Akame vs Killua

Requested by plazma6

Akame ga Kill vs Hunter x Hunter, it's a clash between two lightning quick assassins with a lethal touch. Will Akame's Murasame slice Killua into half or will Killua snatch Akame's heart before she knows it?

<Cue: Invader Theme>

Toomi: Akame, Night Raid's wielder of the Murasame.

Megumi: And Killua Zoldyck, lightning-quick assassin from the Zoldyck family.

Toomi: These two despite their age have the tendency to be extremely lethal in their jobs as assassins.

Megumi: And these two gets the job done lightning quick! She's Sachi, Toomi and I'm Megumi.

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Akame murasames into What if Battles

<Cue: Pinheel Surfer by SCANDAL>

Toomi: As a child, Akame and her sister Kurome were sold to service of the Empire. It was here that Akame was taught to fend for herself while being trained in assassination.

Megumi:  Akame was used by the Empire to do their dirty work, carrying out their missions and assassinations under strict orders.

Sachi: But the thing is, she wasn't the biggest fan of the Empire in the first place. Getting her hands dirty for the Empire, Akame fought watching her comrades die, suffering, growing resentful towards the Empire. And eventually, once she was sent to assassinate a former general turned rebel, Akame had a change of heart.

Toomi: That was pretty much all the pushing she needed to defect from the Empire, instead joining the Revolutionary Army rather than carrying out her mission.

Megumi:  It was then that Akame became one of the rebel assassins sworn to take down the evil of the Imperial Army. She became one of the members... of Night Raid.

Sachi: Night Raid is a band of assassins bent on fighting for revolution. Their plan is to overthrow the oppressive powerful men and to bring justice to the weak.

Megumi: And Akame is hands-down their most thorough killer. Like the others, she is the wielder of an Imperial Arms, extremely powerful weapons forged by the first emperor long ago. Kinda ironic considering her entire job is to, y'know, overthrow the Empire?

Toomi: Akame's Imperial Arms, the One-Hit Killer Murasame, is a red katana built for swift and deadly strikes. Akame herself is quite the powerful sword-fighter, being extremely fast, quick to react, and sure to be decisive.

Megumi: And if her first blow doesn't lop your limbs off, the curse on the Murasame definitely will. So if Saitama is the One Punch Man, Kenshiro is the One Touch man, you can call Akame the One Cut girl.

Sachi: Murasame is imbued with a poison that instantly kills any organic being the blade can tear into the flesh of. This thing is LITERALLY the weapon of instant death.

Toomi:  And in combination with Akame's excellent physicality and reflexes, the Murasame is certainly an efficient tool for battle.

Akame

Superhuman Strength and Durability

Superhuman Speed, Reflexes, and Agility

Superhuman Stamina

Master Swordswoman

Master Hand-To-Hand Combatant

Limited Resistance to Poison (She developed resistance to moderate amounts of toxins thank to her training as an elite assassin). Same as before with One Hit Kill (But it's curse slowly kills her after she use it's trump card)

Can resist some mind control (Was unaffected by Zanku's Teigu)

Aura Suppression

Murasame

Megumi:  Yup. Though she appears to be your average girl, Akame's freaking strong. Even without her sword, she can easily slay multiple powerful Danger Beasts, thugs, and victims. Even with her legs, she can snap a foe's neck effortlessly.

Toomi: And she's easily able to avoid lightning-based attacks and point-blank gunfire.

Sachi:  Not only are her abilities without the Murasame impressive, but they get even better once she draws it. With it in hand, she can obliterate entire swarms of enemies at once. She can easily deflect multiple arrows, subdue dangerous opponents, and won't rest even then.

Toomi: Akame can easily get back up after a beating, as she's proved several times. But perhaps the most difficult battle was her fight against Imperial General Esdeath. During the final phase of the revolutionary war, after her friend, who was also Esdeath's love interest died trying to save several innocent people from getting killed by a giant flying mech, Esdeath decided to take on the girl in one last decisive battle.

Megumi: Cutting through Esdeath's ice and fighting as she could, Akame tried her best but couldn't defeat the cold-hearted General. Despite getting absolutely thrashed in the beginning, though, Akame held on, ignoring her wounds, then, eventually, she did this.

<Shows footages of Akame cutting herself, entering her cursed mode>

Megumi: Wait...Did she just..

Toomi: Yes. Though it technically would kill her, somehow, cutting herself lead to Akame obtaining a new form.

