Dragon Ball Heroes vs SEGA, which two powerful icons created by Japanese companies will emerge as the victor in the battle of Gods

Toomi: Japan, a country known for creating popular anime and games have creators who birthed powerful Titans with the powers to rival the Gods

Megumi: And their transformations makes them stronger and stronger every time.

Toomi: Such as Son Goku, the Saiyan of the 7th Universe,

Megumi: And Sonic the Hedgehog, the Leader of the Freedom Fighters, she's Sachi, Toomi and I'm Megumi

Toomi: For this battle both combatants are going to be fighting at their top forms, with Goku having feats from the Dragon Ball Heroes series and Sonic having his feats from the Archie Comics. The two will have access to all their forms but Goku will not be having Ultra Instinct due

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Toomi: In ancient China, there tells the story of the Infamous God Sun Wukong, known as the Monkey King who travels alongside Tang Monk, Sandy and Pigsy to the West.

Megumi: And that story is so epic to the point a certain genius brought upon one of the most powerful character in anime, Son Goku.

Sachi: But before he was known as that, Goku under the name of Kakarot was born on Planet Vegeta under the parentage of Bardock and Gine.

Megumi: But when Frieza was planning on blowing up the planet, the couple was forced to send their youngest son onto a Planet with inhabitants so weak that not even Frieza would want to invade. A planet known as Earth.

Toomi: After crashlanding on Earth, Goku was then found and adopted by a kindly old man named Gohan.

Megumi: As Goku grows older, he was then found by a girl named Bulma which in turn sparked a lifelong journey to become stronger, seeking training from Grandpa Gohan's own teacher Master Roshi and became one of the strongest fighters on Earth.

Sachi: And after defeating the Demon King Piccolo, Goku was then killed during a fight with his brother which resulted in him receiving further training by the God King Kai in the Otherworld who taught Goku his most signature attacks, the Kame Hame Ha, the Spirit Bomb and the Kaio Ken.

Toomi: Truth to be told, those techniques were extremely useful, capable of bringing the defeat of the Saiyans and Frieza, but that's where Goku achieved the transformation, the Legendary Super Saiyan

Sachi: That's not the only transformation he has, soon, Goku began mastering three other forms, Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3 and Super Saiyan 4.

Megumi: Wait, Super Saiyan 4? This is not GT! I thought we will be using Super Saiyan God, Super Saiyan Blue and Ultra Instinct.

Toomi: No. You see, while this Goku definitely went through the events of Z, he became a Time Patroller so basically, he never went through the events of Super which in other words, means this Goku never trained with Whis so he never got God Ki and he don't have Ultra Instinct.

It's even more shocking to find out that this Goku already defeated a fifth dimensional being way before Resurrection F and even the 6th Universe tournament arc even happened.

Sachi: He has even taken down Xeno Four-Star Shenron, a being more powerful than the original Nouva Shenron, fight on par with Cumber and even defeated Salsa as a Super Saiyan.

Megumi: And his base form can already fodderise Demigra's giant form, which is the stronger form of his normal form who is already capable of destroying multiverses.

Sachi: And when Goku is considered the strongest warrior, he's even considered stronger than fodders like Chronoa, the Supreme Kai of Time who can control time itself to the point she is literally holding the entire multiverse in her hand.

Megumi: So if you think Jiren's feat of countering Hit's time skip is impressive, trust me, that is nothing compared to Towa and Mira being able to exist outside of time itself.

Toomi: However, as absurd as his power is, Goku's strength, speed, ki output, and durability still has limitations and Goku has been overpowered multiple times

Sachi: Like the time he went up against Demon God Dabura and could barely even land a hit on him.

Megumi: Holy hell! This Goku might become to overpowered to the point he can even clap Zeno. But in the end, Goku will train hard, eat hard and work hard to ensure the timelines will be safe.

Toomi: Sonic Maurice Hedgehog was born in the middle of the Great War to Jules and Bernadatte hedgehog who were famous war heroes. But while fighting the Egg people known as the Overlanders Sonic's father was wounded and Robotized and so was his mix mother soon after Sonic was left an orphan.

