Power Rangers vs Pacific Rim, which two giant robots powered and controlled by groups of humans will win this robot duel?

Toomi: Robots, one thing that Japan love to create them for is to fight monsters.

Megumi: And when monsters gets too big for humanity to fight, that's where these two comes in.

Toomi: Like the Megazord, the heavy-hitting mech commanded by five Power Rangers,

Megumi: And Gypsy Avenger, the new generation Jaeger, she's Sachi, Toomi and I'm Megumi.

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

The Power Rangers morph their Zords for a What if Battle

<Cue: I Love Rock n Roll by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts>

Toomi: Since the dawn of time, good has battled the forces of evil. The vicious witch Rita Repulsa and her giant monsters waged war with the good-natured galactic sage, Zordon.

Megumi: Their two thousand year war finally ended when Rita zapped him into a time warp, but not before Zordon managed to lock her up, in a... space dumpster?

Toomi: Yes, apparently that thing is a "space dumpster", or to put it more accurately, a "galactic recycling bin." Uh, however, Zordon knew it was only a matter of time before Rita escaped to conquer Earth once more.

Sachi: Zordon granted five teenagers the ability to draw power from a dimension called the Morphin Grid. This molecular transmutation turns them into superhumans with access to mighty mechanical beasts called Zords, becoming the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

Zack: Mastodon!

Kimberly: Pterodactyl!

Billy: Triceratops!

Trini: Saber-Toothed Tiger!

Jason: Tyrannosaurus!

Megumi: First, there's Jason Lee Scott, the Red Ranger. He's a fearless leader, expert martial artist, and owns one of the coolest Zords of the bunch: the Tyrannosaurus Rex

Sachi: Billy Cranston, the Blue Ranger, is the genius of the group. He loves to work with machines, especially his impressive Triceratops Zord. With its grappling hook horns, this one hundred forty-ton behemoth can stop a foe in its tracks.

Toomi: Trini Kwan, the Yellow Ranger, is equal parts brains and martial arts specialist. She's a threat both outside and inside her speedy Sabertooth Tiger Zord.

Sachi: Kimberly Ann Hart, the Pink Ranger, is a smack-talking valley girl who has the skies covered in her Pterodactyl Zord, which can fly at two and a half times the speed of sound.

Megumi: Last, but not least, there's Zack Taylor, the Black Ranger, who's mastered his own fighting style called "Hip-Hop Kido." In case you guys ask, yes, this kid fights aliens with the power of dance, along with his Mastodon Zord. Although slow, this Zord can freeze-blast enemies with ice, or... saran wrap if you're short on budget.

Toomi: But when five giant mechanical beasts aren't enough to keep the villains down, these machines join together to...

Megumi: Fuse into the coolest friggin' thing you've ever seen in your life!

Red Ranger: Activating Megazord Battle Mode!

Toomi: This is the Megazord, a three hundred and thirty-three-foot colossus with enough power to effortlessly tear down buildings, sometimes unintentionally. All five Rangers pilot the Megazord as one, combining their own martial arts skills to defeat giant monsters.

Sachi: It can fry enemies with its cranial laser, blast fireballs from its hands, shoot immobilizing beams from its eyes, and even use the Mastodon's face as a shield. And when it's time to send someone to an early grave, they summon their blade ex Machina, the Power Sword.

Toomi: Apparently, the Power Sword can absorb oncoming kinetic energy and turn it against the attacker, drastically increasing the Megazord's striking power.

Megumi: Well, after pummeling monsters every weekday afternoon, the Power Rangers have been through almost everything, from fighting a world-destroying dragon to a giant walking pumpkin... who raps?

Pumpkin Rapper: Ooh, you Rangers make me mad, waking me up with a rap that bad!

Toomi: Anyway, the Megazord is strong enough to lift and throw the one hundred seventy-ton Dragonzord into a mountain with little effort.

Sachi: Even the individual Zords can support the weight of whole monsters on their own. While many of these monsters should weigh similar to the Megazord, some certainly weigh even more. In fact, in a general scale, when you double the size of an object, it's weight increases by a factor of eight. Comparing these organic monsters to human beings means some of them could weigh as much as ten thousand tons.

Megumi: And the Megazord even gut-punched one of them over a hundred feet into the air.

Toomi: Assuming that monster is ten thousand tons, lifting it one hundred and thirty three feet would require about ninety million newtons of force, fifty times as much force as a space shuttle's launching thrust.

The Megazord is at the very least capable of flying to the moon considering that in the SNES PR Game and the Power Rangers Comics, the Megazord and Dragonzord are shown being able to reach the moon.

Toomi: Which is surprisingly accurate. But even for the Power Rangers, defending the Earth is no small job. When they least expect it, the Megazord's energy supply can be quickly exhausted in the middle of combat.

