King Kong vs George
Requested by elliotsanders
Universal Pictures vs Rampage, which two giant gorillas with human like qualities will emerge the true alpha gorilla?
<Cue: Invader Theme>
Toomi: Gorillas, one of the largest known great apes to exist in the world.
Megumi: And if you think these apes are big, well, they get even bigger!
Toomi: Like King Kong, the 8th Wonder of the World,
Megumi: And George, the Albino Gorilla of Rampage, she's Sachi, Toomi and I'm Megumi.
Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle
Kong is King of What if Battles
<Cue: Steal my Girl by One Direction>
Toomi: King Kong, the most legendary monster of movie history, a giant gorilla well known for his number of movies, remakes, cartoons, games and his iconic Empire States building scene.
Megumi: Yup. A monster that has been wrecking cities years before the concept of Godzilla was even created!
Toomi: Kong was born to a species of great apes that lives on Skull Island, an island located in the Bermuda Triangle where Kong eventually lived as it's ruler, being blessed with a beautiful woman as a bride.
Megumi: So monke here is a big simp. Or a Simpanzee!
Sachi: Might be. But as time goes by, Kong and Ann grew to love each other to the point when Ann was being hunted by meat eating Vastatosaurus Rexes, Kong rushed in and protected her despite being outnumbered and outsized by the dinosaurs.
Toomi: But sad to say, Ann's friends soon came to her rescue and in the process, knocked out Kong and ends up bringing him into New York City to act in some kind of show and just as you know, Kong wasn't really happy about it.
<Shows footages of King Kong wrecking havoc across New York>
Sachi: Soon, Kong found Ann where the two were happily reunited until the Military arrived and attacked, forcing Kong to climb to the top of the Empire State building.
<Shows footages of Kong climbing to the top of the Empire State building>
Toomi: Soon, several Curtiss F8C-5/O2C-1 Helldiver planes flew after Kong where they shot him down, thus bringing the end of the 8th Wonder of the World.
Megumi: You see, this movie is an exact reason why humans are the worst.
Toomi: Living all his life on Skull Island, Kong is an adept fighter, strong enough to hold his own and even kill giant monsters that lives on the island.
Sachi: Being an ape means he possesses large arms suited for climbing, swinging and even fending off predators
Megumi: And his big built actually makes him impervious to gun bullets though those don't save him from tank fire and planes.
King Kong
Adequate problem-solving skills
Minor healing factor
Formidable fighter.
Incredible agility and strength, able to produce punches with a force of Magnitude 4.2
Climbing abilities.
intelligence
Can leap great distances.
Toomi: King Kong isn't worshipped as the protector of Skull Island for nothing. During his life there, he protected the natives by fighting against various creatures like birds of preys or raptors. Even once killing a giant constrictor.
Sachi: Kong has even held his own against three Vastatosaurus Rexes, killing one by breaking it's jaw, beating the second one to death while being entangled in vines and finally killing the last one by crushing it's jaw.
Megumi: Which is amazing considering how larger those three dinosaurs are and how they had the numeral advantage over the ape.
Toomi: Kong has also shown great speed in dodging bullets and tank fire from the military, swinging through the bars of a construction site to dodge military fire and even keep his distance from his assaulters.
Feats
Worshipped as the protector and king of Skull Island
Killed a Boa Constrictor
Fended of a Pteradon
Killed a T-Rex
Held his own and killed three Vastatosaurus Rex
Threw the ship's crew down a cliff while shrugging off gunfire
Fended off a horde of bats
Shrugged off having a boulder crashing on his back
Broke out of chrome steel chains
Tore apart New York City
Climbed to the top of the Empire States building
Destroyed three planes
In King Kong lives, survived falling from the Empire States building.
Sachi: Kong's most impressive feat is by climbing all the way up to the Empire States building without stopping. Now note that the Empire States building stands 103 stories tall (1,250 feet to top floor, excludes height of antennae, which is 204 feet
Megumi: And the fact he was even capable of reaching out and destroying a plane that moves at 237 km/h.
Toomi: However, despite his strength and feats, Kong does not possess any super powers aside from the few times he did attain them. Meaning he lacks any notable projectile attacks and is still more than capable of getting harmed by normal weapons.
