Chapter 41: The Funny Business.
(Eva's POV)
"Sebastian!" I yelled as I stared into the mirror.
Sebastian ran into the bathroom, ready to attack in his cute little boxer shorts.
"What is it lo-" he stared at me.
"Sebastian why is my hair black!" I asked frantically.
He walked closer and examined my hair. He picked up a few strands and ran it through his fingers.
"Love, I think y-you're changing into your true vampiric form." He said with a hint of surprise.
I stares into the mirror and gazed at my black hair, that was now the exact color of Sebastian's.
"I rather like it love, it suits you quite nicely." He said lovingly.
He took a long look at the rest of my body and placed a finger under his chin in thought.
"The rest of your body seems to be changing as well. You are maturing, and by the looks of it, it isn't such a bad thing." He said with a grin.
I rolled my eyes playfully and ran my fingers through my newly changed hair. Maybe this isn't such a bad thing, I'm just not used to seeing my hair so dark.
An evil plan suddenly popped in my head. I turned to Sebastian with an evil grin.
"I have an idea Sebastian."
A wide grin grew across his face as well. "I'm listening."
"Ciel will not recognize me with dark hair, let's play a little harmless prank on him." I said manically.
Sebastian nodded in agreement. "I like it. You will need a different set of clothes though, and maybe some glasses."
I nodded as well and headed over to the wardrobe. I pulled out a plain black dress with red lining the bust and the hem.
I held it up for Sebastian's approval. Once he nodded, I slipped on the dress over my lacy undergarments, that Sebastian enjoyed quite a lot.
I looked in the mirror and remembered why I liked this dress so much. It accented my curves and hugged my hips to perfection, and now that my body was changing, it looked even better.
I opened the top drawer of the dresser and pulled out a pair of black reading glasses. I put them on and looked into the mirror. I looked unrecognizable.
I turned to Sebastian and nodded my head. He placed a finger under his chin and spun his other finger around, motioning for me to turn.
I turned around in a few circles and stopped.
"I like it, I can hardly recognize you."
I giggled a little at my reflection. I looked like an old widowed schoolgirl, that shouldn't be funny, but in some terrible way it is.
Sebastian began to dress himself in his usual butler uniform. Once again, I couldn't help but stare as he got dressed.
I do not know what is wrong with me lately, but all I want to do is just tackle Sebastian. My hormones have started to race at an alarming rate here lately, but Sebastian does not seem to mind at all.
"Love, are you listening to me?" Sebastian waved his hand in front of my face.
I shook my head and looked up at his face.
"Y-yes. Yes I was." I said sarcastically.
He placed a hand on his hip in a sassy way. "Oh really love? Then what did I just say?"
I thought for a moment and placed a finger on my chin. "S-something about, ummm,
d-dominos?"
Sebastian chuckled and grabbed my hands.
"Are you alright love? You have been a little, distracted lately."
I giggled and kissed his nose.
"I'm not sure Sebastian. Ever since I have started to change, I just can't keep my hands to myself. My hormones are ridiculously high at the moment."
He chuckled again and stroked back my dark hair.
"Well if it is any consolation, I do not have a problem with it love. I rather like all of this attention."
I felt my heart beat slowly beginning to pick up again. I shook my head and let go of Sebastian's hands. No Eva, have some self control.
"Is everything alright love?" Sebastian asked with a frown.
I shook my head and gave him a soft smile.
"Yes dear, everything is fine. Let's go see Ciel." I said trying to compose myself.
He chuckled once more and slipped into his tail coat.
"Alright love, let's go."
I nodded to Sebastian and followed him out of the room and Into the quiet hallway.
When we reached Ciels study, Sebastian knocked on the door.
"Come in." Said Ciel, in his usual monotoned voice.
Sebastian nodded to me and motioned for me to stand outside and wait.
Sebastian walked in and bowed.
"Young master, a Miss Serena Trover is here to see you. She is a representative from Scotland yard."
I giggled quietly at his play of words.
"Alright, send her in I suppose." Ciel said in an agitated tone.
Sebastian nodded for me to enter. I slowly stepped in and curtsied. Ciel looked up from his papers and nodded.
"You may sit."
I nodded and sat down in front of him.
"So, what is it you need to discuss, lady Serena?" Ciel said, while crossing his legs.
I cleared my voice and thought of a lie to tell, once I thought of one I changed my voice.
"Mr. Abberline, of Scotland yard, has sent me over to investigate your butler. It would appear as if he has doubt's of his, mortality."
I glanced towards Sebastian and gave him a quick wink. Ciel sat back in his chair and folded his hands together.
"And why is Mr. Abberline having doubts? What is there to doubt?"
I refrained from giggling like a little school girl and crossed my legs.
"He has his suspicions of Sebastian being, no ordinary human." I said quite dramatically.
Ciel stood up from his chair and faced the window, he pulled back the curtain and looked out.
"I think it would be best if you take your leave, Miss Trover." He said in a ghastly tone.
I stood up from my chair and nodded.
"Thank you for your time, Lord Phantomhive."
As I was walking out, he stopped me.
"Oh, one more thing."
I turned to him. "What is it my lord?"
"I like what you've done to your hair, Eva."
Shit.
(Once again, my apologies for such a short chapter that isn't relevant to anything. I have got something good planned out for you guys.)
