Sorry I haven't updated this story in a while I've been busy with my other stories. Without a further ado lets get started...

It was Christmas morning. Becky had a very important surgery that day. I got a small gift for her, a winter hat with with a purple Pom-Pom on top. Her doctor, Sonja, gave me a card and a dark chocolate Hershey bar. My favorite.
  Sonja, Becky, and I grew very close in the last 6 months. I got Sonja a twenty and a card. I posted a message on Facebook talking about what was going on in my life and got blasted with good wishes. I could've never been so thankful.
  Sooner that it felt like Becky's health rapidly got better by the day. She fully recovered from her stroke. The cancer almost left her system. Everyday my mood got better as she get better. It made me regain the happiness and hope I once had.
Sonja, the other doctors, surgeons, and nurses said she would be able to to leave on February 26. Only 1 and a half more months of this. "Joy," I thought. And then I remembered the ring. Still bouncing around in my travelers' bag. Waiting for me. I decided to take it out the last day of living in the hospital. "Perfect," I thought to myself.
