So all the frogs were dancing 💃 🕺 and things were ok.

"Sorry I rushed you into confessing your love to Ivy. You do that when you're good and ready." Said Anne.

"Thanks Anne. When the moment strikes I'll know it." Said Sprig.

"Ok everyone we will now be playing slow music!" Said the musicians. They played on a guitar and started playing romantic music.

"Is this the right time? 😏" Asked Anne.

"Uhhh"

"Go to her Sprig! Drop that Truth Bomb 💣 " Said Anne.

"Uhhhh Maybe Tomorrow."

"Nope. This is the perfect time."

"I thought you weren't gonna rush me!" Said Sprig.

"I'm not! But Romantic Music, Dancing and With Ivy being a couple of feet from you. Dude! It's perfect!" Said Anne in her defense.

"......... You know what? You're right! I'm gonna confess!"

"Go Sprig!" Said Anne. Sprig started walking over to Ivy. She was holding a Purple Firefly under the beautiful light. To Sprig she was very pretty. Ivy noticed Sprig and let the Firefly go.

"Hey Sprig!" Greeted Ivy Happily.

"He... Hey Ivy. I have .. something to ask you." Said Sprig.

"Ok."

"Look You're one of my closest friends and I'll always have your back But There's something I need to tell you." Said Sprig.

"Ok?" Said Ivy. Sprig looked at Anne and she gave him 2 thumbs up 👍👍 and a smile 😁Sprig smiled back and looked back to Ivy.

"I like you Ivy Sundew ..... A lot. You complete me and You've always been there for me. I like you so much. 🥰🥰🥰" Said Sprig.

"Sprig ...... Wow. I didn't know you felt this way about me. Sprig I'm sorry but I don't like you that way." Said Ivy. Sprigs heart sunk and he felt like it shattered.

"Don't get me wrong. What you said was beautiful and I do like you it's just I don't like you in a way that means we're dating. I'm so Sorry. Are we still friends?" Asked Ivy. Sprig said nothing.

"Of course we'll still be friends."

"I do like you Sprig ...... just as a friend. Are you ok?" Asked Ivy.

"Oh I'm Ok. Never been better." Said Sprig. That was a lie and he walked Backwards away from her.

"Sprig How'd it go?? Does she like you back?" Asked Anne with excitement in her voice. Sprig looked at Anne and ran away.

"Sprig?!" Yelled Anne. She ran after him into the forest and searched for him everywhere. He finally found in the same place where Ivy and him went to see fireflies. She walked Next to him and sat down. She saw two little puddles of water 💧 next to him.

"Hey Sprig. Everything ok?" Asked Anne. Sprig said nothing.

"Oh yeah totally." Said Sprig. Anne knew right away he was lying.

"Really? Why are your eyes wet?" Asked Anne.

"I was sweating out of eyes!" Answered Sprig in a flash. Anne looked at him grossed out.

"It's a frog thing." Said Sprig.

"Sprig it's better to tell me then to keep it to yourself." Said Anne gently.

"Ok fine! I'll tell you! Ivy doesn't like me back! I acted like an idiot in front of her! 🥺😭🥺😭" Said Sprig as he started to cry.

"Look Sprig I know how you feel." Said Anne.

"No you don't! You never had a crush on anyone." Said Sprig. Anne looked at him and started laughing.

"😂😂 You think I never had a crush on someone?? Sprig everyone has to have a crush on someone eventually. I had a crush on 2 boys! 👦👦" Said Anne.

"Really?" Asked Sprig.

"Yes really."

"Does this mean you have a boyfriend or something?"

"No I don't have a boyfriend."

"What happened to your crushes?" Asked Sprig.

"Well my first crush was a boy named James. He was really funny, Nice and sweet. Then I told Sasha about him and next day they're an Item." Said Anne.

"No offense but she doesn't sound like a good friend." Said Sprig.

"Lots of people said that to me but hey it's not like I'll fight her using swords on top of a crumbling tower 👧🏽 ⚔️👧🏼 ." Said Anne Playfully. Sprig laughed a little.

"My second crush was Arnold. He was dark and loved mysteries and Horror movies." Said Anne.

"Why-

"I really don't know why I had a crush on him myself. 😋 Anyway I told Marcy about him and the next day they're an item. 😕" Said Anne.

"How did you get over it?" Asked Sprig.

"Well I imagined them like they were stars ✨ 🌟⭐️"

"Huh?"

"Let me Explain" Said Anne. She laid down and Sprig laid down next to her.

"I imagine Crushes like Stars ⭐️. There's always going to be one star 🌟 you really like but depending on how you act it's only a matter of time before it fades away. But even when the star you really liked is gone there's plenty more ✨ stars in the sky 🌌. It's like with you and Ivy. You really liked her but she didn't like you back but there are plenty more frogs out there and one day you're gonna find a frog who gets you, who will be your best friend, who will always have your back."

"So basically you." Said Sprig.

"Pretty much." Said Anne.

"Hey Anne can you stand up?" Asked Sprig.

"Ok?" She stood up and Sprig did the same thing. He then hopped on Anne and hugged her. Anne was surprised but she hugged back. The fireflies flew behind Sprig and Anne and formed a heart ❤️. When Sprig and Anne stopped Hugging the fireflies flew away.

"Thanks for making me feel better Anne. You're a great friend." Said Sprig.

"Anytime Sprig, Anytime 😄💘" Said Anne.

"So should we go back to the dance or stay here?" Asked Sprig.

"You can go back to the dance if you want. I'm gonna stay here and look at the stars." Said Anne.
She laid down. Sprig at first was going to leave but then decided to stay. He laid down close to Anne and held her hand 🤝. They looked at the stars. After a while Sprig looked at Anne. The stars bright shine were sparkling in her eyes. To Sprig she looked beautiful.

"Hey Anne." Anne moved her head and was looking face to face at Sprig.

"Sorry."

"For what?"

"I was holding your hand." Said Sprig as he started to let go.

"And that's bad how?" Said Anne as she held his hand again. 🤝 He blushed at the fact that she still wanted to hold his hand. They both looked at the sky 🌌 and saw some stars shaped like a heart.

"Hey look. Right above us there's a star shaped like a heart." Said Anne.

"Yeah it looks like *Yawn* Like we could fit *Yawn* In it." Said Sprig. He fell asleep and snuggled next to Anne.

"Yeah *Yawn* It kinda does." Said Anne. She fell asleep and smiled in her sleep. They were both having the same dream. They were dreaming about one another. Then the fireflies came back. They landed on the ground and shaped a heart around the Human 👧🏽 and Frog 🐸.
