Daiei vs Toho, two hive mind Kaijus that controls small insectoid thralls goes out in a war for the title of the dominating king or queen

Toomi: In your home, it's always bad enough to have a many legged creepy crawlies eating your food and possibly laying eggs in them

Megumi: But when those creepy crawlies are super big, boy you know what's going to happen next.

Toomi: Such as Legion, the insect queen of a Legion Swarm

Megumi: And Destoroyah, the Oxygen-Destroyer Mutation, she's Sachi, Toomi and I'm Megumi

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Legion swarms into What if Battles

<Cue: Queen of Disaster by Lana Del Ray>

Toomi: The Symbiotic Legion, a race from another galaxy invaded earth. They greatly damaged Gamera in the city of Sapporo when he tried to defend the earth from them. Gamera had no idea the horror that awaited the earth.

Megumi: As the ground split, the Legion queen rose. the terrible insect planned to fire off a Legion Flower into space, invading another planet with her species. She had seemingly been killed by 2 F-15s, however she resurfaced in Sendai later

Sachi: Gamera arrived to defeat her and save the universe, sacrificing his body to save the universe. however, the Legion Flower Seed exploded in Sendai, due to a High Oxygen Reaction, turning the city into a crater and nearly killing the Giant Turtle.

Toomi: The JSDF or Japanese Self Defense Force attempted to destroy her, but she was far too powerful for them. Fortunately, Gamera revived in the destroyed Sendai. Gamera headed off immediately towards Legion, and destroyed her using his ultimate weapon, the mana cannon.

Megumi: Hell yeah! Gamera, you've done it again.

Toomi: Legion has a large nasal horn which opens up and fires the Butte Legion, an incredibly strong beam which generates an intense amount of heat after firing. This beam was able to puncture Gamera's shell.

Megumi: In addition, she also has two Large sickles on her frontmost legs. these sickles are made exclusively for combat. if that wasn't enough, she can also use her sharp legs meant for burrowing as weapons as well.

Sachi: If her Horn gets ripped off somehow, the Legion Queen can fire red laser tendrils from the wound, which have such a high temperature they could easily pierce Gamera's shell!

Toomi: Legion can produce up to 100 Symbiotic Legion Soldiers an hour from the red egg chamber on her abdomen. These soldiers follow her every command and attack with tooth and claw to the end to protect their colony.

Toomi: Legion is one of only three Kaiju able to nearly kill Gamera, the others being Iris and Jiger.

Megumi: Legion singlehandedly destroyed Sendai. Even if the seed had escaped into space, Sendai would have been engulfed by the explosion from the blast needed to launch it out into space.

Megumi: And I know it does not count as a feat but the Legion Queen is the second female monster to fight Gamera which does bring up something, why is it that monster movies are so sexist?

Toomi: What do you mean?

Megumi: I mean the way companies like Toho, Daiei and Tsuburaya does things, you realized that many of their main characters are male and the females are so few that it might as well be a sausage party. The thing with Zilla seems to be a thing, I mean if something lay eggs, it's a female, there's no need for an "asexual" male to lay eggs.

Sachi: I see your point. However, as strong as Legion is in the Heisei series, she is not so much in durability.

Toomi: The Mother Legion's Interference Wave Claws are considerably more fragile than the rest of her sturdy armored body, and are able to be blasted off by sustained fire from conventional anti-tank missiles.

Megumi: And the Soldier Legion can become distracted by other electromagnetic sources, causing their focus to shift from the Mother Legion's target. Oh, and did I mention that an individual Soldier Legion is weak as hell?

Toomi: But if the horns that make Legions crown is broken off, she can no longer produce Microwaves, so she cannot produce an Electromagnetic shield or her EM Beam.

Sachi: And she did lose to Gamera in the end

Megumi: But one thing's for sure, no one dares to play when the Queen is in the house.

Destoroyah returns to destroy What if Battles

<Cue: Are We All We Are by P!nk>

Toomi: The year 1954 is the year when the orginal Godzilla rose from the nuclear bombing in Hiroshima, but at the same year, it is when Dr. Serizawa's ultimate weapon, the Oxygen Destroyer, killed the first Godzilla.

Sachi: But many years later, a species of microscopic crustatceans began mutating from the Oxygen Destroyer, forming into extemely hostile Juveniles.

Megumi: Then when a teenage Godzilla Jr makes it on land, Destoroyah returns in a bat-like flying form, proceeding to attack him as he evolves into his Aggregate Form.

