Toomi: In the world of monsters and spirits, there are those that will go all out to take them out.

Megumi: And they carry big ass swords as well!

Toomi: Such as Cloud Strife, guardian of the lifestream,

Megumi: And Ichigo Kurosaki, the enormously powerful Soul Reaper from Bleach. She's Sachi-san, Toomi-san and I'm Megumi-san.

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Cloud Omnislashes into What if Battles

Toomi: Cloud Strife was a boy born in the small town of Nibelheim. Due to not having many friends, Cloud consoled himself by himself that he was better than the other children and had very few friends as a result.

Sachi: When he was fourteen, Cloud had heard about the many tales of the legendary warrior, Sephiroth, and decided to join SOLDIER.

Megumi: Unfortunately, Cloud only ended up becoming an infantryman. During his time at shinra, Cloud befriended a first-class soldier known as Zack Fair.

Zack: Good news Tseung, me and...

<Cloud removes his helmet, revealing his face as he replies.>

Cloud: Cloud.

Zack: Me and Cloud here are both backwater experts! Oh yeah!

Megumi: Man, now that is what I call the start of a beautiful friendship.

Toomi:  So they went through almost everything, including getting exposed to a special form of energy called Mako. But then Zack died due to being gunned down and gave Cloud his sword. Now that's a true friend right there.

Sachi:  Due to witnessing Zack's death and trying to process the destruction of his home as well as getting Mako poisoning, Zack's memories and fighting skills were impressed into his memory, making him a force to be reckoned with.

Toomi: Cloud is an extremely deadly soldier, able to tangle with some of the most vicious of monsters.

Megumi:  Thanks to getting Zack's memories, Cloud got the memories of Zack's SOLDIER training, making him just as efficient in combat.

Sachi:  And it also helps him use his iconic Buster Sword.

Toomi: The Buster Sword is no ordinary sword. With its large appearance and devastating edge, Cloud can use his Sword to cut down any enemy that gets in his way.

Megumi: Cloud's Mako poisoning also enabled him to manipulate Materia, condensed mako that can offer magical and elemental powers. Cloud's Buster Sword only has two Materia Slots.

Toomi: Cloud can launch the Firaga Materia to cast fire at his enemies. Or he can utilize the Thundaga Materia to launch electric blasts or summon down lightning.

Sachi: Cloud wears two forms of support clothing. He has Ziedrich Armor which boosts his physical defense by 100%, his magic defense 98%, and his offense by 20%.

Megumi: Cloud also wears a ribbon which makes him immune to burns, stuns, and paralysis. But I'm pretty sure it would make all his opponents die laughing. But why?

Toomi: When Cloud was a child, his friend Tifa got in an accident. Cloud took the blame and is incredibly angry at himself. He can utilize this anger for special attacks called Limit Breaks.

Megumi: His Braver is a downward slash and his Blade Beam is a beam of energy from his blade that he can use against his foes.

Sachi: He can use the Cross Slash to slash three times and induce paralysis and his Meteorain can fire six meteors down on his opponents.

Toomi: With the Climhazzard, Cloud slashes into his enemy and then drags them up with an upward slash.

Sachi: He can also use the Finishing Touch to create a tornado that kills all enemies caught in the vicinity.

Megumi:  But easily his favorite is his Omnislash, where he slashes at at an opponent multiple times at high speeds for maximum damage.

Toomi: Cloud possess incredible potential, as seen with his incredible feats. He's strong enough to indent metal with a hard strike, about 1600 tons. He's able to overpower Sephiroth to the point where he breaks machinery, and he can cut up buildings with ease.

Sachi: Cloud is fast enough to block bullets from close and long range and is comparable to Zack Fair, who can keep pace with BAHAMUT Fury, who can move at about 54 times the speed of light.

Megumi: He's also tough. He's tough enough to get up from being stabbed several times, getting hit hard enough to crack concrete, and has withstood being punched by a gauntlet powerful enough to shatter an ice tree.

Toomi: As the compressive strength of ice is about 25 megapascals, this means Cloud can withstand 233 tons of force. Though it should be noted by getting hit into concrete is far more impressive.

Sachi: He's managed to defeat Sephiroth numerous times in battle and was able to kill the BAHAMUT Sin with the help of his friends.

