Megumi: And Doctor Doom, king of Latveria and "doom" of the Fantastic Four.

Toomi: These two have ruled countries, battled Gods and are powerful wielders of ancient magic, having gone head to head with some of the strongest heroes in their universes.

Megumi: But they are also capable of a certain amount of good as well. She's Sachi, Toomi and I'm Megumi.

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Black Adam Rocks into What if Battles

<Cue: Face Off by Tech N9ne feat Joey Cool, King Iso and Dwayne Johnson>

Toomi: You've heard of Gotham, Themyscira, Metropolis. Just a few of DC's unique tourist spots.

Megumi: But there's another. South of the Mediterranean Sea and north of the Sinai Peninsula rests the sovereign nation of Kahndaq.

Sachi: While those spots have Superman and Batman solving crimes like it's magic, Kahndaq's got an actual magic man saving them: Black Adam.

Toomi: Long ago, Teth-Adam and his people were enslaved by the conqueror Ibac and his army of barbarians. All he had left was his nephew, Aman. Upon fleeing certain death, the two stumbled onto the Rock of Eternity, a mystic lair that has defended magic since the dawn of time. Here, the two earned an audience with the lair's masters, the excellently named Council of Wizards.

Megumi: Seeing the purity in little Aman's heart, this wannabe Gandalf decked him out with super magic. And bein' the nice guy he is, Aman shared some magic power with his uncle. Spoiler alert: Guuh, not his best idea.

Toomi: They returned to Kahndaq to free their people, but their methods reached an impasse. Aman wanted to use his powers to resolve matters in a peaceful fashion. However, Teth-Adam desired vengeance, emancipation through slaughter.

Megumi: So Uncle Teth sat his nephew down, man-to-man, looked him straight in the eyes, and then killed him! Then, used his borrowed power to steal the rest of the super magic

Sachi: With the full might of the wizards at his fingertips, Black Adam annihilated the barbarians and freed his city. Suffice to say, he's not exactly your typical hero.

Toomi: Which kinds of suits him as he has often times clashes with members of the Justice League like Superman, Shazam, Hawkman and Wonder Woman.

Megumi: I mean the Weather Wizard didn't give Teth Adam some J K Rowling Harry Potter hocus pocus no. He gave him the Living Lightning.

Toomi: While it may function just like real lightning, this Living Lightning is among the most potent spells in comics history.

Megumi: It's magic lightning! You ever see normal lightning kickstart a giant's heart and juice up the Flash? Because Black Adam's lightning did! And activating it is as easy as sayin' the magic word, "Shazam!" Wai-wait, hold up. That's Billy's word. Shouldn't he shout like, "Black Adam!" or "Shazoo!"?

Sachi: To better protect the multiverse's magic, Mamaragan promotes individuals to be his mythic champions. Black Adam is one of the first. So, kind of like Shazam with another name.

Toomi: But when Teth Adam shouts the magic words, lightning pours from the sky, turning from a meager human to champion of the Gods. Simply put, Black Adam is imbued with the powers of God. Well, Gods, plural, as his gifts come from multiple mythological legends

Megumi: At first, he got juiced up from the Greek gods. Zeus, Atlas, Herc, y'know, all those buff guys and gals. But it didn't really work out, though, 'cause he... kinda died.

Sachi: Yet, Kahndaq craved for their hero's return, so Black Adam's most devoted followers collected all of his ashes and prayed their hearts out, this time, to their own pantheon.

Toomi: Calling on the powers of various Egyptian pantheons gives Adam numerous abilities. The Stamina of Shu ensures that he never suffers from fatigue and has an immortal body. The Speed of Horus grants him super-speed, flight, and enhanced reflexes. The Strength of Amun empowers him incredible super-strength. The Wisdom of Zehuti gives Adam insight and knowledge council from the gods themselves. The Power of Aten allows Black Adam control over magical electrokinesis like his modern-day red-suited successor. Lastly, the Courage of Mehen protects Black Adam's mind against any and all types of telepathy or mind-control.

Megumi: So, uh, is Black Adam a good guy or a bad guy?

