Toomi: The world is full of strange parasitic creatures that often times needs a host to reproduce

Megumi: And these three are chosen for unknown reasons

Toomi: Like Ken Kaneki, the Tokyo Ghoul

Megumi: And Shinichi Izumi, the human host of Migi, 

Sachi: And Lucy, the messed up murder lady from Elfen Lied.

Megumi: She's Sachi-san, Toomi-san and I'm Megumi-san

Toomi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Ken Kaneki 'ghouls' to What if Battles

<Cue: Pain by Three Days Grace>

Toomi: College freshman and bookworm Ken Kaneki dated a girl named Rize, who revealed herself to be a ghoul, a race that resembles humans in every way, save for their exclusive diet of human flesh.

Megumi: But luckily for him, Rize was killed by falling debris.

Sachi: But heavily injured, Kaneki was forced to have his organs replaced with Rize's, turning him into a human-ghoul hybrid

Kaneki: I am...a ghoul

Toomi: At first, Kaneki struggled to satisfy his newfound hunger without losing his humanity. He had to learn how to adapt to life as a ghoul while avoiding dangers like investigators and hostile ghouls with the guidance of friendly ghouls working at a local coffee shop named Anteiku.

Megumi:  However, he was one day kidnapped and tortured relentlessly, leading him to abandon his pacifist beliefs and fully embrace his ghoul nature.

Sachi: After bringing the fight to those who tormented him, he was eventually captured after losing terribly to Kishou Arima and tortured once more by the investigators of the CCG, leaving him amnesiac.

Toomi: This caused him to adopt a new persona as Haise Sasaki, an investigator within the anti-ghoul CCG in command of the Quinx Squad, a special team consisting of humans who have gained repressed ghoul abilities via surgery.

Megumi: Constantly tormented by a mental hallucination of the man he was before, Kaneki eventually regained his memories and developed yet another darker persona known as "Black Reaper" in order to put a dramatic close to his own story.

Sachi: But following a final battle against Arima, Kaneki discovered that he was the prophesized "One-Eyed King" fated to unite ghouls and humans. With a new purpose in life, Kaneki formed a new organization alongside his allies named "Goat" dedicated to creating a world where ghouls and humans can coexist in peace.

Toomi: Being a ghoul, Kaneki can form Kagune. bodily-generated constructs formed from Rc cells, which flow like liquid, but can solidify on will.

Megumi: As it turns out, Rc cells are found in both humans and ghouls, but only ghouls can channel them from their bodies naturally as kagune through a kakuhou organ. So what is their only way to get it? Why eating humans of course. I mean why do we have those if we can't use them?

Sachi: With the Kagune, he can form tendrils known as Rinkaku, which are super strong, really fast and has a very high regenerative ability

Megumi: They can form replacement limbs, blades, and even cages to entrap his enemies.

Toomi: And because of Kaneki's resistance into eating human flesh, he was forced to cannibalize on other ghouls to satisfy his craving. And by doing that, he was able to create an alternate armor-type Kagune known as Kakuja.

Sachi: He's held his own against Takizawa, a one-eyed ghoul like himself, but twice as crazy, and he's even took on the One-Eyed Owl, Eto and won, tearing her giant kakuja apart!

Sachi: As a result, he only activates this ability as a final resort. But even when not using his kakuja, Kaneki isn't the most mentally well of people.

Megumi: This guy changes personalities like he changes socks, suffers from hallucinations every other Tuesday, and most of the time, his own ghoul nature can be both his biggest strength and weakness at the same time.

Toomi: Shinichi Izumi is just an average kid, going to school, mixing with friends and even being reckless

Megumi: But all that changed when a parasite sneaks into his room, wanting to eat his brains.

Sachi: Though it failed, Shinichi began to realize that the symbiote has eaten his right arm and has replaced it, and thus naming itself Migi.

Migi: Moving forward, we should cooperate and coexist

Megumi: Shinichi is initially weak, letting Migi do all the fighting and continues to stay like this until his mother is killed by a parasite.

Toomi: The parasite eventually finds Shinichi's home and then supposedly kills him, stabbing him through the heart. Migi then attempts to save Shinichi's life giving him incredible strength, physically and mentally.

Sachi: Afterwards, Shinichi also begins to harbor great hatred towards parasites and declares to wipe them all out. He begins fighting along Migi which greatly increases their strength.

Toomi: Being two separate entities gives Migi and Shinichi a two-on-one advantage in most fights and can allow them to confer with each other to strategize. 

Sachi: Migi, like most parasites, is fully capable of transforming into a weapon to fight off other parasites and feels no emotions or remorse in killing his own kind to survive.

Megumi: Migi can harden his body and become muscular, resulting in increased strength and precision of Shinichi's right arm.

