Toomi: 2B, the badass battle android assigned by YorHa to take the Earth back from the machines,

Megumi: And Alita, The Battle Angel of Iron City,

Toomi: The future for the better or worst will no doubt be full of robots that be good or bad

Megumi: And these two cybernetic chicks are some of the best robot killers in the world. She's Sachi, Toomi and I'm Megumi

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

2B is deployed into What if Battles

<Cue: Emo Girl by Machine Gun Kelly feat WILLOW>

Toomi: Thousands of years into the future Aliens arrived at Earth and sent the humans packing to the moon.

Megumi Aliens?! I knew they would come one day! We have to build a bunker Toomi! How are we going to do What if Battles if Aliens take over?!

Toomi: Well considering the fact the author is not gonna write a third sequel and the fact Earth got taken over thousands of years later, I don't think we would be a problem

Megumi: We can make sexy robot androids to fight the other robots that the aliens spread throughout the surface to conquer the Earth.

Sachi: And that's exactly what humans in the future did. An organization started by the humans named YorHa deployed androids all over the world to retake the Earth.

Toomi: One of those androids being 2B. She's an expert hand to hand fighter and also knows her way around a blade.

Sachi: She can also equip a bunch of chips into her robotic system to boost her stats.

Toomi: Her visor may seem odd at first, but it does serve a purpose. It offers a great deal of info to the wearer, it offers details regarding the enemies health, and strength, along with the environment. It also offers details on the wearers status.

Megumi: She has this really annoying pod that follows her around everywhere she goes. But it can do some cool things, like blow shit up! Nevermind. I think I like this pod.

Toomi: It mainly can shoot little pellets, can fire a laser, spawn a giant hammer, spin around like a blade, spawn a bunch of spears out of the ground, make shields around 2B, and among other things, can even slow down time!

Megumi: She also wields a bunch of badass weapons, small swords, bigass swords, spears, and gauntlets.

Sachi: For this battle she'll wield Virtuous contract, and virtuous treaty. Her small and large swords. Along with another set with Cruel Lament, her gauntlets, and virtuous dignity. A spear.

Sachi: She was also unharmed by smashing her flight unit through a metal wall, cut So-shi into pieces, kicked a robot across a room and embedded it into a wall, and even cut off Eve's big hulk arms made out of junk.

Megumi: She's also fast enough to easily dodge bullet fire, and easily blitz machines.

Toomi: She can match fellow YoRHa Unit A2 in strength, with her flight unit, she destroyed an airship. She can gamage A2, who was unscather after an explosion that destroyed a mountain

Megumi: Damn, so 2B is overpowered as she is hot. She's basically if Violet Evergarden and Mikasa Ackerman fused into an android

Toomi: Her durability is great, she can take hits from buzzsaws, able to take hits from all manners of machines, including other YoRHa units, and can even survive her own self destruction! Buuut, she is far from perfect...

Megumi: Yeah, that sucks... her pod programs have to cool down, she's vulnerable to EMP charges, because she's a machine and all that...

Weakness

Pod programs have to cool down after being used.

To a certain degree, vulnerable to EMP charges.

She was ultimately done in by a virus.

Self-destruction depletes most of her health and destroys her clothes.

Toomi: And while she can tank her self destruction, it depletes most of her health and burns most of clothes off

Sachi: Speaking of which, the same logical virus was ultimately the downfall of 2B. As she slowly went insane, the android A2 put her out of her misery.

Megumi: But before all that, she proved she was amongst the best androids of YoRHa.

2B: Everything that lives is designed to end. We are perpetually trapped in a never-ending spiral of life and death. Is this a curse? Or some kind of punishment? I often think about the god who blessed us with this cryptic puzzle...and wonder if we'll ever get the chance to kill him."

Alita Will Not Stand By in What if Battles

<Cue: Swan Song by Dua Lipa>

Toomi: In the deepest darkest piles of garbage in the center of Iron City, Kansas, lay a strange mystery.

Megumi: How the heck is them yuppies makin' that Zalem city float?!

Sachi: No, but just to answer your question: Zalem, the home of the wealthy, is suspended by the gravitational force of the moon.

Megumi: What kind of magic does this?

Toomi: Anime science, I suppose. On with the story, a cyborg doctor named Ido was looking for some parts but came across a mysterious item: The head and torso of a cyborg girl.

