Whatever screams of pain he was about to yell was gone from my thoughts as I drew all of my anger into lunging off his foot right above the half court line, and shot the ball with as much power and aim I could muster in my arms to get inside as I landed on the ground. From behind, I could hear his shot bounce off the rim, guessing it was going to fall in the rim. I just gave up as more roaring cheers quickly came, but as I looked up, my ball fell straight into the basket.

Wait, hold on, I made it?! When I looked back Siyron caught his ball from underneath the basket. They won, and I was too late. Sydney and Abigail came over to me but I wasn't in the mood. I just lost all energy and kneeled to the floor, just read to be done with the day.

"The girls win!"

Wait what?! I...have no words. I looked back at Jace, whose face was just as stunned as mine. The dreadful look on his face made it seem like he was to snap, and his face was sweating. I kept my eye on him as the coach actually called him out since he didn't cross the line to join the line. Evan and Siyron's face weren't exactly pleased, but Sydney and Abigail lifted me up from the air. Heck the girls were cheering me on.

"We actually won one of these stupid challenges."

"Sydney, you're just lazy. Siya, that was awesome!"

Evan grabbed Jace by the collar, but Siyron ignored them and walked over to us.

"Siya, that was an awesome shot. There's no way I could've made it from that far. How'd you pull it off?"

That lit up my heart. "Oh um thanks, I mean I just wanted to impress y-", wait what am I saying? "I mean I wanted to win since you guys always beat us." My cheeks were burning. "You thought it was cool?"

"Duh, I know you're awesome." His smile was so warm and earnest.

"R-really?" I didn't notice it but my hands were covering my blush. "Thanks."

"Yeah, no sweat." He promised to sit with me before walking back as the girls carried me over to the bleachers in celebration.

So this is what it feels like to be Freddie. Wait, am I Freddie? Okay why did they only date once? Wait, is he the Carly in this scenario? Wait is Abigail the Sam I want but I probably don't need? Sorry, I just really love iCarly. It's so cool having a show based on where you live.

Jace and Evan were still bickering. And then I remembered something. Vampires can't be seen in their own reflection. As I hopped off the girls, I pretended. I was taking a selfie while aiming it at Jace. I took the photo, and as the flash hit, two batches of yells howled in front of me. When I looked at the photo, only Evan was in there. When I moved it aside, Evan's body crashed on the floor.

"Don't threaten me."

For a split second I witnessed the bloodshed in Jace's eyes before smiling away casually like nothing happened. The coach came over and Jace just made some excuse that Evan kept nagging him about the win. While I didn't know the game that well and his crowd kinda shunned me for some reason, he didn't deserve a hit that hard. The boys kinda mocked him but Evan looked like he was on the verge of death. A heard a few of the girls on the other side of the bleachers claiming how strong and masculine he was but Siyron was looking at them with the same concern I was.

And this guy is interested in me? I can't let Siyron get hurt by this vampire freak.

I don't know if I lit a fire under our buttocks, but afterwards, the girls won three out of five rounds with a score of 32 to the guys 31. The guys looked extremely pissed but some of them were impressed. I even found a few of them staring at me. The attention was freaking awesome for the most part, and I just put up a cutest smile just to hide it. I quickly began changing and left once I had on my regular clothes to go to lunch. My stomach moaned a bit. Being 5'2 isn't a problem and my stomach could be a bit round but I dance around a lot in my room so I kinda lose it pretty quickly. And again, gym is the only class I enjoy besides maybe history so when the guys aren't hogging up the entire gym, I find some space to move around. And with my speed, maybe I could finally be able to reach the lunchroom and get a table for me and Siyron. Today could get even better.

"So you're name's Siya huh."

Never mind. Jace suddenly appeared right next to me. His amber eyes freaked me out

"And my day is already ruined yet again." I tried to move away but his arms wrapped around mine. I tried to push him aside but his forearms were like a bison.

"Why are you stalking me?"

"Why did you try to take a picture of me?"

"I was trying to take a selfie, I don't need your permission."

"I don't like pictures." Okay, whatever. Play it cool, Siya. Figure it out.

"What, you'll bite?" I noticed we were walking much slower and his grip was getting harder.

"Perhaps." Yup, the signs are all there.

"Why are you obsessed with me?"

"There aren't many girls like you."

"We're in Seattle, dummy. Um sorry. Look, I'm eating with someone."

"So you do have a boyfriend? Is the my teammate from class?"

"What, no!" Damnit, I mean he's wrong, technically, urgh, I wanted to keep him out of this. I don't even want to be in this.

Another classmate, most likely an upperclassman, walked up to us. I tried to gesture my eyes to tell her that this guy was bad news, but she glomped onto him, which got him to lose his grip on me.
