 A pendant created by the first Sorcerer Supreme Agamotto from the Time Stone that can manipulate time in the user's immediate vicinity and on specific areas or targets. This ranges from reversing or accelerating the flow of time to created a time loop that only the user can end. The Eye can also be used by its user to negate dark magic, see through illusions, or track ethereal and corporeal beings by their psychic or magical emissions.

Cloak of Levitation

A semi-sentient cape belongs to the holder of the title Sorcerer Supreme. While the cloak enables the wearer to fly, it can travel at subsonic speeds, able to resist damage from attacks of physical, elemental or spiritual nature, alter its shape to mimic other garments or function as an extra limb.

Sling Ring

A mystical object which enables the wearer to open a fiery portal to another location within the multiverse.

Axe of Angarruumus

A magical relic that Strange can use as a conduit of his magical power.

Book of the Vishanti

 A tome that contains knowledge of white magic created by Agamotto and his fellow Vishanti.

He is acknowledged by the nigh-omnipotent Dormammu as a worthy opponent.

Once trapped Dormammu in an inescapable time loop, though he died numerous times before the evil being finally relented.

Nabu the Wise is a supernatural entity known a Lord of Order. Residing in the Helmet of Fate, his anchor to the Earthy plane, Nabu require a host body to have a presence on the physical plane. In 1920, archaeologist Sven Nelson and his son Kent go on an expedition of a temple in the Valley of Ur. When Kent found the helmet and put it on, his body was taken over by Nabu and transformed into Doctor Fate. Eventually, Kent passed away and the helmet passed on to a successor.

The Helmet of Fate is a magical artifact that houses inside it the Lord of Order Nabu and works as a symbiont of sorts, allowing a host body to be used by Nabu to become Doctor Fate. It is Nabu's only anchor on the mortal/physical plane.

In the heart of the Sanctum Sanctorum, Doctor Strange sat in the middle of the room, meditating.

As he meditates, just then, the orb of Agamotto starts shining brightly, attracting his attention.

FLASH!!!

Strange: I never saw that kind of power! It merits investigating.

WHOOSH!!!

Doctor Strange waves his hand across, opening up a dimensional portal before flying right into it.

As Doctor Strange flies across the dimensional realm, all of a sudden, he felt a magic blast strike him right in the back.

THOOM!!!

Strange: ARGHHHH!!!!

Doctor Strange screams out as he stumbles forward.

As he spun around, a tall sorcerer swoops down from the air, a golden helm donning over his head.

He is no other than Doctor Fate.

WHOOOM!!!

Doctor Fate points his palm, charging up a magic sphere and he questions.

Fate: What business do you have here?

Strange: I'm afraid you're too powerful for me to let you live. Prepare to live your last instants.

Upon hearing that, Doctor Fate chuckles and he said to him.

Fate: Order shall be maintained and you shall be destroyed.

THOOM!!!

Doctor Fate launches a powerful magic blast at Doctor Strange, forcing the Doctor to swing his arm across.

THOOM!!!

As he deflects the attack, Doctor Strange launches a series of magic bolts towards Doctor Fate.

WHOOM!!! WHOOM!!! WHOOM!!!

Doctor Fate opens up his palms, forming a yellow ankh construct.

FLASH!!!

As the projectiles closes in, Doctor Fate spun the ankh across, deflecting the projectiles with it.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Annoyed, Doctor Strange shouts out.

Strange: Your power exceeds my expectations!

Doctor Strange whips out his wand of Wattomb and the Eye of Agamotto, and he points it at the sorcerer, charging up a powerful magic blast.

VOOOM!!!

Doctor Fate spreads out his arms, charging up a sphere of magical energy within his palms.

VOOMM!!!

THOOM!!!

Both sorcerers launches a powerful stream of magic towards each other, causing both blasts to clash into each other.

THOOM!!!

As the two pushes the blast back, Doctor Strange shouts at his opponent.

Doctor Strange: You best give up!

However, Doctor Fate simply scoffs and he said.

Fate: Please, I'm not even trying.

THOOM!!!

Doctor Fate narrows his eyes as he launches another magic blast, pushing Doctor Strange's attack back.

Realizing he is in peril, Doctor Strange swung his arms back and he puts them up in a cross position, conjuring up a magic shield.

VOOM!!!

As the blast struck onto the shield, the sheer impact of the collision creates a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

Within the shield, Doctor Strange activates his Time Gem and he waves his hand, a blue energy emitting from it.

VOOOOMMM!!!

As time began reversing back, Doctor Strange narrows his eyes and he thought to himself.

Strange: That sorcerer is too powerful for me. I need to find his weakness.

BOOM!!!

Doctor Strange then halts right at the time he first encountered Doctor Fate.

THOOM!!!

Just as the magic blast flies across the dimension, Doctor Strange points his palm at the magic blast, launching a stream of magic at it.

THOOM!!!

As the magic projectiles collided into each other, the sheer collision created a massive explosion, causing a massive burst of fire to fly across the dimensional barrier.

WHOOSH!!!

Just then, without warning, everything around Doctor Strange began speeding up, causing him to widen his eyes in shock.

Strange: What?!

Before Doctor Strange even knew what was happening, he suddenly found himself back at where he was last put off, back at where he was barely able to raise his shield in time to shield himself from Doctor Fate's attack.

VOOM!!!

At that moment, Doctor Fate emerges from a portal and he turns to Doctor Strange, saying.

Fate: And where do you think you're going? No one threatens me without suffering the consequences.

Strange: But how?! How do you know what I was doing?

Fate: The power of Nabu enables me to travel through the interdimensional plane. I tracked you through the time and pulled you back to where you were.

Doctor Fate looks down at the Time Gem held within Doctor Strange's amulet and he continues.

Fate: And that gem is the source of that power. By the order of Nabu, that object must be destroyed!

VOOM!!!

A magic aura began emitting from his palm and Doctor Fate clenches his fist.

At that moment.....

BOOM!!!

Doctor Strange widens his eyes in sheer horror just as the Time Gem explodes into oblivion.

As Doctor Strange looks up at Doctor Fate, realization struck him upon laying eyes on the helmet.

Strange: I can feel the source of his power... it's that strange helmet!! If I managed to get it off...

Doctor Strange narrows his eyes and he shifts his hands up.

WHOOM!!!

A Doctor Strange felt his mind touching right onto the helmet, he shifts his finger up, preparing to take Doctor Fate's helmet off.

However, Doctor Fate wavered his finger in a disapproving manner and at that moment.

BOOM!!!

Strange: What?!

Doctor Strange exclaims as he jumps back, his teleknetic control over the helmet now completely severed.

Fate: This cannot be allowed. You shall be punished for your atrocities.

VOOM!!!

Doctor Fate suddenly vanishes from sight, causing Doctor Strange to back away in fear.

Where did he go?

As Doctor Strange frantically searches for his opponent, all of a sudden, something pops out right in front of him.

VOOM!!!

Strange: No!

Doctor Strange screams out as he jumps back, finding himself staring right into the visor of the Helm of Fate.

Fate: Begone!

WHOOSH!!!

Before Doctor Strange could even react, he stood motionless as he felt his body disintergrating.

Strange: What?!

Doctor Strange looks down, his eyes wide in fear as his entire body disintergrates completely into nothingness.

WHOOSH!!!

As the dust of what used to be Doctor Strange flies deep into the magical realm, Doctor Fate said to himself.

Fate: Order has been maintained.
