Chapter 43: The Unforgiving.

(Eva's POV)

"Sebastian, that can't be. Madame red could not have had anything to do with our kidnappings." Ciel stated.

"My lord, you ordered me to research the members, and I read over the information quite thoroughly." Sebastian replied.

"How could she have anything to do with his though? I did not know she was capable of such things." I questioned.

Ciel sat back in his chair and folded his hands.

"Why did she do it Sebastian?" Asked Ciel.

"I believe after your parents died, she seeked her own revenge of not being able to carry a child, and she would get it by any means necessary."

I sat quietly and pondered at Sebastian's statement.

"But why me?" I asked, quite puzzled.

"The same goes for you as the master, I would imagine. If she could not conceive a child, she would get rid of the ones in her life, knowing the two of you could eventually have children of your own."

I furrowed my brows in frustration.

"How could our own aunt do this to us? We both cared for her deeply, what did we ever do to deserve this?" I asked in an enraged tone.

A tear threatened to escape my eye.

"Eva, we have to let go of the past. She had her reasons for this, unmentionable reasons." Ciel stated.

I stood up and slammed my hands on his desk.

"No Ciel! I will not accept this, I will not let go of the past! You for one should know that!"

I turned around and ran out of the room, the tears started to flow with every step I took.

Why do I keep finding all of these terrible things, why me? What ever did I do to deserve something as cruel as this life?
Things are beginning the dwindle down again and I can't stand to be the person I am.

As I ran through the halls, a familiar pair of arms scooped me up.

"Sebastian, let me go!" I shouted.

Sebastian held me tight as I struggled to escape his firm grasp.

"Shhhh, it is alright love. We shall figure this out, but for now, you need to rest." He whispered in my ears.

I stopped struggling and gave in. I allowed myself to slip into a daze, unaware of what was occurring around me.

I slowly closed my eyes and shut out the world...

"Ciel! Hang on a bit longer!" I screamed as I watched the boy dangle from the ledge.

"I-i'm not sure how much l-longer I can!" Ciel shouted back, fear lacing his voice.

I began to run to him, but something caught me, more like someone.

"L-let me go!" I screamed at the mysterious figure.

The figures hands cupped around my eyes, blocking off my vision.

I began to scream and kick, without any positive result.

The figure pulled me out into the moonlight, revealing a tall tanned man. I looked up and saw a pair of golden eyes illunating themselves in the night air.

The man wore a dark blue track suit with golden stripes lining the sides. He had several golden piercings dotting his face. On his head he wore a dark blue toboggan with a strange golden logo.

"W-who are y-you?" I asked.

The man began to chuckle.

"Wouldn't you like to know bitch!" He shouted back.

I tried to pry his hand off of my eyes and when I did I saw a terrifying sight.

"E-Eva! H-help!" Ciel slowly unlatched his fingers from the ledge and began to fall.

Just as he fell, a dark figure raced past me and jumped to his rescue.

"S-Sebastian!" Ciel called out.

The man placed his hand back onto my face and pulled me tighter. I squirmed and tried to free myself from his grasp.

"Would you fucking cut it out!" The man screamed, clearly enraged.

He clamped a firm hand around my mouth. I slowly opened my mouth and bit down, drawing blood.

The man let go and now was my chance to run.

I kicked a leg out in front of me and began to run in a fast pace.

"The stupid bitch bit me! What the fuck!" The man cried out.

I had finally reached the edge, when I stopped to look down.

Down below me, I saw a bloody, lifeless Ciel in the arms of Claude.

Panic began to race through my body. Without thinking, I leaped off the edge and fell to the icy water.

When I fell in, the water chilled me to the bone. It slowly began to take my breath away, but I could not let this stop me.
I swam to the shards of rock that Claude stood on. I hoisted myself up and ran to Claude, ready to fight.

When I reached Claude, I felt a singe of pain run through my abdomen.

I looked down to see a small line of blood trickle down my sternum.

I fell to my knees and held my bloodied body. I have never felt this kind of pain before. This was the kind of pain that sent chills throughout your body.

"Why do you care so much for that brat?" I familiar voice said behind me.

I slowly turned my head to be met with no other than Hannah Annafellows.

I stared into her lavender eyes, only to be met with hatred.

I placed a hand over my mouth and coughed, a familiar taste filled my mouth.

I looked down at my hand and saw my pale skin covered in a metallic crimson.

I slowly fell to the ground. The world around me became dark and my body became venerable to any attack that could happen.

I slowly began so shut my eyes....

"Ahhh!" I screamed as I woke up.

Sebastian stood up from the chair in the corner of our room and ran to me.

"Love, what's wrong?" He asked in a panicked tone.

I sat up and rubbed my temples.

"I-I had another dream." I said quietly.

I slowly slid my fingers down to my eyes and felt tears.

Sebastian scooped me into his arms and held me.

"Shhhh, it is alright love. It was only a dream. You are safe." He whispered lovingly into my ears.

I buried my face in his chest and quietly sobbed like a child.

He rubbed circles around my back in a slow calming motion.

Why do these dreams keep haunting me? Why can I never save Ciel?

Was that one of those dreams that is trying to warn me of something?

I melted into Sebastian's touch and let my thoughts consume me.
