It was dark, after Bible study. The rain had stopped, and now the sky was clear. I said as much out loud, thinking I was alone. He came around the corner just as I said that. I was a bit embarrassed, so I got into the car, but left the door open. He said bye. I said bye. It was cute awkward.
Pessimistically, he was just being polite. Optimistically, he wanted to say something specifically to me. Realistically, I have no clue.
