New face
Baby, Lolbit, and Foxy were currently standing in the back of the classroom with all of the other students. Mr. Fitzgerald decided today was a perfect day to switch seats around. He never let them pick their seats. Instead, he told everyone to stand up so he could read the stupid seating chart to them.
He slammed his hand on the first desk in a manner that was both unnecessary and startling. "In this row I want Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie Barese, Foxy Schnur, Michael Afton, and Mari Mcclain." A bunch of students moved to where they were told. A few grumbling in disappointment.
Mr. Fitzgerald moved to the next row. "In this row we have Chica Steiker, BB Deely, Garfield Goldizen, and... Aiden and Lola Foxx." Well shit. There go Baby's only friends in this class.
The teacher shifted to the third row. "Over here we have Nathan Meyers, JJ Bambenek, Scott Cawthon, Bailey Legrand, and.." Baby silently hoped he wasn't gonna say it. "Scarlett Jones." Fuck. He said it. She was hoping she would end up sitting up to someone she at least knew. Baby had never spoken to this Bailey girl before. Hell, she wasn't sure if she had even seen her in this class before. Either way, she was stuck next to her now. Baby made her way to her new seat as Mr. Fitzgerald moved on to the next row.
The redhead violently threw her backpack on the floor and claimed her chair. She planned on being antisocial (a tactic that both her and Lolbit were pretty good at), but Bailey apparently didn't buy a ticket to the same train of thought. Apparently, she was thinking that the girl who had just put her head on the desk was up for talking.
Oh, definitely.
"Guess we're going to be sitting next to each other for awhile now huh?" It took Baby a moment to realize she was even talking to her. She didn't even sound like what she thought she would have. Bailey had some kind of accent that was most likely french. However, nothing happening here was interesting enough for Baby to actually look up when she responded. "Yeah, seems like it."
"Well, I hope we get along...Scarlett was it?" Baby lifted her head slightly to look Bailey. "Yeah, but you can just call me Baby. Everybody does."
"Baby huh? That's an odd nickname."
"True. But to be fair, I'm pretty odd."
"I Like it." Oh, okay. That was unexpected. The shorter girl was going to respond when the teacher decided to interrupt and... teach I guess? Actually, that word doesn't really accurately describe what Mr. Fitzgerald does. What was more likely the cause of the interruption was him dumping another project on them. "Now that you all have your new seats, I want you to get up and make groups of four. You're going to use your textbooks, choose five important writers, and write down some background on them that you'll present to the class." Oh hey, what do know. It WAS another stupid project. And as per the norm, people were already magnetizing towards their friends before the teacher was even done talking. Baby's friends included. Foxy pulled up a chair and Lolbit sat right on Baby's desk. "Dude, get your ass off my desk."
"Hey now, is that any way to talk to your partner?"
"Yes."
"Maybe that's why we always end up a group of three." Foxy turned towards Bailey. "You wanna join our group?"
"Sure."
"Awesome. Now you can be a part of our freakshow. You're the new girl right?" She nodded. That would explain why Baby didn't recognize her. Though she assumed that was just because she didn't pay enough attention to know most people in her school. Probably should've been obvious though. Oh well.
Foxy and Lolbit started pestering the girl with a shit ton of dumb questions. You know, as opposed to actually doing work. Not that anyone was complaining. Baby didn't contribute much to the conversation. Though she was willing to admit, she enjoyed the girl's company more than she thought she would. The two siblings seemed to like her as well. Mostly judging by the fact they invited her to their lunch table. The most sacred of all invitations. Well, among them at least.
As Baby got home she slammed the front door. She was greeted by her brother upon walking in. He was on the kitchen counter sniffing the plastic fruit like a weirdo. Not the first time he'd been caught doing that. Unfortunately for the poor fruit, it was immediately tossed aside when his sister walked through the door. "Hey there little sis!"
"Hi Ennard."
"You know, we didn't get to finish our conversation this morning." Annnnnd all hope that he forgot was lost then and there. "Oh yeah, that."
"I heard from Yenn that she sat at your guy's table."
"She did."
"Awesome balls. She must be good friend material then. I'll have to sit with you guys soon. What's her name? Bailey right?"
"First off, please refrain from saying awesome balls ever again. Second, we're calling her Ballora now."
"Ballora?"
"Yeah. You know everyone who sits with us gets some weird nickname 'Ennard'."
"I know, I know. I have a few questions though. Tell me, is she actually from France?"
"She has a french accent, so it's pretty likely."
"Is she really nice?"
"I'd say so."
"Does she have a sense of humor?"
"Uh, seems like it so far."
"What does she look like?"
"Um, she's tall, kinda tan, and has blue hair."
"Is she cute?" Okay, that was out of nowhere. "WHY DO YOU NEED TO KNOW THESE THINGS ANYWAYS?!" Ennard shrugged. "I dunno. Just curious I guess."
"Riiiiiiight."
"You still didn't answer my question."
"Yeah, that's because I'm not going to."
