My Little Pony vs Star Wars, magic vs force, equality vs balance, which two apprentices who surpasses their mentors will emerge the winner in the battle of opposing factions.

Toomi: Starlight Glimmer, the talent-pilfering mayor of Our Town,

Megumi: And Ahsoka Tano, the Togruta former Padawan of Anakin Skywalker,

Toomi: With great talent and potential, these two have went on to become students of powerful fighters,

Megumi: Which as time passes, they will eventually surpass them. She's Sachi, Toomi and I'm Megumi.

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Starlight Glimmers into What if Battles

<Cue: B-e-a-utiful by Megan Nicole>

Toomi: Throughout Equestira, home to all three species of pony, there is nothing emphasized more than the importance of friendship.

Megumi: With it being the keystone in using a set of powerful relics and there even being an actual Princess of Friendship on the same tier as the ones who control the Sun and the Moon, it's clear that friendship is a massive deal

Sachi: Well, people have different definitions of what friendship involves. Including the mayor of a certain town which is pretty far out of the way.

Toomi: The only reason our Mane Six found it was because of a magical map. And a good thing too, because under the leadership of Starlight Glimmer, there was something very odd about that Town.

Sachi: Especially with it's name; Our Town. And if you ask, yes. That's really the name of the town.

Megumi: Really? Cause all this time, I thought it was a communist joke. Cause that's what Starlight was preaching. And like communism, it had a decent following.

Toomi: Heaven knows how she was able to convince them though, considering that the whole process of becoming a part of her community involved them having to give up what made them unique. Probably had something to do with the promise of one person never outshining someone else. Except one was exempt from this rule; Starlight herself.

Megumi: She had made some cock-and-pony story about possessing a legendary staff that could remove Cutie Marks, the embodiment of one's talent, in order to make them all equal

Sachi: But as it turns out, it was just a stick she found in the desert, using it as cover for her to keep her own Cutie Mark and thus her magical power. This is the truth to how she removes a Cutie Mark, a feat that, even with magic, is considered extraordinary.

Toomi: To start with, Starlight has the usual unicorn abilities of transmutation, teleportation and telekinesis. In fact, her telekinesis is so potent, she can use it to levitate herself, mimicking flight.

Megumi: In the area of offense, Starlight can shoot out concussive blasts of magic or ones that encase those hit in a super tough crystal. And for defense, conjure up a domed shield about herself.

Sachi: She can even cloak herself or others with an invisibility spell, or make herself go faster with the Accelero spell. And since she's pretty adept at spells, she's managed to combine the Fiducia Compelus, Cogeria and Persuadere to create a legitimate Mind Control spell. Anyone afflicted by it will follow her orders to the most literal way possible, making it far more practical than the Want It, Need It spell that Twilight uses.

Megumi: But of course, we can't forget the effects of her most infamous ability, removing Cutie Marks. It literally turns them into a physical thing that is peeled off their butt - I mean flank, to be stored in a jar.

Sachi: With it, the afflicted pony loses the very thing that makes them unique. Not just becoming duller in colour, they also lose their talents and strengths. For example, Fluttershy is unable to communicate with animals and Applejack loses her strength. In fact anyone who is afflicted is unable to exert much more effort than a light trot.

Megumi: No wonder the magical map decided she had to be looked into. I'm amazed that with that much magical talent, she wasn't scouted out to be a magic student like Twilight or her best friend, Sunburst.

Sachi: Being comparable to Twilight in magical skill, Glimmer is also superior to Rarity, who was able to manipulate a massive patchwork storm over Ponyville. Plus, her crystals are strong enough to restrain a young Rainbow Dash, who can withstand being launched by her own Sonic Rainboom which is powerful enough to spread across vast regions of land. And get this; in the past, normal ponies used their own magic to move the sun and moon, their magic travelling to the celestial bodies is no time at all.

Feats

Cleaned up a giant library within 2 seconds.

Outsmarted Twilight on multiple occasions.

