Author's POV

'You're back, I've been waiting for you'

V gave Y/N an intense stare before slowly walking towards her.

"I was getting worried about you because you were getting late"

"Oh nothing, I told you, I was going for a walk around the city and I also went to get a few things of my own. See?" I said to him, showing him the bag that contained all the things that I bought. "You wanted to tell me something?" I asked him.

"Yeah well I wanted to talk to you about the thing that happened at the campus before you ended up in hospital"

They went and sat down on the couch and the first thing that came to Y/N's mind was if Shadow had tried to attack him but then he started talking about why he ignored her which totally caught her off guard.

"Well, when I saw you fighting Jennie, I felt really bad and uncomfortable. I don't really like the idea of getting into fights or watching other people fighting or suffering either. Maybe that was why I got so worked up and ignored you for the time being."

V looked down as Y/N continued to look at him and listened quietly to what he had to say.

"Well, now I realise that because of my behaviour, you were hurt and quite distant from me and that's when I realised that I was going to lose my dearest and only friend." He looked up at Y/N and reached out for her hand holding it really tightly. Y/N looked into his teary eyes as V got up and pulled Y/N to stand up with him.

"Can I have my friend back?" he asked as he stood close to Y/N and looked at her. All Y/N could do was stare at his eyes and feel the butterflies going wild in her abdomen.

Y/N looked at him for a little while and then slapped her palm on V's forehead causing him to take multiple steps back.

 V stood in his new place after he backed away and looked at Y/N confused.

"What was that for?"

"Isn't that what friends do?" she asked him

"Abusive friends to be exact" he replied

"Same difference 'friend' " she replied, emphasising the word friend

"I'll do it myself then..." and with that, he walked steadily towards Y/N and held her head, pulling her towards him into a warm hug.

While hugging V, Y/N's heart fluttered wildly and the butterflies in her stomach seemed to be getting out of control. She started feeling weak at her knees when her eyes fell on her wrist and she realised that the bracelet was gone. The butterflies died out and her heart found its correct rhythm again as worry captured her.

Y/N's POV

'Where did the bracelet go?'

After we broke off from the hug, I looked down on the floor, looking for the bracelet. My eyes wandered all over the floor before I spotted the bracelet on the floor next to the door, its colour was completely darkened and its shape was starting to disorientate to ash. 

So that means that there is someone really powerful near that destroyed the bracelet. What if it's V? No, it can't be him. He's got nothing to do with it,

I trust him...

~The Next Day~

University day

V and I entered the university campus early in the morning to get everything sorted for our next lecture together. On our way in, I saw BlackPink at a distance looking at the two of us. Well, me the most. Lisa, Jisoo and Rose looked at me and then turned their heads around, feeling anxious about when I would have my next outburst. However, one thing was really weird, Jennie looked at me and then started to walk towards me.

Ok, so I beat her up, her friends are scared of me and she isn't? Like what? Is she coming for another punch?

The fact that I beat Jennie up was not really a hot topic throughout the campus because it happened after everybody was told to go home after the dead bodies were found. However, people did wonder what happened to Jennie's face because it looked like a cake that had gone through a kitchen accident.

I wanted to ignore her but she came face to face with me. I tried to walk away but she held my hand, stopping me from leaving. I pulled my hand away from her and she flinched thinking that I was going to hit her.

"Please Y/N, can we talk? Please?" she insisted, blocking me every time I tried to walk past her.

"Y/N, listen to what she has to say and then we can go" V interrupted as he held my arm stopping me from going away because even he was getting tired of watching the cat and mouse act.

"Hurry up and say what you want and then get out of my face" I gave her a stinging reply.

Jennie put her head down for a second, then looked up and started talking.

~Flashback~

Jennie's POV

I was alone in the bathroom after all the students had gone home early. I packed my bags and walked through the corridor making my way out of the building. I felt a strong presence as if I was not walking alone. I felt like someone was following me. I stopped in my tracks and looked back but nobody was there. Getting scared I turned around and started walking again hoping that I would get out of the building hoping there would be at least some people around. 

I heard some footsteps following me again but the pace started getting faster and faster. I started to panic and broke my speed walking into a sprint, not wanting to waste my time and look back at whoever it was. Soon after, I heard a strong whoosh, it sounded like wind and a black cloud came in front of me and turned into a man in a hoodie. I couldn't really see his face because his face was covered by the hoodie but I could see his scary mouth. He opened his mouth a little and it revealed two long fangs.

