Toomi:  In Taishō-era Japan, there was a boy named Tanjiro Kamado who lived in the frozen forest and tried to support his family by selling charcoal in the nearest town in order to earn money for his family.

Megumi:  I bet his dad would be happy whatever he was. I wish my dad would give me something good before he left.

Toomi: I am sure he was. Since he is the only one to work hard, the remaining family members have to look after each other including the eldest sister of the family: Nezuko Kamado. She is the poorest of the family as she never buys new clothes so they can get all the food they needed the most.

Megumi: But like any good family at peaceful times, a demon who I'll swear to God looks like Michael Jackson slaughtered his entire family.

Sachi: Almost. Nezuko was the sole survivor of the massacre and she was found by her older brother Tanjiro. He takes Nezuko to a nearby town to get her fixed but then...

Megumi: She turned into a zombie?!

Sachi: Even worst, she got turned into a bloodthirsty demon.

Megumi:  Ok since when turning into a demon by a scratch. If one thing I learn from zombie movies is that a Zombie scratch can turn you into an undead monster.

Toomi: Not how it works in this universe.  A group of demons have been reproduced by a powerful demon named Muzan Kibutsuji who have a special power called Blood Demon Art. This is how Nezuko's Transformation works and the only way to turn her back was to confront the Devil himself.

Megumi: Tanjiro and Nezuko have confronted a demon slayer who spares her and places a bamboo muzzle on her mouth to make sure she never hurts anyone. If I learn in asian culture is that bamboo are the strongest.

Sachi: Despite her brother making a promise to keep her safe, Nezuko being a demon was surprising enough for a 12 years old.

Megumi: Like any demon, she has Superhuman Strength, durability, and Speed.

Toomi: She has a load of abilities that support her such as Size Manipulation, Power Restoration, Power Growth, and sunlight immunity which she doesn't have until later. Her Healing Factor can keep the body going and repair any pieces that have been cut. She has high pain resistance combined with a healing factor to make her a force to be reckoned with.

Megumi: She and other demons resistance to pain that can stagger any human, near limitless stamina, and the Neck was the most durable part of the body. No surprise.

Toomi: But the main power that lies in her was Blood Demon Art: Exploding Blood, where ignited her blood to set on fire that can damage other demons, enhance Tanjiro's Sword and even heal her allies.

Megumi: Exploding Blood? Blood that turns you into a demon? Are you sure that they aren't even Vampires? Are they afraid of the sunlight?

Sachi: Since you mentioned it, that's how the demons get some energy to continue using their powers. Ironic despite the name refer the creature of hell, they avoid the sunlight making restoring their power a bit difficult. Nezuko was a special kind of demon that can restore her strength and power through sleep. She can even somehow change her body to small and big that might affect her strength.

Megumi: But if Nezuko needs to go beyond her humanity, she might unleash the demon within and unlock fully awakened form. This transformation gives Nezuko increased strength, durability, speed, and even faster healing factor.

Toomi: To prove it, Nezuko has fought a demon named Daki who was strong enough to keep up with Tanjiro who cut down a Boulder that's about 0.09 tons of TNT. With That kind of strength, her slashes can cut her limbs and somehow it regenerate at a near-impossible rate that her kicks still have the same impacts before the slashes.

Megumi: If the healing factor was that strong and awesome abilities, I bet they might have incredible speed.

Sachi: True but even better as almost every demon has hypersonic speed both reaction and movement. Tanjiro and other demon slayers nearly died when their attacks are little but noticeable close to their eyes. Judging by the distance, they were 3-4 seconds away from death. With that level of Speed, Nezuko can keep up with upper moon class demons and highly trained demon slayers.

She saved several people, kept up Susamaru's dangerous game of soccer with temari balls, Running very Fast to save Tanjiro in his first encounter with a Demon by kicking it's head off, Overpower Daki despite being critically injured and conquer the sun when have the immunity of sunlight. This girl is unstoppable.

Toomi: However, Nezuko has two weaknesses: Wisteria flowers are poisonous to her and lack of control.

Sachi: Being a demon, Nezuko was one step away from losing her humanity and the fully awakened form has shown that she can attack humans if Tanjiro wasn't there to help her control.

Toomi: Alchemy is the process of transmutation by which to fuse or reunite with the divine or original form which means to purify, mature, and perfect certain materials. In fact, alchemists of old has tried to turn lead into gold with no great results.

Megumi: But in the country of Ametris, the ancient science of alchemy is actually possible, by using the Earth's natural energy to reshape the molecular structure of various objects by you guessed it, by drawing circle thingies.

