[A/N] A Riddle

Hello there, my beloved readers!

I am very sorry I haven't been able to update/write lately. I hope I will be able to resume my stories soon (I have great things planned for this one ;).

In the meantime, here's a little Riddle for you!

It's the Bonus Riddle from the quiz I posted in the "Amazing AudioBook Book" and will remain open until someone solves it :)
Please post the answer in the comments to this chapter.

Of course, if you get it right, there will be a prize!
You can win:

- An Audiobook for at least 4 chapters of any book you like
(If it's not written by you, you will need the author's permission)

- Entry into the Catalog

- Detailed Feedback/ Comments on 4 chapters

- Shoutout with detailed description of the book

- A short feature in this chapter where you may advertise one of your stories.

Of course, if you do not have stories of your own, or ask for someone else's book to be read, we'll find an alternative prize for you :)

Now, before we proceed to the Riddle, I'd just like to mention, that I am immensely proud to now be able to count people from Pakistan, India, Taiwan and Belgium among my readers!
*Waves* Hello you!
I'm happy you're here! :D

...And now: THE RIDDLE

About: What I Am - Chapter 5 [The Undead] Today, I am Veronika
Find the answer!

"Why Tungsten?"

Solve the riddle and the chapter will reveal the same reason twice.
Please give both explanations.
This Chapter is all about silence, so answer without spelling out a single word.

"Of those, who are among the Numbers of The Undead, the ones who have left behind all pretenses - the ones who have long stopped hiding behind pretty words, but show themselves for what they truly are, are the ones you can count on to succeed in their role as "Hunters".

They are tungsten, they are what remains when you strip a living organism of all softness, reduce it to it's hardest core.

Thus, by their very nature, they are always alone.

They may be close to others of their kind, with whom they might feel a shadow of kinship, a faint memory of what it was, to be part of a whole, but make no mistake.

Even when together, they can no longer form a bond, for what once enabled them to connect to others, to find that sweet unity that is so much more than the sum of its parts, is buried in the same grave that holds their past.

And yet...

While each may be different, they are yet the same.

They are connected.

Connected by their nature, all, from the one at the very top to the scores in their ranks, unified by their purpose.

Together they are tungsten, robust and hard, a material suited to be forged into highly efficient weapons.

The Woman of the many Silences too, will harden, will grow, will cut away the softness, and when she joins the ranks of The Undead, she too will be Tungsten.

She will take the name of Tyst, and when she does, the Tyst who is Tungsten will be twice what she was when we left her."

Hint:                Look at the words I underlined.

Hint No. 2:    What is the scientific way to write Tungsten?

Good Luck and HAVE FUN!
