Toho vs Toho, two modern versions of Godzillas battles for the true title as the King of the Monsters.

Toomi: Godzilla, the Kaiju well known in Japan for his long running franchise has appeared in many forms of pop culture.

Megumi: But when both America and Japan decided to reboot Godzilla's origin once more, heh. Well, you all know what's coming.

Toomi: Like Shin Godzilla, the God Incarnate,

Megumi: And Legendary Godzilla, the Alpha Predator, she's Sachi-san, Toomi-san and I'm Megumi-san

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win in a Death Battle

Shin Godzilla morphs into What if Battles

<Cue: New Love by Julia Price>

Megumi: I know you Kaiju fans have seen many types of Godzilla. One that can fly by his tail, another that is born as a vengeful spirit of the dead and even a non-canon Super Saiyan type of transformation in a video game.

Toomi: But no version of Godzilla is just as bizzare as our contender, Shin Godzilla

Shin Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEONK!!!

Megumi: I know what you some of you may be asking. Where does this Godzilla come from? Is he a dinosaur born from radiation? Is he an ancient Titan that eats parasites? Here's the answer, no one knows.

Toomi: But what we do know is that this Godzilla is an ancient prehistoric aquatic reptile that found itself surrounded by nuclear waste, eventually adapting to the state it can consume radiation.

Sachi: Soon, the Japan Government began receiving footages of a giant aquatic creature along with floods and blood in the water. And just when things couldn't get any worse, the creature sprouted legs and began making landfall.

Megumi: What the hell?! What in the blue hell is that?

Toomi: Believe it or not, that's Godzilla

Megumi: Are you even sure that's Godzilla? I mean look at him, he's literally bleeding from his gills!

Toomi: Anyway, the monster eventually then evolves into a biceptal reptile in the later part of the film, and even gained Godzilla's original roar.

Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEEEONK!!!

Sachi: But after spending some time on land, Godzilla then retreats back into the water before returning, now in his final form.

Megumi: Now that is what I call King of the Monsters. And after terrorizing the city, Godzilla was eventually defeated by the military, freezing into a giant ice sculpture.

Sachi: That is until at the end of Godzilla's tail, the creature began sprouting human-like creatures on it.

Megumi: Yikes.

Toomi: Unlike many of Godzilla's incarnations, this Godzilla is capable of evolving, possessing the ability to adapt and change his appearance as he step into land. Such abilities includes sprouting legs or growing in size.

Megumi: And like our Godzilla in our previous battle, Godzilla is capable of firing his signature Nuclear Blast from his mouth. But what makes this form cooler is the fact he can even fire those from his tail and spikes.

Megumi: Holy shit. Just look at that!

Sachi: And like many monsters, Shin Godzilla is invulnerable to standard military artillery like gun fire and tank fire and he's also physically strong enough to tear through buildings easily.

Sachi: In his second form, Shin Godzilla was able to wreak a huge part of Kamata just by moving and in his final form, his Atomic Breath is so powerful he dessimated a huge part of the city.

Megumi: After seeing all that destruction, it does left the characters of the show wondering. Is there any way to defeat this monster?

Toomi: To answer the question, yes. Shin Godzilla is somewhat a mindless monster of destruction, showing no signs of intelligience and just destroying things without a second thought.

Sachi: And Godzilla is also extremely slow moving and really really clumsy.

Megumi: Remember when we said that Godzilla's Atomic Breath is powerful enough to dessimate a city, well it turns out if Godzilla spent all his power, he went in a dormant state for 15 days straight which if you ask me, practically gives his opponents a really huge advantage over him

Legendary Godzilla thunders into What if Battles

<Cue: Lightning in a bottle by The Summer Set>

Toomi: An ancient Alpha predator that thrived during the Permian period, Godzilla retreated to the ocean depths as the radiation levels of Earth's surface declined, instead feeding on the planet's natural geothermal radiation from its core.

Megumi: But then when monsters known as Shinomura and the MUTOs arrive, Godzilla returned back to the surface, combating and defeating the two.

Sachi: But as it turns out, Godzilla is one of the factors to an ancient order of Titans, donning the name Titanus Gojira

Legendary Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEEONK!!!

Megumi: But like in every movie, every hero needs a villain, and that villain is no other than King Ghidorah himself.