<Shows footages of everyone throwing Cloud up, helping him defeat the Bahamut-Sin>

Megumi: So cool. How I wish I have friends like that. 

Sachi: He's even managed to take on Loz, Kadaj, and Yazoo, all of whom are embodiments of Sephiroth at once and only lost because of a plague called Geostigma.

Megumi:  So Cloud's pretty awesome, but he's not flawless. Cloud can be pretty reckless in battle, not really thinking things through and just trying to muscle it out there.

Toomi: And it doesn't help that many of his abilities stem from his sword. In other words, no Buster Sword, no Materia or Limit Breaks. Also, the use of Materia can weaken Cloud's mind and frequent use of it can tax his stamina.

Sachi: And while Cloud has decent projectile attacks, he mostly prefer close combat, even if it is putting him at a major disadvantage.

Weakness

Very temperamental. Cloud is relatively impulsive and charges into battle without much thought.

Megumi: Still, Cloud has more than earned his right as the successor to Zack Fair. If you battle this guy, better get your head out of the clouds or you're bound to deal with some major Strife

Cloud: You just don't get it at all. There's not a thing I don't cherish. 

Ichigo is spirited into What if Battles

Toomi: Shinigami, it may sound like a foreign word to some, but you all know what it is, the death god, the grim reaper of souls...

Megumi:  And a seventeen year old ginger with a badass sword.

Sachi: Ichigo Kurosaki seems like a normal kid, doing well in school, learning martial arts from his father and even beating up people for disrespecting the dead. But there's only one oddity, he could see ghosts.

Shorty: Can I tell you a secret?

Boy: Sure.

Shorty: I see dead people.

Toomi: One day, when he was nine years old, and walking home with his mother, young Ichigo noticed what he thought was a girl about to fall into a river.

Megumi: So, naturally, he ran over to rescue her, like the brave little kid he wasbut plot twist, it wasn't really a girl at all, it was a Hollow, a monster spawned from an abandoned human soul, and it promptly killed his mother.

Sachi: Ichigo remained ignorant of the truth until years later, when he met a woman named Rukia, who held the illustrious job title of Shinigami, or Soul Reaper, a guardian of the dead who keeps balance in the universe by helping those who have passed move on to the afterlife, otherwise, they turn into violent Hollows.

Megumi: And if you show up late to work, and it doesn't work out, the Soul Reaper can always cut Hollows down with their awesome swords, like samurai Ghostbusters. Anyway, the two of them got into a bind, and Rukia had to share some of her power with Ichigo. Turns out, he was a surprise Soul Reaper all along, convenient.

Toomi: When accessing his Shinigami power, Ichigo leaves his physical body for a new one made up of Reishi, or spiritual matter, which makes him invisible to anyone in the living world, despite still being physically present.

Sachi: Reishi is the primary component of all spiritual matter. It makes up all spiritual bodies and naturally exists in the atmosphere like oxygen.

Toomi: And his new powers make him super deadly, he can move with blinding speed, cut through giant monsters with ease, survive being punched through whole city blocks, and even fly through the air.

Sachi: It's more accurate to say he walks through the air, using naturally occurring Reishi as footholds.

Toomi: Having absorbed almost all of Rukia's power, Ichigo went from a normal teenager to a Substitute Soul Reaper, but even with the title of Substitute, Ichigo was powerful, so powerful in fact, his sword swings could cleave through Hollows with ease.

Megumi: Even other Soul Reapers had to watch their asses, otherwise Ichigo would sweep you aside, Ichigo's main weapon is the Zanpakutō named Zangetsu, these swords both represent the two sides of Ichigo, but metaphorically, and literally!

Toomi: The first is his larger weapon, meant to represent his Hollow and Soul Reaper side of himself, as both of his parents had a connection to Hollows and Soul Reapers respectively.

Megumi: The second and shorter weapon, more like a knife, reflects the Quincy side of Ichigo, and together, these two blades make up Ichigo's main weapon, perfect for when you need to chop up your foes, or if you need to make a wicked sandwich!

Sachi: The Soul Society is where a Soul Reaper refines and trains themsevles to become stronger, one aspect of their training is their Zanpakutōs, like all Zanpakutōs, each of them have two forms of power they can release, the Shikai and the Bankai, and during his time with his Pseudo powers, he could achieve both his Shikai and his Bankai.