Created several new timelines casually via time manipulation.

Altered Starswirl the Bearded's spell to travel through time.

Defeated the changelings with no magic at all with Trixie, Thorax and Discord's help. Trixie and Discord were also deprived from their magic.

Stated by Twilight Sparkle to be more magical talented.

Graduated from being a student years before Twilight did.

Can interrupt a friendship speech.

Got telekinetically slammed into stone, but it didn't seem to faze her.

Dodged multiple blasts from Bell-Enhanced Chrysalis, Third Form Tirek, and Alicorn Cozy Glow.

Blasted Bell-Enhanced Chrysalis hard enough to make her grunt in pain.

Took an attack from Bell-Enhanced Chrysalis despite having her back turned and being visibly taxed from performing a powerful spell, and was able to keep fighting moments later.

Fought Chrysalis, who was enhanced by the Bewitching Bell's power.

Toomi: Once Twilight gave her another chance, this source of power dulled but not entirely enough to be a true liability. Even when it had been nullified by the throne of the Changeling Queen, she led a noble effort to save those taken by the Changelings and was insurmountable in reclaiming Equestria from their own Legion of Doom.

Megumi: Damn, no wonder Twilight sees the potential in her.

Toomi: However, it's been said that the majority of Starlight Glimmer's overwhelming power came from the sheer rage from the hoof life dealt her.

Sachi: Once Twilight gave her another chance, this source of power dulled but not entirely enough to be a true liability

Sachi: But let's not forget that having a horn means that by removing it or damaging it, Starlight can lose her powers.

Megumi: But it's not gonna be easy for someone who's potential can be realised by Twilight. Guess it's not too shabby for someone with a view of friendship once so horribly warped. I guess some bad guys can change.

Starlight: I brought you friendship! I brought you equality! I brought you harmony!

Ahsoka Snips into What if Battle

<Cue: Before I Knew It by Mason Ramsey>

Toomi: Born on the planet Shili, Ahsoka was discovered by Jedi Master Plo Koon and was raised in the ways of the Force in the Jedi Temple.

Megumi: But by the time she reached the age of Fourteen, that's where the Clone Wars happened and since the Jedis are forced into battle, she was assigned as a Padawan learner to Anakin Skywalker.

Sachi: Initially impulsive and stubborn, Ahsoka has constantly endangered both herself and Anakin multiple times though she slowly began to mature as her time in the war prolongs where she and Anakin formed a close father and daughter kind of relationship.

Toomi: However, near the end of the Clone Wars, Ahsoka left the Jedi Order after being falsely convicted of a bombing of the Temple, thinking about how flawed the Jedi Order was and she has no reason to stay.

Megumi: Heh hypocrites, but that was not the end of the young Togruta's adventures. During her exile from the Jedi Order, Ahsoka met the Martez Sisters where she dealt with the Pyke Syndicate before getting up with Anakin, Rex and Obi Wan once again.

Sachi: So while Anakin and Obi Wan dealt with the Battle of Corusant, Ahsoka and Rex stayed on Mandalore where they fought and defeated Darth Maul, bringing him back in hopes of putting him on trial until this happen

Darth Sidious: Execute Order 66

Toomi: Being trapped on a Star Destroyer full of her former comrades who wants her dead, Ahsoka and Rex fought their way out before crash landing on a moon where Ahsoka went into hiding before helping out the Rebel Alliance, guiding the Young Ezra Bridger while dealing with the Empire.

Sachi: And as Luke defeats Palpatine and saved the galaxy, Ahsoka became a leading figure in helping to restore the Jedi Order.

Toomi: Being trained in the way of the Jedi, Ahsoka is gifted in the Force, where she uses it for knowledge and combat.

Megumi: She can use the force to lift up objects, push back large number of enemies, perform the Jedi Mind Tricks, heal herself and even sense events happening in the distance.

Sachi: But as a Jedi, Ahsoka is not far off without her lightsaber. Or should I say lightsabers.