Toomi: After King Ghidorah rose, he defeated Godzilla and went to Mexico, defeating Rodan easily before getting into another fight with Godzilla.

Megumi: Fearing for the fate of mankind, the US military then fired a weapon known as the Oxygen Destroyer, which severely injured Godzilla but is ineffective against King Ghidorah.

Sachi: Godzilla then went underwater into the Earth's radioactive core, absorbing the radiation to recover.

Toomi: However, at that moment, a nuclear missile was launched into the water with Godzilla saying a brief farewell to an old acquaintance, Dr. Serizawa.

Serizawa: Goodbye old friend.

Megumi: And thanks to his sacrifice, Godzilla rose from the water, now fully charged up and with the help from both Mothra and the Military, Godzilla storms off to confront King Ghidorah.

Sachi: At first, King Ghidorah was powerful enough to overpower Godzilla, that is until after Mothra defeated Rodan, she sacrificed herself by transferring her powers to him, giving the power he needs to take down King Ghidorah.

Megumi: Ooh! And he's gonna fight Kong in 2020!

Toomi: Being a Kaiju himself, Godzilla possesses thick near invulnerable skin, with conventional tank fire and missiles and was stated to have survived exposure to the nuclear tests carried out in the South Pacific in the 1950s, even appearing to have withstood the detonation of Castle Bravo, a 15-megaton hydrogen bomb, at Bikini Atoll while directly next to the bomb.

Sachi: Godzilla also possesses incredible strength, being able to smash through buildings with ease and even throw down MUTOs without difficultly. But his tail possesses an impressive amount of force, with a single swing being able to kill a male MUTO.

Megumi: And like any Godzilla, this Godzilla possesses the siganture Atomic Breath.

Sachi: And while Godzilla is slow on land, he possesses great speed when swimming underwater and was fast enough to react against enemies as fast as the Male MUTO

Toomi: As with his previous incarnations, Godzilla can release pulses of radioactive energy. He first demonstrated this in Godzilla: King of the Monsters where, after absorbing the radiation of a nuclear blast and Mothra's life force, Godzilla starts to heat up and glow fiery red, burning and melting objects in his vicinity while becoming completely immune to Ghidorah's gravity beams.

Sachi: This energy overload grants him control over tremendously powerful thermonuclear pulses that incinerates most of Ghidorah's body and a large portion of Boston with him.

Megumi: Godzilla is also able to overpower the male MUTO and his nuclear blast is more than powerful enough to incinerate a Shinomura.

Toomi: It's also worth to note that even weakened, the nuclear blast if more than powerful enough to severely injured and even decapitate the female MUTO as well.

Toomi: However, this Godzilla is also no exception to weaknesses. This Godzilla's weak point is his gills as striking them at any point can severely injure Godzilla.

Megumi: And like the first Godzilla, this Godzilla is also weak against the Oxygen Destroyer, with the super weapon injuring him to the point he was forced to retreat back underwater to recover.

Toomi: It's also worth to note that Godzilla can be overwhelmed if fighting against numerous foes on his own, as seen when he fought against the MUTOs, he couldn't predict, nor block, their blows in a two-on-one situation. Heck, the same situation occured during his fight against King Ghidorah

Sachi: And he has short stubby arms which makes it hard for him to reach any enemies that attacks his head.

Megumi: But one thing's for sure, this Godzilla will prove he is deserving of the title King of the Monsters

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Megumi: Yeah, but right now, it's time for a Death Battle!

In the dark bleak city of Japan, fire blazes across the city just as Shin Godzilla's thunderous footsteps booms across the metropolis, his bulk for a body stepping through the fire.

THOOM!!! THOOM!!! THOOM!!!

Shin Godzilla rears back his shrivelled head, letting out one mighty bellow.

Shin Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEEONK!!!

However, right at that moment...

THOOM!!!

Shin Godzilla turns his head back, listening as loud thunderous footsteps closes in onto him.

<Cue: Battle in Boston by Bear McGreary>

THOOM!!! THOOM!!!

BOOM!!!

Loud thunder crackles across the sky as a brief flash of lightning reveals a rather large and muscular reptilian creature staring back at Shin, it's eyes glowing in fury.

The creature thrusts it's head out, letting out one loud roar across the city.

