Kingdom Hearts vs Star Wars, which two powerful manipulating villains will bring the down the thunder on their next victims.

Toomi: The Bigger Bad! A nightmarish term in which there's threat more dangerous than the Big Bad.

Megumi: Especially when they have created the Big Bads themselves.

Toomi: Such as Master Xehanort, Leader of Organization XIII,

Megumi: And Darth Sidious, the Emperor of the Galactic Empire, she's Sachi, Toomi and I'm Megumi.

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Master Xenahort unleashes Darkness into What if Battles

Toomi: Originally from Destiny Islands, Xehanort became an apprentice to Master Odin alongside his friend Eraqus and learned of the epic Keyblade War.

Megumi: Xehanort's desire to know more of the event led to him planning to recreate the legendary sword that the Keyblades were modelled after, The χ-blade. He then formulated a scheme to create it by using his former apprentice Ventus and his personified darkness Vanitas.

Sachi: But as he grew old, learning a means to divide his will among thirteen bodies, Xehanort attempted to cheat death by transferring his heart into the body of Eraqus' apprentice Terra.

Megumi: Though Terra manages to resist by transferring part of himself into his Keyblade armor, Xehanort revealed a series of back-up plans through his incarnations Ansem and Xemnas that accumulated in the time-displaced versions of himself known as the Thirteen Seekers of Darkness.

Sachi: What, how did he come back from the dead?

Toomi: Well, long and complicated story short...you see, when the Terra-Xehanort hybrid extracted his heart, he ended up creating to beings. His Heartless; Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, and his Nobody; Xemnas. But if the Heartless and Nobody are killed off, then the original version returns.

Megumi: And he's doing all this to unlock the secrets of Kingdom Hearts?

Toomi: Pretty much. During his studies, Xehanort deduced that the χ-blade is the source to unlock the secrets of Kingdom Hearts. However, during his studies, he learns that during the Keyblade War, the χ-blade was broken into twenty pieces. Seven pieces of Light and 13 pieces of Darkness. Xehanort believes that twenty people contain a piece of the χ-blade, and it's there destiny to do battle in a specific area, to unlock Kingdom Hearts.

Megumi: And who are these twenty people that are destined to do battle?

Toomi: Well for the Light we have, Sora, Riku, King Mickey, Terra, Aqua, Ventus, and Kairi. And on the side of Darkness, we only have about six or seven confirmed. Which consist of Master Xehanort, his Heartless and Nobody; Ansem, Seeker of Darkness and Xemnas, Xigbar, Saïx, Xehanort's younger self, uh... Young Xehanort. And though he's never seen, it's heavily implied that the Terra-Xehanort hybrid is one of the 13 darkness, along with Vanitas, and Sora or his Sora's Heartless.

Megumi: Holy shit! That's too much info to think of.

Toomi: And you know what's the worst part?

Megumi: What?

Toomi: That's the simplest way I can think of to explain his story.

Megumi: Oh my God.

Sachi: You know what Toomi, why don't we just go over his abilities now?

Toomi: Alright. Being trained to in arts of the Keyblade, Xehanort is a master Keyblade wielder. And being a Keyblade master, Xehanort can materialize his Keyblade at anytime. Despite his old age, Xehanort can perform powerful, and, surprisingly, fast-paced combos.

Sachi: Not only is he a master Keyblade wielder, bur he's also a master sorcerer. He specializes in Thunder, Blizzard, and Earth-based magic. He can teleport, easily create a small mountain by raising his hand, and even instantly freeze someone by making physical contact.

Toomi: He can also generate a gust of wind powerful enough to send Ventus and Mickey flying, and even use telekinesis to move hundreds of Keyblades with ease.

Megumi: And being one of the 13 Darkesses, Xehanort has the powers over Darkness. And despite him being an old man, he's surprisingly strong. After all, he's capable of crushing Ventus' helmet without much effort, AND with his bare hand.