Sachi: What's more, Kong is also vulnerable to chemicals that can render him unconscious
Megumi: And he has a really big taste for human women. Isn't that beastiliaty?
Weakness
Kong can be easily harmed by bullets, specifically from planes
Can be easily put unconscious or tranquilized by gas bombs or chemical fumes.
Camera shy.
Was killed off in almost every end of his movies
Possesses no projectile attacks of any kind, usually relying on using whatever resources he could find
Healing factor does not heal major wounds
Toomi: It's also worth to note that despite Kong managing to successfully destroy half the number of planes sent to kill him, many of his successful attempts were out of sheer luck and the pilot's misfortune of flying too close to him, but through out most of the fight, he was at a massive disadvantage with no ways of protecting himself.
Sachi: And in almost every movie he has been in, Kong always dies in the end.
Megumi: But regardless, after watching Godzilla vs Kong, there is one thing I want to do.
Toomi: What?
Megumi: Return to Monke!
King Kong: HUARRRGHHKKKK!!!
George rampages into What if Battles
<Cue: Who We Are by Faky>
Toomi: George is an albino silverback gorilla that lives under the care of the keeper, Davis Akoye who rescued him from being slaughtered by poachers.
Megumi: And it makes it more special when you realise that this gorilla is not only white, but can apparently learn profanity quite well.
<Shows footages of George pointing a middle finger at Okoye>
Megumi: Ha ha! That's my monkey!
Toomi: Ape, Megumi. Ape.
Sachi: Anyway, interesting to note, there is a real life albino gorilla that exists before, going by the name Snowflake.
Megumi: But let's face it, they made him white just to avoid a lawsuit from Universal Studios and Legendary cause George here really resembles a certain giant gorilla he is fighting.
Toomi: Regardless, George pretty much lives a pretty nice life until one night, three space pods carrying some kind of serum which crashed landed in three different locations and George unfortunately, got mutated, growing bigger and becoming more and more aggressive by the day.
Sachi: But he wasn't the only one, as it turns out, the same serum has affected two other animals, a gray wolf named Ralph and a saltwater crocodile named Lizzie.
Megumi: You mean Wolfman and Ymir.
Sachi: What? No! But eventually as Davis tries to hunt him down, it turns out that the radio frequency from the very company that created the serum began luring the three monsters into the city where all of them had a temporary alliance before destroying the building.
Toomi: Luckily, destroying the frequency enables George to return to his docile state though he and Davis were forced to fight Ralph and Lizzie who are far less friendly than before.
Megumi: So a fight went on and eventually George saved the day by defeating Lizzie.
Toomi: Being a silverback gorilla, George possesses incredible arm strength and size, capable of scaring away a juvenile gorilla and even climb on trees and walls. When he first got mutated, he grew to the point he even killed a bear which is shocking considering how bears in real life are much larger than gorillas.
Sachi: After his mutation, George's strength and agility weren't the only thing that got enhanced. But it also gave him a healing factor that allows his to regenerate from bullet wounds and even heal from attacks that would kill him prior to his mutation.
Megumi: And these kind of powers enables him to destroy buildings just like the old games!
Man: Gentlemen, we have a problem.
George
Super Strength
Enhanced Speed
Enhanced Agility
Great Climbing
Healing Factor
Great Intelligence
Sign Language Communication
Toomi: The Serum also enabled George to travel across the world for several days without resting, fighting through various military weapons and shrugging off their attacks without any problems.
Sachi: George has even survived falling off a building after the weight of all three monsters causes the infrastructure to collapse which causes the three monsters to turn on each other.
Megumi: And George though is not the fastest or the strongest of the trio, he was smart enough to use whatever resources he has to fend off his attackers and even kill Lizzie, a crocodile much much larger compared to him. Wait, there's something I just knew.
Sachi: What?
Megumi: Is it a weird coincidence that George shares the same name as Curious George?
<Shows footages of a hologram of a giant George 'rampaging' the city>
Sachi: So by your logic, Dwayne Johnson is the Man with the Yellow Hat?
Megumi: Pretty much. Heh!
