Moving On

"What do you mean he's gone?!"

The original League members were all in the Watch Tower conference room.

They were all basically interrogating Batman.

"How could you not know where he is?!"

Batman sighed and shoved a crumpled peice of paper into Wonder Woman's face.

She scowled and ripped the note from the dark vigilante's hands.

The other League members gathered around behind her as she started to read the one sentence out loud.

"'I have not been kidnapped'"

Diana sighed and crumpled it once more into a ball and threw it behind her although Flash quickly raced behind her and grabbed it, examining it once again for himself.

"So what are you going to do?"

Batman still didn't answer, it's like he wasn't even fully awake.

*ring*

Flash jumped and all heads in the conference room turned toward him.

Flash quickly took out his phone: it was Iris.

Flash looked back at his team and they looked pretty annoyed.

"Geez sorry!"

He turned away and answered the call.

"Uh Iris? Now is not the greatest--"

"Barry is there a TV where you're at?"

Barry looked up and saw the giant monitor above him.

"Uh yeah actually. A big one, I'm at the Watch Tower. Now what's going on?"

"Just turn it on, it's on every channel. Some colleagues of mine called from Jump City and... they've got a pretty big show going on."

Barry pulled the phone away from his ear for a minute.

"Hey GL... could you turn the monitor on?"

John Stuart crossed his arms.

"Uh yeah but what the hell for?"

"Just do it!!"

Iris's annoyed screach immediately put John into motion... Barry suddenly fell in love with his wife even more.

As soon as it turned on, the scene was Jump City.

And a certain young bird made an appearance.

Talking... to a girl with pink hair?

Watching behind him is a large boy with a gray hoodie, a young boy, and a young girl.

They look like... they have Robin's back.

Mount Justice

Wally was worried. No one has seen Robin for a whole day now.

So what does he do when he's worried?

Stuff his face and watch TV.

He fell back on the couch with five sandwiches. He turns the TV on and then takes a big bite.

He ends up choking on the food and spitting it back out.

"Guys get your butts in here! It's ROBIN!!"

They all came in quickly as Wally grabbed the remote and turned the volume up full blast, trying to hear what was going on.

Robin and... some other people were fighting aliens.

Aliens... none that he knows of.

"He looks... different." said Wally. He was still trying to figure out why he left in the first place.

"So he got a new look and a new city... did he find a new team?" asked Artemis.

Kaldur stayed quiet, eyes fixed on the screen.

Suddenly the dark haired girl summoned something dark... and they were gone?!

"What just happened?!"

Everyone had wide eyes, they couldn't look away even if they tried.

Watch Tower

The League didn't know what to do, for once they were actually frozen in place.

"Shouldn't we go to Jump City? It's an alien invasion!" yelled Hawkgirl.

GL shot her a look but didn't say anything.

Instead, it was Batman who spoke.

"No... give them a chance."

"A chance?! They're young and we don't even know who the others are--"

"Look!" shouted Barry, interrupting both GL and Batman's argument.

And sure enough, there goes the mothership.

And the young group of heroes are teleported into the street.

Jump City

Robin, Beastboy, and Cyborg exchanged fist bumps and Starfire sneaked in one of the few hugs Raven would ever allow.

Then Cyborg turned to Robin.

"Alright man enough. We all know where you usually are. Why aren't you with the Bat?"

It wasn't an interrogation. It was just an honest question.

"And we would also like to know!"

The camera crew that was filming the whole thing finally rushed up to the young heroes.

Both teams finally got a good look at their 'missing' bird.

"Robin, why aren't you in Gotham? Is Batman here? What about the Young Justice team?"

Something changed in BB's demeanor when Young Justice was mentioned...

Both the League and YJ were surprised at what they saw.

Straight face, no smile. All serious.

Where was the Robin they knew?

Robin's mask lenses narrowed a little.

He took a deep breath and answered the questions expertly.

"Well I decided, and it seems someone else decided for me that I needed to move on from being Batman's partner."

Batman flinched. I didn't mean it like that...

"So as to answer the question regarding him... I'm sure the Batman is still guarding his city. As for the Young Justice team..."

Everyone at Mount Justice leaned to the edge of their seats.

"It's time I moved on from them too. It seems I'm not taken seriously there anymore."

Everyone at the Mountain understood at once the consequences of their actions.

But it took a minute for Wally to figure out that what he said wasn't so easily forgotten.

But when it did...

Oh crap Rob...

The reporter asked another question, one that made both teams pay close attention.

"Will you be staying in our city then? To stay?"

Robin seemed to be thinking for a minute.

Please say no, please say no!

"Yeah... I will be. At least for a few years."

Everyone in YJ looked between each other. Distraught looks all around, even from Connor.

"And your new team?"

Kaldur was now tempted to turn off the TV.

Robin stepped aside, letting the camera get a good look at his new friends. A hint of a smile, a proud and happy smile finally appeared on Robin's face.

"What can we call Jump City's new guardian angels?"

Robin looked over at the others. Cyborg whispered something in his ear.

Apparently, Robin liked what he said.

"We are the Teen Titans."

Applause ran through the streets and the live feed of cameras finally stopped. The channel changed back to a movie it was playing.

Marvel Avengers.

Wally scoffed and turned the TV off.

"I hate that movie..." whispered Wally.(just a joke!!!!)

The Zeta tube alarm went off. Alerting the arrival of Green Arrow, Red Tornado, Black Canary, Superman, the Flash, and... Batman.

"I assume you all heard the news?"

They all nodded.

"Think he's ever gonna come back?"

"Don't know Kid. It's really up to him..." said Flash.

Everyone looked at Batman.

"...he made his choice."

Batman turned around and left without another word.

Jump City

"So... what happened between you and the Bat?"

"...nothing big Cy. Just a falling out."

"Who is Batman?" asked Starfire.

Everyone gave her a blank look.

"Right... different planet." said BB.

"Batman's a vigilante Star. I used to work with him."

"So... what now? We gotta have an HQ." said Raven.

Cyborg's grin got bigger and he turned around, both Star and Raven following him, telling them about his 'master plans' for that little island.

But Beast Boy hung back with Robin.

BB kept looking at him.

"What?"

BB sighed.

"You don't remember me do you? I know I've changed but... I was that little kid who--"

Robin's lens widened.

"That little kid... Garfield Logan?"

BB smiled and said...

"Yep! That's me!"

"What... happened to you?"

"Uh..." Gar didn't really seem to intent on aswering.

"Not important. What happened with your other team?"

Robin's small smile quickly disappeared.

"They treated me like a child... even now."

They both stayed quiet for a moment.

"Well BB, I think we both proved them wrong today. Age doesn't matter. C'mon let's go join our new team."

They both started heading towards two bored girls listening to a blabbering Cyborg.

"You know..." started Beast Boy.

"We're gonna need a leader. How about you? I mean we did so good today under your leadership. I don't think the others will have a problem with it."

"No. No we won't."

Robin looked up to see Raven, Starfire, and Cyborg all smiling at him and nodding.

Robin's small smile returns.

"Alright then."

Raven nods with a small smile while BB and Star cheer.

"Alright! Now these are my ideas for HQ. I was thinking a tower. Titans Tower..."
