Mortal Kombat vs Marvel, two undead warriors from hell goes out in a blazing fight for vengeance

Toomi: Vengeance is a strong feeling, especially if you want to exact it on all those who have done both you and everyone wrong

Megumi: And what creatures are way better at doing it than two flaming skulls?

Toomi: Such as Scorpion, Grand Master of the Shirai Ryu,

Megumi: And Ghost Rider, the Spirit of Vengeance, she's Sachi-san, Toomi-san and I'm Megumi-san

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Scorpion Gets Over Here for a What if Battle

<Cue: Real World by The All-American Rejects     >

Toomi: Born in the clan of the Shirai Ryu, Hanzo Hasashi bears great resentment towards the Lin Kuei clan

Megumi: For centuries, those two clans fought until Sub-Zero killed him along with his son and wife.

Sachi: With the help from the necromancer Quan Chi, Hanzo Hasashi then returns as the flaming ninja by the name of Scorpion

Scorpion: Vengeance will be mine!

Megumi: And during the first Mortal Kombat tournament, Scorpion then fought Sub-Zero and boy does fire melt ice.

Sachi: But in the end, Sub-Zero's younger brother Kuai Liang eventually beaten him

Toomi: At the end of the second tournament, Scorpion then took on a student named Takahashi Takeda and he eventually learned that the real person responsible for the death of his family is not Sub-Zero but rather, the sorcerer Quan Chi.

Megumi: And our boy Scorpion then gets his sweet revenge

Toomi: And after Shinnok's defeat at the hands of Cassie Cage, Scorpion and Sub-Zero then allied themselves alongside the Earth Realm defenders, battling against Kronika and her thralls

Megumi: But the sad part is that when Scorpion faced his younger self, D'Vorah went and kill him before the younger Scorpion defeats her, becoming the new Grandmaster and then allying with a now amped up Fire God Liu Kang to defeat Kronika

Toomi: Being trained in the arts of the Ninjutsu, Scorpion is well-skilled in martial arts like Pi Gua, Hapkido, and Moi Fah

Sachi: And when he is a wraith, he gains the ability to teleport, summon Hellfire and even immortality, making him immune to any physical harm.

Megumi: But the best part of his arsenal is his spear, the one where he throws it at his opponent and goes like "Get Over Here!" Before pulling his enemies close

Toomi: That Megumi is based off an ancient assassination weapon known as the Rope Dart, a weapon that is extremely hard to master.

Sachi: With all that power, Scorpion is one formidable foe in the Mortal Kombat universe, being able to defeat the likes of Nightwolf, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, D'Vorah and even go toe to toe with Raiden himself.

Megumi: Heck, he could even best himself.

Toomi: Scorpion's kunai is also strong enough to impale a helicopter and during his fight with Kenshi, he was even able to tank getting hit by a shipping container. Now note that  an empty 20 foot shipping container weighs between 1.8-2.2 metric tonnes. And assuming that it contains things, we can prove that Scorpion literally took a beating from something a whole lot heavier. And he was already restored as a normal human at that time which makes that feat a whole lot impressive.

Feats

Beat up Raiden, a god who can create massive and destructive thunderstorms. Raiden is on the same power level as Fujin, who stated that he could tear down a mountain, further reinforcing Scorpion's strength against deities.

Defeated and heavily wounded an empowered Sub-Zero who could flash freeze entire buildings and shatter them in one punch. 

Broke out of Sub-Zero's ice with physical strength. Keep in mind his ice is capable of withstanding an explosion that destroyed the entire underground base for the Cyber Lin Kuei which is large enough to contain an army.

Can rip out spines which require 1 million Newtons/102 tons of force. One example of this feat was when he ironically performed the fatality on the Elder Sub-Zero. 

Can yank off heads with his spear using one hand.

Can shatter diamond blocks and titanium figures with a single chop like all kombatants.

Defeated Kung Lao, who also defeated Kintaro. who tanked a massive nuclear blast. 

Fought on par with Taven, who bested Raiden, a god capable of destroying an entire temple with a self destructive blast.

Tanked getting telekinetically slammed into a shipping container by Kenshi and also tanked getting tossed several meters into the air and thrown to a truck. He was unfazed from this.

Oneshotted Hsu Hao. 

Withstood multiple shock treatments from Raiden 

Shattered Havik's knees and brutally beat up his head to a pulp. 

Bested and killed his demonic self

Blitzed and punched himself 3 times within the time that the ripple of the first punch was still fresh when he finished. 

Grabbed Takeda before Raiden's lightning could shock him. Note that the lightning was continuous and lightning can move up to Mach 1282.8 

Moves fast enough in combat to appear as a blur. 

Kept up with Sub-Zero in combat , a combatant who can dodge explosions. Keep in mind that explosions can move up to Mach 23 speeds.