Megumi: Dr.Ivo Robotink then took over the world and Sonic was raised by his uncle Charles and at a young age he and a bunch of other young kids challenged Robotnik and thus the Freedom Fighters were born. Sachi: As the years passed The Freedom Fighters grew and expanded to become Robotnik's greatest foes and eventually defeated him liberating the planet of his rule then having to fight his clone Dr. Eggman.

Megumi: I know what you may be thinking, so Sonic the Hedgehog is just going to be like the games right? Moving at the speed of sound? Yeah, but no.

Toomi: Unlike the game Sonic you see in the modern games, Sonic from the Archie comics can travel at MFTl speeds and attack foes before they even breathe and he can travel so fast he travelled across the Mutiverse twice in a single day

Sachi: And that's not even the limit of his speed he can travel so fast he can break reality and travel back in time and change it in a instant with his speed he is also extremely agile and quick when dodging blows. Heck you can even fire a massive array of missiles and not one of them would even hit him.

Megumi: He also is extremely Strong he can easily rip apart Eggman's Egg Beater suit and match blows with the Extremely Powerful Enerjak and Mammoth Mogul on a daily basis

Toomi: He can hit foes at Light speed with the the Light-speed Homing attack and travel instantly at Top speeds with Sonic Boost and run over foes bounce off the ground and hit foes with the bounce attack and spin round at high speeds to create the Blue Tornado

Sachi: He can also transform into different forms to help match him in any environment, Polar Sonic in the Antartic, Eco Sonic for natural environment and Solar Sonic for space. In fact, he can manipulate, ice, fire and plant life as well.

Sachi: However both of these forms have a time limit but restore Sonic in peak condition.

Toomi: Sonic is extremely durable he tanked a blast from the Ultimate Annihilator at point blank range that destroyed enitre Mutiverses and was only Knocked out and taken hits from reality warpers Enerjak and Mammoth Mogul.

Megumi: And even though he is not as smart as Tails and Dr. Eggman, Sonic has foiled the evil doctor's plans a lot of times.

Sachi: And it's not the typical boss fight against Eggman in the games. At that time, Eggman has finally attained unlimited power through gathering the chaos emeralds. With this power, Eggman managed to rewrite the entire multiverse in his own image.

Megumi: But Sonic, being the good trooper he is, decided to foil Eggman's plans once again. In order to do this, sonic had to overcome the super genesis wave and save his multiverse, which Megaman is also apart of, apparently.

Toomi: And it ended up destroying the entire universe. Though Sonic managed to warp the reality itself.

Sachi: Wrong. Zones are alternate universes and dimensions. In the comics, it was stated that sonic was sent to another galaxy, meaning that there's a lot more than 849,000 light years in a zone. Believe it or not, zones are actually the size of universes.

Megumi: Holy shit! And the fact that Sonic is stronger than Mongul who is responsible for causing multiversal damage that means, damn, that is one overpowered Hedgehog.

Toomi: Unfortunately, even Sonic does fall short in some categories. His overconfidence and headstrong attitude does make him underestimate his opponents and he can be easily outsmarted by smarter opponents like Eggman.

Megumi: And like many overpowered do gooders, he doesn't go all out in a fight unless he really have to which either gives his opponents an advantage or just drags the fight out longer. I mean with all that power, Sonic can just one shot Eggman and get everything over with.

Sachi: And being a speedster practically means Sonic can't stay still for too long.

Sonic: This is my power, and I'm not using it to run away anymore. I'm using it to protect...my...friends.

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Running at super speed, Sonic smirks as he continues running, his legs moving at a speeding blue blur, never relenting and never slowing.

Meanwhile, Goku sat down on a grass patch, happily opening up a sack as he pipes.

Goku: Oh boy I'm hungry! I wonder what Chi Chi made for me today.

As Goku reaches into his sack, he pulls out something that immediately made his mouth water.

Held up high in his hand is a large golden brown roasted pork leg, it's savoury smell drifting into the air as Goku opens his mouth, preparing to take a bite.

CHOMP!!!