Toomi: Throughout the series Migi has been shown to shape-shift into various objects and forms, however, the main combat forms include a bladed whip-like appendage a sword, Shinichi for whilst Migi was sleeping

Megumi: And a muscular arm, accomplished by adding his own strength to Shinichi's. This form allows Migi and Shinichi to throw a rock around 300 meters with enough power and accuracy to punch a hole in another parasite's chest.

Sachi: After being saved by Migi from dying, Shinichi developed his own powers because of having 30% of Migi's body unexpectedly dispersed as cells throughout his body. Shinichi can hear, see and sense better than normal humans that his physical abilities greatly exceed those of normal humans.

Megumi: In the anime, Shinichi originally needed glasses to see, but after Migi, Shinichi no longer needed them. Man, that must be pretty neat if there's some kind of alien force that can cure myopia

Toomi: At the cost of his newfound abilities, Shinichi's empty expressions and lack of emotions began to make people suspicious of his composure in events that would cause a normal person to break down in fear.

Sachi: Not only that but Shinichi even losted the ability to cry, as shown that Kana Kimishima death barely saddens him

Sachi: And Migi also began developing a habit of sleeping for about 4 hours a day which means he is unable to see everything in the outside world though Shinichi can still change his shape to fight without him

Megumi: But after everything that those things put him through, Shinichi and Migi will do everything it takes to wipe out the Parasytes.

Shinichi: I will eat you alive!

Lucy Vectors into What if Battles

Toomi: Born to an unknown mom and dad, Lucy was a Diclonius, horned beings who have invisible limbs that can stretch far and dismember anything!

Sachi: Being abandoned at a young age, she was bullied and neglected by other children! Her only friend was a puppy that she took care of.

Megumi: But then that puppy got beaten to death by a group of bullies, man these kids are messed up! Go ahead Lucy, kill them all!

Megumi: Damn! Someone hook John Wick up with her!

Toomi: After that little killing spree, Lucy then left the orphanage before she met a boy named Kouta. Unlike many others, Kouta found intrigue in Lucy's horns and became her friend, the two got along pretty fine until the day Kouta had to leave as he was actually visiting his cousin.

Megumi: But when Kouta was going to leave, Lucy then went on and killed his sister and father. Man, Yanderes at their finest.

Sachi: Living with regret of her actions, Lucy once again ran away until she was captured by a scientific group bound on recreating Diclonius cells to end the existence of humanity. She was held captive for a long time until she managed to escape well naked leaving a trail of mangled corpses.

Sachi: She was almost home free until she got sniped in the head which caused her amnesia and developing an alter ego known as Nyu

Toomi: Lucy's true nature laid dormant, but every time she would get knocked in the head, her more violent self would awaken and kill anyone pestering her.

Megumi: Lucy was eventually taken prisoner by the facility chasing her, and she learned that she was a queen diclonius, who is the key to the plan to eradicate the humans. But don't worry, she escaped again returning to Kouta.

Sachi: Except he didn't really forgive her. But he told her to stop killing

Megumi: Which would have been easy if it wasn't for the fact that she has to face an entire army of soldiers, which forced her to push her body to the limit and she eventually started to melt down, literally. 

Toomi: Her murderous instinct started to kick in, but she begged Kouta to kill her as she didn't want to kill again, and eventually she did die

Sachi: That just awful. I really wish people would just empathize with her more

Toomi: Being a Diclonius queen, Lucy is meant to use these vectors to infect ordinary human beings with the diclonius virus.

Megumi: Oh, but she uses them for so much more.

Toomi: For simplicity's sake, think of the vectors as invisible arms which can sprout from Lucy's back. Lucy can use up to twenty eight vectors, with a normal range of about six to seven feet. When she gets really serious, her horns grow and the vectors get way longer, and stronger.

Toomi: She can vibrate her vectors at different frequencies, and each level of vibration has different effects. At low frequencies, her vectors can pass through objects with no effect. At a medium frequency, the vectors become solid, like extendable hands, while still completely invisible. These can be used as shields, and lift heavy objects.

Sachi: With the third frequency, Lucy turns her vectors into invisible blades, these can cut through people and bend metal.

Megumi:  And with the last and highest frequency, Lucy gets explosive. No, really, at this level, they finally become visible, and can strike with enough force to detonate.

Toomi: The Vectors has proven themselves useful many times, moving fast enough to not only catch bullets but has also been used to slice through cars and even cut right through living people

Sachi:  Even without a vector shield, she's survived a pretty nasty explosion herself, though it did knock her out.

Megumi: Also, if Lucy pushes herself too hard, she... starts to melt. Kinda like ice cream out in the Texas sun, it's not pretty, she's just a big puddle of goop with a face, but she's still a total badass, even at her meltiest.

