Hi guys.

I actually didn't think this book was going to happen. 

For anyone who has read "What Happened at Kate's House" you all know that I have big plans for that crew of people, with multiple stories in mind to write when the time presents itself. For the record, you don't have to read that story to read this one, although it might help make a little more sense about some of the character's motives.  If you haven't read it, keep an eye out for it on bookshelves, I recently signed a publishing deal and we are looking to get Kate and Her friend's story to the shelf for the Christmas season, I have however left the first chapter in place so you can get a feel for the type of story it is.

Originally, as I read through "What Happened" I came to a realization. As much as I loved the book, the story, and most of all the feelings and chaos, there just wasn't enough in that book to make a movie out of. Not sure why I was thinking about a movie but the idea stuck with me. Between interactions and dialogue, I think book one, un-edited would take up maybe about an hour of screen time or less.

The obvious thought to follow this was "Well, there are a lot of people here at Kate's Party, maybe I could just write more stories about more people here." And then I shelved the idea and left it simmering to move on to other projects.

Originally I put up about 9 chapters here and then stalled out on the narrative.  This book is a lot edgier and definitely has more bite, so readers of the original please keep that in mind.  With the publishing date of "What Happened" approaching I figured it would probably be a good idea to come back to this story and see Just what Happened to Rodney, Josh, Max, Aleisha, Tina, and Jacob.

I'm going to start posting again as I write, aiming for at least a chapter a week, and we'll go from there.

So now... Here we are again... With new friends, to find out... WHAT ELSE HAPPENED AT KATE'S HOUSE.
