One of the worst Overwatch characters for combat: dependent on her teammates for self defense.

Guardian Angel only works if she has a teammate to lock onto.

Self Healing is interrupted if Mercy takes damage.

Cannot revive someone who has been dead for more than 45 seconds (according to Uprising event).

Cannot revive herself.

Syringe Guns:

Stock: Air-powered gun that shoots syringes at rapid fire

Blutsauger: Drains health on hit, but decreases healing factor

Overdose: Increases running speed by 2% every 10% of Über gained, but deals less damage

Crusader's Crossbow: Shoots large single-shot syringes that heal teammates and hurt enemies

Medi-Guns:

Stock: Heals team to build Übercharge, Übercharge grants invincibility for short period of time. This can work on the Medic even if he's alone

Kritzkrieg: Faster Übercharge build-up, Übercharge grants crits on whoever is being charged. This is normally paired with the Soldier's rockets; making his attacks instakills for most classes. However these crits do not affect Engineer buildings.

Quick-Fix: Prototype Medi-gun, heals quicker and charges quicker, Übercharge grants rapid healing. Allows Medic to mirror sticky/rocket jumping and charges when healing Soldiers/Demomen.

Vaccinator: Übercharge grants shield protecting from certain enemy fire of choice (fire/bullets/rockets) and immunity to crits. Can stack up four mini-charges that last 2 seconds each. When not charged, Über is gained from resistance type of choice.

Bone Saws:

Stock: A large surgical bone saw

Vita-Saw: Restores up to 25% Übercharge built up from last spawn

Übersaw: 25% Übercharge granted on hit

Amputator: Grants healing aura to all teammates and himself via taunt. Increases self-heal rate

Solemn Vow: Bust of Hippocrates, allows Medic to see an enemy's health

Not built to face threats alone; although Battle-Medics do exist

Syringe guns have low damage and short range

Healing factor is slow and requires him to leave combat for a period of time (healing rate can be increased when using Amputator)

The Vaccinator is ineffective against melee damage

The Kritzkrieg offers no immunity or damage negation on Übercharge.

Can be separated from his teammate; even if ubercharged 

Unstable psyche, unsympathetic to his own patients. His medical experiments are unethical and dangerous.

Lost his medical license by stealing his patient's skeleton.

Destroyed the hearts of multiple patients in attempts to create the Ubercharge.

Got his pigeon Archimedes stuck in Scout's torso.

Avoids or forgets to use anesthetics on his patients.

Has the Blue Spy's decapitated head inside his fridge. Medic keeps it alive with a life support device and most likely experiments on it.

In an abandoned warehouse, Mercy peers out of her hiding spot, her eyes shifting back and forth waringly.

Mercy: Coast clear!

Mercy slowly lifts herself off her hiding spot and she flew across the floor, flying out of the warehouse.

Mercy: Great. Went on a suicide mission and I'm just the only survivor. Wonderful Angela, wonderful!

Mercy sarcastically criticizes herself, holding up her Cedeceus Blaster in the process.

Not far away

3 buildings away from Mercy, a figure peers out of a barrel before jumping out, landing foot first onto the ground.

Thud!

Medic adjusts his glasses and he holds up his syringe gun, cursing to himself.

Medic: Godammit! I told both Heavy and Scout not to go out there and look what happened!  I'm not sure whether the others are alive or not but once I find them, oh ho, there will be trouble.

Medic races across the land, unaware of a presence right across him.

Just as Medic turns the corner, all of a sudden, he found himself staring at a tall Swedish woman cladded in an Angelic armour.

Medic: WAHHHHHH!!!!

Mercy: AAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

Both Mercy and Medic screams out in shock and the two slides back to their side of the building, panting in shock.

Realizing the reality of their situation, both Mercy and Medic launches themselves outwards and the two opens fire right at each other.

BANG!!! BANG!!! BANG!!!

Bullets and syringes rains onto the floor as both Mercy and Medic races across the battlefield, shooting at each other.

Mercy points her blaster and she opens fire at him.

BANG!!!

Medic ducks underneath the attack and he points his syringe gun at Mercy, firing right at her.

BANG!!! BANG!!! BANG!!!

WHOOSH!!!

Mercy launches herself up into the air, dodging the attack.

Medic: Goddamit!

Medic curses out and he races across the ground, dodging just as Mercy opens fire at him.

BANG!!! BANG!!! BANG!!!

Medic slides behind a barrel, ducking down before pulling out a bone saw.

However, without warning, Mercy swoops down from the air, flying right towards him.

WHOOSH!!!