Blitzed multiple Special Forces soldiers

Knowledgeable in his native language and fluent in English.

Wise and skilled enough to train and teach an entire group of survivors of the Netherrealm war to become trained assassins.

Bested a bloodlusted Raiden in combat, a god who knows 750 forms of Jujitsu and has been defending Earthrealm against Shao Kahn and Shinnok for millenium

Defeated Kung Lao, Nightwolf, *Cyrax, *Sektor, (In their human forms) and Bi-Han/Noob Saibot

Re-established the Shirai Ryu after being relieved from his revenant form.

Trained Takeda Takahashi (10 years)

Killed his own evil spirit clone with his Fatality (Stop Ahead) (MKX Comics)

Avoided Frost's ambush attack, knocked her out in combat and beat Sub-Zero (5 years earlier)

Defeated Sonya, Kenshi and Johnny.

Survived D'Vorah's sting attack.

Killed Quan Chi.

Sachi: And his best feat is by gaining his revenge by executing Quan Chi, a Necromancer powerful enough to resurrect entire armies into zombie demons

Megumi: And is it considered a feat to mention that Scorpion is Ed Boon's personal favourite character?

Toomi: Though Scorpion is strong, sadly he is far from being the most powerful combatant in the Mortal Kombat universe. Having lost in battle against Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Sub-Zero, Raiden and even D'Vorah

Megumi: And that guy can't really cook. Like at all.

Ghost Rider Burns Rubber into What if Battles

Toomi: Johnny Blaze is a stunt daredevil who spent his early years in the Quentin Carnival as the apprentice of Craig "Crash" Simpson with feelings for his mentor's daughter Roxanne.

Megumi: But at the age of 17, learning Crash has cancer, Johnny is visited by the demon Mephisto who offers to cure Crash in exchange for Blaze's soul to which he hastily accepts.

Sachi: Though Crash is at healthy as an ox the next day, he dies in a freak accident during a stunt with Johnny realizing too late that the devil never promised to save his mentor's life.

Toomi: Mephisto considering their contract to be fulfilled, Johnny is forced to leave everything behind as he becomes the latest in a line of hellspawn bounty hunters sent to retrieve damned souls and rogue demons: The Ghost Rider.

Ghost Rider: Sorry, all out of mercy

Megumi: And with that power, Ghost Rider then drove across the town, hunting down the demon Blackheart before destroying him.

Toomi: Being trained since a young age, Johnny Blaze is a skilled stunt rider, being able to perform near impossible stunts with his motorcycle

Sachi: And as Ghost Rider, Johnny gained superhuman strength, agility and durability, being almost immune to any form of agony

Megumi: And he also knows the sins of the ones who committed them and this is his most dangerous move, the penance stare

Toomi: The Penance Stare is a supernatural power which allows Ghost Rider to force his enemies to feel and experience the pain and agony their victims felt, letting them know how their victims feel when the said villain caused the pain

Megumi: Wait, so that time when I poured laxatives into Calie Liddle's coffee, does that mean I would have the runs like she did?

Toomi: No, but you would feel the same kind of pain and humiliation she had suffered.

Megumi: Note to self, she must never know.

Deadpool: Too late. Already tweeted it!

Deadpool: Oh hey Megumi, hope you shall be expecting a little visit from Johnny boy later.

Sachi: Anyway, Ghost Rider is also equipped with a mystic chain which he can either use as a lasso, staff or even break them apart to form into makeshift shurikens

Toomi: Ghost Rider also has the Hell Cycle, a flaming motorcycle which allows Ghost Rider to cross dimensions, drive on walls and heck it even outraced Mjonir, the very same hammer that crossed the Milky Way in less than a minute

Toomi: And being enhanced by the power of Mephisto, Ghost Rider is powerful enough to go toe to toe with the Hulk, fight on par with Mephisto and even once killed Doctor Strange

Sachi: And his Penance Stare is so powerful to the point it could even work against the likes of Galactus, someone who just likes eating life away.

Toomi: However, though Ghost Rider is certainly tough enough to take blows from World War Hulk, his host Johnny Blaze possesses no superhuman abilities and is thus just as weak as any ordinary man

Megumi: And the human host is exactly how Zarathos is unable to use his full potential so basically, Johnny Blaze's humanity is the only thing holding Ghost Rider back

Sachi: And Johnny has lost possession of the Spirit of Vengeance multiple times

Weakness

Has lost possession of Spirit of Vengeance multiple times

While the Spirit of Vengeance is immortal the host body is not. Meaning Johnny Blaze still has the same weaknesses as any mortal man

Due to having a human host Zarathos can't use his power to his fullest potential

Can be killed by having his Hellfire taken out of him 

Is harmed by powerful magic

Penance Stare backfired against certain individuals; sometimes for unorthodox reasons