Legendary Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEONK!!!

Announcer: Fight!

Shin Godzilla steps forward, barely paying attention to the newcomer just as Legendary Godzilla sprints forward, slamming bodyfirst into the other Godzilla.

BAM!!!

The sheer impact of the blow causes Shin Godzilla to let out a loud roar of agony.

Shin Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEEONK!!!

Legendary Godzilla claws at the creature's hide before opening his jaws, biting down onto Shin Godzilla's body.

CHOMP!!!

Shin Godzilla's spikes began glowing brightly just as he opens his jaws, sending a powerful blast of fumes onto Legendary Godzilla.

WHOOM!!!

Legendary Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEONK!!!

Shin Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEONK!!!

Shin Godzilla spun around, swinging his tail across the air before striking it right into Legendary Godzilla's face.

WHAM!!!

Just as Legendary Godzilla falls backfirst into a building, Shin Godzilla turns his body back, sending a powerful stream of nuclear blasts from his spikes right at him.

VREEEEEEE!!!

THOOM!!!

Shockwaves booms across the city as fire erupts all over Legendary Godzilla, causing the Titan to let out a loud roar.

Legendary Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEEEONK!!!

Angered, Legendary Godzilla's spikes began glowing bright blue, the light travelling up his dorsal plates.

WHOOM!!!

Just as Shin Godzilla steps forward, Legendary Godzilla thrusts his body outwards, sending a powerful nuclear blast right at his opponent.

THOOM!!!

KABOOM!!!

The magnitude of the blast caused a massive radius-ranged explosion all over Shin Godzilla, causing the monster to roar out in agony.

Shin Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEEONK!!!

Legendary Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEONK!!!

Legendary Godzilla sprints forward, slamming bodyfirst into the monster.

BOOM!!!

Shin Godzilla opens his jaws, his fang riddled jaw biting down onto the Kaiju, drawing blood from the blood.

CHOMP!!!

Legendary Godzilla: SKREEEEEEONK!!!

Legendary Godzilla opens his jaws, biting down onto Shin Godzilla's hands, instantly decapitating them with a single bite.

<Cue: Godzilla: Battle Legendas-VS Super X 2 OST>

CHOMP!!!

The sheer agony of the loss of his arm sends Shin Godzilla stumbling back, roaring out in agony as blood spills from his wound.

Shin Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEEONK!!!

Legendary Godzilla spits out the arm, his head turning to face Shin.

However, Shin Godzilla is still far from defeated.

Right at that moment, Shin Godzilla's jaws open but to Legendary Godzilla's horror, Shin Godzilla's lower jaw began dissecting into two.

SLURCH!!!

Before Legendary Godzilla could react, a powerful thin stream of laser launches out of the Kaiju's jaw, slicing right through the buildings at a powerful magnitude of force.

VREEEEEEE!!!

Legendary Godzilla ducks his head down, grimacing in pain as he felt the nuclear blast slicing right through the top of his dorsal plate.

As Shin Godzilla's nuclear blast continues firing, right at that moment, the intensity of the blast began increasing by a handful, transforming from a thin laser into a massive pulse of nuclear energy, sending the entire city into an explosion of flames.

KABOOM!!! KABOOM!!!

FWOOM!!!

Legendary Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEEONK!!!

Legendary Godzilla roars out in agony as the powerful nuclear blast tore through his body, singing from the magnitude of the blast.

FWOOM!!!

Slowly, Shin Godzilla's nuclear pulse began transforming into a supernova of nuclear fire before fading into a gust of smoke.

As the smoke dies down, Shin Godzilla stood back up, letting out one victorious roar.

Shin Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEEEONK!!!

FWOOM!!! KABOOM!!!

The Kaiju stands motionless in the middle of the blazing city, the sheer power of his last attack has reduced the entire city into a nuclear wasteland in a matter of minutes.

However, the last attack has also exhausted Shin Godzilla of his energy completely, causing the Kaiju's eyes to blacken as his head droop downwards, entering the stage of dormancy.

BOOM!!!

As Shin Godzilla stood motionless, resting to recuperate his energy, he is unaware of a fuming figure rising from the flames, his entire body burning with crimson nuclear energy.

FWOOSH!!!

Legendary Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEEONK!!!

