Chapter 3: The Reality.
(Your POV)
The walk back to the Phantomhive manor only took a few minutes, considering we were both very fast. In fact, we had a little race. I surprisingly won. We walked upon the stairs leading towards the door.
"I'm impressed miss Glover, I have never met anyone quite like you before. Someone faster than me, might I add." Sebastian looked over at me. I looked back at him, the moon illuminated his charming featured gracefully. I blushed a little and he seemed to notice as he smirked. "Thank you Sebastian, it was an honor to race against someone like you." I replied quietly.
He gestured me to the door and he opened it. "Thank you Sebastian." I looked over and blushed once more. "My pleasure, my lady. Now, shall we go speak to the young master?" He took out his watch and opened it, viewing the time. "He shouldn't have retired for the evening just yet."
I nodded and he began to walk. I stood there for a moment just noticing the elegant decorations in the manor. They were very beautiful. "Are you coming, my lady?" Sebastian said, snapping me out of my daze.
"Oh, yes. Sorry Sebastian. It's just so lovely here." I stated. Sebastian leaned over and bowed. "Thank you, miss Glover. Here at the Phantomhive manor, we try our best to offer the best luxuries we can." I nodded and he proceeded up the stairs.
We went down a few hallways and came across a large wooden door. Sebastian knocked on it. "Come in." I'm assuming that's lord Phantomhive. Sebastian nodded and opened the door, allowing me to come in. I walked in and noticed a young boy sitting at a large desk, his elbows sitting on the surface and his hands clasped together with his chin leaning on them.
"Ahh yes, miss Glover. Please, sit down." Ciel said with a monotone voice. I walked over and sat down, crossing my legs like the lady I was. Ciel cleared his throat. "So Eva, it has come to my attention that you are no human." I nodded my head.
"Yes your highness, I'm not so sure what I would classify my self as though." He sat quiet for a moment. "Well, that's why you're here. Now, correct me if I'm wrong but your father Spencer was a demon, and your mother Edith, a vampire?" He looked over at me.
"Yes my lord, that is correct." I laid my hands together on my knees. "Well Sebastian and I believe you are some sort of vampuric demon, or demonic vampire, which ever you prefer. Meaning you can survive on either blood or souls. You can also make contracts with humans, or demons or vampires. When the contract is up, you can be paid with either their soul or their blood. Does this make and sense to you miss Glover?"
I looked at him with a very curious grin. "Yes sir, it does indeed. Is there anymore information?" Ciel looked up at Sebastian and back at me.
"Eva, you can't die."
'Am I hearing this correctly?' I looked at both of them. "Wait, I can't die. Ever?"
Ciel looked at me with an emotionless face. "No, under no circumstances can you die. Not by the demon sword. Not by a demon, vampire, or reaper. It would seem as if you have no soul, and you have an impenetrable layer of protective skin underneath your outer layer of course. Well, there is one way you can die."
I stared in disbelief. "And what way is that?" Ciel looked at me with a sympathetic smile. "If you kill yourself."