Sachi: But nothing compares to the true terror of Destoroyah's final form.

Megumi: Not that is what I call a destroyer. And that crab earned it!

Toomi: Destoroyah then proceeded to attack both Godzilla and Godzilla Jr, even going far enough to kill Godzilla Jr right in front of his father.

Sachi: That's horrible!

Megumi: Such a monster, why would he do that?

Toomi: Kinda because he's actually evil in nature. But luckily, Godzilla went up and with the help of the military, he succeeded in killing Destoroyah but at the cost of his own life.

Megumi: But his Nuclear Energy ends up bringing Godzilla Jr back to life and look at him! That little baby's gonna become something even greater than daddy one day.

Sachi: Destoroyah stills returned even after his death, battling against Anguirus, Mothra, Jet Jaguar and Kiryu.

Toomi: Destoroyah is one of the most unique of all Godzilla monsters, possessing various forms for different purposes. Like the Microscopic form which can inject the Oxygen Destroyer into other organisms.

Megumi: And the Juvenile forms which can burrow and fire Microscopic beams at other organisms. Heck, they can even form into their physically larger form.

Sachi: The flying form is capable of flight, and can even change into the Aggregate Form.

Toomi: The Aggregate Form can fire Microscopic Beams and can inject the Oxygen Destroyer into other organisms. And unlike it's previous forms, Destoroyah has two large appandages that are capable of piercing his victims.

Megumi: And finally, the Final Form! Possessing wings for flight, a horn that can cut like a Katana and a long clawed tail great for grabbing opponents with.

Toomi: And last but not least, his stomach beam, although not directly shown in the film, the beam was featured in a deleted scene of the film, shown to be extremely powerful enough to cut off Godzilla's tail and destroyed one of his spikes.

Megumi: You guys remembered our last Destoroyah episode? Well lucky for you, we mean what we said and this attack will be used later on.

Sachi: Destoroyah is an extremely powerful foe, capable of throwing around monsters like Godzilla with relative ease and has shown the capacity of slicing an entire moon into half.

Megumi: That crab has even tanked multiple blasts from Burning Godzilla's Atomic Breath and he killed Godzilla Jr.

Toomi: Destoroyah is also adaptable, capable of adapting to the surrounding to suit his desires. Like his flying form to take on flying enemies, his Juvenile forms for numbers and his Final Form for muscles.

Sachi: He has even shown the capability to defeat Mothra with just a blast of his Oxygen Destroyer Beam. An attack capable of injuring and killing Godzilla and Godzilla Jr.

Megumi: Man, if a Kaiju can throw down other Kaijus that easily, it just brings up one question. Is there any way to kill him.

Toomi: To answer your question, yes. Destoroyah is weak against extreme cold, meaning, weather as cold as Liquid Nitrogen is powerful enough to kill him.

Sachi: In other words, Destoroyah is by far the first Kaiju aside from Godzilla to be killed by the military without any help from a Mecha.

Weakness

Vulnerable to freezing temperature; killed by the Super X III and other freezing weapons.

This is because the micro-oxygen in Destroyah's body liquefy at these temperatures.

Is vulnerable to intense heat.

Destroyah is killed by Burning Godzilla's meltdown in the manga.

Megumi: And while Destoroyah has a huge body mass, it also makes him slow and bulky, which makes taking on smaller and faster opponents troublesome.

Sachi: Destoroyah is also vulnerable against extreme heat, especially his death at Burning Godzilla's hands.

Megumi: Well, hot or cold, Destoroyah will forever remain as Godzilla's most formidable foe.

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

In the city of Fukouka, the ground began rumbling, shaking everything around the city.

RUMBLE!!!

Without warning, a something bursts out of the undergrowth, sending chunks of rocks and dirt flying everywhere.

CRASH!!!

A large bony nasal horn protrudes from the ground, rising up before letting out a loud roar.

Legion: SHHKKKROOOOWWWW!!!

BOOM!!! BOOM!!!

Explosions booms across the city as the giant insectoid monster trudges across the city, tearing down every building unfortunate enough to be in her path.

Legion: SHHHKKKROOOOWWW!!!

The Mother Legion lets out a loud roar, her egg chamber slowly opens up as a massive swarm of small insectoids flies out into the open.

Just as the Legion swarm is up in the air, all of a sudden, a powerful blast of energy launches down from the sky, incinerating the small insectoids.