Sachi: This new form is Akame's trump card with the Murasame. The Little War Horn. By accepting the fact that she had killed thousands of people using the Murasame, which somehow remembered all their souls, Akame was able to activate this strange form with the blade.

Megumi: The curse going through her body, Akame with the Little War Horn is easily far faster and stronger than she usually is. Yup. She can easily leave afterimages able to fool time-stopping tactics and straight-up move faster than the human eye while fighting!

Feats

Killed 5 strong hybrid Danger-Beast without her Murasame

Fought Wave on occasions (who was able to read Syura's moves and beats him in combat without his Grand Chariot, which Budo stated to be a mixture of martial arts from around the world)

Took on a group of thugs, disarmed one, and proceeded to slaughter the rest

Spared Mine

Took down one of Dorothea's troop without her Murasame

Skilled enough to snap a foe's neck with her legs

Akame is one of the only surviving characters in the franchise

She, alongside Kurome were one of only a handful of children to survive the deadly training camp (since as children)

Killed Taeko

Easily bested base Tatsumi casually (in the early AGK series)

Fought off and resist to Zanku's Teigu and kills himBlitzed one of Master's Gensei's men

Killed a Rakasha Demon

Landed the killing blow on Dr. Stylish's Danger Beast form

Fought and nearly overwhelmed Wave and was able to scratch and even damage his Grand Chariot repeatedly

Blitzed all of Kurome's puppets, including Run, Natara and Doya by herself (slightly injured) and went toe-to-toe with her

Stabbed Evil Tyrant's chest and poisoned him

Beat General Esdeath after an epic battle and while saving Tatsumi by "killing" the Tyrant

Survived being attacked by a giant sea danger beast and was recovered after being washed up on shore

In the anime, the only member of Night Raid to survive the events of the show

Toomi: That means the Little War Horn's boost easily puts Akame well over 9000 miles per hour! Not only that, but Akame was able to actually kill Esdeath with this boost! Yes, I kid you not, the ice general was struck down by Akame in this form. Just goes to show how deadly of an assassin she is. However, there is one huge drawback to this form. When using it, Akame is hurt by the Murasame's curse, so technically it isn't much more than a last resort.

Sachi: This leads us to her weaknesses. Akame fits the bill of an efficient assassin, but, despite her usual serious nature, she has an emotional war going on deep down. Her calm behavior is only a facade to this.

Megumi: Don't forget that the Murasame's poison can't affect anything that isn't organic. Robots, mechs and anything else of the sort could turn this kid into a puddle unless she cuts them down first!

Weakness

Despite her serious personality, Akame displays genuine concern for her comrades

Murasame's poison doesn't work on non-living things and can be avoided by amputating the affected part before it spreads

Akame lacks versatility and long range

The Murasame's curse slowly kills her, after she attained the Ennoodzuno form

Toomi: But despite all of that, Akame will never give up until her intended targets are cut down and rid off for good.

Megumi: And trust me, you don't wanna want to get cut by this girl, ever.

Akame: Eliminate.

Killua yoyos into What if Battles

<Cue: Runnin' by Adam Lambert>

Toomi: Killua Zoldyck was born the middle child of a well-known family of assassins. As such, Killua, who already showed great promise started his traditional Zoldyck training.

Megumi: Geez, just born and he's already a badass. Where do I begin on this guy? After just a few years of training, little Killua was already skilled in various types of assassination. At the age of three he started training on tailing others, and at the age of six, he was forced into the Heavens Arena Martial Arts tournament, where he took 2 years getting to the 200th floor before he bailed out.

Sachi: Killua divulges that since birth he has been preparing to be a trained assassin. And his physical prowess easily shows this. He has spent several years trying to be the best he can, and can easily fight multiple other trained assassins.

Megumi: . But Killua didn't exactly enjoy all this brutal training and pressure from his family. And one day, bored and tired of all this training, Killua lashed out unexpectedly, injuring his mother and his second brother, and then ran away from home afterwards.

Toomi: And then went to take the Hunter exam for fun. It was this when he met his new best friend Gon Freecss. With Gon's friendship, Killua finally found the adventures and fun he was looking for.

Sachi: However, during the final phase of the exam, Killua snapped and murdered someone. This led to his disqualification, since killing wasn't allowed and it wasn't even his turn to fight.

Toomi: Crushed by his own psychotic act, Killua returned to the Zoldyck mansion and allowed his older brother to torture him with electrocution, whipping and even burning. It wasn't until later that Killua would return to take the Hunter Exam for the second time. However, when he did, the now developed Killua aced it in a mere hour and a half.