Goku: Huh?

Goku opens his eyes, looking down in utter terror.

The large delicious pork leg he was just about to bite into is suddenly gone.

Goku looks around, only to catch a speeding blue blur running into the distance. Angered, Goku lunges into the air, giving chase.

WHOOSH!!!

Meanwhile, Sonic tosses the bone back, rubbing his tummy as he lets out a satisfied burp, unaware of Goku's presence.

Sonic: Ahhh, that hit the spot.

Goku: Hey!

Sonic turns around, his eyes widens in shock as he saw Goku closing in onto him, just barely as he shouts at him.

Goku: You killed my mushu! Cook me another one.

Sonic: No way!

ZZZSSSTTT!!!

Before Sonic could react, all of a sudden, Goku suddenly reappeared in front of him and he throws out his fist, striking Sonic square in the cheek.

BAM!!!

As Sonic is sent rolling back, the blue hedgehog jumps back and he raises up his hands, saying.

Sonic: Oh I see, wanna play it like that? Alright. Let's go!

Announcer: Fight!

WHOOSH!!! THOOM!!!

Both Goku and Sonic throws a punch, their fists collides into a massive shockwave.

Just as Goku swings his leg across, Sonic ducks down before throwing an uppercut, sending Goku flying with a single blow.

WHAM!!!

Goku: AAAAHHHHH!!!

Before Goku's body could even touch the ground, Sonic dashes forward, striking into Goku repeatly.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Having enough of Sonic's attacks, Goku thrusts out his arms, letting out a loud scream of fury.

Goku: YYYAAAHHHHH!!!

BUUSSSHHHHH!!!

Sonic: What?

Before Sonic could react, Goku throws one powerful punch right into him.

WHAM!!!

As Sonic rolls back, he clutches his cheek, looking up only to find Goku standing over him with a golden aura flowing around him.

His raven black hair now gold in color.

Goku has transformed into a Super Saiyan!

Goku puts out his hand, offering it to Sonic as he compliments him.

Goku: I'm impressed. That actually hurt.

Sonic took the hand, allowing Goku to pull him up as Sonic said.

Sonic: The same could be said to you. And transformations huh?

Sonic's entire body glows green as Sonic's fur switches from blue to green.

Sonic has become Eco Sonic!

Sonic: I can do that too.

Goku: Great! Now show me what you got!

WHOOSH!!!

Goku lunges forward, prompting Sonic to lift his hands up.

SHHCCKKKK!!!

Almost immediately, several large roots erects from the ground, lunging towards Goku.

Goku flies back, whipping out his power pole before swinging it across.

CRACK!!! SNAP!!!

The roots snaps into half as Goku swings his power pole before throwing it right at Sonic.

Sonic then curls up into a ball, spinning on the ground rapidly at blurring speed just as the Power Pole struck onto him.

But to Goku's horror, the power pole began chipping as it touches the back of Sonic, drilling until there is nothing left.

Goku: No way! The Power Pole!

WHOOSH!!!

Sonic's fur then changes from green to red as he lunges forward, throwing one fiery and explosive punch right into Goku.

BOOM!!!

Goku: YYYAAAHHHH!!!

Goku screams out, feeling the scorching sensation in the chest as Sonic rushes forward, his fur now red in color.

Sonic has transformed into Solar Sonic!

FWOOM!!! FWOOM!!!

Goku raises his hands, parrying blow after blow as Sonic throws multiple fiery punches at him before Goku thrusts his leg out, striking Sonic by the back with a single kick.

WHAM!!!

BUUUSSSHHHH!!!

Goku unleashes another powerful aura, now transformed into a Super Saiyan 2.

Goku and Sonic dashes across the floor, their hands moving at a speeding blur as barrages of ki blasts and fire balls flies across the air, causing the landscape to explode around them.

KABOOM!!!

Sonic watches as Goku flies out of the smoke, his fists clenches as he lets out another bloodcurling scream.

Goku: YYYYAAAAHHHHHH!!!

BUUUSSSHHH!!!