Sachi: A transmutation circle, which most alchemists use, except for the youthful prodigy, Edward Elric.

Megumi: So when both Edward and Alphonse' mother died, the brothers attempted to use alchemy to bring their mother back, only for this act to have dire consequences. One costing Edward his arm and leg while Alphonse his entire body.

Toomi: The brothers were lucky to have survived but with Alphonse in such a state, so Blood Seal equipped in a metal suit of armor to contain his own soul until Edward can find a way to restore his human body.

Megumi: And having the suit of armor grants Alphonse an advantage in combat such as strengthened offense and defense, imperviability to bullets, inexhaustible stamina, invulnerability against extreme temperatures and an exemption from needing to breathe, eat or sleep.

Sachi: Having trained by Izumi also means that Alphonse is trained in the arts of hand to hand combat, able to hold his own against armed opponents and martial artists, in fact, he has even beaten Edward in combat with the latter admitting that he has never won a single fight against him, even before Izumi's training.

Toomi: But like his brother, Alphonse is skilled in using alchemy, where he can transmute clearly, using it for offensive and defensive capabilities such as crafting weapons for melee strikes and altering his surroundings to gain the advantage by transmuting columns, battering rams, and traps for his enemies

Sachi: While in general, his alchemy is more conventional than that of Edward who often uses it in unusual forms to outsmart his opponents, he has displayed greater creativity when the situation called for it. For instance, when equipped with a Philosopher's Stone, he was able to use his alchemy in unexpected ways, like transmuting flash bangs, flexible swords, and conical earth-prisons to surprise his opponents.

Megumi: However, Alphonse's own alchemy is unique in several ways that make themselves apparent over the course of the two diverging storylines. From the beginning of the story, it becomes clear that - unlike most alchemists - Al does not require direct physical contact with the transmutation arrays he draws in order to manipulate matter; merely by standing over a circle and applying concentration, hell he can even manipulate matter without touching it.

Sachi: He has saved his brother from death multiple times, liberated a town from dictatorship and even capable of transmute by placing his hands above what he wants to transmute and simpy concentrate, something that no alchemist has been capable of doing.

Megumi: And remembered how Edward is able to survive multiple explosions, well Alphonse can survive his fair share, having tanked a rocket launched onto him, and even survived Kimblee's explosions, those equal to 157 kilotons of TNT

Megumi: And another bad thing about the Philosopher Stone is that without it, Alphonse cannot regrow back lost limbs.

Megumi: But luckily, Edward was able to give Alphonse his body back by sacrificing his powers which enables them to grow up and start a family of their own. But as far as brotherhood goes, Alphonse will always stay by his brother's side through thick and thin.

Alphonse: I won't leave you! I'm sick of watching people die! and I can't just sit back and take it anymore! I won't let anyone else get killed! Not when I can protect them!

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Edward and Alphonse looked up, watching as a young boy cladded in a green garb with a marking on his forehead steps towards them.

The girl quickly runs towards him, hiding behind the boy as he says.

Tanjiro: What are you doing to my sister?

Edward: Your sister is holding something that belongs to us. Give it or else we will have no choice but to use force.

Both sibling pairs faces each other as Tanjiro declares out to the Elric brothers.

Tanjiro: Not a chance! I won't let you hurt Nezuko!

Tanjiro draws his sword just as Edward lunges forward, drawing his own blade as the two clashes into each other.

CLANG!!!

While Tanjiro and Edward are locked in battle, Nezuko looks up as Alphonse sprints forward, preparing to attack.

Alphonse: Come here you!

Just as Alphonse swings his hand out, Nezuko suddenly shrinks her body into that of a small child, shocking the boy.

Alphonse: Huh?

Nezuko: Mm! Mm! Mm! Mm! Mm!

Nezuko pants cutely as she runs away from Alphonse, leaving him staring at her in confusion before giving chase.

Alphonse: Hey come back!

While Tanjiro and Edward are busy clashing against each other, Alphonse sprints after Nezuko, the two running into the forest, the sounds of their brothers fighting slowly fading from the distance.

Nezuko suddenly notices something ahead and she quickly halts in place.

Nezuko: Hm!

Alphonse however, didn't notice it and he dashes forward, closing in onto Nezuko.

Announcer: Fight!

BAM!!!

With one single strike, Nezuko was sent flying, though Alphonse found himself tumbling down a crevice as well.

Alphonse: WHOOOOAAAA!!!

Both Alphonse and Nezuko falls through the crevice, the two beginning their fight.

Alphonse swings his arm out only for Nezuko to dodge it before throwing her leg out, striking Alphonse across his head.

CLANG!!!