The blind, mentally unstable, those under the influence of drugs, those without souls, those that have their souls protected, those bonded to symbiotes, those that don't regret their actions, those that enjoy the death and pain of others, those that have multiple eyes, and those who genuinely believe they are doing what's right

Does the exact opposite for Blackheart actually increasing his potential since Misdeed is the source of his power

Thanos is affected by the Penance Stare, but he takes extreme pleasure from it instead 

Can be harmed by weapons forged in heaven

Technically can only punish the guilty such as the case with World War Hulk who was wronged by the Illuminati and is the innocent one

Even the mere thought of hitting someone is enough to draw the Ghost Rider's attention

Can only turn into Ghost Rider at night

Toomi: And as the Penance Stare does not work on certain individuals, especially those who has shown no form of regrets or even Symbiotes who has no eyes for Ghost Rider to even stare in

Sachi: And it does not work against Thanos, the Mad Titan who literally jerks off to suffering.

Megumi: 

Ghost Rider: They call me Ghost Rider, I am summoned when innocent blood is shed, and you have shed much innocent blood.

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Sachi: Don't forget to vote, comment what you think of the fight.

Megumi: Yeah, but right now, it's time for a Death Battle!

Special Forces Base

In the secluded base of Earthrealm's special forces, the sound of a loud explosion immediately shattered the tranquility of the night.

KABOOM!!!

Lying on the ground, Cassie Cage groans as she struggles to rise, only for Scorpion to grab her by the neck, lifting her up.

Scorpion clenches his fist, hellfire blazing around it as the ninja says.

Scorpion: For Kronika's new era, you shall be annihilated!

However, right at that moment, Scorpion heard the sounds of a roaring engines, causing him to turn around.

Driving right towards the ninja, a figure cladded in black with fire emitting from both his skull and the wheels of his vehicle closes in, announcing his presence.

<Cue: Young by Hollywood Undead>

Ghost Rider: They call me Ghost Rider, I am summoned when innocent blood is shed and much has been shed.

Scorpion: Fool!

Scorpion tosses Cassie's crumblesome body aside and he disappears in a burst of flames.

FWOOSH!!!

Scorpion reappears right above Ghost Rider, thrusting his leg downwards right as the announcer announces the beginning of the battle

Announcer: Fight!

BAM!!!

Scorpion's foot struck Ghost Rider in the chest, sending the Spirit of Vengeance tumbling across the floor.

As Ghost Rider pushes himself up, Scorpion thrusts his arm out, throwing his kunai right at him.

Scorpion: Get Over Here!

Twip!

However, right as the kunai closes in, Ghost Rider catches the projectile with his palm, casually watching as Scorpion struggles to pull his opponent towards him.

Scorpion: Come Here!

Ghost Rider: Chains? How cute.

CLING!!!

Ghost Rider pulls out his mystic chain and he swings it forward, wrapping it around Scorpion's body.

TWIP!!! TWIP!!!

Scorpion: What?!

Ghost Rider forcefully tugs his chains, pulling Scorpion towards him before throwing a single punch right into his cheek.

BAM!!!

CRACK!!!

Upon contact, Scorpion felt his jaw crack against the impact just as he is sent crashing into a crate.

CRASH!!!

Ghost Rider steps towards Scorpion, saying to him,

Ghost Rider: I sensed a great deal of sin within you.

However, right as Ghost Rider closes in, right at that moment, Scorpion disappears in a burst of flames.

FWOOSH!!!

Before Ghost Rider could react, Scorpion reappears right behind the Spirit of Vengeance, striking him square in the cheekbone.

WHAM!!!

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Scorpion strikes at Ghost Rider repeatly before pulling out his kunai, shoving it right into the Spirit of Vengeance's chest.

SHOK!!!

Scorpion: You shall burn!

FWOOM!!!

A burst of hellfire blazes around both Scorpion and Ghost Rider just as the ninja pulls the flaming skeleton down, the two descending into the fiery pits of the Netherrealm.

Netherrealm

In the scorching land of the dead, Scorpion reappears right in midair before flipping around, throwing Ghost Rider onto the floor.

THUMP!!!

As Ghost Rider pushes himself up, Scorpion raises up his hand, causing the floor below Ghost Rider to exploded in a burst of fire.

FWOOM!!!

Scorpion: Ha ha ha!

Scorpion cackles out maliciously, only for his moment of triumph to be interrupted by a voice saying.

Ghost Rider: Sorry pal. That won't work on me.

Scorpion ceases his laughter and he watches just as something large exploded out of the hellfire, driving towards him at what seems like the speed of light.

VROOMMMM!!!

Scorpion raises up his arms, shielding himself just as the Hell Cycle slams right into him.