Sachi: And as we've already stated, what makes Xehanort more dangerous besides his Keyblade skills and Magical abilities, is his intelligences. Xehanort is dangerously intelligent, as he's able to predict what's going to happen, without him being there.

Toomi: Not only that, but Xehanort is also a cunning strategist, and a master manipulator, as he's capable of tricking Terra to give into the Darkness so that Terra can be one of his vessels.

Megumi: Though to be fair, Terra's a gullible dumbass to begin with. So manipulating him is easy.

Toomi: Which isn't really wrong. Anyway, for his battle stance, Xehanort seems to rely on a stance in a similar fashion towards Riku's stance. When he keeps in hand with the weapon elevated above his head, and has his other hand sticking straight out.

Megumi: And speaking of Keyblade, let's talk about his Keyblade. Xehanort wields a black Keyblade that contains spikes, a black guard that greatly resembles demonic wings, a horned lion head just above the handle, two barbed shafts, and teeth resembling a battle axe split into three almost claw-like protrusions.

Sachi: Xehanort's Keyblade also channels his powers over the Darkness, and has the ability to both lock and unlock ones heart, including his own. And much like the protagonist in Birth by Sleep, Xehanort also possesses a Keyblade Armor that he can materialize and use, known as "No Heart".

Toomi: Xehanort is one of the most dangerous individuals in the Kingdom Hearts lore. He managed to manipulate virtually very one he's encounter, and various other evil deeds.

Megumi: Yeah, that guy has been able to travel other worlds without the need for protection from darkness, hell, he is even able to use his own body as a portal for others to travel to other worlds. How is that possible?

Sachi: I don't know Megumi. Anyway, Master Xehanort is no slouch in combat, scaling to the likes of Sora, Aqua, Terra, Master Eraqus and Terra.

Megumi: Who is one of the physically strongest fighters in the series!

Toomi: But when he wields the X-Blade, not only does he gained control over all of Kingdom Hearts, but he was even going to erase the worlds and even create a new world that balances the light and dark.

Megumi: Ah, like what a certain superhero thinks about such a dream...

Toomi: It's also interesting to know that with his time manipulation powers, predicting that Yen Sid would put Sora and Riku through the Mark of Mastery exam well over a decade in advance and hijacked it to make Sora one of his vessels, nearly succeeding in the process.

Megumi: Man, now that is what I call a villain who is actually smart!

Toomi: However, age seems to have taken a toll on Xehanort as he often times relies on his magic and cunning rather than engaging his opponents in combat though it doesn't seem to affect him given his feats and all.

Sachi: And there are many times he has been defeated by Sora

He can be slightly overconfident.

His old age somewhat hampers his mobility and forces him to rely more on his magic and cunningness (though this isn't much of a problem given his feats and ability to transplant his heart or fragments of it into other bodies),

To travel through time he must give up his body and be only a heart.

Have been defeated by Sora

Toomi: Yes Sachi, his overconfidence has been his downfall many times. But he still have his other bodies to continue his evil deeds should he fail

Sachi: And he can only be a heart if he were to travel through time so by doing that, he is usually forced to give up his body.

Megumi: Well, looing at the bright side, his abilities are far way less complex than his backstory cause man, I got a migrane

Darth Sidious shoots Sith Lightning into What if Battles

Toomi: Born to a high class family on the planet Naboo, young Sheev Palpatine is a man interested in learning about the truth of the Dark Side.

Megumi: And aside from collecting artifacts and doing his own research, Palps eventually met a Muun named Hugo Damask who is actually the Sith, Darth Plagueis the Wise.

Palpatine: Have you ever heard of the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise?

Sachi: To prove his worth to the Dark Lord, Palpatine killed his father and pledged himself under Plagueis' teachings. Plagueis would teach Palpatine many Force powers, including the secrets of life and immortality, before Sidious had decided to take his master's place as Dark Lord of the Sith.

Toomi: In the midst of his training, Sheev would then build his own political power, and fun fact, during the events of The Phantom Menace, Darth Plagueis was still alive before his own apprentice killed him in his sleep.

