Sunlight cascaded over the bed as she stood by the window unable to think straight. She wanted to do this, she wanted to go to Hogwarts but she also wanted to be with her friends and family. Even if her family was rarely around she didn't want to abandon them as they did her. As hard as that might be, she had hope in them even when they had no hope for her. She was different, she was just overall powerful and they didn't know how to handle her abilities. She wasn't a muggle born, she wasn't a pure blood she was considered a half blood. Where her father was born into a family with a wizard parent but not a witch parent and as for her mother was that of a pure blood family filled with witches and wizards alike.

Her mother always taught her the opposite of what her parents had taught her. Where her mother was a disgrace just as her twin brother had been. Where her mother's little brother was the golden child at least kind of. She wasn't taught to love your soulmate whether they want you or not and no matter what they are. Witch, wizard, or something else entirely even if they weren't such at all. Her mother always wanted her children to understand the proper and right values in life and not be forced into the wrong ones. Like thinking the pure blood families are above others and that they were superior to anyone who wasn't of that status. Her mother was a woman who was gentle, kind and a bit softer than her own mother.

Y/n's mother tried to do her best and tried to be anything else but her own mother. Which is what got y/n into trouble sometimes, y/n was reckless and ambitious. She wasn't strong willed and intelligent but she also enjoyed a good trick here and there which often got her into trouble. Y/n enjoyed pranks and her mother knew deep down she had some of the traits of her mother's family within her. Y/n's mother was a Ravenclaw when she went to Hogwarts where as her twin was a Gryffindor and her little brother a Slytherin. Y/n's mother knew deep down if y/n went to Hogwarts she'd probably be a Slytherin as well just as her ancestors were. Her father was part of the marauders little group, Remus lupin was a half blood and he was y/n's father. Her mother was Andrea Black the twin sister to Sirius black and older sister to regulus black.

Not that it mattered to y/n who her parents were or where they came from. She knew the history of her family, how her uncle was in the Azkaban prison, how her god parents were dead and their son never got the chance to live with them and grow with them. How her cousin was the Draco Malfoy who was a git at times in her eyes, but she knew and understood why at times. Overall y/n was lucky with what she had, she had a nice life, nice family and parents that cared enough even if they hardly stayed around. So when they decided to move her to Hogwarts while her father decided to teach defense against the dark arts. One of her favorite classes along side potions which she was amazing at by the way. She was forced to join her father and attend Hogwarts during the start of her third year. She didn't want to but she was convinced by her mother that it was the best decision and she'd have lots of fun adventures too.

So y/n somewhat happily agreed to join her father and attend Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. But not much to her mother's surprise she was soon sorted into a familiar house at Hogwarts. One that was part of her ancestral line and one that partly scared her mother to death but she was proud of y/n either way.