Toomi: Being trained in the arts of Form V Style (Shien), Ahsoka can hold her blade in a reverse grip which is commonly used for defending or parrying blaster bolts and Jar'Kai which trains her to use two lightsabers at a time.

Megumi: And these two lightsabers can cut through nearly anything, deflect blasters bolts, and even go up against other lightsaber wielding opponents.

Megumi: It's even shocking the Grievous has even went toe to toe with even Jedi Council members in battle, killing other Jedis older and more experienced than she is. Oh and she could even kill three Magnaguards while inexperienced and

Sachi: Ahsoka has also been part of many major events in the Star Wars timeline, fought and won several battles in the Clone Wars, ended Darth Maul's reign over Mandalore, survived Order 66 and helped the Rebel Alliance take down the Empire.

Toomi: However, Ahsoka's bravery though admirable has been her downfall where she tends to rush in headfirst and even act out of insubordination though she learn such disobediance from Anakin.

Sachi: Not to mention, Ahsoka has lost her fair share of battles, being outmatched by General Grievous, taken down by surprise by Barriss Offee and struggled to take down Maul in battle

Megumi: Which wouldn't matter cause we are using Ahsoka at her prime and those weaknesses which she displayed at a young age wouldn't apply anymore considering she has matured over the years.

Darth Vader: Anakin Skywalker was weak. I destroyed him.

Ahsoka Tano: Then I will avenge his death.

Darth Vader: Revenge is not the Jedi way.

Ahsoka Tano: I am no Jedi.

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Megumi: Yeah, but right now, it's time for a Death Battle!

Fight

Our Town

In the shabby town of Our Town, all seems to be neutral, with equality and bits of communism mixed among the ponies.

However, right at that moment, a magic portal conjures out of thin air before a slender orange figure leaps out of the portal, landing in the midst of the town.

The figure is Ahsoka Tano, the Togruta Jedi survivor.

Ahsoka looks around the town, wondering to herself.

Ahsoka: Where am I? This doesn't look like the place Luke told me to go.

???: Uh Hmmph!

Hearing a voice from behind, Ahsoka spun around, finding herself staring back at a purple colour Unicorn.

Ahsoka: Uh hi?

The unicorn asks Ahsoka as she introduces herself.

Starlight: The name's Starlight Glimmer. Welcome to Our Town.

Ahsoka began sensing a disturbance in the force as she found herself slowly surrounded by ponies with forced exaggerated smiles.

Realising something is wrong Ahsoka then says.

Ahsoka: Uh yeah sure.

However, Starlight Glimmer is not done.

Starlight Glimmer: You don't seem to be a pony so unfortunately, I can't have you in this town.

As if on cue, the ponies began closing in onto Ahsoka, forcing the Jedi to thrust her hand out, pushing every pony back with the Force.

WHOOSH!!!

Starlight Glimmer grits her teeth as the impact of the Force Push sends her crashing into a chair.

CRASH!!!

As the unicorn gets up, Ahsoka leaps back, brandishing her lightsabers as Starlight Glimmer growls.

Starlight: You dare to lay a hand on me? It's time I teach you the true meaning of equality!

Ahsoka retorts back at the pony as she gets into a fighting stance

Ahsoka: Sorry, but whatever you have done to those ponies. That's not equality. That's just evil!

Announcer: Fight!

<Cue: Lost by Cher Lloyd>

Starlight Glimmer's horn glows brightly as she fires a barrage of magic at Ahsoka, forcing the Jedi to swing her lightsaber, parrying each blast.

THOOM!!! THOOM!!! THOOM!!!

Using the Force, Ahsoka lifts up several barrels before chucking them at Starlight Glimmer, which prompts the unicorn to disappear.

POOF!!!

Ahsoka looks around, surveying the area for any sight of the pony, only to sense a presence behind her.

Starlight: You're mine!

PIU!!!

Starlight fires a powerful blast of magic, only for Ahsoka to leap up into the air, dodging the projectile before bouncing off a house towards her.