Feats
Can destroy all manner of military weapons, including tanks, helicopters, & mechs
Can damage buildings so much that they collapse
Can one-shot buildings with Ape Stomp
Regularly lays waste to cities
Killed a bear
Put a rebellious juvenile gorilla in his place
Can lift & throw double-decker buses
Can shake parts of buildings by kicking them
Can tank aerial bombings that destroy cities
Traveled across North America without resting
Survived falling off a building
Endured getting bitten by Lizzie, the same Lizzie that bit off Ralph's head
Killed Lizzie
Survived getting impaled by a beam
Toomi: However, being raised in captivity under the care of human workers, George has the least experience in dealing against threats, mainly due to how he has never been made to fend for himself in the wild.
Sachi: Which also shows him struggling against both Ralph and Lizzie with George being unable to keep up with the wolf's speed and was outmuscled by Lizzie.
Megumi: And signals can make him really aggressive as the movie shows that the radio frequency was the reason why all three monsters team up to destroy the source of it.
Weakness
Least experienced to fend for himself
Outsped by Ralph
Almost killed by Lizzie
Despite his healing factor, George can still be harmed by ordinary means
Toomi: And note that despite defeating Lizzie, George was only able to do so with the help of Davis Okoye so meaning that if Davis hadn't interfered by throwing the grenades into Lizzie's gills, George would have died during that fight.
Sachi: And George does have a dirty mind.
Megumi: But one things for sure, George ain't gonna be curious enough for another mutation ever again!
George: GGGGRRRRHHHHH!!!
Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.
Sachi: Don't forget to vote, comment what you think of the fight.
Megumi: Yeah, but right now, it's time for a Death Battle!
Fight
Jungle
In the hot humid weather of summer, King Kong sat alone on the peak of a mountain, resting by himself.
However, not too far away, all of a sudden, something crashes onto the forest, creating a massive explosion in the process.
KABOOM!!!
<Cue: Beatdown by Tyler Bates and Joanne Hugginbottom>
Startled, King Kong rears up his head, searching for the source of the sound.
As the smoke clears, right at that moment, a loud roar echoes from the forest, shocking King Kong.
???: GGGGRRRRHHHHH!!!
King Kong: Hoo hoo!
King Kong hoots out before leaping off the rock, landing feet first onto the ground.
THOOM!!!
King Kong looks up, growling just as a large white figure bursts out of the trees.
THOOM!!!
Upon laying eyes on the figure, Kong widens his eyes in shock.
Standing in front of him is a gorilla looking almost identical to him except for the white pigmentation of his fur.
That gorilla is George, the Albino mutated Gorilla.
Maddened by the serum, George faces King Kong, letting out a loud menacing roar at him.
George: GGGRRRRHHHH!!!
King Kong: HUARRGHHHHH!!!
Both King Kong and George stands upright, beating their chests before lunging forward, closing in onto each other.
Announcer: Fight!
<Cue: The Battle of Skull Island by Henry Jackman>
SCRUCH!!!
Both gorillas grabs onto each other, wrestling against one another as they grit their teeth.
King Kong thrusts his arm to the side, throwing George down onto the floor before slamming his arms down, striking into the albino.
WHAM!!! BAM!!!
George raises up his arm, shielding himself from the 8th Wonder's blows before throwing a straight punch, sending Kong flying back.
WHAM!!!
King Kong: GRRR!!!
As King Kong rolls across the floor, George dashes forward, ramming into the gorilla.
BOOM!!!
King Kong then grabs onto a boulder, slamming it hard into George's head.
CRASH!!!
George: GRRRRHHHH!!!
As George stumbles back, clutching his head in agony, King Kong pounces onto him, punching him twice.
WHAM!!! BAM!!!
Kong then bites down onto George, causing the gorilla to let out a loud roar.
George: RAAAHHHH!!!
King Kong then flips George over before throwing him straight onto a nearby rock.
CRASH!!!
As George falls flat onto the ground, King Kong stood upright, beating his chest as he lets out a victorious roar.
King Kong: HUARRGHHHHH!!!
However, the fight is still far from over.
Although injured by the simultaneous blows from the giant gorilla, George pushes himself up, his healing factor closing his wounds and mending his bones as lets out a loud defiant roar at Kong.