Megumi: That guy would then become the Senator of Naboo before becoming the Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic, using his own cunning and wits to orchestrate the Clone Wars in order to wipe out the Jedi and become the Emperor.

Sachi: During those times, Palpatine had taken two apprentices, Darth Maul and Tyrannus before setting his eyes on Anakin Skywalker who would then become known as Darth Vader.

Toomi: Palpatine would then rule the galaxy with an iron fist for 2 decades before setting his sights on Luke Skywalker who he would then target him to be his final apprentice and his true successor.

Megumi: Until Darth Vader then reformed and he threw him down the shaft of the Death Star.

Toomi: That is not the end of Darth Sidious however, for he would then be reborn in the body of clones which unfortunately for him, are too weak to sustain his Dark Side powers.

Sachi: After facing Luke Skywalker, Palpatine's last clone body travelled to Onderon where Leia's second son, Anakin Solo is born, it was there were he then tries to attack them only for Han Solo to shoot him in the back, killing his body in the process.

Megumi: Being the stubborn cockroach he always is, Palpatine would try one last attempt to possess Anakin's body until a dying cyborg Jedi absorbed his ghost and it was there that Palpatine is truly dead.

Toomi: Being a Sith apprentice to Master, Darth Sidious is exceptional in the power of the Dark Side of the Force, being able to use the Force for Force Chokes, Force Speed...

Megumi: And even making loud shrill screams.

Toomi: That's right Megumi, that move is known as Force Scream, a Dark Side move which is used as a means to intimidate his opponents, lowering their connections to the force which was how he was able to cut down Agen Kolar faster than he could react.

Megumi: He's also skilled with a lightsaber, a great liar and he can even create Force Storms.

Sachi: Just to note, Force storms is a volatile dark side Force power capable of creating hyperspace wormholes that were able to displace objects across vast distances and tear apart the surfaces of entire planets.

Toomi: In fact, Storms could also safely transport living beings across the galaxy in a short span of time and, if used in conjunction with certain Sith artifacts, could send a being forward in time.

Toomi: Megumi is right, Darth Sidious is known to be extremely skilled with a lightsaber, being able to take on both Darth Maul and Savage Oppress at once, kill Agen Kolar, Sasee Tiin and Kit Fisto effortlessly and even matched Yoda and Mace Windu is a lightsaber duel

Sachi: In record, he has succeeded in turning Jedis like Dooku and Anakin to the Dark Side, orchestrated the Clone Wars by playing leaders on both the Republic and the Separatist and even ordered the execution of Arc Trooper Fives after he found out about Order 66.

Megumi: And remembered when I said old? Well, Palpatine is very fast for an old man, being able to react faster than Darth Vader.

Toomi: And just to note, Darth Vader is known to be able to move and fight at the speed of light itself, and even as Anakin Skywalker, Palpatine's battle with Mace Windu was described to be a blur to even Anakin himself.

Sachi: And he can even Force Choke Count Dooku from across the Galaxy, which is a feat considering how Palpatine is still on Coruscant when he made that message and Dooku is on Serenno. And just to note, Serenno is a world near the border of the Mid and Outer Rims which is quite far from Coruscant

Orchestrated his rise to power by having his predecessor removed from office, then having Count Dooku arranged the creation of the clone army before deceiving the Senate to give him emergency power to deal with the Separatist army

Considered to be the Sith'ari, basically the Chosen One of the Sith

Stated numerous times to be the most powerful Sith Lord in history. Some Sith Lords of comparable strength are some like Vitiate, who consumed Nathema, and obtained this much energy, enough to blow up Earth's Moon 10 times over, and after absorbing Ziost, he has likely doubled. This would place Sidious at Small Planet level. In addition, he has feats such as wiping out entire groups of starships, and the surfaces of whole planets with Force Storms. In the Clone Wars, Fought on par with both Savage Opress and Darth Maul. He was so fast for them that he made them look like child's play during their fight. This means Darth Sidious is overall faster than both Savage Opress and Darth Maul.

