Trauma
Ok... this chapter is... unique. At least in it's origin.
I flipped a coin: heads was personal (like the Batcave and Wally's house) and tails was public (like the Mountain or Watch Tower)
It was heads.
So I needed to choose the Manor/Batcave or the West/Allen household. Uh... my friend from Marching Band came to visit me and she wanted to choose.
But she has never watched YJ. Or Teen Titans. She's a Marvel girl.
So I had her watch a few episodes and she fell in love with Wally. So... yeah there ya go😅
(I might have also turned her to DC. Or at the very least made her neutral.)
((If you want to cry, listen to the song))

Wally couldn't stop the wave of guilt that passed through him.
Here was his best friend, strapped to a medical bed and lost in a medical induced coma.
He was in a coma, to make sure he didn't hurt himself.
If he would've just kept his big mouth shut... just maybe this wouldn't have happened. Maybe he would've stayed...
God, he felt like a complete asshole.
"When did this happen?"
One of the girls, Raven he believes, was finishing wrapping Robin's wrists with gauze.
On the other side of her was a metal tray with bloody rags and tools.
"About seven minutes ago."
Wally's eyes widened in disbelief.
"He bled that much?"
"He knew exactly where to cut..."
Another voice enters from behind him.
Cyborg.
"Nicked both of the arteries. Really deep... he honestly shouldn't even be alive right now."
Cyborg walked around the bed and picked up the bloody equipment and took them to the sink.
Wally akwardly rubbed the back of his head. He was called here and yet...
"So... where are the other--"
"Beast Boy is trying to calm Starfire."
Raven's response was more... curt than usual. She carefully laid his bandaged wrist at his side and got up to check the monitors.
The doors to the infirmary slowly slid open and an exhausted looking kid came through.
He was green, with a red and white uniform. It didn't take a genius to figure out it was Beast Boy.
But something seemed familiar about him...
The kid rubs his eyes, they're red and then he starts mumbling. His voice is hoarse.
Cyborg comes back over and taps the kid on the head, he seems to wake up a little more.
"Dude, you gotta talk a little louder..."
"Oh um Star's fine. She cried herself to sleep after she blasted a hole in her wall. Uh Cy can I... go to my room too?"
This kid looks... traumatized.
Cyborg nods and the kid quickly leaves.
"Beast Boy was the one who found him."
Raven turned away from the monitors and picked up a needle.
Wally raised an eyebrow. That was a big needle...
"What's that for?"
Raven fills the needle with some kind of clear liquid.
"A weaker sedative. His stats indicate he's going to wake up in the next few hours. This will help keep him calm."
She injects the sedative into his arm and gently touches his forehead.
"No fever..."
So... it was akwardly quite for a moment...
"So... why did you guys call me here?"
Cyborg wrote something down on a tablet and sighed. He looked... like he just heard the world was ending.
"At first it was just to have you help us calm him down, you've obviously known him longer than us but now..."
Cyborg hands the tablet to Raven. She hisses and lets out multiple swear words.
"He might have head trauma."
Uh what?
"How... is that even possible? He never hit his head right? So how--"
"The blood..."
She was quite, no more than a murmur. But it sent chills down the spines of both boys.
"He lost a lot of blood and because of that the brain wasn't receiving enough to function properly. He might have lost some memory... but I don't think--"
"How much memory?!"
Wally looked like he was gonna fall over, especially when Raven sent him a glare.
"I was going to say that I don't think that's what happened. It was just a possibility. Look at his brain waves."
She motions to one of the monitors.
"Since we've hooked him up his brain waves have shown insane amounts of stress... and then they would return to normal. They have fluctuated seventeen times in the now thirteen minutes he's been here."
Wally finally calmed down enough for the genius inside him to come out.
(Seriously, people always forget that Wally is literally a genius)
"So... he's having nightmares?"
Raven nods.
"But more specifically, he is reliving the worst moments of his life. Continuously."
That's... gotta suck.
His parents' deaths, feeling useless, being replaced, and whatever hell he went through with the Titans.
...when he wakes up he's going to need to be in a calming place. Somewhere that elicits happy memories...
Immediately, he thought of hanging out with Robin at his aunt and uncle's house.
Playing videogames, pizza, sleepovers... pizza.
And just talking and laughing.
"Um... you know he's going to need a happy place to wake up in. You know... like happy memories."
Raven and Cyborg were giving him suspicious looks.
"I mean... I-I'm not trying to... ya know I mean..."
"Shut up!"
Both boys jumped and looked at Raven, she was massaging her forehead. She looked overly annoyed.
"Beast Boy is bad enough..."
Cyborg slowly steps away from her and turns back to Wally.
"We know you're not trying to take him. If you were, Raven would know. But I know what you're trying to say. And I'm guessing you have a place in mind?"
"Uh... my uncle's house? You know... the Flash's house?"
Now Cyborg looked a little annoyed. But for a whole different reason.
"Man... if the Flash finds him you know he's gonna say something!"
"I'll keep him hidden!"
The way Wally said it sounded like they were talking about a drug deal or something...
Raven turned back around to Robin.
She started undoing the cords.
"What are you doing?!"
Apparently Raven was on board with Wally's idea. Cyborg... not so much.
"If Kid Flash thinks he can do it then let him. Remember, he's known Robin longer than any of us. But you better not screw up!!"
Wally swallowed nervously and quickly nodded.
"Would anyone be there right now?"
Wally checked his watch.
"No, they would both be at work."
Well... work for Aunt Iris. Watch Tower for Uncle Barry.
"Then you better take him now. Wait... why wouldn't you take him to your house?"
"I'm staying with my aunt and uncle. My parents are out of town."
That wasn't a lie.
"Fine. Better hurry."
Wally choked down a laugh and gently picked up his friend bridal style.
He has definitely lost weight...
"Be careful. Don't do anything stupid."
Wally nodded and sped off, trying not jostle him too much.
"You're going to be okay buddy..."
He couldn't believe this...
He sped into the house, faster than he's gone in a long time, trying not to gather unwanted attention.
He carefully set Robin down on the guest bed, currently his, and slowly walked downstairs to make sure Barry and Iris were still gone.
And they were.
He walked back into the room to see Robin waking up. His mask was off.
"Hey buddy. You weren't supposed to wake up for a few more--"
Dick turned his head to Wally, eyes dead.
"Why am I still alive?"