Megumi:  Buuuut, Ichigo lost them when he used his ultimate attack, the Final Getsuga Tenshō, WHICH SOUNDS AWESOME! But sadly we haven't seen him do it since the reconstruction of his sword.

Toomi: But for good reason, the infamous Sōsuke Aizen had achieved a level of power greater than any Soul Reaper, and he was nearing the likes of a Hollow, everytime someone almost killed him, he just kept getting back up.

Megumi: Aizen's regeneration made him nearly fucking invincible, he just kept fighting and winning every single damn time!

Sachi: But when Ichigo showed up, he used all of his Soul Reaper's power and energy in one devastating attack that managed to take Aizen out of commission, luckily Aizen didn't kill many people.

Megumi: And thankfully Ichigo regained his powers before too long, and he was back at it, being a fucking badass as usual, becoming a True Soul Reaper, and releasing his True Shiaki.

Sachi: Using one of his most famous techinques, the Getsuga Tenshō, a condensed slash made up of Ichigo's spiritual energy, these slashes are so powerful, they can cut through Mansions, Palaces and Buildings, at their peak, they can knock back and harm the likes of Yhwach.

Megumi:  Is that his real name, i've seen someone cover for him during the war!

Sachi: Yes, Yhwach is currently one of Ichigo's greatest threats, surpassing the likes of Aizen, and it will take something just as powerful as the Final Getsuga Tenshō if Ichigo manages to bring him down.

Megumi: But even though he hasn't had his fated battle with Yhwach yet, Ichigo is still one hell of a badass, we're talking about a guy who crashes into a building as he lands and still surprises his opponents.

Toomi: When fighting the likes of Sternritter P, Ichigo was punched through several buildings, and he got right back up and shrugged it off, and he managed to defeat the most powerful member of the Espada, Ulquiorra Cifer!

Sachi:  He's fast enough to avoid a gun being fired when it's right on his head, and he's strong enough to grab and overwhelm Aizen and Juda, two extremely powerful anatagonists.

Toomi: And he possesses one powerful Quincy ability, Blut Vene this defensive technique can be used to aid Ichigo against critical wounds that have already been inflicted, able to stop the severe loss of blood that would be caused from said wound, only taking a small cut from Yhwach's Almighty weapon!

Feats

In his pre-timeskip pseudo Bankai, he could slash Byakuya's Senbonzakura Kageyoshi swords in a few seconds.

As a hollow he could overpower attacks from Ulquiorra, the strongest of which would have consisted of 440,924 megatons of TNT force.

In his dangai form he could destroy large slabs of rock just by clashing his swords with someone else.

In his Dangai form, he withstood one of Aizen's "Fragor" attacks, which have destructive capability of around 814,000 tons of TNT force.

Ichigo is a perfect synthesis of Soul Reaper, Hollow, and Quincy.

Simultaneously attacked four Sternritter who could all move faster then lightning.

After achieving his True Shikai and True Bankai, was able to descend 2,951,424,000 miles in 9 hours 15 minutes, (He was flying as fast as he possibly could in order to save the lives of his friends, who were fighting Yhwach's Sternritters), putting his maximum speed at 319,073,000 mph/513,498,218 km/hr

Had trained with Squad Zero members in the Royal Realm where gravity is 10 times greater than that of Earth's.

Was able to hold Yhwach back and even send him flying while destroying the Soul Palace roof in the process with a single Getsuga Tenshou.

Megumi: Which comes in pretty handy considering Ichigo's approach to fighting, he's prefers his personal favourite approach to fighting! Rush in sword swinging, ask questions later!

Toomi:  However, Ichigo's strategy of going in head first into fights has landed him on the losing side of numerous battles, he's lost to Renji, Byakuya and Kenpachi Zaraki.

Weakness

Despite having such great Spiritual Energy, he can be depleted over the course of a battle and be left exhausted.

Can be cocky and arrogant at times.

Isn't much on strategy, preferring to rush head first into battle, relying mostly on his incredible physical abilities to win a fight.