Sachi: And plus it cannot operate during a Solar Eclipse.

Weakness

Cannot fight effectively during an solar eclipse.

Lost an arm in his second fight against Cyclopsis.

It was destroyed by Lord Zedd.

Megumi: But when the enemy hits hard, the Power Rangers hit back even harder, with the fate of the world lying in their hands, no one can ever take them down.

Red Ranger: Everyone let's go!

Jake Pentecost and Nate Lambert pilots Gypsy Avenger for a What if Battle

<Cue: Versace on the Floor by Bruno Mars>

Toomi: Gipsy Avenger was launched January 12, 2034, by the restructured and militarized . At a certain point in time, the Jaeger was piloted by  and Nathan Lambert and Jacob Pentecost. .

Megumi: However, following an illegal attempt to pilot a Jaeger on his own, Jake left the PPDC.

Sachi: During a Pan Pacific Defense Corps council meeting in Sydney, Australia, Gypsy Avenger is stationed nearby to "look pretty" for the public until a rogue Jaeger appeared and attacked the populace, forcing Gypsy Avenger into combat.

Toomi: After chasing after Obsidion Fury, Gypsy Avenger takes it on, eventually defeating it only to discover a second brain of a Kaiju operating it.

Megumi: Yuck!

Sachi: And during the attack by the Drone Jaegers before they are shut down, Gipsy Avenger takes damage and is noted as the only Jaeger left operational, but only barely.

Toomi: With the Kaiju-Jaeger Hybrids having created several Breaches that let through the Category IV and V Kaiju Raijin, Hakuja and Shrikethorn, repairs are quickly made on Gipsy Avenger, Bracer Phoenix, Guardian Bravo and Saber Athena to get them operational again.

Megumi: And after taking on the three monsters, the three began doing something unexpected, fusing!

Toomi: After destroying Bracer Phoenix, Guardian Bravo and Saber Athena, Gypsy Avenger and Scrapper uses a rocket to stop the Mega-Kaiju, sacrificing themselves to destroy the Kaiju in the end.

Sachi: Being built in honour of Gipsy Danger and designed using its design template, Gypsy Avenger pretty much bears similar gears with it's predecesor.

Megumi: Including a Plasma Caster, two Chain Swords and an Elbow Rocket. But as an added bonus, it was equipped with chainsaws from Obsidian Fury.

Toomi: Being designed after Gipsy Danger, Gypsy Avenger is definitely designed to have similar kind of combat ability as it's successor, having the ability to survive attacks from Kaijus that other Jaegers cannot. Those that involves attacks from Jaeger Kaiju hybrids and even attacks from the Mega Kaiju.

Sachi: Gypsy Avenger has also held it's own against Obsidian Fury in battle, using the area to it's advantage to which it's pilots, Jake and Nate eventually defeats it.

Megumi: And it was the only Jaeger which alongside Scrapper managed to kill the Mega Kaiju before it can detonate itself into a volcano, which at the same time, saved countless lives in the process.

Toomi: However, like all Jaegers, Gypsy Avenger is heavily reliant on it's pilots. If Jake or Nate were to be killed, it will leave Gypsy vulnerable to attacks.

Sachi: And it was unable to defeat the Mega Kaiju on it's own.

Megumi: But considering how much it has played a big role in the second movie, Gypsy Avenger is definitely a symbol of hope to millions.

Nate: I think we pissed him off.

Jake: Good.

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Sachi: Don't forget to vote, comment what you think of the fight.

Megumi: Yeah, but right now, it's time for a Death Battle!

Siberia

In the cold outskirts of Siberia, all seems to be normal.

Until right at that moment, a large Kaiju runs across the ground, hot on it's heels.

As the creature is running, suddenly, something slams down hard onto the Kaiju, killing it instantly.

<Cue: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Theme Song>

CRASH!!!

Standing over the now dead Kaiju stood the Megazord, standing tall as the Red Ranger cheers out to the rest of the Power Rangers,

Red Ranger: Alright guys! Great job!

Blue Ranger: Hell yeah!

Pink Ranger: Whoo hoo!

However, right at that moment, Gypsy Avenger lands in front of them, with Nate's voice booming through the Jaeger's vocabulator.

Nate: Well well, what do we have here?

Jake: Gotta admit, you guys did a good job there.

Red Ranger: Gee thanks.

Jake: However...

The Rangers looks as Gypsy Avenger approaches them, with Jake saying.

Jake: You gotta come with us. I have some questions for you.

Upon hearing that, the Ranger immediately refuses.

Red Ranger: Nuh uh! No way we're going with you!

Yellow Ranger: Yeah! I don't think we can trust you.

<Cue: Pacific Rim by Ramin Djawadi feat Tom Morello>

Nate sighs out and he turns to Jake, asking.

