Toho vs Pacific Rim, which two heavily weaponed robots designed to kill Kaijus will emerge the winner of this match? Gypsy Danger ended it's fight with Kiryu in a rather  close call but how well will it fair against a different Mechagodzilla?

Toomi: Giant robots, something that is best to used against giant monsters.

Megumi: Especially when these two are the top of their games!

Toomi: Like Super Mechagodzilla, the second incarnation of Mechagodzilla,

Megumi: And Gipsy Danger, the oldest Jaeger ever, she's Sachi, Toomi and I'm Megumi.

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Mechagodzilla G-Crushes into What if Battles

<Cue: Super Lover by Lady Gaga>

Toomi: The year is 1993 AD. In order to try to counter the threat posed to the planet's survival by Godzilla, Japan's Counter G bureau recruited the most brilliant scientific brains in the world to build a fighting machine.

Megumi: The first machine was called Garuda, but its fighting capabilities were limited. And considering how powerful Godzilla is, everyone knows a stronger countermeasure would be required.

Sachi: They salvaged a robot from the future, Mecha-King Ghidorah, in order to study its advanced technology where it's components was used to build a weapon to fight Godzilla.

Toomi: A weapon known as Mechagodzilla.

Mechagodzilla: CCCCCLLLLLRRROONNNNKKK!!!

Megumi: You know, there is something I don't get.

Toomi: What?

Megumi: I get that the humans want to kill Godzilla but why build a robot that looks like Godzilla though?

Toomi: No idea. Anyway, Mechagodzilla was launched to attack it's organic counterpart where it held the upper hand until Godzilla emitted a shockwave of energy that caused the electrical current to be reversed and travel back up Mechagodzilla's shock anchor cables, short circuiting the robot before Godzilla defeats it.

Sachi: After it's failure, Kazuma Aoki, the pilot of Mechagodzilla proposed to alter the robot by putting Garuda on it, thus transforming it into a single powerful war machine also known as Super Mechagodzilla.

Megumi: And thanks to it's upgrades, Mechagodzilla was able to kill Godzilla

Toomi: Well that is until Fire Rodan gave his soul to Godzilla, resurrecting him and powering him up to defeat Mechagodzilla.

Megumi: And then, Mechagodzilla was then rebuilt into M.O.G.U.E.R.A, but that's a story for another time.

Toomi: Being a mecha designed to kill Godzilla, Mechagodzilla is equipped with a mass array of arsenal, ranging from missiles, lasers, bombs and even electrical cables used for electrocuting enemies.

Sachi: Mechagodzilla is also capable of flying, has a Mega Buster Ray that can match Godzilla's Hyper Uranium Heat Ray and an armor plating made from an alloy called NT-1, which is coated in a layer of artificial diamond. The coating allows it to absorb energy from energy weapons such as Godzilla's atomic breath, which is then transferred to its ultimate weapon, the devastating plasma grenade, which is located on its waist.

Megumi: And when joined with the Garuda, Mechagodzilla became Super Mechagodzilla, it gained shoulder cannons capable of firing lasers at it's opponents and it's missiles we mentioned earlier was even capable of hitting Godzilla in his secondary brain which proved fatal for it.

Toomi: Because of this, Super Mechagodzilla is one of the only characters in the show that came close to killing Godzilla

Sachi: Not just Godzilla but Super Mechagodzilla has even assisted the King of the Monsters several times, even defeating both Hedorah and Spacegodzilla in the process.

Toomi: Despite it's incredible arsenals however, this version of Mechagodzilla is rather weak against hand to hand combat, being designed to only attack from a distance rather than closing in and attacking his opponents head on.

Sachi: Which was proven when Rodan destroyed one of it's eyes and Godzilla was even overpowering it physically.

Megumi: And you guys remember M.O.G.U.E.R.A from that fight, M.O.G.U.E.R.A vs Striker Eureka? Well it turns out that the mecha has even easily destroyed this Mechagodzilla once.

Weakness

It is the Mighty Glacier compared to its fellow MechaGodzillas

Prefers to attack from a distance

Weak in hand-to-hand combat

Was easily overpowered by Godzilla when he closed the distance

Lost one of it's eyes to Rodan when he surprise-attacked him

Was short-circuited when Godzilla redirected the current from its Shock Anchor

Since it was made from Mecha-King Ghidorah's 23rd Century technology, it also inherited its programming causing its pilots to lose control of the Mech as it tries to kill both Godzilla and Baby Godzilla (GvMG2 Manga)

Its Diamond Coated Armor can be melted by intense heat, leaving it defenseless

A rebuilt Mechagodzilla was easily destroyed by M.O.G.U.E.R.A.

Toomi: Not only that but Mechagodzilla's diamond coated armor is not strong against intense heat as Godzilla's hyper spiral ray did not only melted it's armor, but also left it vulnerable to which Godzilla eventually defeats it.

