I sat on a stool in the kitchen, finishing up some summer homework that I decided to put to the very last minute. Probably wasn't a very smart idea, now that I think about it.

I'm Lexi Potter, age thirteen. My parents are Lily and James Potter, my younger brother is Harry, and my other younger brother is Shane.

I currently go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to study magic. I'm in the Gryffindor house. There is also Hufflepuff, Slytherin and Ravenclaw.

Just kidding, I'm not in Gryffindor. I remember what the Sorting Hat said to me two years ago....

"Hmm.... Brave. Courageous... Sly... Witty, smart.... Wise.... Honest.... Cunning.... Quiet... Ambitious... You are a hard one..."

"Thank you?"

"Better be..... SLYTHERIN!"

To say that my parents were shocked when I came home that year for Christmas would be a lie. My dad sort of expected me to be in that house, and he and mom didn't care.

Sirius Black, Harry's godfather, was extremely shocked. My dad had to remind him that his mother was in Slytherin.

Sure enough, when Grandma Potter came over with Grandpa Potter for Christmas, Grandma was the first to remind Sirius that she was in Slytherin, and she told me that she needed someone else in the family to be in the same house as her.

I think that I'm her favorite grandchild. Then again, she does seem to like babies....

Uncle Sirius and Aunty Marlene recently had a baby, and it's gotten quite annoying. They also have a son named Brad, who I am currently dating. He is about two years older than me.

Then there's Aunt Brianna, my dads sister, and her husband, Uncle Jacob. They have a two year old, and a son who is three years older than I am.

Anyway, I was sitting, doing my homework when my mother came into the kitchen.

"Lexi? What did you do to your hair?"

My natural hair color is red, but I dyed it a nice purple-blue last night.

"I dyed it."

"Why? You have beautiful hair!" Mom asked me.

I shrugged, "I wanted something different... I'm changing, mom. I'm becoming a woman."

She sat down next to me right as I finished the last of my summer homework.

"I know. Your father isn't liking it."

"Yeah," I told her, "his little girl is growing up."

She nodded. "You'll be having a boyfriend next, won't you?"

"Well I already do."

"What?" Mom asked, shocked beyond belief.

"Yeah. He's coming over today with his family."

I glanced at the clock. They're due right about... Now.

Sure enough, Brad and his family came through the door.

Brad came up to me a wrapped his arm around my waist. He placed a kiss on my head and he asked me, "How are you babe?"

I gave him a smile, "Good."

"Oh my God, your father is going to freak out," mom told me.

"What am I going to freak out about?" Dad said after greeting Sirius.

"This," mom said, pointing to Brad and I.

Currently, I sat on his lap. He kissed my cheek and I gave him a peck on the lips.

"Sirius? Your son is dating my daughter?"

"What? No he's not. I just saw him with a girl that was certainly not Lexi yesterday when I went to get groceries. They were kissing and everything."

"Brad?" I asked him. "Is this true?"