As a powerful burst of aura explodes around Goku, Sonic watches in shock as Goku's hair began growing, flowing all the way down his waist level, his muscles expanding to the point his eye brows are barely noticable.

Goku has transformed into a Super Saiyan 3!

Sonic stares at Goku, his jaws drops as Goku faces him, saying.

Goku: Surprised? Well this is the power of the Super Saiyan 3 and I'm impressed. You're one of those individuals who have managed to push me this far.

Sonic lunges forward, only for Goku to suddenly disappear in a flash.

ZZZSSTTT!!!

Sonic: Huh?

As Sonic freezes in his tracks, Goku reappears behind him and he throws a punch.

WHAM!!!

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Goku attacks Sonic with a flurry of kicks and punches before putting his hands close to each other, charging up a sphere of energy within his palms.

Goku: KA...ME....HA...ME...HA!!!

THOOM!!!

A single blast from Goku's Kame hame Ha sent Sonic flying, crashing into a boulder.

CRASH!!!

The sheer impact of the attack and the shock from the crash causes Solar Sonic to revert back into his base form.

Sonic pushes himself up, facing Goku as he said.

Sonic: Not bad. That kind of hurt but now.

Sonic then spreads out his hands, with several colored gems flying around him.

The Seven Gems then glows brightly before Sonic's entire body flashes a blinding light of gold.

WUUUSSSHHHH!!!

Sonic has transformed into Super Sonic!

However, his transformation only seem to have gotten a rather shocked and bizzare expression from Goku.

Goku: Uhhh...that's your Super form? Are you sure you're not a Saiyan?

Sonic: Saiyan?

Goku: Yeah, I mean you even look like my Super Saiyan form, did you copy me?

Offended by Goku's words, Sonic screamed at him.

Sonic: What?! First off all, that form is purely genuine out of the power of Chaos Control, I didn't rip off that Super whatever form you mentioned!

Goku: Hey calm down, it was just a joke. But now...

<Cue: Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 Theme Song>

Goku raises up his hands, getting into a fighting stance as he declares out.

Goku: Alright, now show me what you got.

Sonic: Gladly.

ZZZSSTTT!!!

Sonic suddenly disappears in a flash, shocking Goku momentarily.

Goku: What?!

Before Goku could react, he felt several hard blows striking him across his body.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Goku: ARRRGGHHHH!!!

As Sonic reappears from behind, Goku throws a punch.

WHAM!!!

But what he saw causes his eyes to widen in horror.

Not only is Sonic completely unharmed by the blow, but Sonic wrapped his fingers around Goku's arm before tossing him over his shoulder, slamming him hard onto the ground.

THOOM!!!

WHAM!!!

Sonic throws a kick, sending Goku flying before lunging up into the sky.

Goku spun around, grabbing Sonic by his arms before flying up, wrestling against the Hedgehog.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Goku throws several straight punches into Sonic only for Sonic to swing his leg up, striking Goku in the gut.

BAM!!!

Goku: HUUARRRGHHHHH!!!

Goku launches himself up into the air, two spheres of ki forms within his palms as he lunges down, launching a powerful ki blast down onto Sonic.

THOOM!!!

However, Sonic flies out of the smoke before placing his hand next to Goku.

WHOOM!!!

A powerful sphere of energy forms within Sonic's palm just as he unleashes a powerful blast of energy right into Goku.

THOOM!!!

Goku: ARRRGHHHHH!!!

Goku screams out in agony, crashing back first into the ground.

As he pushes himself up, Sonic flies down, asking.

Sonic: What's wrong? Finished?

Goku: No...not yet. HUUUUAAAARRRGHHHH!!!

Goku clenches his fist, letting out a loud scream as his entire body explodes in a powerful explosion of light.

FWUUUSSSHHHH!!!

Sonic watches in awe, watching just as Goku underwent another transformation

However, this time, Goku looks completely different.

<Cue: Yeah Break Care Break>

Unlike his previous three forms, Goku's hair is now darker. Devoid of his orange gi, Goku's body is now covered in fur along with a long monkey tail flowing from the back of his pants.

Goku has transformed into a Super Saiyan 4!

