"Live with me" he said

"What?" Well that caught me off guard. What does he mean by 'live with me'?

"I meant to say that you can come stay at my place until you find another home"

"Ohhh. No you don't have to do that for me. I'll just look for another place to stay, don't worry about it."

"You see Einstein, 24 hours is very little time for you to be able to find a place and pack all your stuff. Plus I don't think that anyone would be wanting to give you a place right now because of you being a 'murder suspect'."

'Well that makes sense' I thought to myself

"Yeah it does" I snapped out of my thoughts, "were you talking to me?" I asked him

"Uhh... yeah. Just move in with me... for now"

'Was I actually saying that out loud?' 

I then turned to V, "Ok but I think that we are going to have to hide the fact that I still live in this apartment building because they would have kicked me out of the apartment for a reason. And that very stupid reason is that I am a so called murder suspect and I am seen by people as a potential threat"

"True, but how are we going to get you wandering around without anyone suspecting you?"

"Hmm.... Oh I know, I can wear a bucket hat and a mask, that should cover up my face right? Ugh, I just can't believe that despite being innocent, I have to hide myself like I really am guilty"

"Don't worry, as time flies people will forget about it eventually and everything will get back to normal," he came closer and patted my shoulder and walked towards my apartment door, "let's get your things and get out of here"

I opened my apartment door and we went inside and started packing up all my things.

~Time Skip~

Since only V and I shared this apartment floor nobody else showed up which made it easier for us to 'execute our plan'. I didn't have much stuff since I have only been living here for less than 6 months so we didn't have much work to do and we finished in about 5 hours.

I then called Julia to come and pick up the apartment keys from me but she told me to leave the keys in the pot plant since she felt scared of even interacting with me. WOW, scared of an innocent person huh? Great. 

It was already getting dark so I left the keys in the pot plant near my apartment door and gathered all my things making my way to V's apartment. When we entered his apartment, something hit me. V has only one available room and so we have to figure out who will be staying where. I turned my head to V but he seemed to be lost in his own thoughts.

V POV

As I entered my house I realised that there is only one room that can be used and that is my own bedroom. I can't give her the other room or use it myself so I'll just sleep on the couch and give her my room to use.

I turned to Y/N who was already looking at me.

"You can sleep in my room and I will sleep here" I said pointing to my couch.

"No, I can't just let you sleep on the couch. This is your house so I will sleep on the couch and you can sleep in your room" 

'gosh she is so stubborn'. I thought to myself.

After some minutes, that felt like hours of debating, she finally gave up and agreed to sleep in my room and me sleeping on the couch. Phew, that was hard work to actually persuade her.

Y/N POV

After I agreed to his idea, he turned to his room to get his blanket and pillow.

'He persuades really easily'

"Yeah I have an actual talent of persuading people" he said without turning his head towards me

I quickly covered my mouth with both of my hands. Did I really say that out loud? I may have,  that's why he replied, it's not like he can hear my thoughts. I really have to pay attention to what I say out loud or in my mind. People are hearing what I think of and what I am supposed to say to them stays inside me. I think I was born malfunctioned.

After everything was set and in place, we decided that we would go out on a quiet walk down the streets. I went into 'my' room and quickly got out my hat and mask to hide myself and we made our way to the lift.

As soon as we got into the lift, the doors were starting to close when a woman's voice shouted a 'wait' and pressed the lift button, opening the door. My eyes grew wider and wider as the lift door opened and revealed Julia. Each time she took a step into the lift I felt anxious and tried not to make eye contact with her. She greeted V and looked at me while I tried to stay calm and not blow my cover by becoming a panicking mess.

V POV

Julia entered the lift and greeted me. I greeted her back in a polite way and then her eyes shifted to Y/N. 

"Who is this young lady? I have never seen her around here."

I looked at Y/N, I knew I was the one who had to make up an excuse to save her from getting kicked out. I quickly put my arm around her shoulder and looked at Julia.

"She is my girlfriend"

"Wow, that's nice but I have never seen her with you before. Is it recent?"

"Uhhh... yeah. It's so recent, about two seconds ago..." Y/N pinched my arm and I flinched. "ouch, I mean 2 days ago"

"Oh that's lovely"

The lift finally came down to the ground floor and Julia exited the lift leaving me and Y/N alone. She moved my arm from around her shoulder and looked at me as if she was going to shoot fire out of her eyes.

"Dude, girlfriend? seriously?" she asked me 

"um yeah, seriously. seriously enough to save you from getting kicked out again. Khaja (let's go)"

???POV

"Hello Boss? She is out at night with him. What should I do?"

"............................."

"On it"

Author POV

Y/N and V were peacefully walking together in the quiet night when all of a sudden a motorbike came speeding towards and almost hit Y/N. That is when V pulled her hand and moved her out of the motorbike's path and closer to him. Y/N's head rested on V's chest as they stood there completely still. V thought that Y/N was shocked because of what just happened but Y/N was of her own mind right then. 

She realised that as her head was resting on his chest, she could not hear his heartbeat which was a little... weird. 

'Knock it off, how would he even be alive without a heart, that would just be impossible' she said to herself as she shook off her thoughts and they both went home after a while.

~Time Skip~

Morning

Y/N POV

Another day, another fresh start. The morning rays hit my back as the sun continues to rise and fill the room with light. I woke up to a feeling of breathing on my face. As I slowly opened my eyes, I saw V sleeping very close to me and not to forget saying, on the same bed. 

I surprisingly shot my eyes wide open and screamed, kicking him, making him fly out of the bed. He woke up groaning in pain.

"Oh god, her kicks are so powerful" He mumbled to himself

"What are you doing in my bed?"

"My bed, to be specific"

"Same difference"

He got up and sat at the foot of the bed and started explaining that he might have slept- walked to the room. He sleep- walks?🤭

~Time Skip~

We decided that we will have breakfast at a café so we got ready and made our way to the lift. There were already a few people in the lift and when we got in, it started to fill with more and more people as the lift went down to each floor, causing everybody to cramp up together, with V very close to me near the wall. 

'Oh god, the lift is going to fall with this many people in it. Isn't there a limit to how many people can go in a lift at one time? I'm just surprised that this lift is working with this much of an overload'

Author  POV

With the lift still packed, another large man entered the lift, pushing people while trying to fit in when V got pushed over and Y/N's head rested near his chest again. To her surprise, she realised that she can't hear his heartbeat again. She got quite suspicious, how can someone living not have a heartbeat?...
