The early morning sun shone bright and strong, it filled her entire apartment as if it were looking for Y/N. But she wasn't there... 

Soon the door started to creak open and Y/N walked in tired, looking like a zombie. Her clothes were covered in dirt as if she had an early morning walk in the jungle. Y/N's eyes were filled with tiredness but somewhere in them she had the willingness to look more into something that she had come for.

~Last Night~

Y/N POV

I was looking at the map of the city to find where the most odd place would be where those supernatural things might hide. The jungle? Maybe an island in the middle of the ocean? Or some kind of hut by a dark creek? 

Just as I was thinking of all the possible places where the super naturals' hideouts might be, something sparked in my brain. I gasped. What about abandoned mansions? Maybe this was it. I scanned through the map looking for abandoned or empty mansions which might be somewhere dark, somewhere where people hardly visit. Aha! Found it. There is an abandoned mansion further out of the city and it looks like its in the middle of nowhere. Maybe this is it. 

Its getting dark already, maybe I should get going if I really want to find the answers to my dark questions that I have been looking for, for the past 2 years. I got up and went to get changed into something that will be warm and comfortable for me to run in. Not me running to save my life, but me  running to catch the culprit. So I got into these,

I quickly grabbed my phone and torch and got out of the apartment. I slowly closed my apartment door and as I turned around to leave for the mansion, the 'V' guy was standing behind me.

I jumped a bit, not because I got scared but it was just that I didn't expect him to be standing there just looking at me. He surely looked a bit weird, I mean the way he just stands there and looks at me feels different, he didn't even say anything. The air of awkwardness felt too thick so I went ahead to kill the silence. 

"Um, what are you doing here? I mean like its dark now, shouldn't you be sleeping or something?"

"I can ask you the same thing"

Gosh this guy doesn't answer my questions properly. He has to ask me a question except of replying to my one. 

"Oh, um, I'm just going out to get some fresh air, Its a bit suffocating in there"

"Yeah whatever, be back before you get lost"

"?"

"Your real estate agent told me that you are new here and judging by her looks, if something happens to you I bet that she will be up at my tail to say that I didn't take care of you"

"I can take care of myself thank you very much"

"Well doesn't look like. You are going out all alone in the dark."

"Well yes, I am all alone, I don't need you to be checking up at me all the time. I said that I will be back."

I made sure that my apartment door was locked before I turned around and went off leaving V standing there weirdly.

??? POV

"She has left her apartment, I think she is coming for us already"

"........."

"Ok, and you also get ready, she looks like nothing can scare her since her intentions are purely of revenge"

V POV

She sure is a weird girl, going off in the dark all alone. She locked her apartment door and went off.

"Why does she make me feel so weird? Why does she make me worry about her so much when I just met her a few hours ago. "

I went back inside my apartment and put my head against the door as I locked it.

"Wait... What am I thinking? Why am I worrying about that crazy girl so much? Let her be, why should I care where she goes. It's non of my business. What might she think about me right now." 

Well to everyone I am just a nerd and the awkward encounter with Y/N might have made me look like a total weird guy. But I have to stay like this to hide and not stand out. 

Oh my god V! Focus. I went straight to my room and laid down on my bed looking at the ceiling thinking of waiting for Y/N, is there something that she is hiding? She does look fearless like nothing can harm her. I wonder what is up with that girl. Thinking about all that my eyes started to feel droopy and my body started to feel loose. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Y/N POV

I took the night bus to reach the last stop right to the end of the city, from there I then took a taxi to reach near my final destination. The taxi driver refused to drive in any further out of the city saying that this place can be dangerous so I had to walk a little to get to the mansion. Is it just me or the weather is always bad outside an abandoned mansion?

I carefully opened the gates of the mansion and the rusted iron gates gave off a really teeth rattling sound which could have deafened me. Slowly walking towards the main entrance of the mansion I opened the door. The door creaked endlessly until it came to a stop. I swear next time I come here, either I am bringing oil for the door or I am replacing the entire door. Like seriously, what is with abandoned mansions with bad weather, rusted gates and creaking doors. If the super naturals really live here then a bit of maintenance doesn't hurt does it?

The whole mansion looked and sounded really empty. I must have come to the wrong one then. I turned around to leave but as I was going, something started to shine outside in the backyard. I looked out the window to see some people in long black hoods that covered their faces. They all were holding up their hands in front of a cauldron that was illuminating a green light, they slowly started walking around the cauldron. From where I was standing, I could the mysterious people circling the cauldron and something on their necks shining like crazy.