Medic confidently turns around and he shouts in a challenging tone.

Medic: Come on! I'm ready for you!

BAM!!!

Mercy slams shoulder first into Medic, sending him flying backwards.

Medic looks down and he throws a punch, striking Mercy in the face.

WHAM!!!

Mercy: ARGHHHHHH!!!

Mercy screams out in agony.

WHAM!!!

Medic threw up his knee, striking Mercy right in the stomach before swinging his bone saw across her body.

SLASH!!!

Mercy: ARGHHHHHH!!!!

Mercy screams out in agony as she staggers back from the attack.

Medic points his syringe gun and he presses onto the trigger, opening fire at her.

BANG!!!

Shok!

Mercy: Ngn!

Mercy grunts out in pain and she points her Cecedeus Blaster at him, opening fire at the Medic.

BANG!!!

Medic: ARGHHHHH!!!

Medic screams out in agony as the blast shot him right in the shoulder.

WHOOSH!!!

Mercy swoops downwards, flying towards Medic.

Medic clenches his fist and he ducks to the side, dodging Mercy's attack.

Without warning, Mercy felt something wrap around her ankle.

Grip!

Mercy: Wha?

Medic looks at her, her ankle deep in his hand and he smirks before throwing his arm forward.

Mercy: WHOOAAA!!!

Mercy screams out in horror before feeling her body slamming right into the ground.

BAM!!!!

Medic threw a kick, striking right into Mercy.

WHAM!!!

Mercy: ARGHHHHH!!!

Click!

Medic reloads his Syringe Gun and he points it at Mercy, declaring out.

Medic: I am ze Übermensch!

However, Mercy threw her staff outwards, striking Medic right in the chest.

WHUM!!!

Medic: ARGHHHHH!!!

Mercy: Disappointing.

Mercy quickly pushes herself up, picking up her blaster just as Medic staggers backwards.

Mercy points her blaster at Medic and she sneers, saying.

Mercy: This does not look good for you!

However, before Mercy could even open fire, Medic whips out his  Vaccinator, opening fire onto the ground.

BANG!!!

WHOOM!!!

Almost instantly, a shield forms around the Medic, shielding him from the attack.

Mercy: What?!

SCHHH!!!

Medic felt his wounds heal and he lunges forward, slamming his shoulder right into Mercy.

WHAM!!!

Mercy: ARGHHHHH!!!!

Mercy glares at him and she swings her staff across, striking Medic in the cheek.

WHAM!!!

Medic pulls out his bone saw and he swung forward, only for Mercy to raise her staff up, blocking the attack.

CLANG!!!

Medic growls and he swings it again, only for Mercy to spin her staff across, knocking the Bone Saw out of his hand.

CLAK!!!

Medic: Ow!

Mercy pulls back her staff and she shoves it outwards, striking Medic right in the chest.

POK!!!

Medic: Ngn!

Mercy points her staff at Medic and she clenches it, sending a yellow blast of energy flying towards him.

PIU!!!

Medic: Wha?!

Medic quickly jumps to the side, dodging the attack before sprinting forward.

WHOOSH!!!

Mercy narrows her eyes as she dives forward, flying towards Medic.

Medic pulls out his Stock and he activates it.

WHUM!!!

Right at that moment.....

BAM!!!

Both Mercy and Medic threw a punch, striking each other right in the cheek.

Mercy swings her blaster across, striking Medic square in the face.

WHAM!!!

Medic slams his forehead downwards, striking Mercy right in her head.

BAM!!!

As Mercy winces in pain, Medic pulls out his Crusader's Crossbow and he points it at her, opening fire.

BANG!!!

A long syringe flew across the air, flying right into Mercy's throat.

SHOK!!!

Mercy: ARGHHHHHH!!!!

Mercy screams out in agony as Medic taunts her.

Medic: Can you feel ze Schadenfreude?

Medic then pulls out his Kritzkrieg and he swings it across Mercy's face.

WHAM!!!

Mercy: Ngn!

Medic pulls out several syringes and he slams them right into Mercy's back, stabbing them right through her armour.

SHOK!!!

Mercy: ARGHHHHHHHH!!!!

Medic: Come over here. I promise I will heal you!

Medic points his Kritzkrieg at Mercy, causing Mercy to curse out.

Mercy: Oh shit!

BANG!!!

A loud explosion booms across the entire area, silencing all other sources of sound.

Plop!

Mercy's body falls plop onto the ground, her upper body completely blown off.

Medic smirks and he walks away, spitting.

Medic: Auf wiedersehen, Dummkopf!
