Mitchell stood up all the way to show the extent of his height.
"Ladies," boomed Mitchell "As your boss told you I am Mitchell Porter but you can call me Mitch. I heard Midnight Wolf on Wednesday night and by damn are they good.I understand Thea that you're the manager?"
Thea nods as she had to crane her neck to look at Mit "Yes sir I am."
" And Becky I understand you discovered them? -"
Becky nods as she too has to crane her neck to look at Mitchell.
"-Why don't I sit so you ladies don't have to crane your necks,-" said Mitchell with a boisterous laugh.
He sat across from the women and they both lower their heads to look him in his eyes.
"-So you're probably wondering why I am here."
" Yes," the women said in unison.
" Well I own Portertown Records, -"began Mitchell.
Thea and Becky exchanged wide eyed looks.
"-And well I'd like to sign Midnight Wolf."
" What?! "said Thea.
" I'd like sign Midnight Wolf to my record company! "
Thea giggles like a school girl "Really?!-"
Mitchell nods.
"-Can I go get the others?!" asks Thea.
"Are they here?" asks Mitchell.
"Yes.Getting ready for sound check," said Thea.
"Well go get them," said Mitchell.
Thea squealed with delight and tore out of Windham's office.
Not two minutes later Midnight Wolf was crowded into the office.
Colby sat next to Becky who could almost burst at the news the band was about to get.
"Midnight Wolf," began Mitchell after the introductions had been made "I'd like to sign you to a record contract!"
" What?! "said Colby his mouth dropping.
He turned to Becky who was smiling like a fool and he grabbed her and hugged her tightly.
After the excitement died down the band and Mitchell agreed to Midnight Wolf continuing to play at Wyatt's until their first record was done.
Mitchell takes his leave. As soon as the door was shut Windham smiles at them.
"Go ahead you deserve it!"
They all exploded into screams. Colby stood up and pulled Becky into his arms. He hugged her and kissed her lips and she happily kissed him back. Thea and Tom celebrated the same way as did Tay and Luke. Poor Joe stood there awkwardly as he had no one to hug and kiss like that. Well there was Windham but that would be really weird.
After everything died down they all exit.Leaving only Colby and Becky in Windham's office.
"Holy shit!!! A record deal?!!!!" said Colby looking at Becky who is smiling widely at him.
"Congratulations Colby," she said with tears in her eyes.
"Becky are you crying?" said Colby wrapping his arms around her waist.
"Yeah," said Becky.
"Why?" asked Colby.
"Happy.Sad," said Becky wiping away tears.
"Why are you sad?" asked Colby wiping her tears away.
"I won't be able to see you every day once your record is complete and then you'll be off on the road. So this," said Becky pointing at Colby and herself "Might as well be over. I can't hold you back. You're about to be able to live the dream."
She buries her face into his chest she smelt his cologne.
"Becky," said Colby pulling her back from him "I don't know were my band is headed but I do know one thing where ever we are headed I want you right there by my side."
Becky smiles "Really?"
" YES of course now that I found you I don't want to loose you, "said Colby cupping Becky's face "Becky I know this is all happened so fast but I think I am falling in love with you."
Becky looks deeply into Colby's chocolate brown eyes and sees nothing but love radiating from them. A smile spread clear across Becky's face.
"I think I am falling in love with you too Colby,-" said Becky.
Colby smiles and pulls Becky into a smoldering kiss that made her toes curl in her sneakers.
"-You better go get ready for sound check."
Colby smiles "I'll see you later."
Becky smiles and nods "I'll be waiting."
Colby kissed Becky one more time before leaving Windham's office.
Becky laughs and collapsed onto the chair. She knew that Colby made her heart skip a beat whenever she saw him,thought of him,smelled him etcetera. Becky basically floated out to the bar. She was in cloud nine and she could of cared less who knew.