George: GGGRRRHHHH!!!
King Kong: Hoo!!!
King Kong turns around, growling as he lunges forward, only for George to dash forward, sliding underneath King Kong before grabbing him by the feet.
King Kong widens his eyes in horror before he felt the incredible amount of force sending him up into the air.
George: GRRRRHHHH!!!
George lets out a loud roar before slamming King Kong forcefully onto the ground.
THOOM!!!
George then pulls King Kong by the feet before throwing him across the tree.
CRASH!!!
The tree explodes into splinters as King Kong falls backfirst onto the ground, fracturing his shoulder in the process.
King Kong: HUARGHHHH!!!
George: GRRRRHHHHH!!!
George glares at King Kong as the Skull Island protector pushes himself up, slamming his arm forcefully into a boulder to fix back his shoulder before turning back to face George.
Grabbing onto a tree branch, King Kong growls as he charges forward like a raging bull, throwing the tree at George to which the gorilla dodges by swerving to the side.
King Kong jumps up, pouncing onto George before punching him several times.
WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!
As King Kong is about to throw one more punch, George grabs King Kong by the arm before swinging him across, slamming him hard into a tree.
CRACK!!!
George then throws a punch, striking King Kong across the face.
WHAM!!!
George then throws another punch.
BAM!!!
George then jumps up, thrusting his feet out.
POW!!!
As King Kong is stumbling backwards, George then grabs the ape by the arms before pulling onto it.
With one mighty tug, George rips both of King Kong's arms out, the sound of flesh tearing cuts through the air.
SHRRIIIIP!!!!
King Kong: HUARRGHHHHH!!!
King Kong lets out a roar of agony only for George to strike him with his arm.
BAM!!!
As King Kong collapses onto the ground, George swings King Kong's arms downwards, striking onto the injured gorilla repeatedly.
BAM!!! BAM!!! BAM!!!
George: GGGGGRRRRHHHHH!!!
George lets out one final roar before slamming the arm down, shattering Kong's skull with one last hit.
THOOM!!!
With his opponent defeated, George tosses both of King Kong's arms aside before turning around, climbing up onto a tree before swinging away.
KO!
<Cue: Love, Again by CHIHIRO>
Megumi: Looks like another gorilla's gonna join Harambe in the after life.
Toomi: King Kong having fought all his life does give him the advantage in this fight but George's strength and healing factor won out in the end.
Sachi: Indeed, though Kong's battle against the Vastatosaurus rex was indeed impressive, George has held his own against Lizzie, a creature whose jaws are strong enough to destroy jets with a single bite.
Megumi: King Kong's speed is certainly impressive enough to keep George on his toes, he lacks completely in durability due to the fact he is a true blue gorilla with no enhancements of any kind. I mean Kong has gotten hurt and even killed by bullets whereas the same kind of attack from a much more technologically advanced military vehicles were shrugged off completely by him
Toomi: Even though Kong was shot down, there is also a chance that Kong wouldn't have survived falling from the Empire States building since his own healing factor didn't have anything that involves mending bones and regrowing back lost limbs.
Sachi: And George fell down from a building, probably a bit smaller than the Empire States and was clearly fine.
Megumi: And remember when we said that George is ill suited to fight due to the lack of experience? Well it turns out experience isn't a factor to this fight at all.
Toomi: Correct, the big difference is their mind power. Having being taught by a human, George possesses a human's level of intelligence to form strategies and even outsmart enemies whereas Kong would mostly prefer to fight head on, even willing to face the planes on the top of the Empire States despite being put in a tactical disadvantage.
Sachi: Though that wouldn't be a problem since the most recent Kong doesn't have those weaknesses anymore.
Toomi: Having the advantage in brains, strength and durability, we can conclude that George can just simply rip off King Kong's arm and claim this victory in a long shot.
Megumi: Looks like George has killed King Kong by going Bing Bong
Sachi: The winner is George.
George: GRRRRHHHH!!!
Toomi: Hey guys, thank you so much for checking out our battle in What if Battles 2.
Sachi: If you want more content like this, don't forget to add this in your library and comment if you have any idea for a fight.
Megumi: Until then, next time on What if Battles...
