Megumi: You mean inspire nothing but flame wars on the Internet?

Toomi: What? No! Well maybe. But let's not forget about their family members living in the shadows as well, like Son Gohan, the son of Goku,

Megumi: And Supergirl, the Daughter of Krypton, she's Sachi, Toomi and I'm Megumi.

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Toomi: After Son Goku defeated the son of King Piccolo in the World Martial Arts Tournament, all seems to be normal.

Megumi: Especially when Goku and Chi Chi got married and had a son to which Goku named after his Grandfather, Gohan.

Sachi: Goku then raises his son until a toddler age before bringing him over to show his friends his son when right at that moment, Raditz, his long lost brother, came and abducted him.

Toomi: Having no other choice, Goku seeked an alliance with Piccolo where the two fought and succeeded at killing Raditz at the cost of Goku's life.

Sachi: With Goku dead and the Saiyans coming, Piccolo took it over himself to train Gohan to become strong enough to fight though despite being the son of Goku, Gohan does not have his father's eagerness to fight.

Toomi: Regardless, Gohan's skills eventually improves that after Goku came back and defeated the Saiyans, Gohan and Krillin went to Namek to get the Dragon Balls there where he got to know Frieza.

Sachi: Frieza was not the only adversary Gohan got to know, he eventually met enemies like Cell and Buu that continues to push his limits until he eventually got married to Videl and have a daughter named Pan.

Toomi: Being a half Saiyan, Gohan possesses similar abilities to his father which involves super strength, ki blast, flight, super speed and even a Zenkai boost.

Megumi: He has moves like the Masenko which he places both of his hands to his head, charges the attack, thrusts his hands forward, and shoots out a blast of ki. Quicker than the Kamehameha but not as powerful

Sachi: And like his father, he can also fire a Kame Hame Ha wave but also like his father, he can turn into a Super Saiyan.

Megumi: And when he got really mad, Gohan was the first Saiyan to reach Super Saiyan 2.

Toomi: That was not all, eventually after getting training from the Supreme Kai, Goham was able to unlock his own transformation called Mystic Gohan or Ultimate Gohan, depending on what you want to call it.

Megumi: Like during the fight against Second Form Frieza, Vegeta was not able to fight him despite being stronger than Gohan but yet Gohan was even beating him down.

Sachi: Gohan has also been shown humiliating opponents like Perfect Cell and Super Buu, both opponents who scales above Frieza who is already capable of blowing up planets.

Megumi: Not only that but even a rusty Gohan was capable of beating that Coyote 9th Universe fighter Lavanda in battle, a wolf that has freaking poison capable of killing any opponents.

Toomi: In his Super Saiyan 2 form, he was capable of fodderising all seven of the Cell Jrs, now note that considering how each Cell Jr is capable of beating each and every of the Z Fighters to near death, we can can establish over how powerful Gohan is.

Sachi: Indeed, by that time, Vegeta's final flash was already established to be capable of blowing up planets and both Goku and Trunks in their super saiyan forms already scaled above Frieza capable of doing so. And a Cell Jr not only deflected the Final Flash, but was also beating all three of them up and Gohan easily killed the same creatures with just one blow.

Toomi: Yeah, except that having a wife and a kid does hindered Gohan from his training, which to the point after the events of the Buu Saga, he stopped training.

Sachi: Which as a result, he was not only unable to hold a Super Saiyan transformation for long but he ends up getting easily defeated or even struggling against enemies he could have beaten if he had continued training.

Megumi: Sheesh. It's almost hard to believe that he was the same boy who killed Cell years ago.

Weakness

Cannot breathe in space,

Like Future Trunks, Kid Trunks, Goten, Bulla and Pan, Gohan lacks the Saiyan spirit and is less determined than Pure Saiyans (Goku, Vegeta, Bardock, etc) due to his human side inheritance taking over him

Lost his motivations and will to fight as he got older, preferring to fulfill his childhood dream and become a scholar. And he would only train and fight to protect his loved ones or if necessary.

Can be blinded by his own fury, which can lead to serious consequences.

Gohan was prone to overconfidence, even dipping into sadism during his battle with Cell and seeking to prolong his suffering as retaliation for his crimes.

Megumi: But knowing that he has friends and a family to protect, Gohan is willing to do his best and become strong enough to keep them safe.

Toomi: Kara Zor-El is born to the brilliant Kryptonian scientist Zor-El and she lived a rather happy childhood with her family on the planet Krypton.

Megumi: That is until the alien Brainiac arrived to invade the planet, he took Kandor with him, forcing Zor-El to create a forcefield around Argo City with a Brainiac Probe.

Sachi: And when Brainiac arrived, both Zor-El and Alura In-Ze were forced to send Supergirl to Earth.

Megumi: And just when the planet exploded, it ends up blowing Kara offcourse, sending her spiraling off into orbit while Kal continues his trip to Earth

Toomi: Many years has passed and soon, Supergirl crashlanded on Earth, but by the time that happened, her baby cousin isn't really a baby anymore.