Sachi: And it's armor is weak against Hedorah's toxic sludge

Megumi: But considering how this Mechagodzilla is one of the largest versions of the character to exist, this is probably one of the strongest version of Mechagodzilla to exist.

Aoki: Mechagodzilla. Take off.

Raleigh and Mako pilots Gipsy Danger for a What if Battle

<Cue: World by Five for Fighting>

Toomi: Gipsy Danger was constructed on Kodiak Island at the Jaeger Academy's Jaeger testing facility. Launched on July 10, 2017, Gipsy Danger was stationed at the Anchorage Shatterdome and tasked to defend the coastline of Alaska.

Sachi: Piloted by the Becket brothers, Yancy and Raleigh, the Mark-3 Jaeger is accredited with four Kaiju kills in the span of four years.

Megumi: And over the years, Gipsy is not only the oldest Jaeger to ever exist but it was also recorded to have the highest kill count.

Toomi: After Yancy is gone, Raleigh soon teamed up with a girl named Mako Moori where the two used Gipsy to save Striker Eureka from the Kaijus Otachi and Leatherback before following the Jaeger to the Breach to close it.

Sachi: It was there where they were intercepted by three Kaijus, Raiju, Scunner and Slattern where Gipsy succeeded in killing Raiju and Striker succeeded in killing Scunner at the cost of the lives of Pentecost and Chuck Hansen.

Megumi: And after which, Raleigh and Mako then sacrificed the robot to self-destruct which ends up closing the Breach once and for all.

Toomi: Being a Jaeger, Gipsy Danger was designed to kill Kaijus, using it's link with it's pilots to combat and subdue Kaijus with martial arts skills.

Sachi: But hand to hand combat is not the only thing Gipsy has to deal with Kaiju, it is equipped with it's signature GD6 Chain Sword, which was used to cut down kaijus.

Megumi: Not only that but Gipsy even has a I-19 Plasmacaster which fires plasma blasts powerful enough to hurt Kaijus, jet boosters to enable it to move forward at a fast pace and a Nuclear Turbine Beam which fires a powerful blast that burned through Slattern, the first Category 5 Kaiju.

Toomi: Being one of the oldest and strongest Jaegers to date, Gipsy has been credited with nine Kaiju kills, killing Otachi, Leatherback, Knifehead, Raiju and Slattern to which adds up to the highest Kaiju kill count to date.

Sachi: It has even once lifted an entire ocean liner once, overpowered Leatherback capable of destroying Cherno Alpha and Crimson Typhoon and get this, it's the only Jaeger to be nuclear powered which makes it immune to EMP attacks.

Megumi: And that's one tough motherfucker as well! Surviving an explosion from Striker Eureka and still stood it's ground despite missing an arm! An arm I tell you!

Toomi: However, like all Jaegers, Gipsy Danger is heavily reliant on it's pilots. If Raleigh or Mako were to be killed, it will leave Gipsy vulnerable to attacks.

Sachi: And certain Kaijus strong enough can destroy Gipsy Danger with ease.

It was almost destroyed by Knifehead.

Megumi: Gipsy may be third-generation but is a jaeger really difficult to overcome.

Raleigh: Alright Mako get ready! Cause this is for real!

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Sachi: Don't forget to vote, comment what you think of the fight.

Megumi: Yeah, but right now, it's time for a Death Battle!

At the port, all seems to be peaceful.

Until right at that moment, Gipsy Danger jumps right into the scene, standing up.

Inside the cockpit, Raleigh faces Mako as he says to her,

Raleigh: Alright Mako this is it! Give it everything you got!

Mako: Right!

Gipsy Dangers looks forward just as Mechagodzilla closes in, the Jaeger rolls onto the floor before throwing out it's fist, preparing to punch.

Announcer: Fight!

<Cue: Slow Clap by Gwen Stefani>

Gipsy Danger throws a punch, striking Mechagodzilla in the head.

CLANK!!!

As Mechagodzilla falls onto the floor, Gipsy Danger rushes forward, throwing multiple punches across the mecha.

CLANK!!! CLANK!!! CLANK!!!

Mechagodzilla looks up before firing a blast of laser from it's waist.

VREEEEE!!!

BOOM!!!

The ground exploded beneath Gipsy Danger, forcing both Raleigh and Mako backwards.

Mako: AAAAHHHHH!!!

Raleigh: WHOOOAAAA!!!

Mechagodzilla: KKKKKRRRRNKKKK!!!

Mechagodzilla lets out a loud roar as it's shoulder cannon began firing multiple shots at the Jeager.

THOOM!!! THOOM!!!

Gipsy Danger sprints across the floor, dodging blast after blast before jumping up, throwing a right hook across Mechagodzilla's face.

CLANK!!!

Mechagodzilla backs up before throwing a punch, striking Gipsy in the face.

CLANK!!!

The impact of the blow shook the pilots within the robot, causing Raleigh to shout.

Raleigh: Playing dirty huh? Alright, take this!