Lost against Renji, Byakuya and Kenpachi Zaraki

Has yet to master his True Soul Reaper Powers

Megumi:  He's honestly only still around because he's sheer willpower and desire to protect his friends keeps him going, and he really hasn't masted his True Soul Reapers powers yet, sooooo....

Sachi: But we can't detract that from ichigo, he's one of the icons of anime and manga, and he's got enough fight in him to last him for a long time, so simple attack is going to bring Ichigo down, you better bring your best, or lose in the process

Megumi: You'd be damned right, considering he's one of the fines Soul Society has to offer, Ichigo's no ordinary Soul Reaper!

Ichigo: See ya on the battlefront!

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Sachi: Don't forget to vote, comment what you think of the fight.

Megumi: Yeah, but right now, it's time for a Death Battle!

Final Dungeon

Inside the tall looming towers of the dungeon, Cloud Strife walks along the tower floors, admiring the building's structures from below.

Right as Cloud walks past a room, two malicious pair of red eyes gleams within the shadows, watching his every move.

At the same time, a tall lean built figure cladded in a black kimono with short spiky ginger red hair crouches on the top of the building, observing the man below.

Right at that moment, Cloud heard a loud roar from behind.

???: MRRRAAAWWWW!!!

The soldier turns around, his eyes widens in shock just as a large serpentine creature with a sharp skull-like head lunges out of the cave, closing in onto him.

However, instead of running, Cloud wraps his fingers tightly around the hilt of Buster Sword, pulling it out at the speed surpassing the creature's movements.

SHING!!!

And with one quick cut...

SLASH!!!

Creature: MRAWWWW!!!

Up on the roof of the building, the figure watches in awe, staring as the creature splits into two, dropping down onto the floor.

Plop! Plop!

Cloud stands over the creature's carcass, loudly declaring out.

Cloud: I know you're here, come out!

???: Heh! Not bad.

Cloud turns around, watching just as the figure lands in front of him.

Thud!

The man rises up, explaining to Cloud.

???: That was a Hollow you just killed. I'm impressed.

Cloud: Enough games, who are you?

Ichigo: Call me Ichigo and you my friend just stole my job.

SHING!!!

Ichigo draws Zangetsu from his hilt, lunging straight towards Cloud.

WHOOSH!!!

Announcer: Fight!

<Cue: Balada by Gusttavo Lima and Neymar>

CLANG!!!

Cloud raises Buster Sword up, blocking a strong powerful swing from Zangetsu.

Cloud jumps back, swerving his head back just as he dodges several swings from Ichigo.

Just as Ichigo thrusts Zangetsu forward, Cloud spun around, slamming his elbow straight into Ichigo's face.

WHAM!!!

Ichigo: YAAHHHH!!!!

Just as Ichigo staggers back, Cloud moves forward, thrusting his fist out twice into Ichigo's face.

WHAM!!! WHAM!!!

Cloud then swings Buster Sword across Ichigo, cutting into his flesh.

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

Cloud then raises Buster Sword up, screaming out.

Cloud: Firaga Materia!

Cloud swings his blade upwards, sending a torrent of fire right into Ichigo.

FWOOSH!!!

Ichigo: AAAHHHHHHH!!!!

Just as Ichigo's screams echoes across the dungeon, Cloud chuckles to himself.

Cloud: Heh! Too easy.

Ichigo: Think again.

Cloud: Wait, what?!

Before Cloud could react, Ichigo lunges out of the flame, swinging Zangetsu across the soldier.

SLASH!!!

Cloud: YAAAHHHHH!!!

WHAM!!!

Cloud's face contorts into that of agony as he felt Ichigo's foot struck against his face.

Just as the soldier staggers backwards, Ichigo swings Zangetsu across, cutting into Cloud.

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

Cloud: AAAHHHHHH!!!!

Cloud lets out a loud scream of agony just as the final cut sends him flying, crashing backfirst into a pillar.

CRASH!!!

Ichigo swings Zangetsu across, sending a torrent of energy arcs across the air.

SHING!!! SHING!!! SHING!!!

Cloud looks up, jumping up into the air as he narrowingly dodges the projectiles.

KABOOM!!!

Cloud stares down at Ichigo throwing Buster Sword across the air.

Twip!

Ichigo opens up his kimono, pulling out Quincy just moments away before the Buster Sword reaches it's intended target.

CLANG!!!

