-Part 5-

Porrim's dead white eyes roamed all over your face and body. She hummed to herself, a hand on her chin and the other holding her left arm in a comfortable arms crossed like position. A few moments later, she dove into her closet and disappeared somewhere in the sea of dresses, shirts, skirts, jeans and pretty much every colour of any article of clothing you could ever imagine. It's a surprise it all fits in there, though by the looks of it and how it was pouring out from underneath the closet doors, it didn't all fit in there.

When she returned from her mission, she brought a red dress that looked very similar to the shade of Kankri's sweater out with her. She smiled at you cheekily, she had something up her sleeve and you knew it.

You weren't sure how you got here at all. A moment ago you were escaping the grasp of a salty smelling sea-dweller and basking in the presence of your 'flush crush' Kankri and now here you were in Porrim's bedroom. She said she was giving you a makeover, did she really think you needed one?

She walked over and handed the dress to you, nudging you a little towards the bathroom. Meulin who was sitting on the edge of Porrim's queen sized bed only stared at her phone and looked up occasionally to see what was going on.

You let out a sigh and finally listened to Porrim's insistent nudging, glancing back and pouting at her, which only made her laugh as she pulled open one of the many drawers full of makeup that she had. It was a surprise to see all of the grey coloured foundation in her drawers, you didn't think trolls really had makeup like that but apparently they did.

When you closed the door of the bathroom behind you, you let your back crash against it. You hadn't really given yourself a chance to think about things and now that you were alone and it was relatively silent, you were thinking.

'Do I really have a crush on Kankri?'

You unzipped the dress you were already wearing and sighed as you shrugged the other, more fancy and over the top-despite being a sweater dress-one over your head. Seriously, you were beginning to feel like a Barbie doll and Porrim was dressing you up for fun.

'I mean, sure I think he's really cute and he's always been kind to me,' you pulled the skirt of the dress down as far as it could go. It turned out to actually be a nice dress, but the skirt was too short for your liking and it kept sliding up and revealing your thighs. You groaned as you imagined how Cronus would react to seeing them. You really didn't want to have to deal with the desperate sea-dweller anymore.  'But, I haven't really known him for that long. Maybe I need advice on this.'

A knock at the door interrupted your thoughts and you quickly bent down and bundled the dress you were previously wearing up in your arms, turning on your heels and opening the door.

"Ah go+o+d, yo+u're finally do+ne, co+me o+ut so+ I can see yo+u pro+perly," Porrim cooed. You pouted at her again and slid out the small gap that you had created by opening the door. Porrim smiled and hummed again, nodding in approval when she finally got a good look at you. Meulin looked up from her phone and flashed you a toothy grin and a thumbs up.

'Purrfect,' Meulin signed to you. How she managed to sign a cat pun was beyond you. Porrim began to walk back towards her makeup containers.

  "Hmm, I'm no+t sure what to+ do+ abo+ut makeup, we can't use my fo+undation."

"Porrim," you really didn't want makeup on your face, it felt sticky and gross. "Do we really have to do makeup?"

Porrim turned from where she was standing and gave you a look that spoke louder than words, those words would've been 'don't even try me.' "Yes dear, we do+."

You laughed and shook your head, facing back to the mirror and signing to Meulin who was sitting on Porrim's human bed. You still weren't sure why she had so much human furniture in her room, you assumed it made her feel more comfortable here on earth.

'She's obsessed,' you signed, to which Meulin laughed and nodded, her eyes only flicking up for a moment to watch your hands and then they were focused on her phone again. You weren't sure what she was looking at but you doubted you wanted to know judging by how fixated she was.

You sighed and looked down at the ground before you spotted Porrim moving towards you again, this time with many brushes and bottles of foundation. Surprisingly she'd managed to find human foundation somewhere and it seemed close enough to your colour. You could feel your face twisting with worry knowing you wouldn't be able to get out of this. The pointy mascara brush alone was scaring you.

'This is going to be interesting.'

------------------Timeskip brought to you by-- WHY IS THIS SO EARLY IN THE CHAPTER?----------------

What felt like hours-and probably was-later, Porrim stepped away from your face. She analysed it like a painting she'd just completed. She looked content with her work and began to pack all of the cosmetics that were attacking your face earlier away. Once she was no longer blocking the mirror, you could finally see what you looked like.

"Porrim... You are a genius," you gawked at what you saw. Sure, the makeup felt sticky and without a doubt you'd break out at some point if you didn't really make sure to look after your skin for the next week or so, but you looked absolutely flawless-not to say that you don't without all the makeup-stunning and breathtaking. Perfect. You could actually feel confidence sneaking up on you as your jaw continued to drop.

Meulin was now no longer interested in her phone, her eyes set on your lipstick, she seemed to be as in awe as you were looking at the art that was the makeup on your face.

To put it simply, you had a beautiful matte red lip. Again the same shade of red as Kankri's blush, blood and turtleneck sweater. It was like Porrim had been trying to mark you an object of his, make you the human female version of him. Your eyeshadow was also the same shade of red and the slight blush on your cheeks while the eyeliner that made your eyes hurt while Porrim attempted to apply it was a dark shade of midnight black, it made your eyes look like they were diamonds surrounded by the whites of your eyes, absolutely beautiful. You never thought you'd ever feel so confident, but right now you felt like you could rule the world and it was all thanks to Porrim. You smiled over at said troll, who was leaning against her wall with her arms crossed and smiling back at you. You mouthed a thank you to which she only nodded.

