Why didn't I have self-control?

"Kelly, I made a huge mistake-" I said

"No, I made a huge mistake; I shouldn't have kissed you." She hanged her head in shame.

"But the question is: Why did you kiss me?"

"If I didn't do what I was told, I would be punished-" She immediately started sobbing.

Should I ask her what she meant by punished?

It's not your business.

"Come on, Kelly, I'll bring you home." I picked her up and put her on my back, and she held onto me immediately.

"Austin.....you won't like what you'll see," Kelly says while not trying to tear up again.

"I'm willing to take the chance, now direct me to your house."

"Okay, It's two blocks away," Kelly said.

30 minutes later

We finally reached the house. It was a yellow two-story house with a white roof. We walked inside while Kelly called her brother's phone. We heard ringing upstairs, so Kelly jumped off my back and carefully pulled me upstairs. We stopped at his door and lightly leaned against the door to eavesdrop.

"Ally, I'm always here, no matter what. Austin doesn't deserve you."

"Thanks, Kyle, It's lovely of you to comfort me."

I opened the door to see them lying down in the same bed. I instantly got angry.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS ALLY?!  Are you really believing what he says?!" I shouted at her.

"Austin, I did nothing wrong. Kyle was sweet enough to comfort me when I needed someone!"

"You have your parents for that! You shouldn't be around someone who's using you!"

"Don't you dare mention my parents, plus you don't know Kyle well enough!"

"And you do?" I chuckled.

"YES, I DO! He's my new boyfriend, after all."

I froze in shock, along with Kelly...She's dating him?!

"Ally, you joking, right? You can't be doing this." My voice got softer.

"She remembered that she had standards, so Ally required a better, smarter and more handsome boyfriend," Kyle said confidently.

He leaned forward to kiss Ally, but I tackled Kyle to the floor and started to punch him in the face like crazy. I got off and started to kick him in the ribs.

"What spell did you cast on my Ally, you devil?!" I cried while kicking him harder.

Kelly pulled me off of him while Ally checked Kyle for bruises finding his new black eye.

"What is wrong with you?! Leave us alone!" Ally said, crying with tears streaming down her face in frustration.

"Ally-"

"GET OUT!!!"

"I'll leave then." tears started streaming down my face and pulled. Kelly pulled me out of the room.

I thanked Kelly for showing the truth and gave her hugged. Surprisingly, she hugged back. We exchanged numbers, and I left.

Later that night

While I was lying, there was this empty feeling.

Could this be because Ally is no longer with me?

Kissing Kelly was wrong, but it felt so right.

I got up and walked to the bathroom and got ready for bed, and fell asleep.

Narrator's POV

Start of Flashback
Ally and Austin were at Wonder park, having a great time when Ally pulled out a yellow box.

"Open it!" Ally said with excitement

Austin opens it to find a music note ring and a guitar pick necklace. He was really shocked.

"Wow, Ally, thank you so much!!" Austin said, tackling Ally to the ground. "How did you get the money to pay for this?"

"I got a second job because I wanted to get you something special for our 5th anniversary today!!" Ally said, kissing Austin's cheek and playing with his blonde hair.

"Wait. That's today?!" Austin said in shock because he forgot. He got off Ally and started getting nervous.

"Ally, I'm really-"

"Don't even finish, Austin!" Ally says angrily and starts ranting.

"You don't remember? December 26? Do you remember anything about our relationship? I know for a fact that you didn't get me anything." Ally crossed her legs on the picnic blanket with a sad look on her face.

Austin started to feel horrible, and sadly it's not the first time he has done this. He forgot their 1st anniversary. All of a sudden, a redhead popped out of nowhere!

"Aussie!!!!" The redhead screaming while tackling him. Austin was shocked but happy to see her.

"What are you doing here, Lucy?" Austin said with fright, knowing that if Ally found out that he had another girlfriend, she would not be happy.

"I wanted to see you, of course! When are you going to dump her?" Lucy asked. She wanted Austin all to herself.

"Soon, just not today, I forgot our anniversary again, and she's already mad at me. I feel so horrible!" Austin says frustrated

"Well, I think I know a way that I can make you feel better!" Lucy says before pressing her lips onto his. Austin wanted to pull away but was lost in the kiss. They started making out, but then someone shouted at them.

"What are you doing!?"

They pulled away to see a rather upset Ally. Lucy decided to take Austin and make him hers once and for all.

"Hi, I'm Lucy; I'm Austin's better girlfriend. Yes, he was cheating on you, and I don't blame him. Who would want to date a stuck up girl like you? He's dumping you for me, which I think is the better choice. So bye, see you never!" Lucy says with no care for Ally's feelings.

"Austin, is this true?" Ally says with tears forming in her eyes. Austin pulls off the necklace and ring and throws them at her face. And he succeeds because the ring hit her in her eye.

"They say love is blind, but it looks like only one of us has seen the light," Austin says, leaving, with Lucy holding his hand, Ally with her injury.

End of Flashback

"Woah!!" Austin said shooting up from the bed. His heart was beating fast in his chest. He tries to calm himself down.

A bad memory that I can't erase...

"Honey, there's someone here to see you!"