Supergirl: When I arrived, I was still a thirteen year old girl, but in that time, my cousin has grown up and revealed himself to the world as Superman, the most powerful being in the universe.

Megumi: Now just hold on a minute, Kara was a teen when Clark was still a baby right?

Megumi: But considering how her baby cousin has grown into a man while she still looks young, doesn't that make her the younger cousin now?

Sachi: Yes. Anyway, Superman then took in his older but now younger cousin, allowing her to live alongside his adoptive parents, Jonathan and Martha Kent.

Megumi: And she even ended up getting along with her adoptive sister, Alex Danvers.

Sachi: But after adapting to the Yellow Sun, Kara eventually gained the same powers as Superman, turning her into a powerful superheroine known as Supergirl, attending school and internship at CatCo while battling against evil aliens like Reign, the White Martians and Cyborg Superman.

Toomi: And after aiding her cousin in destroying Brainiac and freeing her family and people, Kara then joined Superman and became a fellow member of the Justice League.

Megumi: And while the Trinity often times likes to hang out with each other, Supergirl does the same as well, forming a friendship with Batgirl, Miss Martian and Wonder Girl

Sachi: Being a Kryptonian like Superman, Supergirl is also capable of absorbing the Yellow Sun energy, allowing her to gain Super Strength, Speed, Invulnerability and Flight similar to Superman.

Toomi: She has even gained some basic knowledge of Kryptonina martial arts back in Kandor and with Wonder Woman's help, she has even received Amazonian training, allowing her to fight with a sword.

Toomi: And while Supergirl is strong, she has lost against beings as powerful as Superman, Wonder Woman, Power Girl and Doomsday, even once becoming Darkseid's slave.

Megumi: But even so, Supergirl will go out her way to show the world that like Superman, she can be a true embodiment of hope.

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

In the midst of the city, Gohan is busy walking across all of a sudden, he notices a robber with his knife up, mugging an innocent bystander.

Gohan sighs out and he says to himself.

Gohan: Well, this looks like the job for...

TWIP!!! FLOOM!!!

Gohan throws his clothes up into the air before standing there in his Great Saiyaman outfit, rushing towards the robber before throwing a punch.

WHAM!!!

The impact of the punch sends the robber, crashing into a car, causing Gohan to widen his eyes in shock.

Gohan: Oh crap!

???: Hey you!

Gohan: Yikes!

Gohan spun around, finding himself facing a tall pretty blonde woman cladded in blue and red with a iconic 'S' symbol on her chest.

She is Supergirl, the hero of National City.

Supergirl lowers herself down, saying to him.

Supergirl: You just damaged city property for that, I'm taking you in.

Sighing out, Gohan states.

Gohan: Oh well, guess I'll have no choice then.

Gohan throws off his Great Saiyaman outfit, standing there in his orange gi as he declares out.

Gohan: Putting everything I have into this!

Announcer: Fight!

WHOOSH!!!

Both Supergirl and Gohan lunges towards each other, throwing their fists into a massive collision.

THOOM!!!

Gohan drops onto the floor before spinning his body around, sending Supergirl flying with a single kick.

WHAM!!!

Supergirl: ARGHHHHH!!!

As Gohan prepares to throw another punch, Supergirl stops him midblow before throwing her fist upwards into his gut.

WHAM!!!

Gohan: HUARGHHHH!!!

Supergirl then grabs onto Gohan before tossing him over her shoulders, slamming him backfirst onto the ground.

CRASH!!!

Supergirl: Afraid you're too slow?

Supergirl asks, only for Gohan to jump up, sending her stumbling with a punch.

WHAM!!!

Gohan then swings his leg up, sending Supergirl flying into the air.

WHAM!!!

Supergirl grits her teeth as her body was sent crashing across the building before halting in the air.

As Gohan flies upwards, Supergirl ducks to the side before swinging her leg out, striking him in the torso.

WHAM!!!

Gohan: NAHHHH!!!

At that moment, Supergirl exhales out a gust of super breath, causing Gohan's entire body to freeze.

SHING!!!

Supergirl then rushes forward, slamming right into him.

CRASH!!!

The impact of the blow sends Gohan crashing into the walls of the building as Supergirl asks him.

Supergirl: I'm liking my chances

Gohan: Don't get carried away.

Gohan's hair began flowing up as his body erupts in an exploding golden aura.

BUSSHHHHH!!!

Supergirl: What?

Supergirl stares at him, her eyes widens in shock at the sight before her.

Gohan has turned into a Super Saiyan!

Smirking, Gohan says to her.

Gohan: Now this...is the power of a super saiyan. And I'm putting everything I got into this one.HAAAHHHHHH!!!

WHOOSH!!!

Before Supergirl could react, Gohan throws his fist out, sending it striking square into her nose.

WHAM!!!

As Supergirl is sent flying, Gohan thrusts his arms out, firing a barrage of ki blasts onto her.

PIU!!! PIU!!! PIU!!!

Recovering from the blow, Supergirl looks on before her body began vibrating, sending her flying towards Gohan at super speed.