Managed to revive himself in a clone body after being killed by Anakin Skywalker.

Megumi: Damn! When Palpatine says he has unlimited power, he's not joking.

Toomi: However, Palpatine's biggest flaw is his arrogance, as shown where he underestimated the likes of Jedis like Yoda and Luke which has ended up with him losing

Sachi: And for someone who orchestrated a war, played both sides and created an army for his enemies which succeeded in wiping out most of the Jedi, Palpatine ended up making a lot of mistakes during his time as Emperor, choosing to shut down the clone project after an attempted rebellion from the Kaminoans, thinking that humans have lower chances of betraying him than clones, which turned the battle experienced clones into an army of incompetent human recruits

Megumi: Really, no wonder the Empire is so bad at doing things

Weakness

Arrogant, and Overconfident. Tends to underestimate his opponents, especially Yoda and Luke Skywalker

Almost defeated by Mace Windu if Anakin did not intervene.

Admits that his master Darth Plagueis is more powerful than him, thus why he kills his master in his sleep instead of directly

Toomi: And some of Palpatine's stronger abilities like his Force Storms are only available in clone bodies but we will still be granting him those abilities nonetheless

Sachi: And he's also a coward, even admitting to killing his master by poisoning him in his sleep because he's not powerful enough to fight him.

Megumi: You know, if Palpatine doesn't expend his apprentices like water and fund his engineers in putting railings in the Death Star, he could have had it all.

Darth Sidious: POWER!!! UNLIMITED POWER!!!

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

<Cue: The Emperor by John Williams>

Seated solemnly in the dark chambers of the temple, a tall hooded figure sat on a stony throne, brooding to himself.

Right at that moment, the roof about went off in a loud explosion.

KABOOM!!!

Darth Sidious looks up, eyeing a lone figure dropping down from the opening.

The figure rose up, his bald head gleams over the exposing light as he steps towards Darth Sidious, listening as the Sith Lord questions him.

Darth Sidious: Who dares step forth into the temple of the Sith?

The old man smirks and he introduces himself.

Master Xehanort: I am Xehanort. Master Xehanort and you have something that I want.

Master Xehanort points a finger at the Sith Holocron lying on a pillar.

Upon hearing that, Darth Sidious bursts in a fit of maniacal laughter.

Darth Sidious: Eh heh heh heh Ha ha ha!

Darth Sidious pushes himself up, his mouth crooks into that of a snarl as he growls.

Darth Sidious: You bear great power in you. Great power to become a rival!

VSSSSHHHHH!!!

Brandishing one lightsaber, Darth Sidious lunges up into the air, letting out a loud shrill scream.

Darth Sidious: HAARRRGHHHHH!!!

Fight!

<Cue: General Grievous Theme>

Master Xehanort pulls his Keyblade, raising it up right as his weapon clashes right into the Sith Lord's lightsaber.

VSSSHHHH!!!

Master Xehanort points his hand outwards. sending blasts of fire right at Darth Sidious, only for the Sith Lord to quell the projectiles with his lightsaber.

VSHHHH!!! VSHHHHH!!!

Closing in onto the gap, both elderly men spins across the chamber, their weapons clashes in an explosion of sparks, lighting up the darkness in the room.

VSSSHHH!!! CLANK!!!

Master Xehanort thrusts his leg out, striking Darth Sidious in the chest.

WHAM!!!

The sheer impact of the blow sends Darth Sidious flying, causing him to crash backfirst into a stone pillar.

CRASH!!!

Master Xehanort: Is that all?

Pushing himself up, Darth Sidious sneers as he speaks out.

Darth Sidious: You do not comprehend what you are messing here.

WHOOM!!!

Raising up his hands, Darth Sidious uses the force to telekinetically lift several rocks up before chucking them straight towards Master Xehanort.

Master Xehanort simply raises up his hand, using his telekinetic ability to freeze the rocks in it's tracks before sending them flying back.