Megumi: Which isn't all that surprising, because Killua is a fast and efficient killer. All the training with his family and as a Hunter has made him an efficient fighter both up-close and from afar.

Toomi: Killua is an efficient martial artist, being easily faster than the human eye and strong enough to chop people's heads off with his bare hands, but that only the bare minimum of his skills.

Megumi: Killua's main weapons are his two fifty-kilogram yo-yos, which he can somehow swing around at blinding speeds, and somehow doesn't even make it look difficult.

Sachi: An average yo-yo may be an ordinary children's toy, but Killua's yo-yos are something else. Swinging them into the skull of a Chimaera Ant will easily crush it, which is impressive, because Chimaera Ants can typically survive being punched into entirely different countries.

Killua

Super Strength

Super Speed

Peak Level Endurance

Resistant to Electricity and Poison

Muscle Control

The Snake Awakens

Shadow Step

Rhythm Echo

Nen

Electricity Manipulation

Thunder Palm

Thunderbolt

Skateboard

Yo-Yo

Taser

Assassin Mode

Godspeed

Toomi: He can transform his fingernails into razor-sharp claws, dislodge his own joints, whip his arms around at blinding speeds to slice through anything that touches them, leave afterimages while running to confuse his enemies, move without making a sound, and even developed an alternate form focused on killing his victims.

Megumi: By detaching all emotion from himself and focusing solely on killing his opponent, Killua's eyes become devoid of all emotion when he enters Assassin Mode, turning him into a murder machine in five seconds flat. But not even this is his strongest form. Because Killua can go Super Saiyan.

<Shows footages of Killua entering his Godspeed Mode>

Toomi: By sending a surge of electricity through his nervous system, Killua becomes faster than ever before. Godspeed Mode makes Killua so much faster he can easily overwhelm people he can't even touch when in base. This form is additionally divided into two different techniques:- Speed of Lightning and Whirlwind.

Sachi: Speed of Lightning is used to amplify his movement and combat speed, whereas Whirlwind is used to amplify reaction speeds. Additionally, since Killua has electricity circulating all his body

Megumi: With so much speed and power, Killua can brag about many impressive feats in his career. He has easily taken down several deadly Chimaera Ants, including members of their Royal Guard. He has also successfully killed the Great Stamp, the world's most dangerous pig.

Toomi: He's strong enough to lift 64-ton gates with his Nen, fast enough to dodge point-blank gunfire and fool the human eye, and tough enough to tank point-blank explosions.

Feats

Pushed open a 64-ton gate.

Lifted boulders several times his size.

Easily tore out someone's heart.

Cleaved through several trees with one strike.

Tore off a Chimera Ant's head.

Casually swings 50 kg yo-yo's faster than the eye can see.

Can send people into the air high enough that a fall can kill them.

A single swipe of his hand can decapitate people.

Can tear someone's head into pieces with his bare hands.

Moves faster than the eye can track.

Can kill someone before they even know they've been attacked.

Knocked out more than a hundred opponents in a few minutes.

Much faster than Gon.

Ripped off someone's head before they even saw Killua move.

Dodges point-blank gunfire.

Without the use of nen, can dodge a punch coming to his left while his left eye was blinded.

Can catch a nen projectile before it pierces his brain.

No-sold a kick to the stomach.

A blow that could knock out Gon could only briefly stun him.

Bullets only pierce less than an inch of his muscle.

Slept through being tortured with a whip.

Didn't react to being burned.

Doesn't feel pain from dislodging his joints.

It takes several thousand volts of electricity to hurt him.

Tanked a point blank explosion.

Can defeat foes physical stronger than him.

Can knock out a person by touching one spot on their neck.

Tore out Johness' heart before he even saw him attack.

At age nine, got to the 199th floor of the Heavens Arena tournament.

Has the potential to be the greatest assassin in the world.

Took hour and an half to defeat 1488 experienced fighters in a room.

Was ambushed by seven chimera ants and effortlessly defeated five of them.

Can somehow see in the dark.

Sachi: He's slept through being tortured by a whip, didn't react to being burned, and is such a badass that not even bullets can pierce more than an inch of his muscles. He even... Drank five cans of laxative-filled juice without flinching?

Megumi: Really?

