"Eda?"
Eda leant away from raine and turned to see a pissed looking Camila.
"Heyyy, Cam...heh.." Eda mumbled nervously.
Camila had become a tad bit protective of eda after she found out about many things from edas past. Things she didn't like to bring up. Especially after Camila had seen her scars.
"Who's this?" Camila demanded.
"Oh, uhm...Camila, this is Raine,...Raine this is my roommate and best friend, Camila." Eda mumbled.
"Nice to meet you" raine said awkwardly.
All Camila did was glare at where their hands touched edas skin.
"How do you two know each other?" Camila asked coldy.
"Cam, we just met" Eda mumbled.
"And yet you have pet names for each other? You let this raine guy touch you!?-"
"Cam..." Eda mumbled.
"You let him touch you as if you two are a newly found couple!-"
"Cam!"
"Last time you let someone touch you like that, they had nearly beaten you to death!-" Camila growled.
"CAMILA" Eda shouted
Camila froze and looked at eda.
"I know! First of all raine isn't a guy! They're non binary! Second of all, I know I nearly died! Its happened way more than once!" Eda snapped. "I know"
Eda looked away and closed her eyes, trying to keep the memories at bay. Raine suddenly pulled her close and rubbed her shoulders. Eda leant into their touch and looked up at them.
"Eda..." Camila mumbled, still glaring at where Raine's hands were. "What are you doing out of class."
Eda shrugged, she doubted it was to show raine around the school.
"I'm not showing you around am I?" Eda smirked playfully at raine.
"No, no you're not" raine sang, gently massaging edas shoulders.
"Then, what are you doing?" Camila asked, crossing her arms.
"That's for me to know, and for Hermosa here to find out" raine said, a sort of mischievous glint in their eyes.
"Hermosa?" Eda asked. "What does that mean?"
Camila was about to answer when raine interrupted in a soft murmur.
"Never you mind calamity" they said.
Raine leant in from behind and their lips brushed against her skin as they whispered. "Besides, you'll find out later what I meant."
Their breath was warm, their lips soft. She didn't understand why she wanted to kiss them so badly, why she craved their touch. She wanted their love and affection. Raine lightly kissed behind her ear, soft and gentle. It sent shivers down her spine. Raine's hands slid down her waist and hugged her from behind- which made Camila growl and clench her fists. But eda couldn't of cared less, she felt as if she was on cloud 9.
"We'll talk later!" Camila snapped before storming off down the hall. Eda stood there shocked at how Camila reacted. It took a minute or two, but soon eda snapped out of the trance she was in and looked at raine.
"Yes?" They asked innocently.
"I'm gonna die tonight because of you!" Eda scoffed.
"You're welcome!" Raine said playfully.
Eda laughed. "Dork"
Raine chuckled and looked down at her, a sort of longing in their eyes. That's when she noticed exactly where they were looking- her lips... Eda slightly pushed them away and leant against a random locker, slowly she took her hair out. A light blush washed over Raine's face as she did this.
"You look good with your hair like that, Calamity" raine murmured, leaning over her.
Eda blushed and looked away, a small smile on her face.
"Thanks..." She mumbled, putting her hands behind her back. She tried to act cool, but really she was really having a major bi panik attack. It didn't help the raine was looking at her in a way that no one has ever looked at her before. She kept feeling something warm and fuzzy when she looked at raine.
"You're welcome princess" raine said softly, leaning closer ever so slightly.
Wait...they were leaning in! At this point, edas bi panik was through the roof. Raine stopped leaning in when their face was inches away from hers. They were so fucking close it wasn't funny. Eda could feel their breath against her face. It honestly seemed like raine was teasing her. She couldn't help but love it. Raine looked at her eyes, then her lips, then quickly back to her eyes. Eda now kinda wished she had the ability to read minds, that way she would know what raine was thinking. Was it something bad? Were they just using her like the rest of them? She didn't know, nor did she want know if her thoughts were right. Raine wouldn't do that! A part of her brain said, but the rest argued with the fact that they had just met her. Raine then quickly leant forward more and whispered in her ear. "I saw how you got your mandolin" they then pecked her lips and winked, leaning back. They lightly gripped edas waist, their thumbs caressing her hips. A smirk was plastered to their face.
"You...you saw...me- you saw how I got my mandolin?" Eda stuttered nervously.
Raine nodded.
"Magic"