Blinking his purple rimmed eyes, Goku flies up, facing Sonic as he said.

Goku: I never thought it would have to resort to this but it's pretty obvious I can't beat you with my previous forms. So...

ZSSSSTTTT!!!

All of a sudden, Goku reappears in front of Sonic, throwing a hard punch right into Sonic's gut.

BAM!!!

Sonic: ARRRGHHHHH!!!

Goku: Now you shall taste my real power.

Both Sonic and Goku flies across the air, trading blows as explosions of shockwaves shakes the entire planet.

THOOM!!! THOOM!!! THOOM!!!

Sonic then summons the Chaos Emeralds, screaming out.

Sonic: CHAOS...CONTROL!!!

Goku raises up his hands, summoning a small spirit bomb before throwing it right onto Sonic.

The sheer impact of their combined attacks immediately causes the entire planet around them to go off in a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

However, the destruction of the planet did not hinder the battle.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Across the midst of asteroids floating in space, Goku and Sonic continues to trade blows amongst each other, their power seemingly evenly matched.

Goku: Kame Hame Ha!

THOOM!!!

As Goku launches a powerful Kame Hame Ha blast, Sonic flies forward, dodging the attack before throwing a straight punch right into Goku's cheek.

WHAM!!!

Goku clenches his fist before throwing his fist up into Sonic's chin.

WHAM!!!

As Sonic is sent flying, Goku flies forward, throwing multiple punches right at him.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Goku then places his hands together, charging up one more Kame hame Ha wave.

Goku: Ka...me...ha...me...

Sonic looks back, spreading out his hands as he launches a sphere of energy right at Goku.

THOOM!!!

But right at that moment, Goku disappears completely.

ZZZSSTTT!!!

Sonic: What?

ZSSSTTT!!!

Sonic could only look down in horror as Goku reappears right below him, unleashing a powerful Kame Ham Ha wave right into his face.

Goku: HA!!!

THOOM!!!

Sonic: AAAAHHHHH!!!

Sonic screams out in agony as he felt the powerful ki blast striking into him, causing his body to go off in a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

However, the fight is still not far from over.

At that exact moment, a flash of light explodes within the ki blast.

FLASH!!!

Goku: What?!

Sonic's entire body erupts into a massive burst of energy, his body now surrounded in a couple of energy loops with tiny black stars revolving around him.

Sonic has become Ultra Sonic!

Goku: No way! Impossible.

Sonic: Nothing is impossible buddy, now let's end this!

Goku: With pleasure!

WHOOSH!!!

Both Goku and Sonic closes in onto each other, the fists collides into a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Both Goku and Sonic flies across the cosmos, trading blows except Goku began realising that something is wrong.

Not only is Sonic moving at a speeding blur, but he could feel his arms barely blocking blow after blow.

It took several more hits before Ultra Sonic flips into the air, throwing a kick up into Goku's stomach.

WHAM!!!

The Super Saiyan 4 grits his teeth before thrusting his arms out, firing a barrage of ki blasts at Sonic.

PIU!!! PIU!!! PIU!!!

But rather than react, Ultra Sonic simply wave his hand, instantly dispersing the ki blasts with a single wave.

THOOM!!!

Goku: What?!

Sonic then lifts up his hand, lifting several asteroids up into the air, causing them to morph.

WHOOM!!!

The asteroid immediately morphs into a massive spike and Ultra Sonic thrusts his arm out, sending the makeshift spear impaling right into Goku's chest.

SHOK!!!

Goku: ARRRGHHHH!!!

TWIP!!! TWIP!!! TWIP!!!

Several asteroid spears flies across space at a blinding speed, forcing Goku into the defensive.

CRACK!!! CRACK!!! CRACK!!!

At that moment, Sonic lunges forward, spinning at a blurring speed before his spikes began impaling right into Goku, cutting right into his flesh.

RRRRIIPPPP!!!

Goku: ARRRRGHHHHH!!!

With Goku bleeding out from the attack, Ultra Sonic to scream out.

Sonic: CHAOS CONTROL!!!

