my life and I watched our children played around while sitting on a bench.

"Katelyn?"

"Yeah?"

I turned my head to face him. I was looking into his beautiful pair of emerald eyes while he looked into my icy blue ones.

"I'm just...so happy." He smiled.

"Happy? About what?"

"That I got to be with you. That I'm able to live this amazing life with you and our children."

"Aren't you being a little bit cheesy here?"

"I know, but seeing our children playing around...it just came to the question to how I became so lucky to meet you and fall in love with you."

"I feel the same way honestly. Even if it took a while for me to realize my love for you, I just wish I could've noticed it sooner."

"Its not your fault. You never felt the same way back then and I understand, what matters now is that we're together."

"Of course." I smiled at him

He then started to look a bit nervous.

"Are you okay?" I asked him

"Yeah I'm fine.. its just.."

He slowly stood up and nervously smiled at me.

I raised a brow in confusion as he held my hand.

"Katelyn, you're the most amazing person I've ever met in my entire life. I want you to know that I love you with all of my heart. No matter what happens, I'll always be here for you no matter what. Katelyn..."

"Yeah?"

"I just have one thing to tell you..well more like ask you.."

"What is it?"

Before he could even say anything, a flash of light blinded my eyes as I woke up by the sound of my alarm. I tiredly sat up as I stretched my arms out and yawned.

Oh..it was just a dream. Although..there was something off about it.

The guy..he was...someone I love...and he had green eyes so it was obviously Jeffory. But what was he about to do? Ugh stupid alarm from a ruining a good dream. Welp, maybe soon I'll f9ind out.

I noticed that Jeffory was not in bed with me. Hmm, maybe he's downstairs.

I got out of bed and fixed my hair before heading downstairs.

As I went down, I was greeted by an amazing scent cooked by Jeffory.

"Good morning hun." He greeted.

"Good morning." I greeted him back.

He handed me a plate of eggs and bacon with toast.

"Aww thanks sweetie."

"Your welcome dear." He smiled.

We both ate breakfast together as we talked. He then was able to bring up another subject, off from our last topic from what we were talking about.

"Oh by the way, did you know Travis' little sister is moving in to the neighborhood?" He asked.

(YES I MADE TRAVIS HAVE A SISTER XD)

"Really? I didn't know," I then gasped in realization. "Maybe we'll see Travis."

"Oh yeah, he hasn't really come out of his house for a long time honestly."

Yep its true. Travis has never came out of his house normally as he would before. It honestly worries me a lot cause him not going out that much started few weeks after the wedding.

"Hmm..if you want, we can go welcome his sister and be able to see Travis."

"Really? You sure you won't be jealous or anything." I smirked at him.

He chuckled, "I'm sure I won't."

"Welp okay then."

We both continued to eat our breakfast and soon we washed the dishes before we head to the address of Travis' little sister. I honestly don't even know the name of his sister, but might as well use this time to get to know her better..and to see Travis again.

Travis does actually go out sometimes but only if its important like grocery shopping or laundry day and those kinds of stuff. If he ever sees us on those kinds of days, he would always avoid us especially me. 

Jeffory and I walked to the address and soon saw a truck parked in front of a house, thats when I saw a familiar face. He had white hair and vibrant green eyes.

Travis.

He was helping a girl move boxes who also had the same hair color and eye color as his. That must be his sister.

"Hey guys!" I greeted them as we walked towards the Valkrum siblings.

Travis instantly turned his head to face us and soon started to look a bit nervous. He just hung his head down and didn't say anything or greeted me back.

His sister seems to notice this as she elbowed her brother. Travis looked annoyed and just stayed silent.

"O-kay then..Well, you must be Travis' sister. Umm.." Jeffory awkwardly said.

"My name is Trisha."She smiled.

"Hi Trisha. My name is Katelyn and this is my husband Jeffory." I said as I introduced himself and I to Trisha.

"Husband? As in married? Bro, you didn't tell me your crush got married." She pouted at her brother.

"I did. I sent a message to you last year. You just blocked me." He crossed his arms.

"No I didn- Oh..umm nevermind." She giggled nervously as his brother chuckled.

Its been a while that I saw him smile. The last time I saw him smile was at my wedding, but after that,  all I saw in his face was pure sorrow. He's probably still down over the fact that I got married with someone else other than him.

"Anyways, I need help in moving these boxes. The furniture has already been moved so its just some few other things. Wanna help?" Trisha asked.

"Sure." Jeffory answered as I nodded.

"Great!" Trisha smiled. Travis also smiled but I can tell it was fake. He wasn't happy over the fact that Jeffory and I were gonna help.

While we were walking towards the truck to get more things to move in, I was able to walk up to Travis' side.

"Hey dork."

"....."

"Come on, can you please just say a simple hi?"

"...."

"Please??"

"....."

"Fine..but just so you know..I miss you." I smiled at him.

He soon started to smile back and I felt so happy to see him smile. Now I just need him to get to talk us more.

We all soon were able to move half of the other boxes in her house.

I was trying to make some conversation with Travis but he keeps being silent. The only person he talks to is his sister.

Oh well, I'll just have to try harder. While we were moving more boxes, Travis then soon started to walk out of the house.

"Hey, where are you going big bro?" Trisha questioned before Travis could even hold the knob.

"Oh..umm..I just thought that since you know..Jeffory and Katelyn are here..might as well..leave..?" He nervously chuckled and I can tell it was a lie.

"Come on Travis, can't you atleast stay for a bit? I begged him.

"I-uhh.." That was all he can make up.

I frowned by the thought that he's gonna avoid us again.

"If you need to go..then..you can go now." I fake smiled.

"O-Oh okay then..see ya-" He was about to turn the knob until Jeffory stopped him.

"No." Jeffory said.

"Huh?" The three of us said in unison as we were comfused.

"Travis...you have no idea how much of us are worried about you. If this is about the weddi-"

"It isn't about that!!" Travis cut him off.

We stayed silent.

"Right...my point is...please...just hang out with Katelyn for once."

Wha-

"I-I can't...I-"

"Travis..please...Katelyn is one of your best friends...just hang out with her for one day..please?"

Travis looked at me and I made sure he can see the pleading in my own eyes.

Travis then sighed in defeat, "Okay...I'll do it."

I beamed up as I ran towards Travis and hugged him tight.

"Thank you thank you thank you Travis!!!!"

He chuckled, "No problem Katelyn."
