Hunter had finished up his album with two weeks to spare. So he had interviews like crazy. He was on talk shows and radio and internet. He met with magazine people and anybody else you could imagine. Which was fine with me. I needed to get ready to launch. I was calling people last minute to make sure they would be coming to the launch. I didn't want any empty seats. I had three up front for Taylor, Gabby and Riley. I was excited for them to meet.

       I'd been in talks with the party planner. Who assured me everything was going as planned. I confirmed with all the models, hair and makeup people. Even the person bringing the appetizers. I wasn't trying to feed everybody but i didn't want people to starve. Hunter knew of a local DJ who mixed me a super cool song for the girls to walk down the runway to. So i had them show up the day before. It was really me being anal.

      "Okay girls, that looked good let's walk down one more time. Gigi, could you give me a bit more attitude?" I asked. "Sure thing boss!" She said saluting me. I chuckled. My phone rang from in my pocket. "Hey um Belogios want's to put in an order. They haven't even seen all of the clothes yet and they are obsessed. What do i do?" Asked Gabby. I watched the girls coming down to the music. I stepped back so i could hear her better.

     "Then you take the order. It'll be fine. Look at the amount on the purchase order. You call the factory and tell them what you need and where it's going they'll ship it over for you. Then they'll start making more to fill the warehouse back up." I said. "Will we always get a purchase order?" Gabby asked. "You should, it just helps keeps things organized. Now you need to make sure when you drop the clothes off that you get a check. You'll deposit it into the work account i set up." "Okay um one more thing. This isn't just a regional store. It's nationwide. Mr Belogio want's your line in all of his stores." She said.

    "Okay, well then we need to know how much is going to what stores. The factory can do it. They have a separate shipping team that helps them fill orders. The guys are packing the stuff and labeling it. So just get them the numbers." I said. "Okay um Mr belogio is going to pay us. It's a lot of money i mean like more money than i've ever hopped to see in my life and this is just one chain." "Welcome to the big times." I said laughing. "I thought this would come much later though y'know?" She asked. "I do, but it's exciting. It's why i had to hire you. I almost feel guilty that i'm leaving." I said.

                     The last girl finished her walk and the music cut off. "Hold on Gabs." I covered the phone with my hand. "That looked great, thank you guys. You can go. I'll see you on Saturday!" I waved and the room got quiet. "Okay i'm back." I said. "Okay good, now don't you dare feel guilty about leaving. You have had a crazy year. Between being dumped and fired and then stuck with a guy in a new state and not being able to leave. And then rising a company from nothing. I mean you earned it. I just wanted you to know what was going on. I'm still learning but i feel like after we do this one time we'll be pros. Trust us, it's why you hired us. And we'll call if we need you." She said.

              "Good okay, i'll come by and take a look at the order and we'll get it sorted." "Good Taylor picked up some pizza for lunch." Said Gabby. "Great i'm starving. Are ya'll still doing work out of the tiny hotel room?" I asked. "We are, it's a little tough but were making do." She said. "I know a girl who can find you a house." I said. "Unless your buying we might wanna hold off." Said Gabby sighing. "Well tell you what. I'm gonna buy you a house." "I was kidding, i couldn't take that." Said Gabby. "Yes we can! Tell her we want a pool." Said Taylor close to the phone.

                "She's right, you totally can. You guys dropped everything to come work for me. You didn't have to. And we can't have you working out of a hotel room now can we? That can't be cheap." I said. "Well you've got me there. Okay call the girl." "I'll call her on my way to you." I said. "Okay great. See you soon." Said Gabby hanging up.

                  When i called the girl she was so happy. She thought she was going to be able to help Hunter and i find a place. I explained that i didn't need a place yet but if she came through for me on this one that she could help us at a later time. I told her i wanted a quick turn around and that i'd pay all cash. I didn't need any inspections done to speed things up and i wanted to go this afternoon. "Well Ms Hayes i think we can do that. So tell me what you need." Said Gloria. "Please call me Jessica. I need a three bed two bath. The third bedroom will become an office. And a pool." I said. "Oh i already have three properties that i just know you will love! I'll text you the addresses and we can go. Say three?" Asked Gloria. "Perfect." I said. "Okay i'll shoot over the first place now." Said Gloria. "Thank you so much." 

             I found the girls hotel room and they let me in. "So we go to the first place at three." I said. "Well that was fast, thanks Jess." Said Taylor handing me a slice of pizza. "We don't have a fax machine. Hold on." I dialed the number to the factory and got a hold of one of the workers. "Yello? Hank speaking."" He answered.