Alphonse was sent flying from the attack before landing feet first onto the wall of the crevice, putting his hand around the wall to create several sharp spikes from the wall.

CRUNCH!!!

Nezuko shrinks her body into the size of a child, narrowingly dodging the spikes before running along it.

Alphonse jumps above Nezuko, landing above her as he throws a punch.

Nezuko blocks it before swinging her arm out, the two younger siblings exchanging blows amongst themselves.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Despite the presence of rocks and vines around the two, both Nezuko and Alphonse seems to be evenly matched with Nezuko's speed and agility against Alphonse' raw strength and armor.

However, right as Alphonse throws one downward punch, the rock beneath them began to crumble, causing both Nezuko and Alphonse to fall straight into the puddle below.

SPLASH!!!

Nezuko pushes herself up, running into the open field just as Alphonse pushes himself up, growling.

Alphonse: Alright, now I'm mad.

Alphonse puts his hands in a cross, creating a sword before dashing after Nezuko.

Nezuko notices a large boulder in front of her before leaping up and delivering a hard kick.

BAM!!!

The kick sends the rock rolling towards Alphonse who simply holds it back with his hand, using alchemy to shape the rock.

The rocks began forming around Nezuko, trapping her in some sort of makeshift prison.

Nezuko: Mm!

Nezuko looks around, alarmed as Alphonse creates a flash bang using alchemy, dropping it into the rock prison before stepping back, watching as the flash bang goes off in a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

Alphonse watches as the philosopher stone is sent flying in the air before catching onto it, but also at the cost of Nezuko's blood splattering onto him.

Alphonse notices parts of Nezuko flying everywhere and he thought to himself.

Alphonse: Geez, did I went too far?

However, right at that moment...

FWOOSH!!!

Alphonse notices his body suit began engulfing in flames.

Though the fire doesn't hurt his armored body, it still caught him off guard nontheless.

Alphonse: What the?!

Alphonse turns to look, noticing the blood holding parts of Nezuko before moving back, reattaching Nezuko's limbs and head back to her body.

As her wounds closes, Nezuko began to undergo a transformation, veins began popping out of her arms as her muscle mass grew slightly.

Her teeth sharpens to the point Nezuko bit through the bamboo covering her mouth, her eyes flashes with a hint of demonic energy and a long sharp horn grew on her forehead.

Nezuko has reached her awakened form!

Alphonse held onto the Philosopher Stone, clenching onto it with his hand as he began transmuting a sword.

Alphonse swings the sword at Nezuko, only for the sword to shatter upon impact with her skin.

CLANG!!!

Alphonse: What?!

BAM!!!

Nezuko delivers a hard kick, sending Alphonse crashing backwards.

Alphonse pushes himself up, shocked at Nezuko's sudden increase of power.

Alphonse: Incredible!

Before Alphonse could react, Nezuko lunges forward, throwing a massive punch right into his torso.

WHAM!!!

Alphonse raises up his arms, transmuting two metal shields to block every blow from Nezuko.

Just as Nezuko bounces off his shields, Alphonse throws one of them, only for Nezuko to swerve her body in the air, dodging it.

Nezuko lunges downwards, forcing Alphonse to raise up one of the shields as she slams right into it.

CLANG!!!

Alphonse immediately transmutes the shield into a bear trap, latching onto Nezuko's leg.

CHOMP!!!

Though injured, Nezuko however looks down before thrusting her leg down, striking Alphonse in the head multiple times.

BAM!!! BAM!!! BAM!!!

Nezuko then crawls onto Alphonse's back, punching him in the head repeatly.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

The impact began denting Alphonse's armor, causing Alphonse to grab Nezuko before throwing her over his shoulder.

Alphonse: Enough!

As Nezuko is sent flying, Alphonse began transmuting a spear before throwing it across the air, causing it to hit her in the chest.

SHOK!!!

Just as Nezuko falls flat onto the ground, Alphonse uses alchemy to transmute several large pillars, raising them up before slamming them down.

Nezuko widens her eyes in shock before the rocks crashes down onto her.

CRASH!!!

Alphonse pants out, amazed at Nezuko's strength while looking at the dents on his armor.

Alphonse: That girl is amazing. I wonder if her brother is just as strong. If so...is brother in danger?

However, before Alphonse could worry about his brother, right at that moment, a massive explosion booms across the rocks, shocking Alphonse.

KABOOM!!!

Alphonse: What?!

Right at that moment, Nezuko gets up, smirking as she lunges forward, closing in onto Alphonse.

Nezuko throws one powerful punch, striking Alphonse straight in the torso.

BAM!!!