Gipsy Danger then brandishes it's blade, closing in as it ducks down, dodging a punch from Mechagodzilla before swinging the blade upwards.

SLASH!!!

Electricity sparks out as the blade succeeded in slice one of Mechagodzilla's shoulder cannons off.

Gipsy Danger then swings it's blade across, slicing Mechagodzilla's other shoulder cannon successfully.

SLASH!!!

Mechagodzilla: KRRRRRNKKKK!!!

Raleigh: Hell yeah!

Gipsy Avenger then swings it's blade, cutting into Mechagodzilla before pointing it's plasma caster at it, firing three shots at the mecha.

THOOM!!! THOOM!!! THOOM!!!

Mechagodzilla backs away, it's circuit exploding upon impact of the blast.

KABOOM!!!

However, it would take more than that to end the fight.

Looking up, Mechagodzilla lunges forward, slamming bodyfirst into Gipsy Danger.

BAM!!!

Raleigh and Mako: AAAAHHHHH!!!

As Gipsy Danger is sent flying, Mechagodzilla throws the Jaeger into the building.

CRASH!!!

Right as Gipsy Danger attempts to get up, Mechagodzilla launches several electric cables at the Jaeger, shocking it.

BZZZZZTTTT!!!

The overwhelming surge of electricity, though damaging, is not enough to take the fight out of both Raleigh and Mako.

Searching through the Jaeger's arsenal, Raleigh shifts Gipsy Danger's plasma caster up where it opens fire, firing a blast right onto the mecha.

THOOM!!!

Mechagodzilla: KKKKRRRRNNKKKK!!!

Mechagodzilla lets out a roar as Raleigh growls.

Raleigh: This ends here!

Gipsy Danger then pulls out it's arm, it's chest began emitting out a powerful sphere of it's Nuclear Turbine Beam.

WHOOOM!!!

At the same time, Mechagodzilla stood it's ground, charging up it's Mega Buster Ray from it's mouth.

WHOOOM!!!

Mako then looks at Raleigh and she says to him.

Mako: It's ready!

Raleigh: Alright. Fire!

THOOM!!!

Both robots fires a powerful blast of energy right onto each other, causing both their beams to clash.

BOOM!!!

Electricity sparks around the two robots as the two are locked in a beam struggle, neither combatants willing to give up.

Right at that moment, Mechagodzilla fires one of it's missiles right across, sending it flying straight towards Gipsy Danger's head.

Both Raleigh and Mako widens their eyes in sheer horror just as the missile struck Gipsy Danger in the head, causing it's head to go off in an explosion.

KABOOM!!!

With it's head gone and the pilots dead, Gipsy Danger's systems began deactivating, it's blast weakening and thus enabling Mechagodzilla to fire it's Mega Buster Ray forward, finishing off the Jaeger with one final blast.

KABOOM!!!

A powerful fiery explosion booms across the battle field as the remains of Gipsy Danger began incinerating in flames.

With Gipsy Danger defeated, Mechagodzilla turns to face the viewers before letting out one victorious roar.

Mechagodzilla: KKKKKRRRRNNKKK!!!

Megumi: Man, first Striker and now Gipsy, never knew the robots built by the guys in the Godzilla series are that good!

Toomi: Gipsy Danger's speed, martial arts skills and flexibility are impressive and it's arsenal are certainly capable of letting it hold it's own against Mechagodzilla but unfortunately, it fell short in pretty much everything else.

Sachi: Let's first talk about armor. Gipsy Danger's armor has definitely survived a fall from the atmosphere and a explosion from a nuke but Mechagodzilla survived getting blasted from Godzilla's nuclear blast which not only has the same kind of radiation as a nuke, but it was the same nuclear blast that has killed other powerful monsters like King Ghidorah, the same creature that did almost killed Godzilla once.

Megumi: And though it is definitely not ideal for hand to hand combat, it's shoulder cannons and missiles helped even the odds by keeping Gipsy Danger from a distance.

Toomi: And there are it's feats of defeating enemies. Mechagodzilla has defeated enemies ranging from Rodan, Spacegodzilla, Hedorah and even Godzilla whereas Gipsy Danger has struggled enemies as weak as Knifehead.

Megumi: Yeah, Godzilla was even weighing about 60,000 metric tons while Knifehead weights about 8,700 metric, which is 51300 metric tons lesser than Godzilla.

Sachi: And thanks to the power of it's Mega Buster Ray, Mechagodzilla having destroyed Spacegodzilla's crystals and even killed Godzilla with it, gives it more than enough power it needs to finish off Gipsy Danger with one blow.

Toomi: Gipsy Danger may have held the upper hand in martial arts skills, speed and combat but Mechagodzilla's fire power, strength and armor won out in the end.

Megumi: Looks like this was one Gipsy Danger-ous fight!

Sachi: The winner is Super Mechagodzilla.

Mechagodzilla: KKKRRRRNKKKK!!!
