Alive

We don't have needs, only wants.

We don't have to live, we want to.

That's why I want to learn to smile more,

Because I don't just want to live.

I want to be alive.

I don't want to grow old and weary with endless regrets.

I still have time, it's not too late to start a rhythm.

I want to learn to balance life,

To ride this bike as long as I can.

To be happy is my desire,

Not to be bitter, full of hate.

That's what it means to be alive,

And that's what I want to be.