Toomi: Uh, neither. Only the side that benefits his people matters. He's not concerned with morality, and his brash nature is frequently misunderstood. It's what led to the entire JSA jumping him. Twice.

Megumi: And they still couldn't check him! Adam's just built that different.

Sachi: Black Adam caused sandstorms with a single clap, pushed the Moon, and killed the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Megumi: One time, when space cultists came a-knockin' on Earth, he fought side by side with his best bro, Sinestro. Afterward, when the Yellow Lanterns dipped and took their rings with 'em, Sinestro let Black Adam keep the one he got. Now that's a bromance! And, can I just say, Black Adam makes a mean lightning tiger.

Sachi: He murdered the Council of Wizards and later endangered Mamaragan himself. And the almighty wizard's a part of the Quintessence, basically DC's gods who watch over the multiverse.

Toomi: However, like every other person possessing the power of Shazam, Black Adam has one weakness. If he were to say the word and get struck by the Living Lightning, he will revert back to his human form.

Sachi: And the second part of the weakness is that due to him being well...ancient, if he were to revert back to Teth Adam, age will immediately catch up to him and potentially kill him.

Megumi: Geez, imagine being so old you can just turn into dust.

Megumi: So, invaders beware. No one's truly safe from the true, savage, champion of Shazam.

Black Adam: I am Teth Adam! The Thunder King! Exiled from my home and now returned to rightfully reclaim my kingdom!

Doctor Doom Foot Dives into What if Battles

Toomi: At first glance, Latveria appears to be a humble nation located in the center of Europe. But within its borders may be the greatest threat the world has ever known.

Megumi: That threat being the malevolent king, Doctor Doom!

Sachi: But Doom did not start out as a king. Born as a Romani, Victor von Doom had a... tumultuous childhood. After his mother's soul was taken by the demon Mephisto, and his father died on the run from an evil baron, Doom did what any mad scientist would do, and began making inventions.

Megumi: Like his own robot replicas, and Marvel's favorite retcon device: the Doombots. Hmm, that sounds familiar.

Sachi: The technical wonders he made, while also scamming people, were so great, the Empire State University offered him a scholarship.

Toomi: He attended a college alongside Reed Richards, who'd eventually be his enemy. But life changed not the way he wanted it to.

Sachi: Doom wanted to see his mother again, so he attempted to by creating a device that would transport him to hell. But...it blew up on his face and tragedy struck.

Megumi: You could say his plan went off with a bang!

Toomi: Doom was kicked out of college, and ventured to Tibet where some monks help build him a suit of armor.

Sachi: Made from a mastery of science and mysticism, Doom's titanium armor goes beyond the wonders of ordinary technology and into the absurd.

Megumi: It's the Swiss army knife of power armors, complete with electrical blasts, a device that scrambles brain neurons, and a laser staff that doubles as a techno-virus.

Toomi: At full power, the suit can break through an adamantine coffin, and allegedly, contains pieces of the cross that Jesus Christ himself was crucified on.

Megumi: Just in case a pesky Dracula comes your way, which he did! With this suit, Doom easily conquered Latveria, and overthrew the baron who gave him so much trouble years back. Aha! Take that, asshole!

Megumi: He was also able to lift a building with just his bare hands!

Megumi: The same hammer that flew Thor across the universe in seconds!

Toomi: Knowing Marvel's universe has a diameter of at least one trillion lightyears, Mjolnir must have been moving over two quintillion times the speed of light.

Sachi: But Doom is more than just a scientist. He's also a magician. In fact, a contender for Sorcerer Supreme. As such, he can employ all manner of magic spells: barriers, teleportation, mystical energy blasts, etc

Megumi: And if he ever wants to "Freaky Friday" a foe, he can use a mind swap technique he took from the Ovoids to switch bodies.

Toomi: Doom also has serious ego problems, often boasting about his superiority, which has often led to his defeat many times.

Sachi: Doom also have one insurmountable weakness: squirrels.

Megumi: I knew it! Nobody's a match for those little bastards but me. But hey, as long as he stays on Buck-Tooth's good side, he should be alright.