FWOOM!!!

Dodging ki blast after ki blast, Supergirl's eyes glows red as she unleashes a powerful heat vision blast onto Gohan, forcing him to raise his arms out to block the attack.

KABOOM!!!

As Gohan lowers his arms down, he narrows his eyes as he concentrates his energy, transforming into a Super Saiyan 2.

BUSSSHHHHH!!!

Supergirl rushes forward, throwing a punch only for Gohan to catch her with his arm.

Supergirl: Huh?

Gohan sweeps his leg underneath her, tripping her over before swinging his elbow up, striking her under the chin.

WHAM!!!

As Supergirl is sent flying up, Gohan places his hands together and he screams out.

Gohan: MASENKO HA!!!

THOOM!!!

Gohan fires a blast, causing Supergirl to go off in a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

Gohan lowers his arms down, sighing out.

Gohan: O-Oh... Uh... I guess I went a little too far...

Gohan looks as the smoke clears, seeing a scratched up but really angry Supergirl glaring at him.

Gohan widens his eyes in shock, surprised to see her surviving his attacks.

Gohan: What?!

Before Gohan could react, Supergirl rushes towards him at a speeding blur, sending him flying with a single strike.

BAM!!!

Just as Gohan is up into the air, Supergirl began throwing multiple punches, striking Gohan across the face.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Agonized by the attack, Gohan thrusts his hand out, attempting to retaliate by firing a ki blast at her.

THOOM!!!

Supergirl swings her arm out, easily deflecting the projectile with a swing of her arm.

THOOM!!!

Supergirl's eyes glows red as she fires another heat vision onto Gohan/

VREEEEEE!!!

Gohan widens his eyes in horror as the heat vision struck onto him, causing his body to go off in an explosion.

KABOOM!!!

As fire blazes across the city, Supergirl boastingly asks.

Supergirl: You fight like a noob. Here's a taste of girl power.

At that moment, a powerful aura explodes within the flames.

WHOOSH!!!

Supergirl: Huh?

As the smoke clears, it became apparent that Gohan has transformed again except this time, he looks different.

Unlike his Super Saiyan transformation, his hair and irises are black color, almost resembling his base form except for a much sterner and stronger appearance and a way stronger aura.

Gohan has tapped into his Mystic Form.

Gohan faces Supergirl, declaring out.

Gohan: I'm not going to let you get the best of me this time!

Supergirl: I'm ending this fight.

WHOOSH!!!

Both Supergirl and Gohan flies up into the air, the two exchanging blows amongst themselves.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Just as Supergirl throws a hook, Gohan smacks her hand to the side before throwing a downward punch across.

WHAM!!!

Gohan retaliates by swinging his elbow upwards, striking Supergirl in the chin

WHAM!!!

Gohan thrusts his hand out, firing a ki blast right onto Supergirl.

THOOM!!!

Supergirl widens her eyes in horror just as the ki blast struck into her, causing her entire body to go off into an explosion.

KABOOM!!!

Gohan swoops across the air, following suit just as Supergirl crashes into a pier.

CRASH!!!

As the flames clears, Supergirl pushes herself up, bleeding and barely standing just as Gohan says out.

Gohan: End of the line.

Gohan then places his hands together as a sphere of ki forms within it, with him saying.

Gohan: Kame...hame...HA!!!

THOOM!!!

Gohan fires a powerful Kame Hame Ha blast down onto Supergirl just as the entire pier went off in a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

Supergirl: AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!

Supergirl lets out a loud deafening scream as her entire body began disintergrating before going off in another explosion.

KABOOM!!!

As the smoke clears, Gohan lands feet first on the floor, smirking as he declares out.

Gohan: I'm still in awe of your power... Thanks for showing it to me

Megumi: Welp, looks like Gohan's still got it!

Toomi: Being able to keep up with The Flash and Superman, Supergirl definitely held the speed advantage but Gohan's raw skills and strength won out in the end.

Sachi: While Supergirl has dealt against many powerful and skilled opponents, like Reign, Cyborg Superman or even Power Girl, Gohan kinds of dealt with similar kinds of opponents a lot more than her. Ranging from Super Buu, Lavenda, Dyspo and Cell.

Megumi: There's also a part with durability, while both Supergirl and Gohan can definitely take a planetary level explosions, there has been multiple times when Supergirl has been knocked out by weaker attacks while Gohan just never seem to have that problem.

Toomi: And while Supergirl is definitely smart, often times she has always relies more on impulse than strategy while Gohan's strategic thinking has brought forth his own victory like how he was able to ask Frieza to create a Death Beam cage to restrict Dyspo's movements knowing he is too fast to catch.

Sachi: And just to note, despite being able to keep up with The Flash, Supergirl cannot tap into the speed force like he could

Toomi: Having the strategic, skills and power advantage, all Gohan needs is to weaken her before finishing her off with a Kame Hame Ha.

Megumi: Looks like Looks like Supergirl should have just Go-H-on home!

Sachi: The winner is Son Gohan