Completely freaking out, I opened my mouth to scream but he put his left hand over my mouth and put his right head on my forehead. Just then, everything went completely blank.

I felt like I had passed out but I woke up from the darkness when I hit the ground. My face and stomach started to hurt as if I was beaten up by a group of men.

My eyes opened weakly and I saw that you were in front of me with BTS holding on to you, stopping you from charging at me. After V carried me to the nurse's office, I saw my face in the mirror and started to cry. I really don't know what happened to me after that man touched my head.

Author's POV

Jennie began crying and Y/N realised that Jennie said a hooded man was following her. The last time, Y/N remembered that when someone put their fingers on her head, she passed out. However, when they put their hand on Jennie's head, they took over her body? That means that whatever Jennie said to Y/N that caused her to punch Jennie was actually the hooded man's doing?

"Jennie, did you see something else on him? Like a mark? A bracelet or... a necklace?" Y/N asked her, trying to differentiate who it might have been.

Jennie thought hard before speaking up again 

"I saw a necklace on him just before he reached out for my head"

"What did the necklace look like?"

"It had a black rope and it had a small oval with a larger oval around it. The two ovals were silver I guess... yeah they were silver. That's all I saw and that's all I remember"

V's POV

Listening to Jennie's description, it all pointed me to only one direction.

'Was it him???'

(A/N: Him? Who is this 'him' V?

V: Shut up author, don't act like you don't know him

Y/N's POV

After Jennie finished talking and started crying, I realised that she might have been compelled by one of Shadow's gang members. So that means that whatever Jennie said to me that blew my anger off to the clouds was actually all compelled by Shadow's gang member? And that's when I realised that I actually beat the shit out of the wrong person.

'Oopss...Oh no, wrong move on the wrong person at the wrong time...'

I just stood there trying to think of a non- supernatural explanation to tell Jennie about her way of behaving at that specific time. As far as I could function my 'sexy brain' I just told her that she might have been drunk and the situation wasn't really good for me either and that's why things happened how they happened that day.

I turned to V to say that we are getting late for classes when I noticed that V was looking elsewhere, lost in his own thoughts.

V's POV

'What was he trying to do with Jennie? Why provoke Y/N into hurting someone who isn't even involved in all this? There has to be an explanation.'

Y/N's POV

"Hey V, let's go, we're getting late for class" I said to him and with that, he nodded his head and we left for classes after Jennie walked back to BlackPink.

As V and I were walking to the lecture theatre, we met BTS on the way. The first person I noticed was Hobi, he was looking at me with his 'fake sunshine smile', waving and saying hi. If he is giving this fake care, then I'll also give him fake care. 

I waved back at him and gave him my best fake smile and laugh. I was disgusted that a person like Hobi was around BTS who probably didn't know who he really was.

"Hey Y/N, going to class?" RM asked me and I nodded

"Hey Y/N, wanna join us after the lecture at the courts? We will be playing basketball there" SUGA asked and for the first ever time I saw him smile. I felt quite blessed to see such a cute gummy smile and that too on someone who I thought didn't know how to smile.

"Yeah sure, I can join" I replied

"Great then, we'll see you after the lecture on the courts." Jimin replied

As I moved forward to go towards the lecture theatre, I tripped on my shoelaces and just as I thought that I would fall face first on the concrete, RM caught me thankfully. My eyes were closed as I was waiting for the impact but after I realised that I was saved, I began to slowly open my eyes and what I saw after that was unexpected.

A necklace similar to Hobi's was hanging out from RM's neck, coming out of his shirt. The shocking thing about that necklace was that even though it was similar to Hobi's, it had a different colour. The pink- purple coloured necklace was the exact same one that I saw in my dream. 

I looked up at RM as he smirked at me and then changed his expression instantly helping me stabilise myself again. How can he be someone so cruel yet so caring at the same time?

So that means that RM also has supernatural powers? A more important question is that is he really the leader of the supernatural group that Hobi is in?

All this is getting more and more complicated and intense at the same time. First Hobi, then the bracelet, then Jennie being compelled and now RM being the supernatural leader of Hobi's group? I really have to go and talk to Araminta about this.

There is definitely something that I am missing. Something big...