Toomi: However, despite his overwhelming power, intellect, and intentions, Doom is extremely arrogant to a fault.

Sachi: I can't even count how many times Doom had world domination within his grasp, and then dropped the ball. I mean, one time, he stole the godly Power Cosmic from Silver Surfer, and still lost, because Mr. Fantastic tricked him into flying into a Power Cosmic sucking force field

Toomi: Surprisingly, Doom's time as a god caused an epiphany of sorts. He looked back on his actions, his ego finally shattered, and in his reflection, was left with a desire to fix his ways.

Sachi: So he took up the role of Iron Man of all people, stopped being so world conquer-y, and became a good guy.

Megumi: Just for a little bit. Don't worry, he was back to being a maniacal, would-be conqueror soon enough.

Human Torch: Take a look at that!

Doctor Doom: The Fantastic Four will now perish. By the hand of Doctor Doom!

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Sachi: Don't forget to vote, comment what you think of the fight.

Megumi: Yeah, but right now, it's time for a Death Battle!

During a late afternoon in Kahndaq, all seems to be peaceful.

However, right in the middle of the street, a portal opens and out comes an armored and cloaked figure.

The figure rose, his eyes narrows within his face plate.

Right at that moment, there was a crack of thunder.

CRACK!!! THOOM!!!

Doctor Doom: Huh?

Alarmed by the sound, Doctor Doom looks as a muscular black cladded figure flew from the sky before hovering in front of him, dark clouds shrouds around him along with electricity crackling around him.

<Cue: Inferno by Mrs. GREEN APPLE>

Black Adam: Who are you stranger?

Doctor Doom: I am Doctor Doom and your kingdom would make a fine extension of Latveria.

Black Adam: Your hubris will be your undoing.

Doctor Doom: This dimension is not big enough for the both of us.

Black Adam: All of Kahndaq will rise against you.

Doctor Doom: You will bow to me, or you will die

Black Adam: I will spit on your tomb!

WHOOSH!!!

Both Doctor Doom and Black Adam lunges towards each other, Doctor Doom's hand charging up with magic while Black Adam's charging up with electricity

Announcer: Fight!

THOOM!!!

A powerful shockwave booms across the streets as Doctor Doom swings his hand out, only for Black Adam parry his blow easily before throwing a punch, striking the Doctor square in the face plate.

WHAM!!!

As Doctor Doom is sent flying back, Black Adam flies towards him, screaming out.

Black Adam: There's no place for you here!

Doctor Doom flies back, pointing his hand out as he fires several blasts of magic at Black Adam.

THOOM!!! THOOM!!! THOOM!!!

Black Adam swerves his body up and down, dodging blast after blast just as Doctor Doom delivers a round house kick, striking into Black Adam.

WHAM!!!

As Black Adam is sent flying, Doctor Doom jumps up, grabbing Black Adam before slamming him hard into the ground.

THOOM!!!

Doctor Doom lands back, firing a powerful blast of magic at Black Adam.

THOOM!!!

Black Adam grits his teeth as he swings his arm out, deflecting the magic back at Doctor Doom with one swing.

POW!!!

The magic blast struck Doctor Doom, causing him to scream out in agony.

BANG!!!

Doctor Doom: ARGHHHHHH!!!

Right at that moment, Black Adam thrusts his hand out, firing a blast of lightning right into Doctor Doom.

BZZZZZTTTTT!!!

The impact of the blast sends Doctor Doom sprawling back before Black Adam grabs a huge rock, slamming it down onto him.

CRACK!!!

Black Adam smirks as Doctor Doom pushes himself up, looking at his opponent as he spoke.

Doctor Doom: Unacceptable! You have angered Doom!

Black Adam: Willfulness leads to anarchy. It cannot be allowed to spread.

Doctor Doom lunges forward only for Black Adam to catch him mid punch before slamming his fore head into his opponents.

BAM!!!

Black Adam then flings Doctor Doom towards a pyramid where the latter crashes into it's side.

CRASH!!!

Black Adam flies towards Doctor Doom at super sonic speed, crashing him through the pyramid before flying upwards.

