Y/N POV
I woke up holding my chest, I began coughing, it woke Julia.
Julia: you alright?
Me: yeah.....I'm fine, had a nightmare, like I was....drowning....
Julia: it was just a dream....aw you dick it was 2 minutes before the alarm.
Me: Sorry.....I need to talk to Yang.
Julia: you know she's not a morning person, now let's get up, we need to get ready for the first team mission.
Me: alright....let's get ready for this.
Timeskip 30 minutes.
I was ready to go, Julia finished as well, we both went out, Weiss and Ruby were waiting outside the dorm.
Me: hello.....what's happening?
Weiss: waiting for Yang and Blake to finish getting ready.
Ruby: I want FOOOOOOOD!
I tossed Ruby a granola bar.
Me: little something to hold you over.
Yang and Blake finished and left their dorm.
Me: Yang I need to talk to you
Yang: not now.....
She immediately broke down in tears.
Me: you alright?
Yang: no....I'm sorry for overreacting, I found out last night after I left it was....you know?
Me: Mother Nature saying "you are now getting very very pissy"
Yang: yes Y/N.
Me: I probably didn't help
Yang: guess we both fucked up then
Me: are we still good though?
Yang: definitely
We both hugged, I noticed out of the corner of my eye that Ruby looked confused.
Me: you okay Rubes?
Ruby: what does Mother Nature do with Yang?
Me: God you are so friggin innocent.
We all started walking down the hall to the launch stations.
Mom: Y/N and Julia, you are with me for your first team mission.
Yang: I will see you lover boy.
Me: you shall indeed.
Julia and me walked towards my mother who put us in a bullhead.
Mom: there has been a large spike in Grimm activity, we will be figuring out what's causing this, and then we'll kill them all.
Me: sounds good. Where are we going?
Mom: forest if forever fall, watch your backs, Grimm will hide anywhere.
We all sat down and took off.
3rd POV
At the Forest of Forever Fall, Salem was spawning in all sorts of Grimm.
Salem: I feel you coming Y/N, we won't fight today nor tomorrow, but know that your head will soon be my trophy.
She snapped and a portal opened, she went through it and snapped again. The bullhead flew over the spot and Y/N opened the door.
Glynda: be very caref-
Y/N jumped out of the bullhead and transformed. He slammed into the ground, coming out of the crater as a new creature.

Julia: what is that?
Glynda: if you haven't seen it, I sure as hell haven't.
Y/N began smelling the air and immediately began to growl. A Beowulf jumped from one of the bushes. The two began circling around, snapping at each other.

Y/N launched at the Beowulf and bit its neck. It was being thrown around like a ragdoll until it stopped moving completely. Y/N dropped it and ran off.
Glynda: he is so much like his father, even as a monster.
The bullhead landed and the two ladies got out. They began walking around, examining the dead Beowulf.
Julia: Y/N seems to be more viscous depending on the monster he transforms into. As Yasei he's a savage, but as Quilton he's calm and connected with a touch of ready to kill.
Glynda: you know a lot of his forms do you?
Julia: when we didn't have classes he would show me all the ones he knew of and their names...along with what they do, it seems he keeps finding more and more.
Glynda: can you tell me more....I'm his mother but I feel so distant, I want to know him better, while he's off.....whatever he's doing.
Meanwhile with Y/N.
He was like a wolf among sheep, one after another he was attacking Grimm and ripping them apart. He then was hit with an arrow from the trees. He looked at the wound and pulled the arrow out. Cinder came out of the tree, and she looked pissed.
Cinder: I'm going to gut you.
Y/N growled and launched at her. She shot a fireball, though Y/N instinctively opened his mouth and swallowed the fire.
Cinder: what?!
Y/N landed and shot it back out at Cinder, hitting her against a tree. He then jumped at her, using all her strength to hold him back. He bit down on her leg and started running with her through the woods.
Meanwhile with Glynda and Julia.
Julia: Quilton is the one you saw when you met Ruby, Yasei is his first ever transformation and the one he knows best. There's the Behemoth, but he only uses that for emergencies because he'd rather not break things...he told me about the ones that were too big for the dorm.
Glynda: what about the orange lining monster?
Julia: Ruby translated it as ShockSorber, since she can understand Y/N when he's transformed.
Glynda: which one is your favorite?
Julia: I like ShockSorber to be honest, it's different looking.
Glynda: I'll have to see some more of these transformations at some point.
Back with Y/N.
He threw Cinder into a tree, she was all scratched up with a massive gash in her leg.

He went closer to her, she quickly went through the ground and into a portal.
Y/N growled and started walking back.