Starlight Glimmer horns began glowing magic as she levitates into the air, both her horn and Ahsoka's lightsaber clashing into each other.

VSSSSHHHH!!!

As Ahsoka lands on the rooftop of a building, she remarks out in surprise.

Ahsoka: I'm surprise. Your horn can take a hit from my lightsaber.

Starlight Glimmer smirks as she compliments Ahsoka.

Starlight: You know, for someone who isn't a pony, you're not so bad yourself. But this charade shall end here!

Starlight Glimmer began using her telekinetic spell to lift Ahsoka into the air, surprising the Togruta.

Ahsoka: WHOOOAAAA!!!

Starlight Glimmer cackles out in delight.

Starlight: Ha! I'm gonna throw you so far far away.

However, Ahsoka still has some tricks up her sleeves.

Closing her eyes, Ahsoka began to concentrate, using the Force to lift Starlight Glimmer up into the air.

Starlight: Huh? What the? WHOOOAAAA!!!

Both Ahsoka and Starlight are sent spinning in the air, their telekinetic abilities seemingly evenly matched.

While tumbling through the air, Ahsoka takes her shorter lightsaber before hurling it through the air, gashing Starlight by her shoulder.

VSSSHHHH!!!

Starlight: ARGHHHH!!!

Feeling the singing sensation, Starlight Glimmer narrows her eyes as she conjures up a crystal before throwing it at Ahsoka who responded by slicing it with her other lightsaber.

VSSSHHHH!!!

Thrusting her hand out, Ahsoka pushes Starlight back with a Force Push.

WHOOM!!!

Starlight Glimmer grits her teeth and she responded up holding Ahsoka within her telekinetic grip, slamming the Jedi several times across the ground.

THOOM!!! THOOM!!! THOOM!!!

Starlight then fire a blast of magic, striking onto Ahsoka.

THOOM!!!

Ahsoka: AAAAHHHHH!!!

Ahsoka screams out in agony as the impact of the blast sends her flying back, crashing into a building.

CRASH!!!

Starlight disappears in place, teleporting herself in front of a recovering Ahsoka and she says.

Starlight: I'm sorry but you're time ends here.

Utilizing the Force to heal herself, Ahsoka thrusts her hand out, using the Force to throw a table right into Starlight.

WHOOM!!! CRACK!!!

Starlight: AAAHHHHH!!!

Ahsoka then lunges outwards, swinging her leg out as she strikes the recovering Starlight across her face.

WHAM!!!

Ahsoka then throws her hand out, punching Starlight.

WHAM!!!

Angered, Starlight turns around, rearing her rear hooves upwards before thrusting them outwards, slamming into Ahsoka.

WHAM!!!

Starlight then narrows her eyes as her horn began glowing and right at that moment...

SHING!!!

Ahsoka: Hgn!

Ahsoka grips her head as she felt a strong magical force controlling her mind as Starlight approaches her, cackling out.

Starlight: Alright. That's it. Now you're gonna take that blade and just plunge it into you!

Ahsoka grits her teeth as she felt a strange force moving her hand towards her lightsaber, pulling it out before igniting it.

VSSSSHHHH!!!

Ahsoka: HGNNN!!! NO!!!

<Cue: Rolling Star by YUI>

Ahsoka unleashes a powerful force push, sending Starlight flying.

WHOOM!!!

Starlight: WAAAAHHHHH!!!

As Starlight is sent flying, Ahsoka lunges upwards before swinging her lightsaber across her several times, cutting into her.

VSSSHH!!! VSSSH!!! VSSSHHH!!!

Starlight: ARGHHHHHH!!!

Starlight Glimmer screams out in agony before dropping onto the floor, with Ahsoka landing in front of her as she says.

Ahsoka: You sure caused a lot of trouble for a pony, and I don't want to do this but now, it's time I free these ponies from you!

Ahsoka raises up her lightsaber, preparing to strike Starlight Glimmer down only for Starlight to say.

Starlight: Time huh? Good idea.