Megumi: So he took 'er home, patched her up and called her Alita.

Toomi: Keep in mind, whatever damaged her made her lose her memories so she didn't know who she was or where she came. Ido raised her like his long deceased daughter, who was also named, Alita.

Sachi: But before she was the Battle Angel Alita, Yoko Dornburg was a cyborg from Mars created with the intent of overthrowing the Cyndonia territory's queen, Kagura Dornburg

Megumi: She definitely would have to learn how to fight in order to fight in an uprising. Such is her martial art technique Panzer Kunst, a martian fighting style design to fight in zero gravity

Toomi: She's also capable of sensing the presence of others with ultrasonic imaging, sonar and echolocation. Electromagnetism to create shields and further enhance her already impressive strength and her ability to regenerate from damage sustained in battle

Megumi: Wow, I never knew you can fly with swords. Wait let me try.

Sachi: No Megumi don...

Megumi: Ack! Never mind.

Toomi: Anyway, Alita also has nano machines that she can deploy around her to attack enemies, duplication to create clones to overpower her enemies and even emit plasma to use to create attacks and propel herself upwards.

Sachi: And these plasma can reach up to temperatures of over 100,000 Celcius

Megumi: Alita even has an impressive win count, defeating Zapan who tanks a massive explosion, defeated Toji who karate chops a 120 story skyscraper in half and strikes the ground with enough force to create a massive crater and tanked blows from Warmen-609 who blows through the walls of the ZOTT, which are durable enough to withstand nukes

Toomi: And Tunpo even used Alita's Jupiter Dynamo along with 80% of the sun's mass to create a black hole which in order to do so, requires something equivalent of a Big Bang to do so. In an early speculation, Stephen Hawking conjectured that a black hole would not form with a mass below about 10−8 kg (roughly the Planck mass). To make a black hole, one must concentrate mass or energy sufficiently that the escape velocity from the region in which it is concentrated exceeds the speed of light.

Megumi: Holy hell, I wonder how would they incorporate that in the next Alita movie?

Toomi: That is assuming they would even make it. But despite her incredible power, Alita isn't without flaws. When she was injured with her beserker body, it took some time for the wound to heal.

Megumi: And much like other fictional characters, anger is one element that can be a cruel thing to Alita, causing her to lose control and go into a blind rage.

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Post Apocalyptic Earth

<Cue: Who's Ready For Tomorrow by Rat Boy and IBDY>

In a distant future, everything is in ruins as hordes of machines storms across the ruins of what was once New York City

At that moment...

SLASH!!!

Some slices right through a large robot, instantly destroying it completely.

2B scans her surroundings as 9S tells her.

9S: Better be careful 2B, I detect the presence of an unidentified machine life form.

2B: Understood 9S.

At the same time, something punches through the head of a robot, destroying it.

Alita then creates a Damascus Blade before swinging it across, cutting down two robots in the process.

SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

Just as the robots were destroyed, Alita turns around, seeing a much larger machine lifeform looming over her when right at that moment, it went off in a massive explosion

KABOOM!!!

Alita stood back, scanning just as 2B steps out of the fire, staring right at her.

2B: You! You must be this machine lifeform 9S told me about.

Alita stares at her and she spoke.

Alita: You are right. I am half machine but I come to this place to hunt down a target so please, do not get in my way.

2B: No! Under direct orders, I have been tasked with your termination

Alita: Why serve when you can be free? Come with me and we can save the world together.

2B: I'm sorry but orders are orders. And I shall destroy you for The Glory of Mankind!

Alita draws her Damascus Blade, noticing a small pod floating next to 2B hovering close to the Android before aiming a red laser at her.

Alita gasps out just as it suddenly dawns on her what the pod is about to do.

Announcer: Fight!

BANG!!! BANG!!! BANG!!!

The pod began opening fire, forcing Alita to run across the street to dodge the hail of bullets flying towards her.

Alita jumps up, somersaulting in the air as she swings her sword down, only for 2B to draw Virtuous Contract before clashing blades with her.

CLANG!!!

2B thrusts Alita off her before leaping upwards, delivering a hard kick into her stomach.

WHAM!!!

Alita was sent tumbling back but she instantly recovers, grabbing a nearby robot before throwing it at 2B who instantly cuts the robot down with one cut

SLASH!!!

However, at that moment, 2B found herself surrounded by nano machines that began enveloping her.