A massive stream of energy erupts from the Chaos Emerald, causing everything around Goku to go off in a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

The fiery explosion struck right into Goku, incinerating his entire body before erupting in another explosion.

KABOOM!!!

As the explosion dies down, Sonic sighs to himself, remarking out.

Sonic: Wow, honestly, I'm impressed. That guy was much tougher than I thought.

Sonic then looks around, staring at the mass array of debris around him and he curses out.

Sonic: Darn it! Better go fix everything back. Hm. Maybe I better go buy that guy something to make up for that meat I ate.

KO!

<Cue: Forever In My Dreams by Really Slow Motion>

Megumi: Man, this fight has certainly blown me away. And the planet itself too.

Toomi: To be honest, this fight is very close, with both Goku and Sonic matching each other in martial arts, strength and experience, facing their fair share of battles and feats.

Sachi: But the one thing that gave Sonic the clear advantage is speed. Now Goku is fast enough to keep up with Demigra, Mira and Towa, whom the latter has outsped Goku who has traversed the afterlife at 4.38 quadrillion times FTL during the Otherworld Tournament Saga. But that is nothing compared to Sonic who cross an entire multiverse in 4 seconds, even stating that he's capable of visiting all the planets within the universe in a short amount of time, which places him at 324.68 Octillion x FTL

Megumi: Not to mention, Sonic has also dealt with Mammoth Mogul and Solaris, the latter being capable of moving to different time periods by movement alone. So he has dealt with time travelling enemies the similar to Towa and Mira.

Toomi: What's more, though Xeno Goku is definitely stronger than tougher than his canon counterpart, he has lost battles and even lost his stamina in long runs whereas Sonic is capable of taking large amounts of punishment with only mild annoyances. Especially when his Super Form is literally invulnerable.

Sachi: Goku also has highly destructive universal level power as he not only defeated Mira who according to Towa is powerful enough to destroy a universe, but he was not allowed to transform into a Super Saiyan 4 as Chronoa mentioned that he can destroy the universe in that form.

Megumi: Which is impressive except that Sonic himself can not only manipulate reality, but he has also bested multiversal enemies like Mongul and Enerjack, and even Solaris, who can devour all of space time itself. And just to note, the Pre-Genesis multiverse contains infinite universes.

Toomi: But regardless to say, there are many things which makes both Goku and Sonic similar as their power ups and transformations have saved them time and time again, with the two even dealing with enemies capable of time travel and universal level destruction.

Sachi: And their base forms are already powerful enough to no sell universal level attacks which means that their transformations makes them levels beyond what we can see.

Megumi: Not only that but with Sonic's ability to outrun time manipulators, that puts him above even Canon Goku who's Kaio Ken Blue form has countered Hit's Time Skip.

Sachi: And just to note, Hit's Time Skip is a technique where the user skips time for a tenth of a second, and in that limited time, they are able to move freely. But it does not stop time user's foe will still be able to move and it can be countered if the opponent knows if the user is going to use it.

Megumi: Yeah, and Sonic dealt with time travels, time stoppers and he himself can time travel so that puts him leagues above Hit.

Toomi: While Goku's transformations, power and skills does keep Sonic on his toes, it was the Hedgehog's power, durability, transformations and overwhelming speed that completely gave him this victory.

Megumi: Looks like Goku Kiao-kan't beat Sonic. I'm just Saiyan. Just hope Chi Chi won't be feeling Blue about it.

Sachi: The winner is Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic: You're too slow!

* The part where Goku performed a Instant Transmission Kame Hame Ha on Sonic is inspired by his attack on Cell during the Cell Saga

* Their banter is also based off people accusing Sonic of ripping off Dragon Ball as his Super form debuted Sonic 2, which was released in Novemer 1992 while the manga where Goku first transformed into a Super Saiyan was released in March 1991

* However, it might not be the case as Sonic 1 began as a tech demo finished in June 1990. This tech demo was created as a test not only of the potential gameplay of a Sonic game, but also as a test of Sonic's viability as a mascot. The tech demo was well-recieved, so development for Sonic 1 was greenlit.