Weakness

Her horns control her vectors; damaging her horns will cripple her powers. These horns can grow back, but very slowly.

Still needs to protect her brain, horns and heart, even when 'melting'.

Can suffer brain damage, despite her healing factor.

A blow to her head can temporarily weaken or disable her powers.

Is still vulnerable to pain.

Unleashing her full power (Extreme Frequency) literally melts her body; which will eventually kill her if she continues to fight.

Toomi: Not only that but Lucy has also suffered multi-personality disorder, which makes her completel unstable and unpredicatable, especially with Nyu, who is shy, traumatized and has an infantile mentality, makes her vulnerable to enemies

Sachi: And while her Vectors are tough, Lucy as herself is not invulnerable so if anything moves fast enough to bypass her defenses, gg to her.

Megumi: But considering how Lucy will go all out in protecting the person she loved most. Perhaps redemption wasn't so hopeless after all.

Lucy: Did you enjoy this?

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Tokyo Night, last train

Driving through the tracks at Eleven o Clock at night, Shinichi sat alone on the empty cabin, waiting for the train to stop at the next station.

As he is sitting silently, his hand began shifting it's form, forming into a small creature with an elongated eye by the name of Migi.

Shinichi looks down and he asks.

Shinichi: Huh? What's going on Migi.

Migi's eye shifts from left to right before answering grimly

Migi: It's here.

As if on cue, a short figure slams right though the train window, creating an explosion of flying glass sharpnel

CRASH!!!

Shinichi jumps back defensively just as Kaneki lunges forward.

Announcer: Fight!

<Cue: I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing by Aerosmith>

CLANG!!!

However, right as Kaneki's Kagune closes in, Shinichi's arm morphs into a blade-like aspandage and he raises it, shielding himself from the blow.

CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!!

Kagune and tendrils flies across the train cabin as both Shinichi and Kaneki are locked in battle.

Kaneki lunges forward, swinging his Kagune right as Shinichi ducks his body backwards, narrowingly dodging a swing from him.

Kaneki swings himself back,throwing several Kagune shards at Shinichi, sending them impaling right through his body.

SHOK!!! SHOK!!! SHOK!!!

Kaneki: You're mine!

WHOOSH!!!

Kaneki lunges forward, preparing to finish Shinichi off.

However, just as Kaneki closes in...

SHOK!!!

Kaneki: Gah!

Kaneki coughs out in agony, feeling blood dripping down his body.

Right in front of him, a large claw-like aspandage extended from Shinichi just as he coldly said to him.

Shinichi: It's over, give up.

Kaneki: Like hell!

Without warning, Kaneki swings his Kagune blade across, slicing right through Shinichi's chest.

SLASH!!!

Outside

As the fight between Kaneki and Shinichi continues, the train began decelerating as it closes in onto the next station.

Standing right behind the yellow line of the platform, Lucy, now as Nyu stood innocently, waiting just as the train began to halt.

However, right at that moment, a loud thump emits from the inside of the cabin, causing Nyu to jump

Nyu: Nyu?

Nyu watches timidly as crimson red blood splatters against the train window, following by the sound of what sounds like the clashing of metal before the door slides open.

Nyu watches in horror just as Shinichi is sent flying out of the cabin, crashing right through the metal door of a newspaper stand.

CLANG!!!

Nyu turns her head back, watching just as Kaneki steps out of the train, eyeing Nyu intendly.

Kaneki: Leave if you know what's best for you.

Kaneki then launches himself forward, only for Nyu to suddenly switch from her innocent demeanor into that of Lucy's cold glare.

WHOOM!!!

Before Kaneki could even react, Kaneki found himself halt right in the middle of thin air, causing him to exclaim out.

Kaneki: What?!

Lucy: Die.

Kaneki could barely process his thoughts before feeling something as sharp as razor tearing through his body.

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

Kaneki: GAHHHHH!!!

Kaneki coughs out in agony as the Vectors throws him across the air, slamming him backfirst into the train.

BAM!!!

Lucy then faces both Shinichi and Kaneki just as the announcer announces out

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new combatant!

Lucy narrows her eyes as Shinichi thrusts his arms out, sending several sharp tendrils flying towards her.

CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!!

Lucy easily deflects the tendrils with her vectors, moving past them before thrusting one of them forward, slamming Shinichi hard in the chest.

BAM!!!

Shinichi: ARGHHHHHH!!!

As Lucy steps towards him, Shinichi picks up several rocks scattered on the floor before throwing them at her.

Lucy simply catches the rocks in midair before sending one of them flying backwards towards Kaneki.

Kaneki's kagune deflects the rock before launching himself forward, slashing at Lucy repeatly.

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

As Lucy continues to counter his attacks, Kaneki began questioning out.