Flying back and forth, rocks are sent zipping through the air as both Master Xehanort and Darth Sidious throws the rocks at each other, the projectiles exploding into chunks upon impact.

Master Xehanort grabs onto a large boulder before throwing it across, forcing Darth Sidious to swing his lightsaber, instantly slicing the projectile into half.

VSSSSHHHH!!!

Before Darth Sidious could react, Master Xehanort suddenly flies outwards, striking the Sith Lord square in the face.

BAM!!!

Darth Sidious: ARGHHHHHH!!!

Darth Sidious screams out as he was sent crashing out of the temple.

CRASH!!!

Master Xehanort: Hm! Pathetic.

Master Xehanort spat out before flying up, persuing his opponent.

Outside

<Cue: Showdown on Yavin 4>

Landing outside of the Sith Temple, Master Xehanort looks around, only to see no signs of Darth Sidious.

Looking around, Master Xehanort shouts out.

Master Xehanort: Where are you? Come out!

Right at that moment, Master Xehanort felt a strange sensation or rather...a strangling sensation, as if some invisible force is wrapping it's fingers around his neck, clamping hard like a vice.

Master Xehanort: GACK!!! ACK!!!

Gagging out, Master Xehanort clasps at his throat, struggling to breathe as he felt his entire body lifting up into the air until his legs are dangling above the ground.

At that moment, Darth Sidious steps out of the shadows, his right hand up as he continues to lock the sorcerer in a force choke.

Master Xehanort narrows his eyes before swinging his arms out, unleashing a powerful burst of energy.

BUSSSHH!!!

Darth Sidious: What?!

Master Xehanort rushes forward, throwing multiple punches across Darth Sidious' body.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Angered, Darth Sidious thrusts out his hand, unleashing a powerful blast of lightning right onto Master Xehanort.

BZZZZZTTTTT!!!

Master Xehanort: ARGHHHHHHH!!!

Master Xehanort screams out in agony, feeling the surge of electricity crackling through his body.

Brandishing his second lightsaber, Darth Sidious began his attack by swinging out his leg, striking Master Xehanort's chin with a single kick.

WHAM!!!

Master Xehanort then swings his lightsabers across, slicing into the sorcerer only for Master Xehanort to parry his attacks with his Keyblade.

Using the force, Darth Sidious thrusts his hand out, sending Master Xehanort crashing into a stone wall.

CRASH!!!

Darth Sidious: It is hopeless. You have no hopes of defeating the power of the Sith.

Master Xehanort: I beg to differ.

Master Xehanort points his Keyblade forward, unleashing a powerful torrent of lightning right at Darth Sidious.

BZZZZZTTTTT!!!

Darth Sidious raises up his lightsabers, gritting his teeth as he blocks the attack with his weapon.

Master Xehanort raises his hand out, sending several dark orbs of magic flying towards Palpatine.

Darth Sidious quickly jumps up into the air, narrowingly dodging all the projectiles before deflecting a stray orb with his lightsaber.

Master Xehanort: Too slow!

Right at that moment, Master Xehanort appears right behind Darth Sidious, throwing a massive punch right into the Sith Lord's back.

THOOM!!!

Darth Sidious: ARGHHHHHHH!!!

Darth Sidious screams out as the impact of the blow sends him sprawling over the floor.

Landing feet first onto the ground, Master Xehanort jeers at his foe.

Master Xehanort: And you call yourself lord of the Sith? Pathetic. Even those pesky kids put up a way better fight than you.

Darth Sidious: Your overconfidence betrays you.

Darth Sidious thrusts his hands out, sending Master Xehanort flying with a single force push.

As Master Xehanort is sent flying, Darth Sidious puts his hands out, shifting his hands as a large portal began forming in thin air.

RUMBLE!!!

The entire planet's surface area began shaking as the mere presence of the portal began tearing through the surrounding areas.

CRASH!!!

Master Xehanort swings his Keyblade, slicing through chunks of rocks only to feel a sharp sensation in his chest.