The single punch creates a hole in Alphonse's armor though however, that attack gave Alphonse an opening to throw an attack, punching Nezuko square in the head.

POW!!!

Blood splatters into the hole of his suit as Nezuko collapses onto the ground, seemingly defeated.

Alphonse then raises up his foot, preparing to finish Nezuko off when right at that moment...

Nezuko: Blood Demon Art: Exploding Blood!

Alphonse: What?!

FWOOSH!!!

Alphonse felt his inside catch of fire, causing him to scream out in agony.

Alphonse: ARGHHHHHHHH!!!

Within his armor, the blood seals began to dry before crisping up, crumbling away before fading out of existence.

With the blood seals gone, Alphonse drops onto his knees, his soul gone and his armor rendered as nothing but an empty shell.

Her opponent defeated, Nezuko throws her leg out, kicking the empty armor down.

WHAM!!!

Nezuko stood over the armor, panting as she looks though the armor, realizing there are no human meat within it.

At that moment...

Tanjiro: Nezuko!

Nezuko freezes, looking up as Tanjiro rushes towards her, sighing out in relief.

Tanjiro: There you are. I was so worried about you.

Nezuko then began shrinking, taking a piece of bamboo out before attaching it to her mouth as Tanjiro nods.

Tanjiro: Yeah, I took care of that boy. I see you have beaten his brother as well.

Nezuko: Mm.

Both Tanjiro and Nezuko stares at the armor, sadness soon fills the two as Tanjiro says to Nezuko.

Tanjiro: Come Nezuko, we got work to do.

The next morning, Tanjiro pats the last bit of dirt on the floor as he and Nezuko looks at the tombstone set for Edward and Alphonse.

With one single bow, both Tanjiro and Nezuko paid their respect before Nezuko climbs up into the casket, sitting inside it as Tanjiro walks away.

Megumi: Ah, at least Tanjiro and Nezuko gets to see each other again though I really feel bad for Edward and Alphonse.

Toomi: Combat wise, Alphonse held a massive advantage over Nezuko, having fought way more battles than her and his ability to create weapons with alchemy does enable him to keep Nezuko on her toes.

Sachi: Just as his use of alchemy does allow him to create weapons and his armor allows him to tank everything Nezuko throws at him, the same armor that tanked explosions and bullets.

Megumi: However, there are some problems even with those advantages. One such is that Alphonse's weapons can't hurt Nezuko at all.

Toomi: Correct, in the Demon Slayer universe, demons are immune to most ordinary means of harm, having only shown to be vulnerable against the Nichirin Blade or the Wisteria Flowers which are kind of a kryptonite to demons which don't exist in the Fullmetal Alchemist universe.

Sachi: And even though Alphonse can create explosives to blow Nezuko to pieces, Nezuko's Demon Blood Art and healing factor allows her to simply reattach her body back, hell, Daki even once cut her head off and she just reattached it.

Megumi: And Nezuko was shown to be capable of reacting against lightning as the time she once saved Tanjiro from an electrical blast called lightning.

Toomi: Assuming that the electrical blast does move as fast as lightning, Nezuko would have to move faster than 270,000 mph which is much faster than Alphonse dodging bullets.

Sachi: Between Nezuko's speed and toughness and Alphonse' strength and armor, the fight between them would mostly go either way though except for one weakness.

Toomi: And that is Alphonse' blood seal. Despite his armor, Alphonse has a more exposed weakness. Sure, when fighting demons in Demon Slayer, this kind of durability can make the fight last until the sun rises where it can burn demons to death which is no longer Nezuko's weakness.

Megumi: And with Nezuko's strength of punching through rocks and metal, what's stopping Demon Nezuko from just punching a hole through Alphonse and just setting his insides on fire to burn away the Blood Seals and just ending the fight right there.

Sachi: And there is one question you may ask, which is the Philosopher Stone, like wouldn't that have change the results?

Toomi: The answer is yes and no, while the While Kimblee's explosion, the one empowered by a Philosopher Stone has created a blast worth 157 kilotons of TNT, Alphonse's armor was cracked to the point it nearly damaged his Blood Seals so it's pretty risky.

Sachi: And using the Philosopher Stone would require a soul which is not in character of Alphonse to do so but it can be rendered useless without a soul which gives Nezuko yet again another advantage.

Toomi: While Alphonse's alchemy, armor and experience certainly gave him an edge in this fight, it was Nezuko's speed, durability and strength that won out in the end.

Megumi: Looks like this was one Hollow victory for Nezuko.

Sachi: The winner is Nezuko Kamado

Nezuko: Mmmmmhmmmm!!!