Toomi: Killua is clearly one of the fastest in the entire Hunter X Hunter universe, but that's one of his greatest flaws. He much prefers to rely on speed over strength, which isn't always a good thing, because an opponent of equal speed could give him a hard time.

Sachi: Additionally, using too many Nen techniques in rapid succession will quickly drain out Killua's aura. If he runs out of it, it is game over for him. He dies.

Weakness

If Killua uses his aura too much in succession, he will start to run low on it. If he uses all of it, Killua dies.

Needs to drain electricity from an outside source to use his electricity manipulation.

Godspeed quickly drains his electricity supply.

Can be cocky and reckless at times.

Toomi: On top of that, Killua can't even use electricity without charging up first. And once he's using Godspeed, he starts tearing through his supply rapidly fast. And when he runs out, it's time to charge up. Again.

Megumi: Despite this, when you find Killua after you, you better watch out. You are being hunted.

Killua: If you so much as touch them, I'll kill you.

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Sachi: Don't forget to vote, comment what you think of the fight.

Megumi: Yeah, but right now, it's time for a Death Battle!

Fight

Forest, night

Utter silence. The moonlit forest had recently been utterly wiped out and barely any life was left in it. Nobody dared to step back in due to this, because the place was a singed and abandoned wasteland. Trees were dead, the ground was damaged, and the place had been wiped out.

But this night, one person was wandering within the premises.

A teenage girl with a black shirt on, wearing a red tie and a short skirt walked by. To match the black and red, both her eyes were blood red and her hair long and black. In her hands she held a red katana that had clearly been to battle before, and walked with calm. She had nothing to be scared of.

As Akame's footsteps echoed across the silent forest, leaving nothing but the crunch of leaves, another person was lurking nearby.

Through the night, in a nearby area of the forest, a boy called Killua Zoldyck was wandering.

Killua's white hair flew in the wind as he continued striding along the forest in silence. He was on the hunt for some dangerous criminal he'd heard of.

From the information he had, she had most recently been spotted lurking around here, taking shelter in a nearby village. He turned his head around twice more and looked down at the contents of the poster.

Killua lowered his poster, however, at the sound of nearby footsteps.

He jumped behind a bush as the exact person he was looking for walked by. Akame, taking calm steps, walked right past the bush in which he was hiding.

Killua smugly grins

Killua: She totally ignored me. Now if I can just get near and strike a vital point..."

Killua was about to move when suddenly, Akame turned around. With lightning-quick reflexes, she unsheathed her long red katana and pointed it at the bush where Killua was hiding.

Akame: I know you're in there. There's no use in hiding.

Killua leapt out of the bushes in an instant, holding his two yo-yos and swinging one down directly at the assassin's head, but she effortlessly deflected it with the Murasame as Killua bounced back and landed on the ground. He got in fighting position wordlessly, as Akame sighed and pointed her blade at him.

Akame: I've got no reason to harm you, but if you won't get out of my way, I'll eliminate you. This fight will be your last.

Killua: Fat chance! I'll be the one walking away alive!

Both Akame and Killua lunges towards each other, the two preparing to fight.

Announcer: Fight!

<Cue: Metal Gear Solid Battle in the Jungle>

Akame swings her sword, only for Killua to parry her attack with his yoyo, shocking her.

Akame: What?

Smirking, Killua swings his leg out, striking Akame square in the cheek.

WHAM!!!

As Akame is sent flying, Killua thrusts his hands out, swinging his yoyos at her in an attempt to pelt her only for Akame to dodge every swing, surprising him.

SLASH!!!

With a swing of her sword, Akame cuts the wires off the yoyos before she swiftly catches the yoyos, throwing them back at Killua to which they successfully hit their target.

WHACK!!! WHACK!!! WHACK!!!

Killua: ARGHHHHHH!!!

Killua screams out in agony as he lands feet first onto the ground.

Concentrating, Killua channels his muscles into his arm, causing them to expand as he jumps into the bush, hiding from Akame.

Just as Akame lands onto the ground, Killua bursts out of the bushes, claws extended from his finger as he cuts into the assassin.

SLASH!!!

Akame: Ngn!

Killua slashes at her repeatly before grabbing onto her, slamming his forehead right into her head before throwing her towards a tree.

CRASH!!!

Akame grits her teeth as she pushes herself up, recovering from the impact of the blow as Killua says.

Killua: You're tough. I give you that, but this time, it's over.

Charging his body up with electricity, Killua's hair began sticking up as he combusts, his eyes devoided of all emotions as he stares at Akame coldly.