         I told him we had a huge purchase order and that we didn't have a fax machine to fax over the numbers. But that we'd be getting one soon. Would it be okay if i just dropped the purchase orders in person. "Sure thang, we understand the building of a business but you will get a fax machine soon right? Easier all around." "Of course Hank The next set shall come by fax. Now i warn you it's a pretty big shipment." I said. "No worries. The warehouse is full. As soon as you give me the numbers i'll do some math. I know how much we sent over and how much is here. We'll get probably two thirds sent out and maybe the rest by the end of the week." Said Hank. "Great, thank you so much!" I said. "No problem." I said. Taylor had already eaten so i sent her to drop off the purchase order and to drop the check off at the bank.

         "So you're buying us a house is super generous but i can't let you do that. We're going to pay rent." Said Gabby. "Are you sure? Cause i don't mind." I said. "Positive, but i'm not sure how that works since you pay us...." Gabby said thoughtfully. "I do, how about i just take two hundred out of each of your paychecks until you've paid the house off." I said. "That'll take forever though." Said Gabby. "So what? It's fine. I want to do this, and if you move out i have a rental property." I said. "Oh i guess that's true." Said Gabby. We dug into the pizza.

               Taylor came back about thirty minutes later and it was almost three. "Why are you still driving that old car?" Taylor asked. "Why not? It runs fine?" I said shrugging. "Well your husband is rich, and now you're rich. I just thought you'd buy something nicer." Said Taylor. "I don't need anything nicer. It'll just sit up while i'm gone." I said. "Oh alright. Well let's get in your old hoopty and head to the first address." Said Taylor. Gabby and i rolled our eyes.

                  We checked out seven places in two days. I was impressed. All of the houses were great and exactly what the girls needed but we ended up buying one that had two master suites and the third room was actually an office. It had a door from the outside so they could hold meetings. The room was huge. We'd get some chairs to go around the desk so they could meet with potential clients if they needed to. And it of course had a pool. I paid in cash so the girls could move in right away. They didn't have all of their things since they would be taking Gabby's car back after the wedding with the rest. It was sitting in a corner of the old rental house. The new roommate was nice enough to let them store it for a few weeks.

                 I finally went home. It was Friday and i was exhausted. I had been going nonstop. But tomorrow was the big day. We'd made the plans to fly in on Wednesday so we could finish setting up the venue. We had talked with everybody from the caterer to the photographer. Everything was a go. We'd do a joint bachelorette and bachelor party at the spa on Friday. Then we'd meet back the next day for hair and makeup. We'd have our nails done during our spa time. I was excited to get away and just rest. We'd both earned it. I just had to trust that the girls had everything under control.

             I walked in tired on my feet. Hunter had picked up dinner from my favorite Italian restaurant. It was smelling up the condo in the best way. "Hey baby, you look tired." He said. "I am, it's been a long week." I sighed.  "I know, come here." He opened his arms for a hug. I fell into him. And i started crying. It was pure exhaustion but also i was a crier. "Hey, it's okay." He said rubbing my back. I sucked in a breath. "I'm just tired." I said. "I know, i hear you. But just another week and it'll be over. We'll be on a jet London bound." He said. "We'll be alone and we can finally rest. And then sight see." He said smiling at the thought.

        "Now come eat some dinner." He said. He pulled out my chair and i took a seat wiping my eyes. "How was your day?" I asked. "It was fine. Just interviews. Speaking off. I hate to add more to your plate. But Jack had been sending over updates to that wedding magazine. He's gone now but they think we should come in for a sit down interview again. Got a call from a Gale somebody." He said.

             "Can we go Sunday?" I asked. "Sure i'll text her back and see if that works." He said smiling. "How was your day?" He asked. "It was long just like yesterday but i feel like it's all worth it y'know the girls are moving into there new house. And it'll be better." I said. "It was cool of you to buy them a house." Hunter said. "Yea well i knew it would take them a while to save up and it's easier if they just pay me then i can sell it or rent it out whatever." I said. "Why didn't they just rent something here?" He asked. "I don't know, guess i'm only charging them two hundred each?" I shrugged.

             "Ah the friends and co worker discount i like it." He nodded. I took a bite of the warm pasta. "Oh this is so good. Thank you!" I said. "No problem, finish up and you can pick a movie. I'll give you a back massage." He said. "Oooh, i like you." I said. "I like you too."