BAM!!!

As Scorpion drops onto the floor, Ghost Rider drives across the scorching hot floor, before turning around, driving back towards the ninja.

VROOOMMM!!!

Scorpion pushes himself up, his body instantly disappears into a burst of flames.

FWOOSH!!!

Ghost Rider jumps off his Hell Cycle, letting his vehicle drive away automatically before turning around, raising his arm up right as Scorpion reappears behind him, swinging his katana down.

CLANG!!!

The blade instantly broke upon touching Ghost Rider's arm, causing the Spirit of Vengeance to say.

Ghost Rider: You shall pay for your sins!

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Ghost Rider strikes at Scorpion repeatly before grabbing his arm, throwing him down onto the floor.

BAM!!!

Scorpion thrusts his legs out, striking Ghost Rider in the chest.

WHAM!!!

Scorpion jumps up, and the two flaming skeletons began throwing their arms outwards, exchanging punches amongst themselves.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Ghost Rider swerves his head back, dodging a right hook from Scorpion before swinging his head forward, slamming it right into Scorpion's forehead.

BAM!!!

Scorpion stumbles back before pulling out his veil, opening his mouth cavity before unleashing a torrent of hellfire down onto Ghost Rider.

FWOOSH!!!

Almost immediately, Ghost Rider's entire body erupts into an explosion of fire, burning everything around him.

FWOOM!!!

Scorpion watches the burning Ghost Rider, saying to him.

Scorpion: Now you feel the heat of my fire.

Ghost Rider: Long you have played with fire, boy. But now you're playing with Hellfire!

FWOOM!!!

The burst of fire went off in an blazing explosion just as Ghost Rider steps out of the inferno, throwing his mystic chain at him.

CLING!!!

TWIP!!!

The chain wrapped itself around Scorpion's neck as Ghost Rider commands out.

Ghost Rider: Get Over Here!

WHOOSH!!!

Scorpion's entire body was sent flying through the air before roughly slamming into Ghost Rider's palms, the Spirit of Vengeance pulling the ninja close to his face until he found himself staring eye to eye into his opponent's empty socket, the sockets of Zarathos

Zarathos: I AM HERE TO WREAK VENGEANCE UPON YOUR SOUL!!!

<Cue: Ghost by Katy Perry, listen from 3:01 to 3:18>

FWOOM!!!

Scorpion: No! No!

Scorpion screams out in terror as memories of him killing Sub-Zero, him slaughtering people and him kneeling to Quan Chi flashes across his mind, sending a sharp feeling of agony cutting into his brain.

Scorpion: NNNOOOOOOOO!!!

Scorpion screams out in agony, clutching his head just as his eyes turns into a shade of black, smoke sizzling from his irises.

PHHSSSSSS!!!

With his opponent defeated, Ghost Rider tosses Scorpion's lifeless body into the pool of lava.

SPLASH!!!

As Scorpion's body burns and sinks into the flaming hot liquid, Ghost Rider's Hell Cycle halts next to him as the flaming skeleton declares.

Ghost Rider: Nothing can stop the Spirit of Vengeance from inflicting pain upon all those who threaten the innocent

Ghost Rider then sits on the seat of his Hell Cycle before igniting it's engine, driving away into the depths of the Netherrealm

VRRROOOOMMMM!!!

KO!

Megumi: Holy shit! Someone call Netherrealm! We really need Ghost Rider in Mortal Kombat now!

Toomi: Scorpion may have an advantage in terms of martial arts and is certainly strong enough to hold his own against the likes of Raiden. But Ghost Rider scales over the likes of those beings, being able to defeat Black Heart who can fight against Thor.

Sachi: You guys remember how powerful  Zarathos was? Zarathos was an equal threat to Mephisto, whose battles tore apart the universe. Once the Ghost Rider released his true power, Scorpion held no advantage over him.

Megumi: I mean if you think about it, World War Hulk can't kill Ghost Rider, Thor can't kill Ghost Rider and not even Mephisto could do it so it's safe to say that none of Scorpion's fatalities would even work on him.

Sachi: And even though Scorpion is certainly tough enough to take blows from powerful combatants, he is unsurprisingly no match against Raiden and his win-loss records has shown that Scorpion has lost against lesser opponents.

Toomi: And the biggest game changer is Ghost Rider's Penance Stare. Due to Scorpion's guilt over the unnecessary death he has caused over the lost of his family, not to mention his sadness in his own failure to save his family and the anger he felt with being cheated, Ghost Rider is able to use those to his advantage to officially finish the fire ninja off once and for all

Megumi: Hell  Scorpion should have known better than to engage in this stare down

Sachi: The winner is Ghost Rider

Ghost Rider: You make deals with the devil. Sometimes you end up with him