As Doctor Doom is left floating in the air, Black Adam puts his hand out and he yells.

Black Adam: SHAZAM!!!

CRACK!!! THOOM!!!

Black Adam moves out of the way as the Living Lightning crashes down onto Doctor Doom, striking him down while obliterating the pyramid in the process.

KABOOM!!!

The explosion booms across the desert as Black Adam hovers down, grinning as he states.

Black Adam: Learn your place.

As the smoke clears however, all that remains is just a mechanical wreck of what appears to be a Doombot.

Black Adam narrows his eyes as he spoke.

Black Adam: What kind of trickery is this?

At that moment, Doctor Doom, the real Victor Von Doom appears from behind, lunging towards Black Adam whom began hearing the whispers of Zehuti

Zehuti: Destroy him.

Black Adam spun around, throwing a punch just as his fist clashes against Doctor Doom's feet.

BAM!!!!

Doctor Doom jumps back and he compliments Black Adam.

Doctor Doom: A noble effort. Were we not enemies, I would invite you to serve me

Black Adam lunges forward to throw a punch, only for Doctor Doom to parry him before throwing a punch as Black Adam blows.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

As the two began exchanging blows, Black Adam growls.

Black Adam: You expect to best a god?

Doctor Doom: Even gods fall before Doom's might!

Black Adam ducks just as Doctor Doom fires blast of magic before turning around, grabbing onto Doctor Doom as he states.

Black Adam: My lightning pierces armor! SHAZAM!!!

CRACK!!! THOOM!!!

The Living Lightning struck Doctor Doom, causing him to growl in pain.

Doctor Doom: NGNNNNN!!!

WHAM!!!

Black Adam then throws a punch, striking onto Doctor Doom before flying forward, grabbing him and throwing him straight into a building.

CRASH!!!

Doctor Doom pushes himself up, looking at his hands as the magical lightning crackles on his body.

Doctor Doom: This power is incredible. You will reveal to me the source of your power...or you will die!

Black Adam: Amon's strength will crush your pride

Black Adam dons his Yellow Lantern Ring and he thrusts his hand out, creating a yellow tiger construct to attack Doctor Doom.

Doctor Doom charges up magic in his hand before throwing one powerful punch, shattering the construct.

POW!!!

Doctor Doom then disappears, shocking Black Adam before striking him from the back.

WHAM!!!

As Black Adam is sent flying, Doctor Doom then began foot diving onto Black Adam.

Doctor Doom: Foot Dive!

POW!!!

Doctor Doom: Foot Dive!

The repeated foot dives slams Black Adam up and down onto the ground multiple times before the Doctor grabs the champion by the head before slamming him onto the ground.

CRACK!!!

Black Adam opens his eyes, noticing the ounce of magic formulating around Doom's hand as Doctor Doom gloats.

Doctor Doom: Doom's mystic powers are more of a match for your own

Doctor Doom then fires it right into Black Adam face first, creating a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

Black Adam: ARGHHHHHHHH!!!

Black Adam screams out in agony from the blow as Doctor Doom flies across the blazing inferno, firing another blast of magic onto him.

THOOM!!! BOOM!!!

Black Adam: Oofmph!

Doctor Doom then flies past, striking into Black Adam.

WHAM!!!

Black Adam: ARGHHHHHH!!!

As Black Adam recovers, Doctor Doom performs one more foot dive, striking Black Adam by the back of his head.

BAM!!!

Black Adam was sent crashing onto the ground as Doctor Doom stood over him, cackling out.

Doctor Doom: MWA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

Angered, Black Adam turns around, firing a blast of electricity to which Doctor Doom struck back with his blast of electricity as well.

BZZZZZTTTTT!!!

CRACK!!! THOOM!!!

Lightning cracks across the city as Black Adam lunges forward, throwing a punch as he strikes Doctor Doom in the face.

WHAM!!!

Doctor Doom recoils before flying across the air, striking into Black Adam.

WHAM!!!

Doctor Doom then fires another blast of laser right onto Black Adam, sending him crashing across the city.

THOOM!!!