"Alright, time to+ sho+w everyo+ne," Porrim moved towards you and practically lifted you off the bed, knowing you would reject. She grabbed a pair of velvet red pumps and handed them to you. You stared at them and then down at your Converse.

"Please no, I could break my ankles in those things, what's wrong with Converse?"

"Ho+ney please, just put them o+n fo+r me?"

You had no idea how Porrim expected you to get down that staircase, but you couldn't reject while she stood there and gave you puppy eyes-or you guessed, bark beast eyes. You mumbled under your breath as you slid your converse off and cringed as you wobbled in the heels. The new height made you nervous.

Porrim and Meulin ganged up on you, pushing you towards the doorway as soon as you regained your balance, one on either side to stop you from falling down the stairs and breaking your head before Kankri even got to see you.

"Stop, you never said I had to show the others!" You decided it was now or never and ran for it, down the second floor hallway, but there was no escape, these shoes were impossible and I mean impossible to walk in.

 "Well, no+w yo+u do+."

"PORRIM!" Porrim didn't stop, she was having none of this and continued to drag you along with Meulin on the opposite side until you made it to the main living room where a majority of trolls minus a few who you couldn't remember the names of were sitting and talking to one and other. You smiled sheepishly, shy under all the eyes that had set on you and suddenly feeling less confident now that the centre of attention was you. Sliding onto the sofa with Porrim and Meulin still at your side made your nerves settle a little however.

 "This is (Y/N)."

Porrim introduced you, though most of the trolls had heard about you from Kankri who according to the troll with long braids (you're pretty sure her name is Meenah), he never shuts up about you. Ever. You waved shyly and smiled.

You glanced around the room after the attention you had received had seemed to have ended and the stares had calmed down to look for a familiar face other than the two trolls beside you. The troll that Porrim and Meulin had been trying to gain attention from this whole time.

You finally managed to find him and just in time too. The intense conversation Kankri had been having with Mituna ended and now his white eyes were locked on you. Glancing up and down as his cheeks heated up. He caught you catching him in the act, which only made his already red cheeks redder. With a huff he hid his face in his turtleneck and didn't come out of there for a while. Your cheeks were hot as well, but you couldn't help but giggle at his behaviour. .

You were hoping no one caught that. Twiddling your thumbs and staring down at them until Porrim nudged you and let you know that Kankri was staring at you again and you should go and sit beside him.

You shook your head and laughed. "He's busy in his own conversation now, plus I don't want to make anything awkward."

Porrim raised an eyebrow, "Ho+w will it be awkward?"

"I practically look like a carbon copy of him, how do you think he's going to react."

Porrim shook her head and pushed you. You laughed and finally took the hint. Huffing and pouting back at her for what felt like the millionth time in the past few hours, walking over and sliding to sit down beside Kankri. He smiled shyly at you, lifting his chin out of his turtleneck to do so before burying it back in, the blush that had been taking over his face returning when his eyes drifted to your thighs. He was a celibate sure, but that doesn't mean he doesn't think things.

A troll with spiky horns and a red Libra symbol on the front of her shirt stepped in front of you, obviously eager to introduce herself. You noticed the bright red glasses that covered her eyes.

"H3y 1'm L4tul4," Latula stuck out her fist for a fist bump. At first you were confused, but you got it eventually and returned the gesture, to which Latula mumbled an 'Oh y34h!' "You're (Y/N) r1ght?"

  You nodded you head. Latula nodded along with you. "R4d1c4l, 4nyw4y 1 just w4nt3d to 1ntroduc3 mys3lf 4nd 4ll th4t j4zz, so w3 should t4lk l4t3r, you s33m cool."

You opened your mouth to agree and ask Latula if she wanted to exchange numbers so you could text and organise to hang out together at some point but before the words could leave your mouth another troll (the same one with the long braids who told you Kankri never shut up about you) appeared from behind Latula.

  "Th1s 1s M33n4h."

------------------------------------Time skip brought to you by crappy author is crappy----------------------

Several introductions and hours later, it was time for you and Kankri to leave and head back to Campus. You'd most likely spent four or five hours there and you had come there in one dress and left in another, Porrim urging you to keep the one she had given you with the excuse "It lo+o+ks much better o+n yo+u then it do+es o+n me!" To be honest though, you didn't mind one bit. You'd grown to love this dress though you had ditched the pumps as soon as Kankri suggested it was getting late and the two of you should head back.

Kankri closed the doors of the house behind you too. Mituna walked beside Kankri until the two of you reached the sidewalk again. Mituna pulled you and Kankri into a hug. He practically pushed Kankri against you. You could feel the blush rushing to your cheeks. When the death grip hug was over, the walk began.

"Thanks for bringing me to see your friends Kankri, It was a lot of fun," you smiled knowing that the new friends you've made today are here for life. They all seem to be really good trolls, they have different personalities but all come together and somehow manage to not hate each other despite spending day after day together as soon as they get home.

 "N9 pr9blem," Kankri smiled "They seemed t9 enj9y y9ur c9mpany."

"Yeah, but it was mostly just Porrim attacking me with makeup." You giggled.

Kankri was about to say something but paused to think. After all how was he supposed to tell you? How was he supposed to admit that he was head over heals flushed for you?

He wasn't sure, but what he did know is that the way you were smiling at him and trying to catch his eyes meant he wasn't the only one feeling the sparks. He let out a deep sigh, maybe not today.