2B: ARGHHHHHHH!!!

Using this as an opportunity, Alita jumps in and she throws a punch, striking into 2B

WHAM!!!

2B was sent flying before crashing into a building.

CRASH!!!

As 2B shakes her head, Alita jumps in, swinging her leg around as she delivers a Javelin Kick, forcing 2B to raise her sword up to shield herself.

BAM!!!

2B was sent flying as Alita charges forward, charging up plasma energy around her fist as she throws another punch, striking into 2B.

BAM!!!

2B: WAAAHHHHH!!!

2B screams out as she was sent crashing out of the building.

CRASH!!!

<Cue: Action by Kaoru Wada>

Just as 2B crashes out into the streets, Alita lands in front of her, questioning.

Alita: Had enough?

2B: This isn't over!

2B then draws another one of her swords, looking just as Alita dashes forward.

Alita charges up plasma as she prepares to throw a punch only for 2B to swing her swords at unnatural speed, slicing her arm off.

Alita stares in shock as her left arm drops onto the floor as 2B sprints forward, drawing out a spear before throwing it into Alita.

SHOK!!!

Alita: Ngn!

Alita grunts out as she felt the spear impale her body.

2B then commands her pod.

2B: Shoot her now!

Pod 042: As you command.

BANG!!! BANG!!! BANG!!!

Bullets rains down into Alita, forcing the Battle Angel to break the spear and roll out of the way.

Alita lands across 2B, her regeneration allowing her wound to heal as her severed arm grows back.

Alita: That hurts

2B: And it will hurt a lot worst if you don't submit!

Alita: Never!

Alita draws out another Damascus Blade, clashing against 2B's swords.

CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!!

Both cybernetic women clashes against each other, moving in a speeding blur as their blades cuts into each other's body and clothes.

Alita bounces back, lunging forward only for 2B to don her combat braver, striking the cyborg in the face.

WHAM!!!

2B then switches to her blades as she sprints forward, attempting to finish off Alita when right at that moment, several duplicates of Alita appears, surrounding the android.

2B: What?!

The duplicates closes in, forcing 2B to jump back.

SLASH!!!

2B cuts down one Alita clone before impaling her sword into another.

SHOK!!!

She then throws the clone at an oncoming clone before blocking a strike from another.

CLANG!!!

2B thrusts her leg out, kicking the clone back before jumping up, her pod immediately opening fire down onto the duplicates.

BANG!!! BANG!!! BANG!!!

The bullets instantly destroys the duplicates one by one, destroying all in a matter of seconds.

Right after killing the last duplicate, 2B then turns around, blocking a kick from Alita before pushing her back.

As Alita lands feet first onto the ground, right at that moment, she senses something approaching, causing her to freeze.

Alita: What?

<Cue: Somewhere by Within Temptations feat Anneke Van Giersbergen>

Right at that moment, a massive robot Engel bursts out of the undergrowth, towering over both Alita and 2B.

THOOM!!!

Shocked, Alita questions out.

Alita: What in the world is that?!

2B: An Engel. I thought me and 9S destroyed them all but it turns out there are more.

Alita: No way am I getting crushed by that thing. We better destroy it

2B: Agreed.

Both Alita and 2B jumps up, dodging a blast of laser from the Engel

THOOM!!!

2B's pod began shooting continuous rounds of bullets at the machine while Alita charges up her plasma, striking the machine with her enhanced punches.

POW!!!

The Engel stumbles from the blows as Alita jumps into her flight unit, taking off into the sky as she fires at the Engel.

BANG!!! BANG!!! BANG!!!

2B then flies the unit right at the Engel just as Alita began charging up her Electromagnetism into her fist.

2B and Alita: HUARGHHHH!!!

Both android and cyborg screams in unison as the two slams into the Engel, destroying it.

KABOOM!!!

Explosions booms across the giant robot as it begins toppling sideways.

Alita lands on the side of the robot when she heard a loud cranking sound.

<Cue: Amaranth by Nightwish>

She turns, noticing 2B flying her damaged flight unit while her pod controls the giant arm of the Engel.

2B: You're going down!

2B swings the arm down, forcing Alita to jump back just as the machine arm slams into the Engel.

BAM!!!

Alita jumps up, putting her hand on the arm as she activates Hertza Haeon, causing it to instantly shatter.

CRASH!!!

2B: What?!