Kaneki: What the hell is she? Why am I not hitting her?!

SLASH!!! 

Kaneki stumbles back as he felt something slice right through his Kagune before feeling a massive amount of force slamming right into his chest.

WHAM!!!

Kaneki: AAAHHHHH!!!

As Kaneki is sent tumbling back, Shinichi lunges forward, swinging his blade-like tendrils at Kaneki.

CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!!

WHOOSH!!!

Before Kaneki could react, Shinichi closes in onto him, throwing a powerful left hook across his face.

WHAM!!!

Kaneki: GAHHHHH!!!

SHING!!!

Shinichi's arm forms into a blade and the boy swings his weapon across, cutting into Kaneki.

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

Shinichi: It's over!

Just as Shinichi raises up his blade, right at that moment, Kaneki's entire body went off in a burst of red and black.

WHOOM!!!

Before Shinichi could react, several long Kagune lunges forward, slicing right through his limbs.

SHRIPPP!!!

Blood pours right through the air as Migi falls onto the floor, causing Shinichi to let out a bloodcurling scream of agony.

Shinichi: AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!

Without wasting another moment, Kaneki's Kagune continues flying across the air, slicing Shinichi's body relentlessly.

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

Blood pours all over the tiled floor as Kaneki continues to cut Shinichi's body relentlessly, leaving behind nothing but a bloodied and mangled corpse.

Kaneki tosses what was once Shinichi into the train cabin before facing Lucy.

KO!

Kaneki: You...I'm gonna finish you right here!

WHOOSH!!!

Kaneki launches himself forward, sending several Rinkakus at her.

SHRIP!!! SHRIP!!! SHRIP!!!

Lucy quickly backs away, her Vectors parrying each strikes as Kaneki continues with his onslaught.

However, right at that moment, several Vector flies forward, grabbing Kaneki by the Rinkakus.

Lucy: Die.

WHOOSH!!!

Lucy's vectors sends Kaneki flying through the air before slamming him backfirst against the wall.

CRASH!!!

As Lucy holds Kaneki in place, Kaneki grits his teeth as Lucy's Vector began mercilessly cutting right through his flesh.

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

Lucy then lifts Kaneki up into the air before slamming him repeatly onto the ground.

BAM!!! BAM!!! 

As Kaneki's eyes could barely open, his eyes looks up only to find Lucy, with her horns now extended, signififying her identity as the Queen of the Diclonius

Lucy: I really hope this gonna hurt.

Lucy said coldly as her Vectors lunges forward, slamming hard into Kaneki.

BOOM!!!

The sheer impact of the blow creates a massive fiery explosion across the train station, setting everything ablaze

FWOOSH!!!

As the flames dies down, Lucy bends her head down before collasping onto her knees, panting in exhaustion.

KO!

Megumi: Man. I don't recall seeing this much blood in any of our previous battles

Toomi: Shinichi and Kaneki are extremely close in terms of combat skills, strength and speed but unfortunately, Kaneki takes the advantage over him

Sachi: Parasytes may be strong, but Ghouls not only do not need a host to survive, but they have been shown to survive getting blown up, cut into pieces or even stabbed multiple times while a Parasyte though has survive almost similar kind of attacks, has never been shown to regenerate fast enough.

Megumi: And while Shinichi does have better combat skills than the two, most of it comes from Migi. So by separating Migi from his host, the Parsyte will then die and thus enables Kaneki to finish Shinichi off.

Toomi: As for Lucy, though she is not a close combat character like the other two, her Vectors were shown to be powerful enough to cut through steel and even move fast enough to counter past bullet speed, which is what grants her the ability to react against Kaneki

Sachi: I mean her vectors were moving at least 440,000 miles per hour, more than five hundred times the speed of sound, which is a lot faster than Kaneki

Megumi: But the real trouble is putting Kaneki down. With his level of regeneration, it really brings up one question, what does it take to completely kill him?

Toomi: Luckily for her, Lucy has the perfect answer to that. Remember that time she hit an island so hard, she caused a 9.2 magnitude earthquake and a one hundred foot tall tidal wave? Such a feat would require an enormous amount of explosive energy, approximately 31,000 tons of TNT, similar to the bomb that hit Hiroshima.

Megumi: Damn. Sad to say, no Ghouls has been shown to survive that kind of magnitude

Toomi: Having the superiority in speed, attack potency and power, this is what grants Lucy the clear win over Kaneki and Shinichi

Megumi: Looks like Lucy's Syte of Vector-y was the perfect 'Ghoul'

Sachi: The winner is Lucy

Lucy: All this time, I've lived in hope of telling you how sorry I am, I've fought armies, just to have this chance, but now, there's nothing I can say.. That's good enough.