Legendary Godzilla lets out one loud roar of agony, before thrusting his head back, launching a powwerful nuclear blast up into the sky.

BWOOOOSSHHHHH!!!

With the amount of radiation emitting around him, Legendary Godzilla is now completely recharged, ready to finish off his opponent.

<Cue: Hands to Myself by Selena Gomez, listen from 2:43-3:20>

SHOOM!!!

A powerful nuclear blast launches from the jaw of Legendary Godzilla, striking Shin Godzilla straight in the chest.

BOOM!!!

The sheer impact of the blow immediately woke Shin Godzilla from his trance, causing the Kaiju to let out a roar of agony.

Shin Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEONK!!!

Legendary Godzilla turns around, a powerful radiation stream launches from his back straight into Shin Godzilla.

WHOOSH!!!

KABOOM!!!

The left half of Shin Godzilla's entire body exploded into an explosion of blood and gore, causing the Kaiju to cough out blood in the process of roaring.

Shin Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEENNNK!!!

Legendary Godzilla's body began glowing bright red, nuclear energy radiating from him as the power within him continues growing further.

WHOOM!!! WHOOM!!! WHOOM!!! WHOOM!!!

And in that final moment...

Legendary Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEEEEEEONK!!!

BUUUSSSHHHHHHH!!!

A powerful magnitude of radiation explodes around Godzilla, the sound of a familiar shriek fills the air as fire of what looks like the wings of a moth travels right across Shin Godzilla's body.

CHEEEEERNT!!!

Shin Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEEONK!!!

Shin Godzilla lets out one final roar as his entire body disintergrates from the blast of the explosion, reducing into ashes before going off in a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

As the explosion dies down, the crimson nuclear energy around his body slowly fades as Godzilla lets out a loud sigh of exhaustion, completely exhausted from the battle.

The King of the Monsters stood on the top of a large plateau, watching just as various other monsters began making their way towards him. Scylla, Behemoth, Methusulah, MUTO 3 and even Rodan.

As the monsters began bowing down in respect, Godzilla rears his head up, letting out one final loud roar to announce his title as the True King of the Monsters

Legendary Godzilla: SKREEEEEEEEONK!!!

However, unknown to Godzilla and the other Titans, the short stub of what used to be Shin Godzilla lay on the ground, shifting and morphing before forming bulges of what looks like the heads of Legendary Godzilla.

KO!

<Cue: New Earth by Bruce Falconer>

Megumi: Damn. That's gonna go down in history as a truly magnificent Kaiju fight.

Toomi: Shin Godzilla is a challenging foe, having the adaptability skill and even a more powerful magnitude of nuclear blast but Legendary Godzilla far trumps him in almost every other category.

Sachi: I mean, that Godzilla has lived eons hunting and killing other Titans while Shin Godzilla though is as prehistoric as he is, was never going around killing Kaijus much less fighting any

Megumi: I agree, Shin Godzilla has never really fought any Kaijus while Legendary Godzilla has defeated two MUTOs and even King Ghidorah, who are so much stronger than Shin.

Toomi: I know what some of you are thinking, if Shin Godzilla's nuclear blast is powerful, then how come he is unable to kill Legendary Godzilla?

Sachi: Well the answer lies in Legendary Godzilla's ability to absorb radiation. I mean it took a nuclear warhead to return him back to full power and Shin Godzilla's atomic blast emits exactly the same type of radiation.

Megumi: And with super short stubby arms, Shin Godzilla is not really combat ready to deal against Legendary Godzilla who is a close combat kind of fighter who uses his claws and teeth.

Toomi: And the one final disadvantage Shin Godzilla has is his state of dormancy. Once Shin Godzilla wastes his power, he would go into the state of dormancy, even once slept for 15 days straight which of course gave the humans enough time to plan ways to kill him.

Sachi: And such a state is a big disadvantage in any battle as Legendary Godzilla can use that to his advantage to finish off Shin Godzilla once and for all.

Toomi: By having the advantage in combat skills, durability, stamina and firepower, this is what gives Legendary Godzilla the title of the King of the Monsters

Megumi: Sorry Shin, but in this Legendary fight, there can only be one King of the Monsters

Sachi: The winner is Legendary Godzilla

Megumi: Fair enough. You win this one America.

Legendary Godzilla: SKREEEEEEONK!!!
