The first stop on Sonic and Amy's date was a park. As they were walking through the park, the beautiful scenery brought a smile to Amy's face that Sonic couldn't help but take notice of.

'She really does have a beautiful smile.' Sonic thought with a smile as Amy observed the birds flying overhead.

Eventually they came across a big playground where kids both human and mobian were having the time of their lives with their parents sitting on nearby benches keeping an eye on them.

Amy couldn't help but smile at the sight until she heard Sonic's voice saying "Amy?"

"Yes Sonic?" She said as she turned her head to see Sonic with an eager grin on his face.

"Can I go play!? Can I go play!? Can I go play!?" Sonic said excitedly.

Amy giggled and jokingly said "Just make sure you stay out of trouble 'young man'."

"Yes 'mom'." Sonic retorted jokingly with a grin.

As Sonic went to join the fun, the kids immediately recognized him.

"SONIC!!!!" They cheered.

"Hey kids! Who's ready to have some real fun!?" Sonic said with a wink, a grin and a thumbs-up.

"ME! ME! ME!" They all shouted while raising their hands.

Amy smiled wider than before as she watched Sonic join in the festivities.

'He's still a kid at heart.' She thought fondly.

Amy then decided to go exploring the rest of the park on her own while Sonic played. She figured she could text him to let him know where she is and if she was ready to leave.

Amy walked around aimlessly while admiring the scenery until eventually she made her way to a small lake. She could see some lily pads with a couple frogs on them along with a family of ducks making their way to shore.

Amy decided to take a break from walking and went up to nearby tree to rest against it. As she sat down, she saw a daisy growing right next to her. She picked it up and took a sniff, making her feel relaxed. After that, she put the daisy under her right ear.

As she sat and observed all of nature and its splendor, her mind started to focus on Sonic. She was still wrapping her mind around the fact that she and Sonic were on a date or what appeared to be one anyway.

'The big question is why did Sonic ask me to go on a date with him? Could it be possible that maybe...just maybe...he might have feelings for me?' She thought.

But just before she could delve further into her thoughts, she started to hear what sounded like a child whimpering.

'I'll ask him later.' She thought as she went to go look for the source of the whimpering.