SHOK!!!

Master Xehanort: ARGHHHHH!!!

Master Xehanort looks down, his eyes widens in shock as he found a lightsaber wedged in his chest.

Darth Sidious then thrusts out his hands, screaming out.

Darth Sidious: UNLIMITED POWER!!!

BZZZZZTTTT!!!

A powerful blast of Sith lightning is sent flying at unmeasurable speeds, the impact sending Master Xehanort flying into the Force Storm portal.

As the Force Storm portal closes, Darth Sidious drops down onto the floor, sighing out in exhaustion.

Darth Sidious: Aaaahhhhh...

As he recovers, Darth Sidious looks up, speaking in a dark malicious tone.

Darth Sidious: Don't you see? It's pointless to resist.

However, right at that moment, something struck Darth Sidious right in the back, causing the Sith Lord to cough out blood.

SHOK!!!

Darth Sidious: ARGHHHHHHHH!!!

Darth Sidious stumbles forward, blood pouring from his wound as he looks down, finding a Keyblade stuck in his chest.

Darth Sidious eyes gleams with hatred as he listens to a rather familiar voice saying to him.

Master Xehanort: Yes. It is pointless to resist.

Shocked, Darth Sidious questions out.

Darth Sidious: But how? I sent you through a Force Storm, you...shouldn't even be here!

Master Xehanort: Oh you got me good alright, but it's just so happen that I control time just as well. So all I need is to transport myself back and just kill you right here. Seeing that your ultimate technique has failed.

Master Xehanort points his hand in front of Darth Sidious' face, declaring out.

Master Xehanort: Your days are over!

THOOM!!!

A powerful explosion booms across the entire area as Master Xehanort stood silently, walking away as a charred piece of Darth Sidious robe is seen flying down before landing on the floor.

KO!

<Cue: Forever In My Dreams by Really Slow Motion>

Megumi: Damn, who knew that a bunch of old geezers can fight this well?

Toomi: This certainly was a very close match as both Xehanort and Palpatine has many ways to counter each other but Xehanort trumps Palpatine in pretty much many categories.

Megumi: Yeah, Palps may scale above Darth Vader who has shown faster than light speeds but that is nowhere comparable to Master Xehanort who could manipulate time itself to the point he could have just restarted this fight at the very beginning.

Sachi: And though Darth Sidious is powerful enough to take on the likes of Darth Maul and Luke Skywalker, it is supposing to note that Master Xehanort has taken down way stronger foes like Terra, Aqua. Even King Mickey himself has trouble dealing with him.

Toomi: Especially when Mickey Mouse has been shown to be more or less on the same level as Sora himself.

Megumi: I bet I know what you may be thinking. Doesn't Darth Sidious have the Force? Couldn't he use that to you know, crush his brain or mind control him?

Toomi: Unfortunately, that's not how the Force really works. As mentioned by Anakin himself, mind tricks only work on the weak minded, which is not effective against a foe like Master Xehanort who mind controls people or the time.

Sachi: Though Palpatine's Force Storms feats sure are comparable to Master Xehanort's Toy Story world feat, Palpatine unfortunately needed a lot of energy to perform the feats which as we mentioned earlier, those abilities are only available in his clone bodies whereas Master Xehanort can perform the same kind of attacks without losing his strength or life.

Megumi: Both Darth Sidious and Master Xehanort are also skilled with a blade but let's face it, Darth Sidious has not only been outmatched before but he is often times either running away from his foes or even ambushing them while Master Xehanort is more or less capable of taking on and even defeating enemies like Terra or Sora. Hell, Windu would have killed him if Anakin hadn't interfered.

Toomi: Holding the upper hand in terms of skills, strength, power and achievements, this is what gives Master Xehanort the victory over Darth Sidious.

Megumi: Looks likes Palpatine will Xeha-nort be winning this fight.

Sachi: The winner is Master Xehanort

Master Xehanort: Checkmate. And so darkness prevails, and light expires. You need a new strategy.