As 2B stares in shock, right at that moment, Alita fires a powerful blast of plasma using Plasma Soliton, striking right into 2B and her flight unit.

THOOM!!!

2B: ARGHHHHHHH!!!

2B screams out in agony as her flight unit went off in a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

Alita bends over, panting as she watches what looks like 2B falling from the sky, crashing onto the floor.

Thud!

Weakened, 2B pushes herself up, her clothes and body damaged from the attack.

Realising that her opponent is too powerful for her to defeat through her own means, 2B sighs.

2B: Looks like I have no choice.

Alita: Huh?

At that moment, 2B activates her self destruct sequence before jumping up, closing in onto Alita before her entire body goes off in a massive explosion

KABOOM!!!

The explosion booms across the city, incinerating buildings and blasting vehicles back.

The explosion also sends Alita flying back, her parts exploding as her body splits apart.

As the explosion dies down, 2B kneels on the floor, her body severely damaged by her self destruct sequence.

2B: It's...over...mission...accomplished.

<Cue: Feel Alive by Anneke Van Giersbergen>

However, right at that moment, 2B detected something, causing her to gasp.

2B: Huh?

Alita's body, though damaged, began repairing and regrowing itself, shocking 2B

2B: No! Impossible!

Alita pushes herself up, panting as 2B struggles to rise, screaming out.

2B: By the glory of mankind, I shall win!

2B lunges forward only for Alita to draw her Damascus Blade, using firing a small blast of plasma with her Plasma Bite.

PIU!!!

The blast grazes 2B, giving Alita enough time to jump up, dodging a swing from 2B.

Just as 2B turns around, Alita jumps up before swinging her blade down onto the android.

SLASH!!!

2B stood motionless, her blind fold slides off, revealing her eyes before her entire front from face to torso began splitting apart.

Alita crouches, not looking back as 2B splits apart into two halves before collapsing onto the floor.

With 2B destroyed, Alita stands up before walking away just as 9S reaches the area, rushing towards the now destroyed YorHa unit.

KO!

<Cue: Island Song by Ashley Erikkson>

Megumi: Sigh, a death of another waifu. When will this madness end

Toomi: 2B held a massive advantage in skills and arsenal, having better range and versatility over Alita's own weapons but weapons are not enough to win.

Sachi: While both 2B and Alita are well known for destroying robots bigger and stronger than they are, their techniques is a whole another level.

Megumi: While 2B is no slouch with her strength, Alita uses her own fists and legs to fight, showcasing strength powerful enough to hurt robots that can tank nuclear explosions whereas similar kinds of explosions like 2B and 9S's self destruction with the Black Box destroyed a massive number of Engels.

Toomi: It's also worth noting that Alita's has not only a much higher level of durability but her regeneration also makes it difficult for 2B to simply kill her with blades since Alita has shown to survive having her body chopped up and even decapitated while 2B though she can heal with healing items, is more finite compared to Alita's unlimited regeneration

Sachi: And Alita also has Hertza Haeon where she can use the vibration molecules to destroy anything without touching which although she has been shown damaging machines as big as the Engel, theoretically, she can even destroy 2B's swords with her hands if she wants to

Megumi: And even more worst is that while Alita does not have as many swords as 2B, she can create as many Dasmascus blades as she wants to, so should she lose her sword, she can always make another one though 2B carries lots of swords in her arsenal

Toomi: When push comes to shove, 2B will eventually have to self destruct herself, so it boils down to this, can it destroy Alita? The answer is yes. Assuming Alita's regeneration doesn't save her.

Sachi: And while 2B's self destruct destroyed a moon sized space station, Alita's power source through Tunpo ends up creating a Black Hole, something that can destroy entire Solar Systems

Toomi: Though it is dubious whether Alita can even perform such a feat by herself, considering how Tunpo requires her power to do it means that through scaling, Alita possesses a much higher destructive capability than her.

Megumi: Holy hell, YorHa should actually recruit Alita to help her instead of trying to destroy her

Toomi: Holding a much better strength, durability, power and much higher level destructive capability, we can conclude that while 2B's speed, programming and arsenal makes this a difficult fight, Alita's regeneration, skills and higher destructive capabilities helps her take the victory in the end

Megumi: 2B or not 2B. That is the question. And for Alita, friendship with her opponent was never meant 2B

Sachi: The winner is Alita

Alita: I do not stand by in the presence of evil!
