Nagpur :

As soon as the final bell rang, Sai came out of the exam hall excitedly. Finally her semester exams have finished and now she can finally go back to her home at Gadchiroli! The last exam had been tedious for her as the gap was really less between two of her papers and now since the exam went well, she was happy about it. 

"Bappa! Finally, huh!!" Sai exclaimed in happiness as she came downstairs from the exam hall.

"Ae! Sai..How were your exams?" Sai heard someone calling her, so she turned back to see a classmate of hers asking about her exams..

"It was good.." She replied cheerfully as she turned around to go to her hostel.

She was happy today as her Aaba would come to Nagpur to take her back! She finally convinced her father to come and take her back. 

Hurriedly, she went back to her hostel and took the bags she kept for taking to Gadchiroli, her home. Though she wanted to take more, she knew she was visiting for 2 months, 1 month of her vacations and 1 month their professors decided to take theory classes online, so she doesn't need to come back soon. She was elated as after almost a year she would be living with her Aaba and Usha Maushi for a long time. 

She went to the Guard's room and kept all her luggage. 

As she went towards the entrance of her hostel, her heart beat loudly describing her happiness as she heard police siren towards her hostel.

Nagpur Medical College was a bit far from the local police station and she hardly heard sirens here so she definitely could say it's her father, Inspector Kamal Joshi only!!

"Aaba." She squealed in happiness as she could hear the siren. Finally her Aaba came!! 

As she saw the car stopping near the hostel gate, she jumped to that place and ran towards the car window .

As the window panes of the car rolled down, her face showed first happiness then surprise then astonishment to disappointment and anger as she saw the person sitting behind her father.

"Sai bada..look I kept my promise..." She could hear her Aaba talking but the person sitting behind his Aaba took all her attention. 

"Aaba! What's that person doing beside you?" Sai asked, scrunching her nose as she could hear that person asking something to his father, addressing as "sir.."

Her mind was connecting the dots her father told earlier and hearing "sir" from that person's mouth, Kamal Joshi confirmed the same. 

"Sai Bada .. meet our new ACP, ACP Virat Chavan..." Kamal Joshi proudly introduced his favorite student to his loving daughter.

As Virat bent down to ask Kamal sir and Sai also bent down to have a better vision, both were dumb struck to see each other and burst out telling, "You!"

Kamal Joshi was surprised as well as shocked hearing both of his children yelling at each other. Surprised as he couldn't believe that they knew each other from earlier and shocked at the tone they used for each other.

"Sai Bada, Virat sir .." Kamal Joshi tried to enquire , "How do you guys know each other..?" He couldn't control his curiosity at the new found information..

"Aaba.. it's that .." "Kamal sir.. I think you guys are getting late.." Virat cut Sai in the middle as she started to narrate the story of her ice cream incident.

"Kamal sir, we will definitely tell our story on our way to Gadchiroli.. but before that I request Ms. Saii Joshii to enter inside the car ..." He tried to divert the situation...

"Ms. Joshi, please enter our humble car.." Virat requested as he turned towards her who was quite angry don't know why .

"I'm entering, don't worry about me ...Aaba... please take my luggage from the guard post... please.." Sai answered the first point in a curt tone as she requested her father to collect her bags from the guard post.

After collecting the luggage,Sai finally sat with her father at the back side of the car while Virat moved to the front side and sat with the driver.

"Please start the engine!" He instructed as the driver started to move out of Nagpur.

Sai sat at the back with a pouty face with her father who was watching her antiques.

"What happened, Bada?" Kamal Joshi silently whispered to his daughter who was making faces at Virat.

"I met her at Nagpur only in Aaba, for him my ice cream fell down on the road." Sai complained about Virat to her father. "And above all he was showing attitude too..." she complained further.

"Ha ha ha...For this .." Kamal Joshi laughed at her daughter's child-likeness.

"Majhi Mulgi.. ha ha.." Kamal Joshi laughed. 

The journey to Nagpur was quite peaceful . Though Sai was irritated with Virat's presence, she didn't create any scene as he was her father's senior and she hasn't known him yet fully. Her anger was on point for him and she decided to teach him a lesson for that.

After some time, she realised that the car had stopped. She peeped out of the car window only to realise that she finally reached her home. In no time, she got happy as she reached home and went outside the car hurriedly.

"Usha Maushi.." she squealed in happiness as she entered her room. 

Kamal Joshi laughed at seeing his crazy yet lovable daughter. 

"Ha ha ha...Virat sir thank you..." He went and thanked Virat sir who was also smiling at Sai seeing her cute antiques.

Virat came out of the trance and realised his mentor was standing beside him.

"Ohh no.. no..sir it was my pleasure to have your company.." Virat as he went towards the car to go to his quarters.

"Sir ..."  Virat stopped in his way. 

"Sir. I want you and your mother Ashwini ji to visit our house for dinner. We wanted to host it earlier but since my daughter wasn't at home, I couldn't call you... please sir don't say no.. it's my request as well as order ." Kamal Joshi earnestly invited Virat for dinner in his house.

"Thank you sir ... for this invitation..You don't need to do that much hard work... But since it's an order from my mentor, how could I say no .. I'll definitely come to your place for dinner..." Virat happily agreed to Kamal sir's proposal.

"Okay sir please come by 8pm.." Kamal Joshi informed him of the time and went inside his house.

Virat also went towards his car and drifted off to his quarters.