FUUSSSHHHH!!!

The Mother Legion turns her head, looking up.

Up in the air, a large towering crimson red monster with large demonic wings swoops down from the air, it's large horn on it's forehead glows as it's yellow eyes glisters with rage.

The creature is no other than Destoroyah!

Destoroyah lands feet first across from the Mother Legion, opening his fang riddled jaw as he lets out a loud roar.

Destoroyah: RRRR-KRRRRRRR-OOOOAR!!!

The Mother Legion raises up her legs, her eyes flashes red as she trudges forward, preparing to engage Destoroyah in battle.

Announcer: Fight!

<Cue: Godzilla Battle Legends OST: Abashiri Ohara Field>

Just as the Mother Legion closes in, Destoroyah takes off into the air, swinging his clawed tail down onto her.

BAM!!!

Legion: SHHKKKRRROOOWWWW!!!

The Mother Legion lets out a roar of agony, her legs striking onto Destoroyah repeatly as the Crustacean mutation lowers himself on top of her body, his eyes full of intend to kill.

At the exact moment, the Mother Legion opens up her Egg Chamber, releasing a massive swarm of Legion soldiers right into Destoroyah.

BBZZZZTTTT!!!

Destoroyah: RRR-KKRRRRRR-OOOARRR!!!

Destoroyah lets out a loud roar, stepping away from the Mother Legion as he flails his massive armored arms around, swatting at the insectoid swarm as if they were a bunch of mosquitoes.

The Mother Legion opens up her horn, pointing it downwards, before unleashing a powerful red microwave blast right onto Destoroyah.

THOOM!!!

KABOOM!!!

The beam struck Destoroyah right in the chest, causing him to let out a loud roar of agony.

Destoroyah: RRR-KKKRRRRRR-OOOAAARRR!!!

Legion: SHHKKKRRRROWWWW!!!

The Mother Legion launches herself up into the air, her soldiers flanking her by the side as she slams horn first into her opponent.

BAM!!!

However, Destoroyah grabs the Mother Legion by her side before lifting her up, throwing her down onto the ground.

CRASH!!!

Destoroyah stood over her, lifting up his feet before slamming it down onto her head.

THOOM!!! THOOM!!!

Destoroyah: RRR-KKKRRRRRR-OOOAAARRRR!!!

Destoroyah lets out a loud triumph roar, only for the Mother Legion to swing her head up, sending him stumbling back.

Destoroyah: RRR-KKKRRRRKK?!

Before Destoroyah could even react, the Legion Soldiers flies up around him, biting him from all across his body.

Destoroyah: RRR-KKKRRRRR-OOOAAARRR!!!

Destoroyah lets out a loud roar, his entire body slow shrinks downwards, getting smaller and smaller as one by one, each Legion Soldier launches themselves up into the air, staring down at their enemy.

Legion Soldier: KRRKKK?!

The Legion Soldiers stood their ground, watching in shock as a large mass of small crustaceans crawls forward, launching a barrage of Oxygen Destroyer Beams from their maws.

FWWOOOSH!!!

Legion Soldier: SKREEE!!!

The Legion Soldiers lets out a loud screech, a few backing away from their assailants as the others launches themselves forward, engaging the opposing army in battle.

CLANK!!! CLANK!!! CLANK!!!

Both insectoid armies clashes against each other like opposing tidal waves, fighting fang and claw as both sides pushes against each other.

Juvenile: SKREEEEETTT!!!

One of the Juveniles lets out a loud screech of agony as a Legion Soldier bites down onto it.

Another Juvenile launches a blast of it's Oxygen Destroyer Beam, striking onto another Legion Soldier.

Legion Soldier: SKREEE!!!

As the Legion Soldiers and Destoroyah juveniles are locked in battle, the Mother Legion shifts her hind legs back, digging through the undergrowth before lowering herself into the soil below.

It didn't take long before one of the Juveniles notices the Queen's disappearance, causing it to let out a screech to the rest of it's comrades.

Juvenile: SKREEEETTT!!!

One by one, each Juvenile backs away from the Legion Soldier, merging their bodies together into one big mass.

Before any of the Legion Soldiers could react, a powerful gust of wind brushes through the air, blasting them back before a powerful Oxygen Destroyer Blast engulfs them completely.

FWOOSH!!!

Flapping his batlike wings, Destoroyah takes off into the air in hot pursuit of his opponent.