Nate: Well, looks like we've got no choice, ready?

Jake: Always.

Gypsy Avenger swings it's arms out, brandishing both it's blades as it dashes forward, preparing to attack the Megazord.

Announcer: Fight!

The Megazord brandishes out it's Power Sword, blocking the attack just by raising it up.

CLANK!!!

Using it's strength, the Megazord pushes Gypsy Avenger back before throwing a punch, striking the Jaeger by the side of the face.

BAM!!!

Stumbling back, Gypsy Avenger looks up before activating it's missile, launching it straight towards the Megazord.

FWOOSH!!!

Upon noticing the missile, Red Ranger calls out to the rest of his team.

Red Ranger: Uh oh. Get ready guys!

However, what happened next was completely unexpected.

The missiles began splitting into several smaller missiles, catching the other Rangers off guard.

Before any of them could react, the missiles strikes right into them, causing the entire Jaeger to shake.

BOOM!!! BOOM!!! BOOM!!!

Power Rangers: AAAAHHHHHH!!!

As the Megazord stumbles back, Gypsy Avenger launches itself straight towards the Megazord, raising up it's fist as it throws a punch, striking the Megazord in the face.

WHAM!!!

Megazord looks up and it retaliates by swinging it's hand across, sending Gypsy Avenger flying with a single slap.

WHAM!!!

Nate and Jake: WHHHOOOOAAA!!!

Both Jaeger pilots screams out as Gypsy Avenger was sent crashing backfirst into a rock.

CRASH!!!

Pushing itself up, Gypsy Avenger points it's plasma caster at the Megazord, firing several rounds at it.

THOOM!!! THOOM!!! THOOM!!!

The Megazord quickly raises up it's Mastadon Shield, blocking the onslaught from the Jaeger before closing it, only for Gypsy Avenger to roll across the floor, using it's blade to slice the Megazord in the tight.

SLASH!!!

As the Megazord trips from the attack, Gypsy Avenger leaps up into the air, spinning around, using the jet boosters on it's feet to boost it's aerial attack before throwing a punch, striking the Zord in the face.

WHAM!!!

Power Rangers: ARRRRGHHHHH!!!

Megazord falls flat onto the ground as Gypsy Avenger steps toward it, activating it's plasma chainsaw as Jake says to Nate.

Jake: Alright, enough of this, let's finish this.

Gypsy Avenger raises up it's plasma chainsaw, preparing to finish Megazord off.

Right at that moment, Megazord fires a powerful blast of it's Cranial laser, striking the Jaeger square in it's chest.

THOOM!!!

Nate: ARGHHHH!!!

Jake: What?!

Jake stares at the Megazord, his eyes wide with shock as the Megazord pushes itself up, this time, plunging it's sword hard into the Jaeger's chest.

SHOK!!!

KABOOM!!!

Explosions booms across the Jaeger as the Red Ranger declares out to the rest of the Rangers.

Red Ranger: Alright guys, let's end this!

Power Rangers: Yeah!

The Megazord then throws multiple punches, striking Gypsy Avenger across it's body.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

And with one final punch, The Megazord throws it's fist out, sending Gypsy Avenger's head flying upwards into the air.

THOOM!!!

With it's head separated from it's body, the now headless Jaeger stumbles backwards before collapsing onto the floor, defeated.

With it's opponent defeated, the Megazord immediately splits itself back into it's other Zord forms before the Power Rangers steps out, happily cheering for their victory as the head of Gypsy Avenger crashes near it's body.

CRASH!!!

KO!

<Cue: Love Again by CHIHIRO>

Megumi: Damn. Never expect a giant robot fight to be that brutal!

Toomi: Having the speed advantage, Gypsy Avenger is certainly capable of reacting against Megazord's attacks but that's pretty much it's only advantage it ever have against it.

Sachi: Having a much harder armor and having tanked attacks from the Dragonzord, Megazord stood a big chance in durability, tanking heavy attacks from giant monsters whereas similar kind of attacks sends Gypsy Avenger flying.

Toomi: And there's their weapons, the Power Sword and the Chain Sword are definitely on par with each other except that the Megazord have weapons like it's shield to block pretty much everything the Jaeger throws at it.

Megumi: And considering how there weren't any Kaiju attacks during the events before the film, Gypsy's spent most of it's production time just standing there looking pretty without much use for fighting monsters, giving the Megazord the experience advantage over the Jaeger.

Toomi: Having the strength, durability and experience advantage over Gypsy Avenger, this what ensures the Megazord's victory of this match.

Megumi: Looks like Gypsy her really needs some Avenging.

Sachi: The winner is the Megazord

Red Ranger: Yeah!

Blue Ranger: Alright guys!

Yellow Ranger: Ha ha! Go team!

Red Ranger: Virus, eliminated!