My eyes grew large as if they were about to pop out of their sockets. I quickly put my hand inside my pocket and took out the necklace of the culprit, they look exactly the same. All of them were wearing it but one of them was not. That is when I realised that the person without the necklace is my culprit. The heat of anger and revenge took over my entire body. I couldn't just stand there and watch them doing whatever they were doing, I wanted to go and beat the shit out of that demon, vampire, whatever it was but I had to control myself and observe what they were doing. 

They all were taking weird things out of their pockets like a small length of hair and a nail polish bottle and put them into the cauldron which turned those things into ashes. Maybe they were the belongings of  people who they killed like my parent. I was calm and still, watching their next move when I saw the man without the necklace taking out my mother's handkerchief. That is when I completely lost it. I kicked the back door open in rage and ran towards the culprit. All the other people snapped their fingers and vanished into thin air. Even that weird- looking cauldron disappeared.

Alone in the backyard that looked like a grave yard stood me and the filthy culprit. I so wanted to have a one on one fight with him and ask why he killed my parents but then he attacked me first with something that blew smoke all around us. While the smoke flew in the air, I put the necklace in my pocket and got ready to fight as the necklace might be something that the culprit might try to get from me first.

Once the smoke was gone, I could clearly see him, standing there so shamelessly smiling at me. His smile irritated me, he opened his mouth a little and I could see his fangs coming out like swords. As he started to run towards me, I dodged the first attack from him. He grabbed my collar ready to bite me but then I did this to him,

(imagine that his face is covered and the doctor is you)

After multiple attacks and saves, both of us didn't have energy to finish off the fight but I knew that I had to end this b*tch because he killed my parents and showed no mercy. I was about to run and stab him with a dagger that I kept with me until someone put their fingers on my forehead and I started to feel loose and then, everything went pitch black in front of my eyes.

The last thing I remember is being carried and thrown somewhere.

V POV

I was finally awake after I had my unusual nap. I usually wake up the next morning if I sleep at this time but something felt off today. I got up and decided to walk around the apartment building when I opened the door and felt something fall on my feet. I looked down to find Y/N's unconscious body laying there like nothing. Not knowing why, I had this pricking feeling in my heart when I saw her like this. I picked her up in bridal style and took her inside my apartment since I can't go looking for where she might have her keys. 

I lay her on my bed and asked the campus doctor if she could come and do a check up. After the went from assessing Y/N she told me to take care of her since she gives signs of stress and trauma. At first I was confused of what stress and trauma she was talking about but then I remembered that she was going outside alone. Maybe something happened at that time. I bowed to the doctor and thanked and apologised to her for calling her in at this hour and dropped her off to the door. I then went back to my room and saw Y/N sleeping so peacefully. 

I looked at her and examined her facial features, she certainly is beautiful. Her features may seem normal at first glance but if you continue to look at her properly you can actually see the true beauty that lay behind that face. I could feel a small spark in my heart followed by a flattering feeling,

"What are you doing V? Why do you start to act weird around her? Wae?"

Ignoring how he felt thinking that it is because of his introverted personality of helping someone he just met, he fell asleep on the couch in his room.

Y/N POV

I woke up to the sound of the birds. It was morning, I got up and found myself in an unfamiliar room. I was not in my apartment, when I got up to walk around I saw V sleeping on the couch like a baby. His hair was messy yet it looked good on his clear fair skin. To me he looked like a nerd and weird dude when we first met but now when I look at him properly, he is a handsome guy without his glasses.

"Aish what do you think you are doing Y/N?" my heart felt like it skipped a beat when V slightly smiled in his sleep.

Getting an idea of what might have happened yesterday at the mansion, I start to walk towards the door to get when I suddenly stop and check my pocket for the necklace hoping that the culprit didn't take it when I was unconscious. My eyes almost popped when I couldn't find the necklace in my pocket. I panicked started to look for it on the bed thinking that I may have  dropped it there. It wasn't there, the necklace is the last thing that can help me in finding the culprit...

Hello my lovely readers. I hope that you enjoyed reading this update, if not then I am sorry. I know some parts may be boring to read but I have lots of ideas in my small head but I can't seem to put them down in words properly.