As the smoke clears, Black Adam pushes himself up, weakened and injured by the attack as Doctor Doom stands above him, gloating.

Doctor Doom: You are but one of hundreds who I have crushed beneath my feet.

Despite the fight looking bad for him however, Black Adam growls, refusing to give up.

Black Adam: My knee bends to no one! My magic will reign supreme! SHAZAM!!!

CRACK!!! THOOM!!!

A powerful blast of lightning crashes down onto Doctor Doom, creating a massive explosion.

Black Adam: SHAZAM!!! SHAZAM!!! SHAZAM!!!

CRACK!!! THOOM!!!

After three more strikes of magic lightning, Black Adam pants in exhaustion, having drained of all his power.

However, as the smoke clears, Doctor Doom steps out, having a force field around his body.

Doctor Doom: Your pitiful attempt at combat has only succeeded in annoying me. Begone!

Doctor Doom raises up his foot as Black Adam attempts to attack Doctor Doom once more.

Black Adam: Shazaaaaam...oh shit.

Black Adam stops, realizing he is out of power just as Doctor Doom slams his foot hard into Black Adam's face.

CRACK!!!

Black Adam's skull cracked from the impact as blood pours from his broken nose.

Doctor Doom grabs Black Adam by the neck before flinging the weakened champion straight towards the palace.

CRASH!!!

Doctor Doom

Doctor Doom began creating a sphere out of the energy his armor produces and shoots it upwards.

SHOOM!!!

The Energy sphere flies up before slamming down on the trembling Black Adam, creating a massive explosion.

THOOM!!!

Black Adam: UARGHHHHHHH!!!

Black Adam lets out one final scream as his entire body began disintergrating before going off in a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

With his opponent defeated, Doctor Doom speaks out.

Doctor Doom: Your demonstration of skill was admirable. Pointless... but admirable.

KO!

Megumi: Oh my God, not even the power of six Gods and stop Doom.

Toomi: Which is not surprising. Having went toe to toe with powerful cosmic beings and heavy hitters, Black Adam held a strength advantage along with keeping up with The Flash and Shazam also gave him a massive speed advantage over Doctor Doom.

Megumi: Yeah, along with having the Wisdom of Zehuti to guide him, ambush tactics won't work on Black Adam.

Sachi: With all that incredible power, Black Adam was more than a match for a Doombot, but when Doctor Doom comes in to play, that's where their difference of power begins to show.

Toomi: Doctor Doom also have his fair share of smarts, having outsmarted the likes of Mr. Fantastic and Iron Man, and even been inventing stuff way before his college days. Having way more intelligence than Black Adam.

Megumi: While Black Adam have went toe to toe with people like Superman and Wonder Woman, Doctor Doom himself has went toe to toe with the Hulk and Thor, even defeating them whereas Black Adam has lost to Superman and Wonder Woman.

Sachi: And while Black Adam tore right through the Spectre, Doctor Doom has faced his fair share of cosmic entities like Galactus and Beyonder and even became the God Emperor Doom which is way past Black Adam's paygrade.

Megumi: Though Black Adam's magic may be powerful, it is not very versatile as in most cases, Black Adam just shoots lightning while Doctor Doom has other magic spells ranging from shields to block attacks, electricity to match Black Adam's lightning, teleportation to dodge attacks and hell, even body swapping where he can just pull a Captain Ginyu on Black Adam and just secure a win that easily.

Toomi: Doctor Doom's armor is also much tougher, having tanked Thor's lightning which is more or less similar to the Lightning Shazam produces and even blasts from the Silver Surfer, meaning that Black Adam has no way of penetrating Doom's defenses with his lightning at all.

Sachi: While the same cannot be said about Black Adam who don't really have anything to really defend himself against anything Doctor Doom throws at him. Doom has even stole powers from Odin once so what's stopping him from just stealing Black Adam's power since the power of Shazam has been shown to be capable of sharing with other people.

Toomi: Which means with a much higher advantage in strength, magic, intelligence, versatility and having achieved way more than Black Adam, Doctor Doom possesses every means possible to end this fight in his favour.