Destoroyah: RRR-KKRRRR-OOOAARRR!!!

<Cue: Godzilla: Battle Legends Super Mechagodzilla Theme>

Flying straight towards the opening, Destoroyah opens his jaws, launching a powerful blast of his Oxygen Destroyer Beam down onto the hole.

BBBZZZTTT!!!

Upon collision, the ground went off in a massive explosion, sending chunks of rocks and debris flying everywhere.

KABOOM!!!

However, right at that moment, a powerful blast of red energy struck Destoroyah right in the back of his head.

BZZZTTT!!!

Destoroyah: RRR-KKRRRR-OOOAARRR!!!

Destoroyah falls forward, crashing face first into the ground.

CRASH!!!

Legion: SHHKKKRROOWWWW!!!

The Mother Legion rose from the ground, her large insectoid legs pinning Destoroyah under as she lowers herself, preparing to finish her opponent off.

However, right at that moment, Destoroyah's horn glows a bright shade of purple before lashing his head back, slicing right through the horn of the Legion Mother.

SLASH!!!

Legion: SHHKKKKRRROOOOOWWW!!!

Feeling the agony surging through her body, the Legion Mother backs away, her eyes glows red as she faces Destoroyah once more.

Destoroyah: RRR-KKRRRRR-OOOAAARRR!!!

Legion: SHHKKKKRRROOOWWW!!!

The Legion Mother points her head down, a blast of red energy launches right off the hole that was once her horn.

THOOM!!!

KABOOM!!!

Ignoring the oncoming barrage of the Legion Mother's Red Rod, Destoroyah opens his jaw, firing a powerful blast of his Oxygen Destroyer Beam at her.

BZZZZTTTT!!!

The beam struck the Legion Mother right in her Egg Chamber, causing her to let out a roar of agony as her body went off in a fiery explosion.

KABOOM!!!

Legion: SHHHKKKRRRROOOWWW!!!

With his opponent severely weakened by the devastating blow of his last attack, Destoroyah stood with his chest pumped up, it's yellow plated cavity slowly cracking open.

CRK!!! CRK!!!

As his chest cavity opens up, a powerful sphere of energy forms within his chest before unleashing a powerful blast right onto the Legion Mother.

THOOM!!!

The Legion Mother could only watch as the blast struck her right in the face, causing her entire body to go off in a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

Fire blazes across the city, burning through every building in sight as the last of the Legion Soldiers disintergrates from the scorching heat of the blast.

As the flames dies down, Destoroyah raises his head, letting out a loud victorious roar.

Destoroyah: RRR-KKRRRR-OOOAARRR!!!

KO!

<Cue: Forever in My Dreams by Really Slow Motion>

Megumi: Man, why do I keep feeling like a huge swarm of bugs are crawling over me?

Toomi: Legion may be a tough foe, being able to take on Gamera who has fought the likes of Gyaos and Jiger in battle but Destoroyah is a whole different level.

Sachi: Indeed, Destoroyah's arms, tail and legs gave him the combat advantage over Legion, having more variety of options to choose from compared to Legion's limited choice of weaponary.

Megumi: And though her Legion Soldiers did caused the big and outnumbered Destoroyah a lot of trouble, most of them are not very powerful or durable enough to handle a way larger and physically stronger Gamera. Meaning, his strength and his Oxygen Destroyer Beam are more than enough to incinerate a single soldier completely.

Sachi: And Destoroyah being able to split himself into his juvenile form helps him to even the odds.

Toomi: But the two monster's differences in their durability is what tipped the scale. Legion may be able to tank a full artillery of the military and briefly took a full power blast of Gamera's Mana Cannon but that's nothing compared to Destoroyah tanking Nuclear Blasts from Burning Godzilla who was mentioned to be powerful enough to destroy the planet in his Meltdown Mode.

Megumi: Way higher than what Gamera and the military could dish out.

Sachi: And Destoroyah's Chest Cannon, though was only shown in the deleted scene of the movie is more than capable of sending Burning Godzilla flying with a single blast. Which is more than enough firepower to finish her off.

Toomi: Gaining the advantage in combat, durability and power, all Destoroyah needed to do was attack the Legion Mother at her weakest to gain this victory.

Megumi: Looks like Legion should have bugged out of this fight.

Sachi: The winner is Destoroyah, again.

Destoroyah: RRR-KKKRRRRR-OOOOAAARRR!!!