Right at that moment, Cloud rolls across the air, grabbing onto Buster Sword before swinging it down onto Ichigo.

CLANG!!!

Just as Ichigo pushes Buster Sword back with both Zangetsu and Quincy, he swipes his hand across his kimono, pulling out his signature Hollow Mask.

Just as Ichigo slips it on, he loudly screams out.

Ichigo: Getsuga Tensho!

SHOOM!!!

A powerful blast of energy emits from Ichigo, sending Cloud flying up higher into the air.

Cloud: WAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

WHOOSH!!!

Ichigo launches himself up into the air, swinging his sword at a rapid speed, forcing Cloud onto the defensive.

CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!!

Just as Ichigo swings Quincy across, Cloud swings his leg outwards, striking Ichigo in the jaw.

WHAM!!!

Cloud: Firaga Materia!

FWOOSH!!!

Cloud swings his Buster Sword downwards, sending a torrent of fire down onto Ichigo.

Ichigo: WAAAHHHHHHHH!!!

Thud!

Ichigo lands footfirst onto the ground, looking up at Cloud.

Ichigo: Heh. Surprised you made it this far, but I'm still gonna beat your ass!

Cloud: We'll see about that!

Cloud lunges downwards at supernatural speed, cutting right into Ichigo.

SLASH!!!

Ichigo: Ngn!

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

Cloud moves across the dungeon floor, cutting into Ichigo repeatly at rapid speed.

Announcer: LIMIT BREAK!!!

Cloud lifts Buster Sword upwards, swinging the blade down onto Ichigo with one hard slash.

SLASH!!!

Ichigo: YAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

Ichigo screams out in agony just as he was sent crashing backfirst into the ground.

CRASH!!!

Cloud: It's over!

BUSSSHHHHH!!!

An overwhelming blue aura completely envelops around Cloud just as the soldier launches himself downwards, closing in onto Ichigo.

WHOOSH!!!

However, Ichigo still has one more trick up his sleeve.

BUSSSHHHHHH!!!

A sudden black aura envelops around Ichigo, transforming him into a tall black masked figure.

Ichigo has transformed into his Final Getsuga Tensho form!

Ichigo: This ends here! Mugetsu!

THOOM!!!

Almost immediately, a powerful black energy wave travels across the dungeon, blasting Cloud backwards.

THOOM!!!

Cloud: ARGHHHHHHH!!!

Just as Cloud is sent flying backwards, Ichigo launches himself up into the air and right at that moment....

SLASH!!!

Cloud: ARGHHHHHH!!!

Cloud screams out in agony just as blood splurts out of his chest, instantly causing two halves of his body to split.

SPLURCH!!!

Ichigo looks down, falling from the sky before landing on the ground with a soft thud.

Thud!

Ichigo rests Quincy back into it's hilt before resting Zangetsu over his shoulder, walking out of the dungeon just as the remains of Cloud falls splat onto the floor.

SPLAT!!!

KO!

<Cue: New Earth by Bruce Falconer>

Megumi: Man, this truly is a huge Strife for Cloud.

Toomi: Cloud may be more experienced and skilled in combat than Ichigo is but the Shinigami's raw power and speed won out in the end.

Sachi: Indeed, Ichigo has already bested the likes of Yhwach and Kenpachi who far outclasses  Cloud in combat abilities.

Toomi: Not only that but Ichigo has also moved at speeds capable of matching those like Aizen, a Hollow that move at speed past Cloud's bullet dodging reflexes.

Megumi: But what about the time Cloud fought Sephiroth? Isn't that guy planetary level?

Sachi: While that is true, Cloud has always required the help of his friends to take him down, meaning if Cloud were to face him without outside help, he would never have won. 

Toomi: And plus, Ichigo's forms also enhanced Ichigo's powers further, even putting him in a league above Cloud's. Not only that but he did faced people like Kenpachi, Rukia and Yhwach who are just as skilled as Sephiroth.

Megumi: With Ichigo's powers, speed and skills, this is what gave him the win over Cloud. Looks like Ichigo has just brought the true Finale of Cloud's Fantasy.

Sachi: The winner is Ichigo Kurosaki

Ichigo: I will...fight on my own. Thank you Zangetsu. I am you and you are me.