Killua has entered his Godspeed mode!

However, right at that moment, Akame wraps her hand around the tip of her blade, clenching onto it tightly as the sword cuts into her flesh.

Akame then whispers out.

Akame: I've killed so many with this sword..

Red markings began emitting around her body as Akame looks up, revealing blood-red eyes with a black background as she concludes her sentence.

Akame: And I accept it. I will finish this once and for all. You will be cut down here.

Having entered her Cursed Mode, Akame and Killua lunges at each other once again, having their transformations to even the odds.

Generating electricity, Killua blitz past Akame just as she swings her sword before firing a blast of lighting onto her.

BZZZTTTT!!!

Akame raises up her sword, barely blocking the projectile as she was sent flying upwards.

WHOOSH!!!

Akame launches herself down before disappearing in a flash, prompting Killua to do the same.

CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!!

In the dark of the forest, a white and black blur speeds across the trees, clashing with no telling of who is gaining the upper hand.

A pair of moths flutters in the mood light before the two speeding blurs moves past them, slicing the two insects into half.

SLASH!!!

White electricity surged along the ground as Killua ran, whereas Akame left blurred afterimages, blood drips onto the floor with their speed rendering it difficult to determine who's blood is dropping.

As time felt like it slowed down, Killua appeared to be trying to punch Akame from underneath while Akame was trying to slice downwards, however, things sped up and turned back to a blitz as one lost more blood.

SLASH!!!

Both Akame and Killua lands far from each other, with Killua's bloodstained claws outstretched and Akame's Murasame extended out.

Blood drips from both blade and fingers as the two stood, neither making a move.

Right at that moment...

SPLURCH!!!

Killua: ARGHHHHHH!!!

Killua lets out an agonizing scream as blood pours from a deep cut across his chest, the Murasame's curse markings crawls up his skin as the curse began taking it's effect.

Akame: Eliminate.

Akame stood up, swinging her blade outwards, splashing the blood clean off Murasame as she sheathes her sword, listening as Killua drops onto the ground, dead.

With her opponent defeated, Akame closes her eyes as the curse slowly dissipates from her body.

KO!

<Cue: Love, Again by CHIHIRO>

Megumi: Damn, now Killua, Hunter X Hunter sure is having it tough this year.

Toomi: In one of the closest battles yet, Akame just barely edges out when faced with Killua. Both do have impressive speed feats. They can both dodge bullets and move at over 9000 miles per hour and fool the human eye, and hey, speed is indeed Killua's game.

Sachi: However, believe it or not, even when he was using Godspeed, Akame's speed let her keep up with him.

Megumi: I mean while Killua can generate lightning, Akame is faster than lightning, literally.

Toomi: Just to note, even in real life, the speed of lightning can vary. And though Killua can generate lightning, there isn't any evidence in the context of Hunter X Hunter to prove that he is indeed moving at the speed of lightning. And even if that were the case, there were many occasions he got speedblitzed by faster opponents. Like Palm who after becoming a Chimera Ant hybrid, began attacking Killua to the point he even admitted that she is much faster than him.

Sachi: And Akame being able to react against Esdeath's Imperial Arm, and note that as shown in Esdeath's two fights, her imperial arm allows her to freeze time completely in place and Akame not only reacted against it, but she left afterimages to fool Esdeath long enough to deliver a fatal cut. Which is already beyond what Killua has even accomplished

Megumi: And there is the poison thing. Now as mentioned, Killua is immune to all sorts of poisons to wouldn't the Murasame be ineffective against him?

Toomi: While it is true that he has shown immunity to many kinds of poisons, including that of mosquitos, laxatives, and more, Akame's poison is... Well, different. It is a curse, and unlike most poisons, likely more difficult to resist.

Sachi: While Killua has ways to kill Akame such as taking out her heart, her durability and her overwhelming speed would not only make this way harder for Killua, but there is also a chance she could also slice his head clean off on the correct moment.

Toomi: With greater speed, durability, skills and a deadly curse on Murasame to match, Akame has everything she needs to take down Killua once and for all.

Megumi: Looks like Akame totally Kill-ed-lua.

Sachi: The winner is Akame

Akame: As the living, it is our responsibility to carry out the wishes of the ones who are gone

Toomi: Hey guys, thank you so much for checking out our battle in What if Battles 2.

Sachi: If you want more content like this, don't forget to add this in your library and comment if you have any idea for a fight.

Megumi: Until then, next time on What if Battles...