Conjuring a portal, Starlight leaps into the portal before closing it.

Starlight Glimmer flies through the time stream, teleporting herself right towards the beginning of the battle

Beginning

Starlight: You dare to lay a hand on me? It's time I teach you the true meaning of equality!

Ahsoka retorts back at the pony as she gets into a fighting stance

Ahsoka: Sorry, but whatever you have done to those ponies. That's not equality. That's just evil!

However, before Ahsoka could even attack, Starlight Glimmer charges up a powerful blast of magic before firing it right through the Togruta's chest.

THOOM!!!

Coughing out blood, Ahsoka collapses onto the floor, clutching the spot where her heart once was before Starlight Glimmer throws her staff right through Ahsoka's face, stabbing her to death.

SHOK!!!

As Ahsoka collapses lifelessly onto the floor, Starlight Glimmer shrugs as she says.

Starlight: Since you don't have a cutie mark, guess this will have to do.

Starlight then conjures another portal to teleport herself back, disappearing just as the Starlight Glimmer of the past watches her with a puzzled expression on her face.

KO!

<Cue: Compound I Love You by Jincheng Zhang>

Megumi: Hold on what?! Ahsoka Tano, the student of the Anakin Skywalker...just lost to a pony?

Toomi: Shocking as it may look, it's surprisingly not too far off. Now Ahsoka's Jedi training along with her many years of fighting battles and opponents of different calibre of strength would give her an advantage in experience over Starlight Glimmer's youth.

Sachi: Not to mention, having actual hands and a more human like physique makes Ahsoka more suited for hand to hand combat which if she gets close enough, can overcome Starlight's limits with her horse physiques.

Toomi: However, Starlight Glimmer doesn't need martial art knowledge to overcome Ahsoka. Having powerful magic to overcome Twilight Sparkle and Queen Chrysalis, beings that are as powerful if not more powerful than Princess Celestia.

Megumi: And note that Twilight Sparkle has been stated to be as powerful as Star Swirl the Beared who was considered to be one of the most powerful unicorns alive, having taught Celestia and Luna everything they knew

Sachi: And note that Twilight is stronger than normal ponies that used their own magic to move the sun and moon which makes this an overly planetary feat.

Toomi: Not to mention, Twilight has went up against Nightmare Moon and Lord Tirek in battle, the same Lord Tirek who can beat a reality warper like Discord in battle and the same Discord who was sealed away by Celestial and Luna were beaten by Tirek and considering that Starlight Glimmer not only contended with Tirek but was considered to be superior than Twilight makes her surprisingly universal.

Megumi: But Toomi? Aren't Jedis universal? How about Luke? How about Vader? How about Palpatine?

Toomi: Firstly, those universal powers you see in Star Wars can only be utilize by certain individuals in the Star Wars universe which sad to say, Ahsoka is not one of them.

Sachi: And also to note that all that insane power you see in Star Wars only exists in Star Wars Legends, which is Star Wars told in a very different story before the introduction of Ahsoka in the Disney Canon timeline which Ahsoka doesn't exist in that time line.

Megumi: And since Starlight Glimmer can just go back in time, even if you want highball Ahsoka by scaling her to Legends characters she never fought, what makes you think Starlight wouldn't just go back in time and kill Ahsoka before this battle could even happen.

Toomi: Holding the upper hand or should I say hoof in terms of raw power, skills, speed and abilities, Starlight Glimmer has what it takes to overcome Ahsoka's own sets of powers, skills, speed and weapon.

Megumi: Looks like Ahsoka's days of Horsing around are over

Sachi: The winner is Starlight Glimmer

Starlight: If you spend too much time worrying about the bad things that might happen, you'll miss out on all the good things that are happening

* The part where Starlight Glimmer teleports herself back to the beginning of the fight to kill Ahsoka is a reference to the infamous scene in the Death Battle Ben 10 vs Green Lantern where Green Lantern travelled back to the beginning of the fight to kill Ben.
