Days later and luckily i hid my tiny crush. I just wished and prayed that it wouldn't get any bigger and would soon disappear. I can't like her! I can't! My mum doesn't approve, my dad doesn't approve, my family don't approve, my school doesn't approve, my friends probably don't approve, basically the whole society doesn't approve. I am doomed if someone finds out! I lie back down in my bed from pacing. There is a pile of homework on my desk but i am too restless. To busy thinking, worrying! If only i could tell someone! Maybe i will ask if Lottie is against it! It's worth a shot! I pick up my phone and dial Lottie's number
"Hello?" A voice asks
"Hi is Lottie there?" I ask
"Who are you?" The voice asks again. It's not Lottie's voice but it sounds like it
"I am her friend...Briar!" I say
"Ok" the voice says "LOTTIE GET YOUR BUT DOWN HERE! YOUR FRIEND IS ON DA PHONE!" The voice yells. She has the same accent as Lottie though which is leading me to guess that she is a family member
"I'M COMIN JEEZ!" I hear a voice yell from the background
"She's comin" the voice says cheerfully. After a while of no one talking the mystery voice says
"Hang on i gotta do somethin. Get a pen and paper ready if she can't use this phone. If you call and no one picks up after 2 calls call 0418 634 789 ok?"
"Ok" i say. What is she going to do? She starts giggling as i am guessing she is walking and suddenly i can't hear her well when she says "Dude i will!" I suddenly hear a voice yelling "DON'T YOU THINK ABOUT IT TREASURE! I WILL DROP YOUR PHONE DOWN THE BALCONY TOO!" I hear a voice yell. Lottie. Was the mystery person going to drop Lottie's phone down the balcony?
"I don't give a s**t bout ma phone!" The girl known as Treasure says
"Please treasure please" i hear Lottie say. It sounds like she is...crying?
"Hey hey! I wasn't gon' do it!" Treasure says. I hear a thud and a voice saying "shh" to the crying Lottie. Lottie crying? Soon someone comes and says "she is all yours sugar" and then a little voice says "hello?"
"Oh uh...Lottie...it's uh me...Briar......i this a bad time?" I say awkwardly
"Uh...yeah" she sighs "just...can you forget...about me crying and me sister nearly chucking my phone thing?" She asks giggling a bit
"Yes" i giggle back "see you tomorrow!"
"Bye Bri" she says and hangs up. Now i have to wait till tomorrow.
